Think I could jump in and would posting just a few times a week be enough?

It should. Though certain parts of the RP will entail some bits of focused posting, but ye know that much. Just make the profile here and we're good. Were you still gonna stick with that one we discussed?

I'm cheating and adding another character while Watson's better more obnoxious half recuperates from wrestling fatigue

-Bio- (Spoilers for Birthright and Fates in general)

Years ago on a faraway continent, two kingdoms were in an uneasy armistace. The mighty kingdom of Nohr's king, Garon, had long antagonized its honorable and elegant neighboring country Hoshido till one day, he offered the other nation a chance at peace. Wary as he may have been, Hoshido's king Sumaragi could not ignore such a tempting and hope filled offer to finally ease the burden on both nations, and he set out to the proscribed meeting place near the border of both kingdoms to negotiate with his longtime rival. He took his young daughter Corrin with him, after the young girl begged him to let her see this wonderful moment in person herself. But King Garon's offer had not been made in good faith, and near as soon as the king and his retinue entered the city, they found themselves surrounded and slaughtered by Nohr's soldiers, with the mad King's own axe personally striking Sumeragi's head from its shoulders.

Corrin saw all this happen before her very eyes, and despite the trials she would face later in life the fear she felt as her father's murderer turned towards her was an all consuming terror. She put up no fight as he swept her into his arms like a sack, and fainted from shock shortly after. So great was this trauma, that over the ensuing weeks she broke down entirely, and the king's poisoned words slowly rebuilt her shattered mind in a new image; She was a princess of Nohr, his daughter, and had been all her life. A lie far easier to believe than the truth that had occurred to the poor girl

Corrin spent her life afterwards in a fortess far from the border of Hoshido, which help speed along the fading of her memories. But though Garon had procured her for wicked machinations, his children were not so cruel. The crown prince Xander and his other siblings, the passionate Camilla, practical and clever Leo, and kind and excitable Elise, accepted Corrin truly as their sister, and spent much of their time visiting the young girl. Corrin grew up isolated but well cared for, and slowly became happy and content with her station in life, despite yearning to learn of the world outside the fortress walls she did not even know she had forgotten.

One day that was much like any other in Corrin's new life, Xander and the other suddenly arrived with great tidings; Their father had finally decided to let Corrin leave the fortress to join them and be active in the politics of Nohr. Overjoyed, Corrin accompanied them to the capitol, where Garon greeted them in their throne room and surprised them all with a test for Corrin; She was given a magic blade and told to strike down a group of Hoshidan prisoners; though she bested them all, when her father ordered the killing blow she could not follow through, and it was only Leo stepping in to 'slay' them himself that saved her from her father's ire.

Proven, she was ordered to scout a pass in the mountain range that spanned between the two kingdoms to solidify the border and keep more hoshidan spies away. She accepted, but the hoshidans were already there, and claimed she was trespassing into their borders and attacked. Corrin had no choice but to defend herself, and when she thought the battle won, her retainers and she herself found were suddenly attacked and betrayed by a brute who had been sent by Garon under the pretense of helping them. But to the grunt's surprise and terror, the princess' fury at her companion's death sparked something inside her, that made her form twist and bend unatturaly into lizard like appendages to strike at him with astonishing strength, and he fled for his life. drained, scared, and heartbroken, Corrin collapsed, the last sight as her eyes darkened a pair of feet silently creeping towards her.

When she awoke, she found herself well within the lands of Hoshido. Dismayed that she had gone from being betrayed to dumped straight into the hands of the enemy, she resigned herself to her fate. Yet the ninja who came for her was the very one she'd spared before, and he simply chuckled when she asked what punishment awaited her before telling her that she had been invited to the capitol. confused, she made the journey, and was greeted by a woman she did not recognized crying with joy at the sight of her. The woman introduced herself as Queen Mikoto of Hoshido, and told Corrin she was the long lost daughter and princess of their land. Needless to say Corrin was shocked; all memories of that time had long since faded, and she'd grown to love her Nohrian siblings like the family they were at heart. Yet the woman seemed so genuine, and the other Hoshidan royals also claimed to know her, save one: Azura, a princess of Nohr who had been kidnapped by a Hoshidan Ninja in retaliation for Corrin's abduction, only to be abandoned by Garon entirely when a trade was offered. The two formed an quick companionship over their strange, mirrored circumstances, and Corrin was slowly coming to believe the stories all here were telling her when the queen offered her a chance to attend a Hoshidan festival. Corrin of course agreed, and joined the woman who claimed to be her mother in the square of the town for the opening ceremony.

It was here that disaster struck, as Garon's plan was finally put into motion.

And since this is getting lengthy the events that followed this were long and winding; Corrin sided with Hoshido in the war that erupted, and fought through armies, betrayals, and former family to finally put the mad king down for good. Her brother Ryoma became king of Hoshido, and Leo became the ruler of Nohr after Xander died at Corrin's own hand. Though the kingdoms were saved, Corrin found herself listless; While they had given her no choice, the man she had called father and the brother she had adored were both dead by her hand, and her dear sister Elise and the woman who had become her closest companion in Azura had succumbed to blade and curse respectively. On top of that, many in Hoshido's court still mistrusted her upbringing despite Garon's cruel plans being brought out of the shadows, and Nohr was likewise wary of the warrior princess who invaded her former home and killed the king who had led them with an iron but powerful fist for years. Sensing this, Ryoma gave Corrin the task when a messenger from the far off land of Aurora arrived to offer them an invitation to the celebration of the icy kingdom opening their borders. Leo agreed, and Corrin has been sent to represent both kingdoms... much to her chagrin, the games of politics and nobility decidedly not the forte of the still naive and fiery princess who led an uprising against a tyrant.
