"Oh, well that can be arranged." Joe grinned. "Although, yes, it can be quite a mind blower - not literally." he added for in case. "Depending on where you start and how much there is to see, one of the things you might feel is... lost and alone at the expanse of darkness around. It gets better though once you're out of the solar system."
At Sinrah's question they answered,
"Our world changes a lot throughout the year. One part is cold, another is hot and it changes almost instantly."
"We have three suns, but one is so small that it's more like a moon and doesn't give much heat or light. That's when it gets really cold."
"Most of the surface is covered in water and we have floating islands of land. Because of the two suns the days can change from very hot to mild to hot again in one day. If the second sun is closer then it usually rains for some reason."
"Other than that it's very tropical with large areas of ice lands. We don't have any hot deserts though."
"For all these reasons our species have had to be very adaptable and our females travel a lot to other places across the planet, collecting-" he had to think how to explain DNA to Sinrah, "uh, samples from other creatures to get the best pieces, you might say, that will determine how her offspring will look. Once they are satisfied they return to their husbands and have children."
"Nowadays though the females and even males travel out in space to get even more samples and thus our species has no "template" or looks the same as another. We have to determine if someone is our kind by smell."
Quain chuckled, "Children rarely look like their parents. It can get quite confusing sometimes."
