Name: Ramona Havard

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Personality: Serious and even a little stoic, she can be a bit stern, uptight, and tense, if not a little cold at times. Ramona has a hard, doesn't-take-crap-from-anyone exterior that commands respect from most of those around her. Despite this kind of exterior, she can be empathetic to those whose struggles are similar to her own. She takes her duty to the royal family and prince very seriously and feels as if her job never rests. Rarely does she ever let her walls down because rarely is she truly comfortable. Her humor is dry but witty and she will never sugar-coat anything -- she'll always tell it like it is. When she's angry, she can get frosty with people and she shows no mercy on the battlefield or to those who may cause harm to those she wants to protect (and she would easily give her life to protect those people).

Bio: Ramona doesn't talk much about her family (she doesn't talk much about herself at all, really, but her family even less). Her parents were simple farmers who were attacked by bandits one night. They didn't see Ramona there but the bandits ransacked the place and left nothing of value for the girl who had nothing left. She was too young (5 years old) to inherit the land so the land was given to the state/kingdom and she was left to fend for herself for years. Ramona experience many hardships since then, with lack of food and other street kids. She became a decent little thief that allowed her to feed herself and others enough to not starve, and she became an expert in the city. Knowing which places would keep you warm on cold nights, and which places were best to avoid after dark. She knew how to avoid royal guards too, for some enjoyed abusing their power. It was one of these guards, who in a show of their authority, attempted to injure one of her fellow street children one day during a royal procession. The now 11-year-old Ramona didn't think about it, she just acted and knocked the guard down with all the strength she could muster. In an attempt to gain some dignity, the guard and his fellow guards pursued her. She managed to evade them for a while, at least until the king got involved himself. Ramona would be lying if she wasn't scared for her life at the moment. After all, she had just made a fool of the royal guard in a public square. Yet the king was not angry at all. He found what she did for the poor street boy admirable and decided to take her in. He seemed to have seen some king of potential in Ramona for since then, she was trained by some of the kingdom's best warriors to be a personal guard to the prince. Ramona worked hard to prove that she was worthy to the king and prince who had taken her off the streets.
