It was easy enough of a concept for Kurama to bring up, it seemed that Yusuke had been more interested in returning to Makai than himself, there was much to explore, and easily, stronger people to fight there, whether it be a challenge or out of malice. Kurama had known much of the the world by heart-- or at least he felt that he had, back as Yoko before his death, he and his gang had easily done a lot of traveling, if only to find new villages to pillage and plunder. The forest had been like his home for hundreds of years, fox spirit thriving among the trees as he learned to control his powers, and then to get bored. It was a simpler time, one where he could do whatever he wanted. Fun stuff.
So when he poked the dozing boy's nose to awake him, Kurama had already been certain of what Yusuke's answer would be, Kurama himself having temporarily grown bored with the human world with his parents' sudden need to go on a business trip. The idea of a lack of obligation had sounded... Appealing for once.
