Crow took a sip of water and then put the glass back on the table. "So, this game works exactly as real life, huh." the boy commented. "Sounds good. Does the handbook say anything else? Anything that could be useful?" he then asked, while he took the piece of fruit and began to eat.

Azle nodded. "Exactly like real life. It also says there are several endings. There is only one where the royals are not in charge anymore...but a specific set of events have to happen for that to work."

Crow looked Azle in the eye when she mentioned an ending in which the royals lose their positions. A specific set of events... To Crow it did not matter what kind of events they are. That ending was their goal, and his jealousy of the royals made him ready to do anything to reach that goal. "Did it say what those events are?" Crow asked the warrior, wanting to know everything about the ending.

Azle sighed. "No..it did not, sadly. I looked up all the cheats they offered and everything, but the only hint I got was not to be caught." she sat across from Crow at the table. "So I'm going to take a shot and say it has to do with secrecy, big time."

Crow sighed. "Seems like the handbook was rubbish anyway. Good I didn't read it." He took the last bit of the fruit, another sip of water and then he put his hands behind his head, leaning back. "So, what are your plans for the attack on the kingdom?"

"Well...I figured first we'd have to take out the guards, would we not?" Azle said, resting her elbow on the table and resting her head in her palms.

"I guess so." Crow answered and thought for a little. The girl was right. The royal guards were probably their biggest enemies. Without them, the kingdom would be wide open for an attack. "And how do you plan to accomplish that? Are we going to kill them?" he asked. Killing them maybe seemed to be a bit harsh, but Crow was ready to do anything.

"Or we could kidnap them. Convince them that there is a threat to the kingdom somewhere, and run them right into a trap." Azle smiled. She was okay with killing them, but if they captured them, they can get all the information they wanted. "Then, we can interrogate them."

"That does sounds like a better idea." Crow responded. "We can always kill then when we don't need them anymore." He stopped holding his hands against the back of his head and sat straight on his chair. "But first I need a weapon. You got that mighty sword there, but I don't have anything except these clothes..." he sighed again.

Azle nodded. "Hmm.." she reached to a belt on her hip, pulling out six throwing knives. "Here." she slid them across the table where the stopped in front of him. "You can have those." she smiled. "And I'll see what else I can find or make. Any favorite weapons?" she asked, tiling her head slightly. She was glad she made one friend in this game. Most people she scared off.

Crow inspected one of the throwing knives he just received from Azle. He had no experience at all with throwing knives, but he assumed that he could at least cut people with them if needed. "A real knife or dagger would be fine. Some thin sword, perhaps? At least something light-weight and easy to carry around." he answered her question.

Azle nodded, putting these on a mental checklist. "Got it. I'll see what I can do." she smiled, shifting. "Anything else you'd like...Shadow?" she asked, testing a new nickname.

"Good." Crow replied when Azle told him she would try to get him a new weapon. Then he heard his new nickname. "What did you just call me?" he asked as he stared at the girl with a confused look on his face.

"Shadow...is it not good either?" She asked, sighing, trying to come up with another nickname, looking at the table, thinking. She rubbed the back of her neck, thinking.

"Well... It's ten times better than Grumpy C. or whatever the heck you called me back there." Crow said while he played with one of the throwing knives, mumbling a bit. "But is it really necessary to give me a nickname? Crow is already a really cool name, isn't it?" On the last part his voice sounded a little unsure.

Azle nodded. "It is..sorry..I.." she sighed, looking at him. "Sorry Crow..I'm just used to nicknaming people." she said. "Is there anything else you want? Are you tired, still hungry, cold, warm..anything?" she said, standing and starting to clean the table off.

Cian and Nicholas wandered around for a while until they found a large room. On one side of the room was a very large stair case, leading up to a set of double doors. At the bottom of the stair case the room was just a big open room with tables close to both of the walls that stretched nearly all across the room. "Hey Cian...this must be where they have their balls and such. Who knows maybe we will be dancing with princesses out there before too long. What do you think?" Cian nodded to Nicholas in agreement. "Right now though...lets get some food."

They left the room in search of a kitchen. Wandering through the halls, making jokes to themselves. Before long they heard voices behind them. Nicholas was the first to look over his shoulder and see the two girls behind them. He elbowed Cian in the ribs who turned to see the two girls as well. He winked to his brother and walked up casually. "Well hello ladies." He lifted each of their hands and pressed a soft kiss to the back of each. Nicholas followed suit. "My name is Prince Cian De'loncre, and this is my brother Prince Nicholas De'loncre, I must say it is a pleasure to meet you."

Stepping out of a side hallway, which isn't exactly obvious and easily noticed, I tap both of the Princes on the shoulders. Without warning after that, I say quietly and steadily, "You two really shouldn't be walking alone, even in the castle. The Families are not as loved as they used to, after all. You need to keep a watch out, and keep a guard around."

"I can handle myself sir. These ladies are unescorted though. I think they could use the protection more than I could." Nicholas smiled, bowed politely and turned back to the girls in front of him, who he had not realized yet were princesses. Cian eyed the one who was speaking to them before nervously.

Azle nodded. "It is..sorry..I.." she sighed, looking at him. "Sorry Crow..I'm just used to nicknaming people." she said. "Is there anything else you want? Are you tired, still hungry, cold, warm..anything?" she said, standing and starting to clean the table off.

"No, not really." Crow answered Azle's question as he stood up from the chair. "I just want to know more about the game. I want to explore this place and see what the rest of the village looks like, where the castle is, things like that..."
