Skylar blinked a bit as the blindfold was pulled from her eyes, blind for a moment before she adjusted to the light. She looked around for a moment before her eyes focused on the guards and their bullets. Her eyes narrowed and she raised her hands, the shadows around the guards rising and wrapping around them. She then gripped her hands into fists and the guards would suddenly fall to the ground, passed out with shadows over their eyes. The shadows around the courtyard began rising and flickering like flames, the girl having anger in her eyes.​
 
slowly fading in and out of consiousness she layed her tails on top of kyoya in case a new set of guards came and opened fire it it would protect him she looked at skylar run she mouthed just before fading to unconciousness
 
In his unconscious state, Kyoya could sense the tension going on around him, and the soft touch of tails as they engulfed him.
 
Skylar's shadows began attacking the guards and the girl ran forwards, kneeling down beside the two. She looked around a bit and then looked down at them. "What do we do? I mean, I can't just leave you two..." She looked up, the shadows rising to block all entrances and exits to the courtyard.​
 
Guards using handheld super powered flashlights began trying to break through the shadows.
 
in a semi coniciuos state she spoke softly "take the boy and go. ill be fine" she slowly uncovered him from her tails
 
In his unconscious awareness he was able to hear what was being said. Frustration flared up inside him, giving him the strength to wake up. He slowly sat up.

"As if… don't try to take on all this responsibility by yourself… because i won't let you…"
 
Skylar took in a deep breath and then shook her head. "You know what? You two would not survive a minute out there." The shadows would then drop and she took off running towards the exit, darting straight past the guards and going as quickly as she could, knocking people out of the way with her shadows.​
 
Rage filled his eyes.

"So you're just going to leave us here?!"

His voice was a loud roar.
 
Skylar stopped in her tracks and looked back at him for a moment. "You want to follow my lead, go ahead! Just get moving, okay?! But I can push forwards without help!" She flinched when a scientist grabbed her, though she quickly smacked the man away, shuddering when she felt a needle sink into her skin. She quickly took off running once again, clearing a path.
 
Kyoya growled in frustration. He knew she was on a suicide path as she ran off. He had tried to escape the second day he got there, however, when he had made it to the main gate, he was shot down. the gate is too high to scale, and is electrified. The gate itself is extremely thick. He wished her the best as he faced the scientists now forming in front of him.
 
Skylar ran as quickly as she could, bursting through doors, though she was being slowed down and made tired, and she knew it was from whatever had been in the needle. It was as she was reaching the front door that she stumbled and fell over, letting out a small scream as she felt the bits of a tazer dig into her back. She shuddered, her body trembling on the floor as guards and scientists and researchers gathered around to make sure she was secured.​
 
He couldn't put up much of a fight in his weakened state. They quickly over powered him, not even nothing to use the tazer. They chained his hands behind his back. Because he unable to walk any more because his body was so weak, one of the scientists picked him up and slung him over their shoulder. They began to walk towards the gate where they would take him to the punishment cell.
 
A blindfold was quickly tied over her eyes and she whimpered loudly, the girl hefted up. Her hands were chained behind her back and she was pushed along, knowing she was being led straight to the holding cells for those that had to be punished.​
 
Kyoya was roughly thrown into the cell in his half conscious state. Pain jarred his body has he hit the stone floor. The cell was damp and dark. Unable to sit up because his hands were bound, he lay there in wait for the agony to come.
 
jasmine was chained and carried out. as she regained conciousness she bit into the guards neck. as the guard fell to the ground she jumped over the over guard and kicked in the back of the head. another guard rushed her witha tazer she took his knife with her mouth and began to fight with it. after a few minutes she was surrounded but she would not give up her fight. thats when she heard that sound. it was the sound of a rifle the trang hit her in the back of the neck and she immediate fell to the floor where the guards began to kick her with their heavy boots. she was then thrown into a cell she sensed the presence of someone else but couldnt see because the bruises on her face had swollen up.
 
Kyoya heard the cell door open again. He was sure that they were coming for him. However, he heard another body slump to the ground. In a hoarse voice he called out to the person as the guards left. He wanted to see who it was but his body was too weak to move.
 
Skylar flinched as she was dragged along and then eventually tossed into a cell, shivering lightly and pulling herself up to her feet, walking until she ran into a wall, which she then followed so she could curl up in a corner of the cell, rocking back and forth.
 
jasmine knew that voice "kyoya" she whimpered she rolled over on her tails to cushion the floor
 
He recognized the voice. He opened his eyes. They seemed to glow in the darkness of the cell. He could faintly make out her figure through his hazy vision. He tried to sit up letting out a quiet groan.
