The Grim Reaper's Helper

The spirit was hit by the scythe, but didn't even flinch. Without showing the slightest signal of pain, he kept attacking, faster, stronger, and a vicious glow of evil in its eyes. On if his claws managed to rip part of Cadence's clothes, barely hurting her on the leg.

Cadence didn't care if it hit her, taring her cloths. She swung her scythe around again to hit the spirit, this time with more force. This thing didn't frighten her, nothing but her master frightened her. "What a pain." She said as she attacked again, much more calmly than what the spirit was doing.

Given little incentive to really explore, Ellis decided to go back and take a bit of a rest in the room assigned to her. She thought about a lot of things, mostly what she would be doing from here on out, as she let her eyes drift closed.

The spirit's anger didn't seem to decrease at all, but it was becoming slower, its body damaged from the sucesive attacks. Suddenly, it turned around its head, apparently sensing something. Without even a single glance at Cadence, it began running in the opposite direction, fleeing away.

Cadence watched it, she wasn't sure what it was leaving for. "Should I go after it, Master." She said in her had and waited for a response. During that time it seemed the father had went home like he was told, he should be safe unless the creature was trying to follow him. If the spirit was going somewhere else though, it would only be the Grim Reaper's choice if she went after it or not.
