Agatha Brandt

Agatha was pleased, seeing as the rest of the team had her backed up. Boss ended up giving in, not before throwing a warning to Anri. "Stay behind and cover us if something dangerous happens", she theorized Alec hadn't had many run-ins with child soldiers, if at all. Shame the first one has already a few screws loose, not that Agatha blamed Anri, who knows what the hell has she gone through. Another one joined the party, donning a very interesting weapon and armor, and more notably, she was very intimate with Alec. The thought of a guy like Alec with a lady like the one he was kissing was something moderately amusing, but she kept that to herself, only letting out a quiet giggle.

With not much to pack, as she was already prepared, so she went straight to the hangar. The ship approached the planet without a hitch. As they got closer to their landing spot, she was able to admire the dangerous beauty of Night City. Clearly something was off despite being so dazzling on the surface, at least her guts told her so. That's when the song started playing. She wasn't sure why exactly, but the song felt very catchy to her, making her even rhythmically tap with her foot. Once they landed, it was clear her gut feeling was on point. It was like seeing some pre-war large cities.

Amidst the discussion on how to proceed with gathering resources, something else called Agatha's attention. Along with the gunshots and the distant bustling part of the city. A metal container was smashed into pieces, and someone was discussing with a group, a small one, but Agatha couldn't discern how small. "Looks like there's someone in trouble just around that corner, a group jumping a woman". She pointed a finger towards where she heard the ruckus. "I hope you don't mind me lending a hand, boss. To protect and serve, and all that jazz" she joked. Whether he said yes or no, she was going.

She reached inside her jacket, and pulled her pistol as she sprinted to the corner, where she halted. She managed to get the last parts of the conversation well, confirming who she needed to take care of. Four heavily modified humans, or so she assumed, they were too modified to accurately tell. Agatha took a deep breath and then went on a full sprint again, and yet thanks to her clothing, she made no noise. She snuck up on one of them and performed a modified scissor takedown. Going straight for the head as its brutally smashed into the concrete.

Not wasting a moment, Agatha pushed herself off the ground, and while on her knees, shot twice towards the assailant closest to the lady, which had stopped and turned to check on their buddy. She took the chance to take one down by shooting them once in the head and once in the chest, where their heart would be. She hoped the girl would manage to escape with the distraction Agatha just created, or worst case scenario, that she can take them on now that the numerical advantage was no longer in these freaks' side.

Cans and Noise
Anri

When the woman in unique armor addressed Anri, she assumed that she wanted her to do something. Turns out, she did! She wanted Anri to watch her bounce a metal cup off the "wrecks", as she called them. Anri gave a bright smile in response. She always liked it when people showed off what they can do. It was a nice way to connect while having fun. Unfortunately for the woman, she had neglected to remember that she had a different change of clothes, which affected her kicking power, launching the metal cup in a way she had not intended.

Anri, being herself, was about to go and get it.

"I'll ge-"

That's when Idan spoke of the distant noises as potentially dangerous, and the other woman in unique armor followed them to deal with it. The order that Alec had given were activated. Instead of running after the can with vim and vigor, the little girl stood up straight, lost expression in her face, and quickly and quietly followed Agatha, taking her rifle in hand as she did.

While the older female ran up towards the fight, Anri set up an overwatch position behind one of the wrecked vehicles. From there, the Obedient personality assessed the opponents.

'Metal prosthetics, metal protrusions, and parts of false-looking skin that is likely more metal. Weapons fit into the ranged category, and use projectiles at higher speeds than a modified crossbow. Enemies were previously focused on a single target, but will be aware once the ally finishes throwing one of them onto the ground. Objective: provide cover for ally. Begin.'

By the time her ally had begun getting back up, Anri had switched her rifle to the Lightning Rune, and loaded a small rock. She aimed it towards the battle, and sent a lightning bolt in the direction of the battle. She aimed for one of the remaining enemies, but her shot was meant to cover for the others than to kill. It would likely hit, but the goal was to split their attention further, not to kill.

David Ludlow

Throughout the trip on the shuttle, David was checking over his gear in the duffle bag. Such as the KS-23 Shotgun, he had seen it lying around in the armory from their new base so to speak, the firearm had dislocated the shoulder of the unprepared person firing it. He had picked it up and went to the range and found out why that had happened. The gun was a six-gauge that could handle a four-gauge shell. Apparently, Russians had some bad Anti-Air barrels and used those to make this line of guns.

It was perfect for David, the supersoldier could handle the gun’s monstrous recoil, and the payoff of massive damage done to the ballistic dummies made it a keeper. Taking it to the workshop and his own modifications made for quite the deadly weapon.

Of course, he had his large knife on him, ammo for the gun in his coat’s pockets and in little side slots along the gun. The duffle bag held a change of clothes, tools to fix up clothing and the gun just in case.

Looking out the viewport didn’t yield a reaction from him beyond an acknowledging grunt. It was another Earth, nothing too fancy. Even when they were landing, Alec picking up the radio signals and music filled the cabin. It wasn’t that bad of a song, but it wasn’t to his particular liking.

The sights of the ‘Night City’ were too much for him in his opinion. He was used to the wonders of nature and the quietness of it. Not this neon aberration that was a violation of the senses. It got worse when they landed and they all got out. The smell was the first thing to hit him. It was the stench of industrialization. Anri’s comment about no tracks got a small sentence out of him. “We’re in the midst of a city, no tracks are going to be found beyond rats. If there are any.” He said to her, he had plenty of experience hunting, nearly fifty years of it.

Abby’s trick was neat but David’s attention was focused on looking around, trying to see if there were any potential threats or ideas to get what they needed. Gunshots kept ringing out, distance varying between each one along with duration. “Idan’s idea is good. Best to be prepared to do both in case folks around here aren’t exactly charitable.” He warned with an additional. “Place like this doesn’t get this way if there were charitable folks running around en masse.” And speaking of the devil, one of their own ran off to save someone from being jumped. Potentially putting the group at risk in terms of gaining notoriety.

“Dammit.” He growled mostly to himself as he got his shotgun out and followed Agatha and Anri, putting himself between the young child during the fight, essentially acting as a bigger target in case their enemy fought back. Speaking of which, they looked to be freakishly modified cyborgs, caring little for the cost of flesh. Anri’s electric stone thing gave him enough time to outpace the cybernetic arms raising their guns at him.

He aimed and fired. The weapon discharged a slug round into the chest of the one aiming at him. The six gauge slug blowing a giant hole in the cyborg and sending his ass flying. Another shot vaporized the head of another and he had to hold off to avoid friendly fire so he just maintained a decent zero on the rest of the enemies.
