The Evrensel Conflict -- Chapter 2.2: Oblivion

Dusk
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dusk decided that it would be a good idea to at least investigate the man's house. If the "vampire" had nothing to hide, then the job would be quick and simple, without the need for killing. If they did find evidence, Dusk had no idea what to do. He decided it would be best to follow Luer's instructions if it came to it.
The two took off for the house, closely following the map. Dusk had no idea how to use a map, since he had never used one before. It was a good thing Luer was better at reading the map than he was. The map took them through several districts in the city. The difference between the districts wasn't that noticeable, since they all gave Dusk strange looks as he hunched over Luer and stared at the map. Eventually, the two made it to the house of the so called "vampire." Dusk let Luer knock on the door since he, unlike Dusk, possessed speech and might have been able to talk to them. After Luer's attempts at the door, Dusk decided to knock on it too. When Dusk knocked on the door a loud snap could be heard as the hinges of the door broke. The door itself didn't fair well either, since it now had a large hole in it where Dusk had put his fist. Pieces of the door splintered everywhere, eventually the door clattered to the ground inside the house. Dusk was a little startled by his strength, it hadn't been this hard to control his strength before. He turned to Luer and gestured for him to go first.

Caught on the mountain pass from Skyrim to Cyrodil the Spriggan remembered warmer places there. The Nord lands inspired so many memories for the Spriggan and so very many voices. Disoriented by the din unable to focus she may have moved quickly overland but little for stealth. There were warm places beyond the mountains ringing Skyrim and once on their windward side stood still to enjoy it as the sun went down. The light inside her dying with the sun. However she'd been seen by border patrols ever on the watch for bandits resuming her march south. In the pitch dark with empty eyes walking toward the most visible thing in her vision the grand tower of the imperial city.

Guards with mages in tow soon set upon her with quick aggression identifying her as a Spriggan. A creature with a particular displeasure toward man rightfully presumed hostile so far from Skyrim. Though herself an odd one bearing her own armor and sword. Even with her mind clearing her words were still confused. Though when she had no response to the Spriggan tongue and called them bandits it gave the mages pause. A bow erupting from her arm to open fire with arrows pulled from holes in her body gave the guards pause. However she was only one and as the guards approached under shields and the mages seared her with fire. Screaming for them to stop instead sent them to a different tactic.

A paralysis spell wracked her body the sap in her blood holding fast. The small hunting party thus opted to put her to chains instead of the sword. Her an anomaly showing some amount of restraint and a curious grasp of the common tongue. They hadn't the occasion to grab her bow however as it folded into her body with the paralysis of her form. Her sword and armor they did remove, putting it into their cart. Atop it a metal cage within which a partly burnt Spriggan slowly healed her charred surface.

Denied the earth the raspy noises at first ones of suffering as the Spriggan did not breathe. Though still chained to the bars she managed to stand as they neared and passed Aleswell. Then forts full of men at arms. Well on their way past Weye to the Arcane University. A hollow eye socket reading through a fabric hole where chains could reach.

Without free hands she bent back to loudly bang her head against the metal a raspy yell from the covered cage, "No! NO! Thieves! Bandits! Stole the sun! Steal the Spriggan! Just want to be warm! Let me go! I hear them say guilty! Guilty!"

Luer nodded as Seridur finished his explanation and handed him a map- he was going to keep this for their sake. "I make no promises…" He muttered. He was not sure they would pull off what was being asked of them, but they would see to try regardless. He turned then, and with Dusk at his heel left the building to seek out this 'vampire's home. Thankfully the map was not too difficult to follow like he feared originally. Despite the writing being a bit difficult to decipher, it was easy enough to match up the words.

Once they arrived, he wanted to make sure before doing anything rash that this man truly was a vampire, and ideally, he just wanted to talk to him first. So he did the first thing he thought of: he knocked on the door. After minute or two, there was no answer, and he knocked once more. No answer yet again. "Well… guess he is not here." He muttered to himself. What should they do then…?

He looked to Dusk when the creature moved to knock as well. It seemed he underestimated his own strength though as the knock turned into a beating the poor door would not survive. It was brought down with a crash, Luer cringing somewhat. He did not want to break into the home. He glanced to Dusk and rose a brow as the other motioned him to go first. "Why me??" He complained, turning to peer inside through the open door though. He sighed and nodded. "Not what I had in mind but I guess if it will give us some clues…" He commented, moving to step inside the home carefully.

Delsin Rowe

Delsin gave his cup of mead a look of curiosity, but the prospect of accidentally insulting the barkeep by looking at the drinks he made with a curious look, and besides. If this was some dream or whatever, this might be the only chance to do this. So when the knight and the other dude held their drinks up for a toast, Delsin lifted his as well. Clinking the drinks together, each taking a drink from the cups of mead. The knight downing his with no trouble and in fact let out a loud burp and a laugh with it.

So, maybe it wasn't as strong or unpleasant as Delsin thought.

Oh how he was wrong. Not on the pleasant side, the taste of the drink was perhaps the new greatest thing to have ever been tasted by him, as his normal alcoholic drinks were a bit on the crappy side of things. But the kick that came with it came out of left field and Delsin had to fight to keep from coughing up a storm.

His small task completed, Delsin gave a smile before saying in a slight wheezing voice. "That's strong. Love the taste though, what's in it?" He was curious as when he got back to the shared apartment back in Seattle once this whole thing was over, he could make this drink for Eugene and Abigail. Granted, he was going to have to do a lot of trial and error as well as doing all of the necessary steps to make mead.

KorraBanner001B.jpg

Now Korra steps out of the inn, looking around herself to get her orientation. She blinks as she instinctively moves to one side when she hears someone near her, uttering softly "oh sorry". Though she didn't actually see anyone. But she looks in the direction she was told to look… and lo and behold she sees a structure. Korra hops down the steps and starts down the path as she hears someone wish her luck. Her blue eyes look in the direction of the voice… seeing just a shovel working in the garden. That's a little creepy. "uh… thanks.." she says, absently waving towards the person that she can't see.

She's going to have a headache for the whole day at this rate.

She gets to the edge of the hill, her brows furrowed in thought. She could just slide down, that would be fun. Or she could launch herself up and use Firebending to descend slowly. That would look cool. Or… instead of thinking about how to get style points, he can just get down the hill. A slow deep breath is drawn in as she slides her feet shoulder length apart, her knees bending slightly. She suddenly draws her fist down to slam into the ground, causing a faint rumble. She then draws that fist up and forward, and then down quickly again as she slams her foot into the ground. With slightly stronger rumble, a set of stone stairs are suddenly protruding from the side of the hill. She stands to her full height once more, a smug smile on her lips as she now proceeds down the steps.

She walks towards the fort, noticing how run down it is. It's barely a fort, in her opinion. It's maybe the ruins of a fort, not even a lookout tower really. As she gets closer, she takes in the landscape also. The 'fort' is right on the edge of a lake. Korra feels a small smirk upon her lips. If she had to rough someone up, looks like she'll have plenty of options to go about it.

She now gets to the perimeter of the fort, and she draws in a breath to shout to whoever might be here. But she doesn't get the chance. She gets a blank look on her features as someone tells her to go away. "Go away?" she utters softly as she looks up towards the building. She did think that she was sent on a wild rabaroo chase… but there's definitely someone home. Korra doesn't like to be told things like 'go away', especially by people in shoddy homes like this.

Now she thinks about how to go about this. Elevate herself up to whoever is up there with an earth tower? Use the water to make a mini water tornado to elevate her? Just launch herself with Firebending? But once more… she reminds herself she's on something of a mission. And her patience is stretched thin as it is. And she's terribly worried about Naga. So she strides right through the entrance of the fort, her eyes quickly locating a barely there stairwell going upwards. She sees no one… or nothing really… else, so that must be where she has to head. And so she does, taking the stairs 2 at a time to ascend more quickly. She keeps herself aware of things around her, half expecting a trap. Or perhaps half hoping there's a trap.

She gets to the top of the stairwell and is about to go into a little speech/rant. But she stops as she doesn't see anyone at first. But… she sees a book floating. Books don't do that. She squints a little, and then looks around to see if there's anything else here. She can barely make out a person holding the book. If this is a trap, he's going to be in for one heck of a surprise. When he speaks, she makes a dismissive motion and strides towards him confidently.

"Okay I don't know what that means. And I don't care." In response to the 'Oblivion take you' thing. She stops about 10 feet from him, her eyes still scanning left to right as she speaks to him, then focusing on the outline of a man. "If you're" OH CRAP what was the name they said!? Anacarc? Caractacus? Anecdote? Ah! "the person responsible for making people invisible in that town" she motions in the general direction of Aleswell "then you're gonna undo it. They're not real thrilled with it. So use whatever weird Bending or whatever to fix it." Her tone a stern one.

While she couldn't see the wizard's face, he did get really confused by what she was saying. Both for the bending part, and the mention of the town up the hill. "Bending?... What on earth are you--" Then suddenly it hit him. "Oh.... Really? Everyone in town? That must have been what all the shouting was about a few weeks ago. I'm afraid I was engrossed in an experiment that required my full attention. You see, in order to increase the efficacy of the spell, the radius was likely to approach the...." The wizard would see the confusion on Korra's face, and sighed. "Never mind. I don't mean to bore you." His book then opened back up, and his outline turned his back towards the young avatar, continuing to read as if she wasn't there anymore. "You can tell them not to worry, the effect is not actually permanent It should wear off eventually.... Well... in a year or two. Maybe a bit more. There's no way to be absolutely sure. That's the exciting thing about basic research!" She would see some faint movements of hand gestures as his voice became enthusiastic about the spell.

Gray Fox/Frank Jaeger

As Frank went back into the area known as the Bloodworks, the visor opening up allowing his face to be once more revealed to open air. His face remained unmoved as he was congratulated on his win, as well as being rewarded in what appeared to be gold coins. A decent amount too, hell someone could maybe last a good while on these coins. Although they were next to worthless in Frank's eyes, maybe the others could use them to get goods or other things important to get.

But just as he was about to ask for when another match was going to be ready, someone spoke out to him regarding where did he learn to fight like that. A flash of the man, the legendary Big Boss and his skill in CQC that would later be taught to the members of Foxhound and especially him when he joined the organization and eventually the man's dream of Outer Haven.

"Simple CQC." He said. It was a half truth, CQC wasn't simple. The fighting style employed different moves from various martial arts into one, while mixing in weapons and making the overall focus on how to quickly dispatch your opponent in a natural fluid manner. Hard to get a proper grip on, but once someone did, they were a force to be reckoned with. Hell, he was positive that Big Boss or even The Boss could take him on now and still win due to their mastery of the style. To them, he was a mere novice that even with cybernetics would still lose in a heartbeat.

His gaze would linger on the two, sizing them up and working out why exactly they were talking to him. Potential fans? Unlikely, he just started and no amount of skill or quickness would get fans this early. That and the boy was wearing a raiment with similar colors as the others and himself. So the first one was out. A mentor and his student? Possible, as the boy was young looking and the lizard man looked to be the type to coach youth in this way of life. For some sort of gain, making Frank remember the harsh days of being a child soldier. Where many others like him were sent out to fight and die for someone else's gain than their own.

The mere memory made Frank's temper rear its ugly head. But was quickly shoved back down into submission and the usual numbness that was his being. Deciding to be straight forward, he would ask. "What brings you here?"

His question was quickly ursurped by one inquiry by the young boy. Frank's gaze narrowed. "I assume you're in the same predicament as well.....?" Frank's suspicion was raised due to the whole ordeal in the hellscape of the city when the robots came. It was a 50/50 if this person was related to the robots that attacked them, or was just another poor individual to get roped into this mess. Frank hoped it was the latter....

@AIM Leader Wade @Lady White

Yeah, because Isaac looks exactly like a robot!

It's so hard to tell! But, Isaac's question did raise Shakira's brow. The whole time he knew Isaac, the kid had explained to him the different aspects of his world, and a bit about his past..... Okay, a lot about his past, most of which Shakira didn't actually listen to, since he tended to go on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on about it. And didn't take the hint that Shakira didn't really need all that information, because usually when Isaac finished speaking, he was two mead bottles deep. And too tipsy to pay attention to the words the other person was saying to him. What mattered was the kid knew how to fight, and he could kick the yellow team's ass, and Shakira could make a good septim off it. Add in how Isaac gave him his fight payout as well, and this whole set up was a money train. The kid was naive, and Shakira liked that.

But. It seemed this Grey Fox lad is also from another universe. And seemed a bit more aware of his situation. Shakira spoke up before Isaac could. "You're not from his world either, I'm guessing." He moved in front of Isaac, making Frank pay attention to him. "Definitely not any type of soldier I've seen before..... And you're certainly not in it for the money." He overheard some of what Owyn and Fox talked about, and Fox was a different breed of warrior compared to the others here. He had a cold stare, like the soul had been sucked out his body. A walking zombie with his intelligence in tact. "How'd you get here?" He ignored Grey's question entirely, and focused back on him.

- Artis Solum, Twilight Warrior - Cyrodiil, The Bloated Float Inn -

The talk of other realms from Callintus fascinated Artis, even though the land of what he called the "Daedra" was quite horrific just from the little he spoke of it. Apparently it drove people mad at the sight of it, yet it still garnered at least a morbid curiosity from Artis, just to see what the fuss is about, as it were.

Nevertheless, the youth clinked his mug with the others, bearing a smile on his face and took a hearty gulp. The taste took him off-guard at first, part of it wasn't unusual as Artis had drunk alcohol in the past, but Mead was certainly it's own beast. An unknown vegetation was it's main quality with the peculiar addition of watermelon following it up, but all of it was very pleasant to him, leading to him taking another gulp. "Ooh, now this I like!" He spoke with satisfaction and vigor, then laughed with Callintus, not expecting a belch so loud from such a knightly figure.

"That, didn't even touch the sides, did it?" Artis inquired with a chuckle. "Perhaps another, friend?" He added with a smile and another gulp of his drink, finishing it off.

@AIM Leader Wade @Nero Kunivas

"Recipe for this type of mead's been kept secret by the brewery. Afraid all we know is there is a bit of Mellon used in it." Ormil informed Delsin, as he poured another mug or two for Callintus and Artis. The night was young, and the old knight was certainly a heavy drinker, because he kept ordering more and more drinks for his two new buddies, and by the time an hour had passed, while Callintus was somewhat still mentally aware of his surroundings, even with seven drinks in his system, Delsin and Artis..... Ohhhhhh, those two poor bastards would be completely out of it. Blackout drunk would be the best word to describe them, because at some point Callintus changed their drinks to something much stronger, and in the land of Cyrodiil, they made sure their drinks tasted as sweet as wine, and got you spread legged drunk. When drink eight came in, Callintus was singing a drinking song, as the three of them were all by themselves, with Ormil to keep filling their mugs.

"We're merry men of Skyrim
So sturdy and so stout
When the day is done
When it's time for fun
We'll drink and sing and shout

You weak livered milk drinkers
Can let your throats run dry
Cause there's just one drink
That we will sink
Until the day we die

Drinking mead in the halls of Whiterun
The maidens and the men
We swig our brew
Until we spew
Then we fill our mugs again

You can keep your filthy Skooma
It makes our bellies bleed
Cause when we raise our flagon
To another dead dragon
There is just one drink we need
Nord mead!
Nord mead!

Chug a mug of mead
And another mug of mead
Chug another mug of mead
Till you fall down
Chug a mug of mead
And another mug of mead
Chug another mug of mead, warrior

After the long hard days
Of hunting and of war
Our throats are tired and thirsty
And our bodies drenched in gore

But we won't waste our evenings
Feeling tired and feeling spent
We perk right up when we breathe in
That wholesome honey scent

That Cyrodilic Brandy
Too fruity for these tongues
You can keep your fancy alto wine
It tastes like horker dung!

Balmora Blue tastes great to you
But here we like it plain
Just fill my mug
With the mighty jug
Of honey, heart and grain

Drinking mead in the halls of Whiterun
The maidens and the men
We swig our brew
Until we spew
Then we fill our mugs again

You can keep your filthy Skooma
It makes our bellies bleed
Cause when we raise our flagon
To another dead dragon
There is just one drink we need
Nord mead!
Nord mead!
Nord mead!

Chug a mug of mead
And another mug of mead
Chug another mug of mead
Till you fall down (Nord mead!)
Chug a mug of mead
And another mug of mead
Chug another mug of mead, warrior!"

Afterwords, Callintus let out another massively loud, roaring laugh. "You realize you're drinking Cyrodiil mead, right?" Ormil asked, since they were nowhere near Skyrim, and this seemed like a terrible song to sing here. "The drinking songs in Cyrodiil are terrible!" Callintus replied back.

Considering Dusk broke the door down in broad daylight, they would need to work fast, in case a city guard passed by and wondered why a door to someone's house was broken down, and why an archer and a demon were scuraging around in someone's stuff. This was the inside of Jenseric's house.

It seemed quite baron inside, with small particles of dust lying on the tables. There was silverware on the table, a bottle or two of unopened beer, the scroll on the coffee table was a blank parchment, nothing written on it. To the right was the stairs leading up to where the bedroom would be, and at the far end of the right side on the ground floor, behind the staircase, was a door leading to the basement. Also on the table was a book, titled 'Aevar Stone-Singer' on the book's spin, but on top of that book was a letter. It was an opened envelope, and inside it was a piece of paper.

"Four-on-four? That's fair. And while I am a hero, I don't always do fair."

Ben slammed his Omnitrix down, triggering a transformation as his body shrunk in size, before a silicon-based armour substituted his skin, and his flesh turned into sound.

"Echo Echo!"

The short being started his offensive out by jumping forward and replicating his body, creating a circle around the other three.

"Wall. Of. Sound!"

Heavy impact soundwaves pushed the opponents backwards, giving everyone a chance at a preemptive strike. Each and every Echo Echo, as it was called, took a leap at one single guy, kicking and punching him at various spots one by one.

Meanwhile, Ben's bird, Dingo, still remaining an ally, struck the very same guy from the back of the neck even thought the Echo Echoes were probably doing enough.

@AIM Leader Wade
Our pals Arthur, Corrin, Azura and Ben were surrounded by seven men in total, with knifes at hand, cloaked in red hoods, and a craving for blood in their eyes. When Arthur realized they were surrounded, he turned to face the one closest to him. "We don't mean to cause trouble, just let us be." He tried to reason, throwing his hands up.

"Hand over the woman." One of them said, pointing to Azura

"Don't think she's your type, fella." Arthur rebuttled.

"Then we'll gut you out in the open for all to see."

"You ain't the first to threaten me, boy. Or the most clever about it."

"The girl's an unknown. As well the rest of you. You shouldn't be here." Another red hooded figured stated.

"Oh, trust us, we know that." Arthur's hand slowly went down to his revolver, which the closest red hooded man saw. Not taking a chance, he lunged at Arthur's chest with the knife, but the outlaw's draw was faster; smacking the butt of his gun into the head of his assailant, then firing a round into the back of his skull while he staggered. Spinning around quickly, he fired four more shots into each of the red hoods. Three dropped dead, one was still alive but wounded, and Arthur needed to reload quickly. Two more hooded figures were still standing, and one launched at Ben, while the other did so with Arthur as he reloaded.

@AIM Leader Wade

"Hand over the woman."

A bandit spoke as he pointed towards Azura.

Azura nervously stepped back a small bit, retreating behind the others for safety. She knew what t was like to be kidnapped. Hoshido had done it, Nohr had done it. She was an asset, one that could be easily traded, one that was wanted for her strange past and abilities.

"I'm not going." She said stoically, gripping onto her spear/staff.

Then it all went south. Arthur had begun shooting, Ben had transformed.

Corrin moved into action.

Towards the one running at Arthur, Corrin would leap forward, sword in hand, going to attack the one cultist who had run towards Arthur. Arthur had helped them, and, although they had just met, Corrin would still help him, and Ben was still just a child, even if he could defend himself.

"No one hurts my friends!" She shouted a, frankly generic but still fitting, battle cry as she prepared to stab the hooded figure with Yato. They had come to take Azura from her, and then had tried to attack them when she wouldn't go. Corrin usually wouldn't kill, but as this world was more hostile and she had no ties to anyone her, she would do what it took to protect the group she was with.

Plus, if they needed to interrogate someone, the wounded one was still alive. Hopefully if Ben hadn't killed them.

Azura meanwhile would began a dance with her spear, intending to magically back up and strengthen the party.

The hooded figure coming right at Arthur managed to block Corrin's attack within a split second, just managing to block it, before staggering back from how powerful the strike was. With Ben's little bird's help, the other attacker was distracted by the constantly blows to the head, giving Arthur enough time to reload, but also Ben's alien duplicates enough time to circle around them, and fire one their shouty voices of echo-yness..... Professional writer here.

The two figures, along with the injured third, would be pushed back by the echoing screech; all of them covering their ears from such a noise. With the much needed few seconds added, Arthur finished reloading, and fired two rounds into the heads of the remaining attackers, both falling down to the ground as piles of flesh now. They fought off whoever they were, and the only one remaining was the injured guy, who Arthur quickly went over to. He was facing away from the group while bunched up into a ball, but Arthur quickly turned him around to face him. "Who the hell are--" Arthur began to ask, but the red hooded man's head bobbed once his body turned, and Arthur looked down to see a knife stuck into his heart, one hand still gripping the knife. "Dammit!" He muttered to himself, moving away from the body.

"You... are having trouble with food? Why didn't you say something like that earlier?" asked Alistia, her ears wriggling a bit in both confusion and a bit of laughter before a glow seemed to erupt from her body and, less than a second later, faded away. Alistia was still standing there but she was different. Gone were the white and red robes that designated her as a member of the Conjurers, the White Mage, a powerful healer, and in their place was a cooking smock and a decent-looking skillet along with culnarian's knife. She quickly flipped the knife around, catching it in mid-air, before smirking and looking to the doctor.

"I'm not the best for certain; but I do have some training in cooking. Along with a lot of other things. Feels so weird to no longer hear the earth after so long again." she remarked idly before the glow came forth from her body again and, as it faded, she was standing in front of him dressed in a prim, proper, and exceptionally stylish tuxedo. It wasn't the kind of suit one would wear to a formal occasion. Rather, it was the sort of tuxedo a true gentlewoman would wear. The kind that, by the mere act of wearing it, showed a level of refinement not found within the common Miqo'te. She smiled, the now-present monocle on her face glinting in the sunlight before she drew, from a scabbard at her side, a beautiful and elegant katana that gave a small 'Kupo!' as it came forth. She quickly slashed it through the air causing a trail of cherry blossom petals to form behind it.

"Not to mention I can do a bunch more!"

The light came back and faded, revealing the white and red robes once again. "I'm a woman of many talents; Doctor. I'm certain you'll be quite surprised at just the sheer number of things I can help you out with."

And with that the gunshots rang out. Alistia's ears swung around and flattened against her head as she practically spun about. "Though it will have to wait a bit! Sounds like healing is needed!" she cried out as she took off at a full sprint towards the sound of gunfire, the hexagonal glow of protective magic signifying the return of her Protect spell to ward herself from a gunshot.

The doctor was quick to make a run for the district, jogging as fast as he could. The only person in their group with guns was Arthur, and he was hopeful he didn't just kill people. Opening the door to the other district, he found his concerned was warranted. "What the..." He said with worry, walking over to Arthur. "What did you do!" He asked while approaching.

"I didn't do anything, they came out and attacked us!" He pointed over to Corrin, Azura and Ben, the Doctor quickly seeing them and realizing they weren't from this world at all. "They wanted her," he pointed to Azura, "and the rest of us gone, this was self defense!" The Doctor rubbed his hands through his hair, trying to think up what to do. Before he could come up with an answer, the guards finally arrived. They outnumbered them, and the Doctor found it suspicious that they arrived after he did, though raised his hands up and signaled the others to do so. Thes were quite slow to act it seems, and The Doctor wasn't going to take chances with them. He also took note that the whole district seemed abandoned, unlike the others, like it was purposefully empty. The guards encircled them like the red hoods did, swords drawn, while one inspected the bodies "What happened here?" He asked the group, with Arthur answering.

"Self defense, these men attacked me and tried kidnapping this woman." The cowboy explained. The guard, however, strangely didn't look to buy it. He stood up and walked over to Arthur, looking at his gun. ".... Strange weapon you have." He commented. "How can we be sure you didn't just attack them first?"

"Tell me you didn't just say that." Arthur told him, putting down his hands and getting right close to the guard, who pushed Arthur away. "I say we don't have all the proof is all, and if you're going to be so defensive, we'll happily take you into questioning to make sure what you say is the truth." Either the guards were this incompetent, or someone paid them off. The Doctor, and even Arthur was leaning towards the latter, because of how 'convenient' everything was. If they got put in jail cells, that meant another group of red hoods could grab Azura without their interference.

"We aren't here to cause trouble." The Doctor chimed in, "We'll come with you to do any paper work or interview you need." He looked over to Arthur, his eyes staring daggers at the outlaw, telling him to cooperate. They couldn't do anything right now, they were trapped in a corner, and he didn't want any more death to occur. They just needed to bide their time for an escape. However, before they could even follow the Imperials, gunshots suddenly went off above their heads. Everyone ducked down, and the guards backed away. A man was firing from across the road, wielding a strange looking assault rifle, and it was..... Alec?

Out of everyone in the group, only Alistia would recognize him, as she was in the last group with him. But he was in another universe though, how the hell did he show up here? When the gunfire stopped, Alec charged after the guards, letting out a running shout to scare them off. The guards ran off, making a break for down the road, and when Alec was next to the group, he fired off a few more shots. The doctor nearly knocked the gun out his hands, making him stop the shooting. "What are you doing?!" He shouted, rage filling his eyes.

"They're blanks, don't worry! They're harmless if they hit a person, it's used on movie sets." Alec shouted back. "..... Hi Ali." He waved to her when he noticed the mage behind the group. Noticing, the Doctor put the two together quickly, "Are you--"

"Here," Alec handed The Doctor a picture, which looked like it was taken from an old 80s instant camera. It was the picture of an Argonian, the same one with Isaac. "Find this guy, he's called Shakira, you'll find him at the arena. Whatever you do, convince him to find Jauffre and bring him something called the 'Amulet of Kings.' This world's in big trouble, and only Shakira knows where the Amulet is."

"But--" Again, the Doctor would be cut off. "Don't think just go! I'll distract the guards, and whatever you do, don't get caught by any more in the city, and leave as fast as you can, they could be anywhere here." Alec pointed to the red hooded figures laying on the ground, and began backing off. "Who are they?" The Doctor tried to ask.

"No idea, but they want the amulet and Azura, get going!...." As he turned to fun towards where the guards ran off, he quick turned back around and shouted, "And please come get me!" This already freaked Alec out, he didn't want to spend the night in a jail cell if the guards caught him. If they did'n't want to behead him first. And like that, Alec ran off. The Doctor looked down to the picture one more time, before saying, "C'mon!" to everyone, quickly leading the group in a jog away from the scene.

"What the hell was that?!" Arthur asked, completely confused by what happened. "He's from the future," The doctor answered, "Sent here to help us out with whatever's happening, probably by me." Wasn't the first time someone from his future came to warn his past self. It was better off not knowing your future, but if the situation called for it, the future could certainly help the past.

Alistia looked to the three newcomers, then the bodies surrounding her. The protection incantation wasn't even a conscious thought at this point as the hexagonal wards shimmered around Corrin, Azura, and Ben before fading to invisibility. Her attention, rather, was on the dead bodies. She looked over them, nudging one with her foot, wishing sorely that The Echo would kick in right now to give her a glimpse of the past. No dice as to be expected; it never seemed to come when she wanted it. With a sigh she stepped away, offering a hand to Corrin. "My name is Alistia Mit'Leona." she said in greetings. Then she turned her head to the doctor.

"If that person was sent by you I'd be very concerned. I mean, I'm no expert, the most I've seen is some foes who dabbled a bit in time magic, but there's got to be a really good reason why."

She then looked to Corrin, Azura, and Ben. "What of you three? How much do you three know of time travel?" she asked as they jogged away. However, once they had made it a bit of the ways away she stopped as she turned around, her eyes closing as the glow of magic surrounded her body and her staff glowed with a bright light. She brought it around in a full circle and, suddenly, a massive wall of earth rose up behind them to block the street.

Then she opened her eyes up. "That should slow them down a bit; but... there are others whom can wield the earth in this land. Far off; but present. I can just barely feel them... Sorry. This land can just barely feel them, but they are present. We'd best hurry."

"Well, time travel is one of my powers, so there's that," Echo Echo, merging back into one being, replies to Alistia, "and if you need to hurry, I've got just the thing."

Echo Echo slapped the emblem on his chest as he began to transcend into a new form.

Ia9Himq.png

"Ultimate Echo Echo. Well everyone, we're hurrying."

Ultimate Echo Echo, as it was called, began to grab onto everyone running as it began to accelerate at extreme speeds, not taking into account nausea induction. At that speed, anyone barricading or cornering them would probably be swept away be the sheer speeds.

"Well, technically, I have four things that can hurry, but we can save that topic for another time."

The pet bird was on Ultimate Echo Echo's chest, resting on it as it felt sheer inertia.

KorraBanner001B.jpg
Korra's eyes squint a little as she stares in the direction she can hear the voice coming from. He's invisible too… did he… want to make everyone else invisible so he didn't feel bad? And when he starts to speak of the radius of spells and experiments, indeed she does start to get a little lost. It really does annoy her when people start to try and sound smart around her.

Her eyes dart towards the book as it opens, and now she can see the open pages. So if he's reading it… his back is to her now. She takes a small step forward, hoping his blabbing would somehow result in a solution. But…

"Wait… a year or two?" She says in a very stern tone. She shakes her head quickly, as she grumbles to herself. "No way, ya invisible jerk." He seems perfectly happy with what is going on with his spell, how it seems to be a success. But she isn't so thrilled. In her estimation, the sooner she helps those people the sooner she can get answers. Or so she would presume.

She takes a big step away from him, and she slams her foot into the stone floor. With a soft grunt she thrusts her fist upwards, and the floor itself trembles a moment. A column of stone shoots up from the floor just in front of the invisible wizard, only big enough to hit his book. In fact that's her intention, to just slam his book right out of his hands as a show of her power. Well a small part of her power. The column remains, about 5 feet high, as she relaxes her stance. She points in his direction as she speaks in angrily, her other hand in a fist.

"I said I would help those people, and that's what I'm going to do. So you're going to fix this right now, or we'll see if I can spot the black and blue marks I'm about to lay on ya, chump." She now stands slowly, and she cracks her knuckles as she glares at him. "I don't care if you wanna stay like that, but I'm not letting those innocent people remain invisible."

Gray Fox/Frank Jaeger

Frank gaze would lock onto the lizard-man stepping in front of the boy. The person in question asking his own question about Frank's arrival here. The question did make him even more wary. 'Deflection, and quickly redirecting attention, could this man be hiding something?' The paranoid voice in his head brought to the forefront. A thought that unlike the rest was held in the spotlight as Frank pondered the next course of action. As what if the man before him was indeed connected with the robots from before and the line of questioning was to oust the others and himself.

Or maybe it was just paranoia talking and was trying to make him do something he'd regret.

So to spite the paranoid side of himself, he reassured himself with the thought of if this man was indeed connected with the robots. He wouldn't live past the hour. Frank would see to that himself. Otherwise, answering his query shouldn't be that much harm. "I was brought here by a blue police box...." The sentence didn't sound dumb until he spoke it. But how was he to explain something he couldn't care less about, much less know anything about. Part of him wish that the annoying man in the suit was here to explain the whole thing.

His attention was refocused on the boy though. "And I assume the boy is with you?"

Delsin Rowe

Things got better. At least to Delsin's drunk mind. He was having a good time, and the people he was drinking with were also having a good time. He was going to have a hangover for sure. But it was a welcome price for fun. "Awww. That sucks." Is what he attempted to say after a while, but it came out slurred and stuttered as he tried to talk past the alcohol. And failing badly.

Eventually he lost all sense of what he was doing and fell into the depth of blackout drunkenness.

He would attempt to tell jokes, but would end up flubbing words and at one point flat out saying "corking" during one of the jokes then falling into laughter that only stopped after a few minutes.

Delsin hopefully would have one of the others, especially the knight to prevent him from doing something stupid while intoxicated. As he was going to be quickly be approaching that level very soon if this was kept up...

She now stands slowly, and she cracks her knuckles as she glares at him. "I don't care if you wanna stay like that, but I'm not letting those innocent people remain invisible."

When Korra's stone column knocked away the wizard's book, it went flying upwards and out the broken ceiling, vanishing the higher it went. A couple inches forward more, the column would've struck the wizard right in the head, and likely either knocked him out cold, or shattered his skull. "AH!" The wizard shouted, jumping backwards, before listening further to Korra's words. This woman was insane! She could literally bend the ancient stone that made this old castle, and she was trying to murder him with it! "Alright, alright! If it will get everyone to leave me alone, fine. I did work on a counter-spell last week... if I can just put my hand to it..." He spoke with a clear worried, yet still aggravated tone, only helping her out of fear she would bring this castle down upon both their heads. As he spoke, Korra would see his outline move away and walk upstairs to search for the scroll, returning after a couple minutes of searching in his room on floor above them.

"Here." He pulled out Korra's hand, and handed her a recently written scroll, rolled up and tied with some string. "Stand in the center of town, to make sure you get everyone. Oh, and make sure.... never mind. Should be fine. Now, please, just--" Before he could finish, the floor beneath them, the one made from stones falling apart, which Korra used to bend her column, gave way without warning. The wizard fell to the ground below, and the whole second floor balcony with him. Dust filled the place, and when it settled, the wizard was groaning in pain, as his lower back and tailbone landed on the collapsed floor. ".... please..... LEAAAAVE!~" He shouted at Korra with a raspy voice. When Korra returned to the town, the center was actually the garden area, where two workers were pulling out grown fruits and vegetables, and replanting seeds for the next harvest. Again, completely invisible, with the tools and vegetables floating in mid air if you didn't know the context. The words said a bunch of gibberish, but the wizard said if she read it aloud in the center, it would fix the invisibility issue.

Luer sighed inwardly, looking around the home they entered. He admittedly had very little interest in this man, so snooping around his home and things was not exactly what he wanted to be doing right now. But to appease Seridur he sucked in a breath and huffed it out as he moved into the home further, taking note to the stairs- he was not about to go down them - and the lack thereof of anything more interesting. An empty scroll and a book he had no idea what even was supposed to be did not seem of import either.

However, he walked to the table to examine the only thing that did appear to be of use; the letter. He just hoped he could read it. At this point he feared even the script in this place might differ from that of which he was familiar with. He did not want to risk stealing anything either. Right now, his main objective was read the letter and get out of here before someone starts asking questions. He really did not want to get into trouble in an unfamiliar place like this.

Korra's eyes narrow as the invisible man speaks, and she takes a step towards him. She got rid of his book, and she was clearly more than willing to do more than that with her little show of power. She folds her arms over chest as he scurries up the stairs, her eyes straining to keep him in her line of sight.

She huffs softly to herself as she looks around the room, a small frown upon her features. Lots of books and beakers… and some food. She considers taking some, being a little hungry herself. A fact she hadn't realized until now.

Korra hears him coming down the steps, and she looks in his general direction as her arms fall slowly to her sides. Her eyes fall on the seeming floating scroll, and she reaches out to grasp it. She turns it in her hand to inspect it, still frowning to herself. She looks towards him as he starts to issue his warning… but her attention suddenly is diverted. She looks down, feeling faint trembles at her feet. The floor abruptly crumbles, and Korra leaps forward to land on a table as it falls also. She kind of surfs it down a few feet, then leaps from it and bounds off of a falling piece of the floor. She lands in a roll away from the building, coming to a stop in a low crouch, holding the scroll to her chest.

She winces as she stands, looking at the collapsed building. Well now she feels bad… she didn't expect the structural integrity to be so compromised from what she did. She starts towards the debris, wholly intent on helping him. But she winces once more as she hears his voice. She nods and takes a few steps back as she calls out. "ooookay…. sorry!" She yells as she turns "I'm sorry! I'll be back to check on ya!" Which she is sure makes him just super excited.

Korra jogs back to the town and gets to its center, as best as he can figure. She starts to untie the scroll as she calls out "Hey everyone! I have the thing that'll undo the thing!" She drops the string and unrolls the scroll. Taking a deep breath in, she is about to start reading. But… she blinks as she actually sees the words. "Uh…" she says softly. She actually turns the scroll upside down, to see if it makes more sense. But alas… no such luck. "okay… so… uh…. Yiva.. ani… amaz…" she huffs and falls silent as she now scowls, her fingers clenching the edges of the parchment. She turns and starts to pace as she reads the scroll to herself, over and over. Her lips move wordlessly, as if practicing.

Almost a half hour passes, and she calls out again. "Okay! Here we go again!" She clears her throat and stops in her tracks, and she shouts out the words. And in the back of her mind… she vows that if this is a trick she's going to track down that invisible jerk and send him into orbit. "Yivani amazwi …. endiwathethayo ngokuzwakalayo! Oku …… kungakhohlisa, kodwa ….kunokusebenza nje! Enye indlela yokufumana!" She falls silent, still holding up the scroll, and she looks around to see if anything has changed. Or if she summoned a dragon or something.

"I am with him, yes. He told me that there was a way to return home..."

He then explained what Shakira explained to him regarding the rumour about an area of Tamriel, that it was said to be a place where worlds connected. A portal that could take people to various realms, and that if there was any chance of sending him back home, it was that. He had also explained his predicament regarding what happened to him, how he ended up in this world, and the events leading up to this point.

- Artis Solum, the Drunk - Cyrodiil, The Bloated Float Inn -

Without even so much as a peep of protest, Artis indulged in the constant flow of Mead and later, something stronger provided by Callintus unbeknownst to him of course. Artis wasn't a frequent heavy drinker, but considering the circumstances, he was increasingly lenient toward the "why the hell not?" line of thinking and soon after, he was feeling the effects of his overindulgence, losing almost all sense and drunkenly attempting to follow along with Callintus's song once he had gotten the barest grasp of its melody, but the entire attempt was a hilarious failure.

"Sky...rim, sure sounds, *hiccup* like a grrrreat place...!" Artis was only just able to speak his words, albeit slurred and distorted, interrupted by a hiccup that jolted him upward. "Ugh..." He groaned out, but soon began laughing uncontrollably and joyfully, for no conceivable reason as he felt himself lapsing in consciousness intermittently.

Normally, he would care less about another fool being exploited. But when it came to kids, no matter how skilled in skill they were, Frank had an issue. Needless to say, Frank was a bit angry. "I believe there is a certain line of answers that the boy now needs from you."

Or if she summoned a dragon or something.

As she spoke the final words, Korra would suddenly be engulfed by a massive purple cloud. And by that, I mean the purple cloud shot out from the scroll into her face, then drizzled down her body, and it had a weird minty smell to it. Not like an actual mint, the type of mint flavor the dentist would use when cleaning your teeth, it's minty, but it isn't pleasant at all. But, it seemed the scroll would work. When Korra could see again, the purple fog wrapped around the townsfolks bodies and slowly remade them visible again. The cloud washed over the ground and spread across all of Aleswell, before dissipating once it reached the limits. A whole crowd of people, possibly the whole town, was now cured of invisibility, and once the purple fog vanished, they cheered on Korra; clapping and whistling at her, while some hugged each other that this misery was now over.

It seemed the wizard had kept to his word with the scroll, and once again, Korra was the hero of the day. The bartender that Korra had encountered approached her in the garden, and quickly grabbed her hand to shake it rapidly. "Thank you, thank you! I can't tell you how good it feels to be able to see myself again!" He told her. Though for Korra, one big revelation from everyone finally being visible again was that not all of them were human. The bartender himself was a Dark Elf, just an inch or two shorter than her, and the others were either human, or another race of Elves, like wood or high elves. "My sisters on the other hand... I wouldn't mind if they had stayed invisible! Ha haha!" He continued. "Ahhh, me... Friend, you are welcome at the Aleswell Inn anytime. Free of charge." Before Korra could finally ask her questions about where she was, the bartender had something in his hand, which he showed to her. It looked like some sort of touch pad with a play button in the center of it. On it was a sticky note saying, 'press the triangle.'

"Your friend came by while you were dealing with Ancotar. He stopped by the inn asking for you, but when I said where you were, he just told me to hand this to you. It would, as he said, 'answer your questions.'" When she pressed the play button, a video would start. It was The Doctor! But not the one in this universe, it was the other one. The Bow-tie one. "Hello Korra!" He said, speaking through the camera. "This is a prerecorded message, so I can't actually talk to you, but know that what I'm about to say is the truth, even if it sounds quite ridiculous, and trust me, it will, but considering you can bend all four elements and have access to a place called 'The Spirit Realm,' world traveling might not sound too far fetched."

"It's the spirit world!" A female voice corrected. While Korra hadn't met her, it sounded like Amy's.

"In any case! The world you're currently in isn't the one you're from, you've been teleported between universes. We have an idea of who did this and why, but that's for later, because this message is from the future, your future, and we can't give away too much information, or else it could disrupt the flow of time in a way that could badly damage it, but understand that you aren't alone on this world. You and plenty of others were teleported here, and you need to find them, because this world, and the multiverse itself, is in danger. Head along the road going out of town and try finding the others who are also on this planet, they'll be heading towards a city called Kvatch. I know you're confused and have more questions, but that's all I can give you at the moment. Stay smart, and look out for danger. Good luck." With a smile from the Doctor, the video ended.

Shakira remained stone faced as Frank spoke, but mentally he he quick to realize Frank had a way of traveling out of this world. He looked the Grey Fox right in the eyes, matching the ninja's anger towards him with aggravation. Shakira had no problem with the kid doing whatever he so desired, nor restricted him just to the arena. Isaac was a born fighter, and clearly had a gift of magic with him, so why try doing something else he was unfamiliar with? Fighting was his bread and butter. Shakira had no qualms about it. Heartless? Absolutely, but at the end of the day, Isaac was better off with him than by himself in the sewers, fighting rats, mud crabs, and goblins, with no clue of where he was out, or even how to get out. "I think we should ask more questions for you." He retorted. "Transportation for him out of here? Seems a bit far fetched, considering means of traveling between worlds is impossible. Why trust the word of a stranger like you?" If Isaac had a way off this world, Shakira wouldn't stop him. He made plenty of money already, and he certainly wasn't trying to hold the kid hostage. Let him leave if he wanted to.

Shakira only cared for the gold more than the boy. Before Fox and Shakira could continue with their passive aggressiveness towards the other, Owyn returned back. "Hey!" He shouted, getting all three's attention. "I've spoke to the arena management. They're a bit uneasy with me allowing you," he pointed to Fox, "fighting with that extra layer of armor, and the yellow team's putting up a fuss about it. They think it's a form of cheating They're causing me more headaches then management at this point."

"Told you it would be a hassle." Shakira commented. It seemed even before they met, the argoanian wasn't a fan of Fox.

"I did come to an agreement with them to settle this before it gets out of hand. They want him and Isaac against their best team member."

"Why both of them?" Shakira asked.

"Personal request from their best fighter. They'll drop the issue if both of you can beat him."

"He's up three advancements from these two, they're not ready to fight him! It wouldn't be fair at all!"

"Exactly. Matching their best with a cheater to snuff him out." Isaac was good, but he was still new here, only having a few fights. And Fox only had the one. "If you can beat him, they'll allow you to continue, but if he beats you two, then they've eliminated our best upstart, and our newest one, wiping out our competition with them. They call their fighter 'The Red Undead.' Supposedly can't be killed, and everyone we've thrown at him's been beaten."

"I will not allow this!" Shakira interjected again. "This is against all the rules of the arena!" Now he was actually doing something for the benefit of the kid. He was good, but putting him up against guys higher up the totem poll before he was ready was like trying to ski uphill.

"Trust me, management doesn't like it either. But, it's either that, or get all three of you kicked from the arena. And I'm no fan of playing politician to protect you three."

The letter was in English, and it read, "My dearest Roland,

I cannot wait for you to return from Bravil. My heart swells with joy as I know we will once again soon be together. I yearn for you every night that I look beside me in my bed, and you are not there. How I wish I could have taken the journey with you, but I understand that these are dangerous times, and I would only slow you down. When you return, perhaps we should get away from the chaos of the Imperial City. Let's go back to that cabin in the woods. The one where you said we would always be safe from the world. The one where you took me in your arms and sang songs of moonlight and happiness. The one where you said "I love you."

Hurry, my love,

Relfina"

On the table was another letter, this one being the deed to where the cabin was located. Roland had bought the land, and hired carpenters to build the cabin there, and it showed exactly where the cabin was located. When looking at it on the map given to Luer and Dusk, the cabin was located right along the road to where the entrance to the city was. If they followed it, they could find the cabin, and hopefully, Roland himself. They had the information, all they needed to do was get there. And quickly too, as the sounds of some city guards were approaching; their armor clanking against the rocky roads echoing louder as they started to run towards the broken down door.

@AIM Leader Wade @The Wanderer

Callintus couldn't help but laugh at how these two were off their faces. Delsin was barely able to make coherent words, while Artis looked completely off on another world, and his brain had the mead working over the main functions. He was laughing so hard, he was red-faced and nearly tearing up. "Hoooooooo~ You two are the best drinking companions I've had in a while. Cheers!" He said, clanking their mugs together and taking one more gulp for the night. There was no possible way these two would remember what happened next, Callintus pumped them full of drink, that to not blackout was impossible. The two would wake up down below deck, in one of the ships rooms where guests could sleep. Delsin would be on the floor face down, while Artis would be on the bed, holding three empty bottles of mead like a child would a teddy bear. Both of hem would have the worst hangover possible, headache galore, and even a bit sick feeling. Close to vomiting type of sick.

But it wouldn't be because the two were that bad at keeping their drinks down. Something was off about the ship. They could feel it rocking. Like it was out on the water. Ormil had mentioned that the ship barely ever leaves port, so if it was out on the water, why? When they opened up their cabin door, they could see someone in the hallway. A Nord with a steel sword, wearing black leather armor and a shield. He was looking up the staircase, speaking to someone. "No, nothing yet! I tried searching the bedrooms, but both were locked!" Another voice was speaking from up the stairs, but their voice was muffled. "Well that orc bastard isn't of any help! Won't say a damn thing!" The voice up the stairs spoke again, and the Nord ended the conversation with, "Alright." And began walking back over to the bedrooms. He didn't know that Delsin and Artis were in the room, so they had the advantage of stealth, but Callintus was nowhere to be seen.

The last of those very odd words leaves her lips, and she thinks she feels something weird with the parchment. But only for the briefest of moments. And then… she gets a faceful of purple cloud. She drops the scroll immidiately, her hands flailing in front of her as she wrinkles her nose. "Ah it got in my mouth!" She exclaims in a very agitated tone. She continues to flail and steps back, the cloud of lavender dissipating. Her nose still wrinkled with disgust, she is able to not get a look around her. She doesn't feel any different… so that's good. For a moment she had thought she was poisoned or something.

But those thoughts are quickly dissmissed as now people start to come into her view. She finds herself smiling widely as she relaxes a little, her big blue eyes looking all around her as one by one people come back to their visible states. And when that bartender approaches, her eyes widen and she tugs on her hand a little when he grasps it. It isn't a look of disgust on her face, but it's definitely discomfort. What… is he? Is he cursed, or something? She just nods vaguely, speaking in a very soft tone. "uh.. yeah… m'pleasure…" she just stares at the Dark Elf. Discretely she look around as the bartender continues to speak, seeing now that many of them weren't even human. If this isn't the Spirit World… then what the heck is this? Korra is rather practiced at half listening to people around her, since most conversations are boring. So she knows her cue when the bartender laughs, and she looks back to him, laughing also as she nods. "I won't tell them that though. And thanks, I appreciate the free room." Despite the fact she wholly expects never ever ever to be anywhere near here again once she gets things figured out.

She is indeed about to start a line of questions when the bartender holds out the touch pad to her. "Friend?" She says in a curious tone, taking the touch pad. She turns it over in her hand… it doesn't feel like metal or stone… some kind of rubber? She looks at the front again, at the note, and she glances to the bartender. "He said that, huh?" She looks back towards the note, and with a soft sigh she touches the triangle on the screen. "This is glass… I wo-" Her eyes widen as the thing speaks her name, and she lets out a soft yelp as she tosses it away from her. It lands on the ground (not cracking of course), and she draws her arms up and crosses them as she stares at it. Stone from around the touch pad suddenly draw over it into a dome, trapping the touch pad under it. She looks towards the bartender, then towards the touch pad again. It had paused the moment it left her hands. She creeps closer to the small dome, and she drops to her knees. She lowers her upper body down, a small slice of the dome sliding open so she can see inside. The paused screen still glows there in the dark, and Korra narrows her eyes at it. She rears up to sit on her knees, and draws one of her hands over the top of the dome. The stone of the dome slides to one side, and Korra leans forward cautiously to peek in at the touch pad.

With a soft whine in her throat, she bravely reaches in and grabs the touch pad once more. That triangle is back, and now she's staring at the Doctor's frozen face. "Hello?" She says softly. Still sitting on her knees, she pulls the pad closer to herself and shakes it. And then she shakes it again. "Hey… how are you in there?" She turns it over, looking to see if someone is standing on the other side or something. She looks back towards the front, and cautiously pushes the triangle again. As soon as she does, she cringes and turns her head a little, holding the pad away from her. Slowly she looks back to it… hey he knows her name?

She narrows her eyes a little as she sits on her knees there in the dirt listening to the touch pad, a small frown on her lips. "Between universes.." she utters softly to herself. The world is in danger.. and the multiverse… "I don't know where the multiverse is.." she says softly. Not realizing she's of course in it, and always has been. The screen goes black, and she blinks. "Hey, hey wait!" She exclaims loudly. She pushes on the screen, and then again. She actually knocks on it, leaning forward towards it. "hey! I need to know more!" She pauses "please" she adds as an afterthought. Korra shakes the touch pad vigorously, and grumbles with irritation. But she lets out a gasp as the triangle appears, and she presses it immediately. Once more the Doctor appears, and Korra starts to speak right away. "Wait wait who are you? How.. do… you.." her voice drifts off as she realizes he's just repeating the same thing over.

Korra sits back on her heels as she listens to the recording again. "Wait… all 4 elements? I can get to the Spirit World.." Glancing away from the pad, she thinks about that. If this is… goodness this sounds so dumb… if this is from the future, then someday she'll meet this guy and the gal in the background. And by that time she'll have mastered all 4 elements… and probably the Avatar State too! Her eyes widen with excitement and she looks back to the video. "Kvatch." Slowly she pushes herself to her feet "Kvatch Kvatch." The video ends again, and now her hands lower to her sides as she looks along the road. She speaks in a loud tone, her gaze moving back towards the bartender. "Hey, got a bag I can have?" She says with a smile.

Not much time at all passes, and Korra is on her way. Over her shoulder hangs a leather satchel, with the touch pad in it as well as some supplies. Some applies, a potato, some braided bread and a something they called a 'boiled creme treat'. She knows what the other things are… but that last one seems iffy to her. She also took a leather bladder of fresh water, which hangs at her opposite hip. As she gets to the perimeter of the town, she turns and waves to those that were there to give their goodbyes. "See you all soon!" There's a dumb joke there, and maybe she'll point it out later. "And go thank that guy for the cure! And tell him I'm sorry I collapsed his house!" Some of the townsfolk give her an odd look at that last thing.

She makes her way down the road at a good pace, every once in a while repeating in her head the name of the place she's looking for. Kvatch. Kvatch. She takes time to appreciate the flaura around her, there are so many pretty flowers. And many she doesn't recognize. She will have to come back later and study them a little more. When she has time after saving the world and all.

Every few minutes she actually jogs along the path, not really getting all that tired as she does. She's in pretty good shape, after all. There were a few times she kept herself cautious, thinking she was being followed or watched or something. Stay smart, look out for danger. That's what the window man had said. After a few hours she slows her pace from a jog to a swift walk to catch her breath. And as she does… she thinks she hears something ahead. A few big somethings. Her eyes narrow and she goes into a sprint, and then a job to catch up with whatever it is. Eventually coming into view is a small caravan, a small party of people. Looking like they're escorting something in a covered cage. And she catches a sort of banging from under that covering of the cage. She now walks not 30 feet behind the group, and she calls out, a wide smile on her lips. Her tone a casual one, as if just starting a random conversation. "Hey everyone. What's in the cage?"

Their response will determine her response… and while she may look unguarded and vulnerable… her feet and hands (that seem totally relaxed) are postured for defense…

Dusk
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The house that Dusk and Luer busted into didn't look evil in appearance. The room they entered was small, so Dusk's horns gently scraped against the ceiling, causing dust from the roof to gently fall. From what the note said, this so called "vampire" was going to meet a woman outside of town. This person may not be a vampire, but from what the hunters said, he may kill people. It might be even worse if this person killed purely for sport. A familiar anger brimmed inside Dusk's stomach. He tried to push it back down in fear of releasing it. His mind was made up, he had to stop this person. His hands clenched into fists as the two slowly walked out of the house. Dusk couldn't relay his want to luer, so all he could do was point at the map and then into the distance (probably into the wrong direction).

- Artis Solum, the Hungover - Cyrodiil, The Bloated Float Inn: In Motion -

Artis didn't remember passing out after his last drink, hell he didn't remember much of anything, aside from the jolly old time he, Callintus and Delsin were having, but upon waking something did hit him...and hard. A pounding headache, nausea, grogginess...and the ship was rocking, as if it were in motion. This alarmed Artis, as best as he could be alarmed in the state that he was in, who just managed to move the mead bottles he was cuddling without a calamity occurring. While Artis had made it to the bed, it was clear Delsin was not so fortunate, face down and drooling on the floor. Concerned, Artis rushed to Delsin and shook him.

"Delsin? Delsin! Wake up!" He quietly called to him, but the sounds of movement could be heard above him, so he motioned over to the cabin's door, peaking his head out as he listened to a conversation taking place between a dark figure down the hall and someone up the stairs he was calling up to and it only gave Artis reason to dread their current predicament. The men talking were seemingly seeking to pillage the ship and had interrogated the Orc Artis had seen earlier for information, but found no success. Now the hallway bandit had turned around and began walking back in Artis's direction, who had swiftly ducked back into the cabin before the bandit noticed.

Artis then put a hand to the side of his mouth and called out quietly: "Delsin! I don't know if you can hear me, but we've got trouble!" He tried to keep his voice down, but loud enough for only Delsin to hear. Then he took a few moments to think. If the man didn't know Artis and Delsin were down there, then the element of surprise was his to take. So, he summoned Oblivion into his right hand in a flash of darkness and such energies, gripping the Keyblade tightly as he waited behind the door until he heard that the bandit's footsteps were close.

Upon deciding he was close enough, Artis would initiate a surprise attack, intending to silence and subdue the bandit with the Keyblade across his neck in a chokehold and drag him into the cabin with Delsin, then he would do his own interrogation.

If the chokehold failed, Artis would aim to continue subduing the bandit with careful strikes to his head and legs, while lashing out with his hand against the bandits throat to stop his screaming, then would resume dragging him into the cabin.

Regardless, he would demand the following:

"Who are you then, scum?! Where's Ormil? Where's Callintus?! And what the hell is going on?! Talk or it'll only get worse from here, you bastard!" Artis spoke with a quiet venom to his words, trying not to rouse the attention of the upper bandit, but barely containing his anger against his victim.

The banging stops as Korra raises a question. Instead raucous metal chains scrape across the floor to clank something taut. Through a slit one green and bark eye socket peers out to Korra within the bright yellow-white of the sun above. A green rivulet drips from cracks above the eye socket and around the border of that hollow eye.

A voice trembling in spite of a narrowed glare replied before the guards had the chance, "Walker at the end. Free the walker at the end! Thieves, bandits, usurpers! The stars have gone out for guilty that threaten the balance. Aetherius rages against the dying of the light!"

Frustration renewed bark and green root feet brace at the narrow gap between cage floor and tarp. A female scream threatens to deafen the mages nearby with a battle cry backed by the rage of fallen warriors. Guards likely stumbling to gather their wits as much as their weapons the battle cry running roughshod toward their focus. Clatters of steel along the bars on each side shudder a thunderous clang toward the front. Creaking metal teeters a cage forward the cart itself protesting. Loud squeals of wood, metal, and oakflesh hurled spraying sap from the bars as the Spriggan tortures herself and the cage back and forth.
