The Evrensel Conflict -- Chapter 1: The Only Easy Day was Yesterday

- Marcus Blackwood, Blood-Crazed Berserker, "Calm" - Hellish Tower Block, Elevator -

Evidently, Ash had wandered into something he shouldn't have, for he closed the door in a less bombastic fashion than he had opened it. One could only assume he had met an army of these demons with numbers too great for them to defeat. Ash instead decided they should take the elevator and after three minutes had passed since he called it, the doors opened: It was unlike the elevators Marcus had used to ascend and descend particular areas of Yharnam and beyond, with it lacking a pressure plate and, of course, the large lever to summon it for instead it had a simple button. Still, it would serve its purpose, despite the problems with stuffing seven people, including those like Marcus with large weaponry and stronger, larger bodies.

There would be no time for debate, as an explosion rumbled through the entire tower, Ash hurriedly warned that they needed to leave now in his own way, with everyone complying in short order, narrowly squeezing into the elevator. Marcus wasn't particularly comfortable in his current position if he was honest, but he knew it could be worse for him, the other Marcus and everyone present, so he didn't raise a complaint, merely shifting as one naturally would to try and get more comfortable.

Ash made a reasonable suggestion in telling Marcus to hoist his currently equipped weapon over his head and thus he did: Taking his currently inactive/un-tricked Blood Saw Blade from his back as carefully as he could and balancing it upon his head, keeping both hands upon the weapon so it didn't fall. "I'd agree, Alicia, but I fear the worst is yet to come. Heed Ash's words and stick together, it's the best we can do. Most of all; Don't panic...that goes to you all. Whatever caused that explosion must be powerful and fearsome, so steel yourselves." Marcus spoke to all present after directly addressing Alicia, keeping his head still as he counted the seconds until the elevator was done descending.

- The Doom Marine/Doom Slayer - Streets, Outside the Tower -

The Spider Man was still unsure how to speak to the Doom Marine, who holstered his Assault Rifle, though in a way, he still approved of his efficacy, albeit hesitantly with a shaken thumbs up: An easily recognizable gesture by the Slayer, who figured Spidey's world must've been similar to his own, maybe with less demons, though Spiderman's subsequent moment of reminiscence made him wonder. Once more, he attempted to begin introductions with the Doom Marine and Mitsuru, but yet again he was interrupted this time by a much larger, more mighty creature than a Baron of Hell can even dream of being.

Initially, the Slayer braced to fight as he turned to face the window, but fortunately he decided against it. The monster was in flight and this building was precarious and vulnerable, not to mention the great power it seemed to possess and demonstrated swiftly, as if to answer his questions immediately on how strong it was: The dragon-demon thing breathed fire, forcing action to be taken...by the Spider Man, who dove out of the window, sending webs from his wrists toward Mitsuru and the Marine, dragging them out along with him.

The heavier Doom Marine would land first in a three-point landing, tearing the web off of his armour with his free hand, then he would motion to catch Mitsuru. If she needed it, he would do so and set her down, brushing dust off her shoulder nonchalantly. If she didn't, he would still clear her shoulder and nod at her, but either would lead to him walking to Spiderman, pulling at his right forearm armour as to straighten it and flex his right hand slowly, cracking the joints...and patting him lightly on the shoulder with his left hand, or as lightly as the Doom Slayer could, deciding to give him a thumbs up with the free hand when his attention was gathered.

@AIM Leader Wade @Silvir @Minerva

Noting that his sword was pointed at Trigger's face, Alken squirmed his arm upward, nudging it downwards. "Sorry," he spoke the word tacitly and quickly, trying to remain quiet and not rock the boat.

Well, that one guy thinks I'm a dick, and I'm in a cramped elevator. Today sucks. Ash's sarcasm wasn't lost on the SOLDIER. In the moment, he'd been mildly offended, but he decided not to make an issue of it. That respect still held, but he wasn't particularly thrilled with his company anymore. Eh. Not everyone in life will think highly of me; might as well feed my spirit by taking the high road. He was thankful that the elevator didn't break under their combined weight; he prided himself in being rather svelte, but his weaponry and armor weren't exactly helpful.

The high road sucks. I'm still mad. I'm gonna say something. I'll start with, "Y'know what?" and then I'll roast the shit out of him. I'll figure something out as I'm talking. Freestyle verbal smackdown in three, two, His better nature winning out, he rolled his eyes and reconsidered. ...Nah. Who wants to hear an argument in a cramped elevator. Besides, it'd be vindictive, and I don't really care. Searching his soul for a moment, Alken decided he indeed didn't care, and was glad he didn't make an ass of himself by starting an argument.

Having succeeded in his inner struggle, Alken was free to feel cramped with his peace of mind intact.

Spidy was watching as the Marine grabbed Mitsuru while they both fell, and since he was a heavier lad, he was falling faster than Peter. "Crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrap!" Was all he was shouted as the two were falling to a rather horrifying death. But he was quick to work, as he webbed himself towards a large falling piece of debris near him, and shot off it with both feet once he landed on it; flying past Misturu and the Doom Marine. With his body as straight as an arrow, and his arms out in front, he fired off as many webs as he could in rapid succession to create a web big and strong enough to support all three of them by the time they landed.

Meanwhile, at the floor level of the building, a possessed worker was eating away at his co-worker, when suddenly the elevator door went 'ding.' As the monstrous figure looked up to see the elevator light suddenly come on, it stood up to see who was behind the door. A sawed off double barreled shotgun, aimed right for its head, the moment the doors slowly opened wide. Before it could shout at the man behind the gun, both rounds went off in a blaze of violent glory, as the possessed's head became as gooey as pudding. The body fell onto its knees first, then backwards. "Alright, let's go!" Ash yelled to everyone, opening up both barrels to let the shells fly out. The lobby was mostly empty, except for a few possessed zombies, but considering who they were, it wasn't hard picking them off.

When they got closer to the front doors, they could see the shadow of the massive web itself. "The hell?" Ash said first, Alec following closely from behind. When everyone was outside, they could see Spidy, Doomy, and Misturu-y falling quickly, and it was only a matter of time before they reached the ground. "Comeoncomeoncomeoncomeon!!!" Peter shouted, working with as much webbing as he could. The web itself was so solid, you couldn't see the sun through it, and Peter landed first. His weight was barely enough to make too big a dent, but then came Doom-man himself. And, ohhh, thank god he landed a couple inches away from Peter, who's eyes widened in fear of being crushed by the big guy. His added weight, and the amount of falling they did, the web suddenly got a lot deeper for all three of them.

Too much so. It broke in half, and out came all three of them. Spider-man landed on his front with his arms protecting his chest, while Doom Marine landed with Mitsuru in his arms. Both looked okay. A big heavy sigh of relief was the first words that came out after a few grunts of pain. Standing up, it was nothing he hadn't dealt with before, just a couple bruises. Nothing serious. He though Doom Marine was gonna kill him, see he walked over to the much smaller hero, and cracked his knuckles. Then he patted him on the shoulder, nearly bending Peter in half. "OW!.... Thanks." He said, giving him a thumbs up back.

"......... Uhhhh." Alec spoke up from behind the three, getting their attention. Both groups were now aware of each other. "..... You guys okay?" He asked.

"Um, yep. Should be." Spidy replied.

"........... Wait........ What?" Alec was quick to realize who Spider-man was. Didn't he exist in?........ Well, from the webbing, it was clearly not a cosplayer. Sooooooooooo..... They had Spider-man in their group now!...... Okay! "Are you?..... Spider-man?"

"Uh, yep." Was all he said. "You're.... Not gonna try killing us, are you?"

Alec looked over to Ash, who had his gun aimed right for Spider-man's head. He quickly pushed it away. "He's friendly!" Alec yelled.

"You can never be too sure. Trust me, I've dealt with demons friendlier looking than him. Sexier too." Ash replied giving a grimacing stare to Peter, who's big white eyes were wide and confused looking. "Yeah, he's a demon, that's why he saved those two." Alec pointed to Mitsuru and Doom Marine.

".... Fair enough." Ash replied, putting away the gun. Before the other two could aquatinted themselves with the others, another loud roar came from above. It was that damn fire dragon again, this time it was circling the building, blowing fire into the windows; causing huge shards of glass to come falling down. Seems some of the demons above were giving the dragon trouble, as fireballs were coming out the building to the dragon itself. Before long, the dragon flew off away from the building, before suddenly turning back around, and flying full force at the building.

The dragon had flown right into the building itself, and as you'd imagine, there was lot's of explosions and flames going off. Then a couple minutes went by before something else happened. Something a lot more worrying. Where the dragon flew through, which was a third of the building, was starting to sage. Now that everyone was the ground, the building was finally collapsing.

"Oh no." Spidy said quietly, as everyone was sure to notice what was about to happen. "Everybody run!" He shouted. In front of the building was a very big set of stairs, and when you reached the end of them, there was the road. Destroyed cars were all over the place, with possessed souls coming out of the shadows and cracks to feast, thanks to loud noise the building was making. Alec did his best to avoid them, jumping over car hoods, and even running on top of them to avoid being bitten, while Ash tried to make his shouts count. Two shotgun shells weren't exactly enough to clear a way forward from an incoming building about to fall on you.

Spidy himself did his best to help keep them away, mostly by webbing them to cars so they wouldn't get in the way of the more defenseless ones within the group. As fast as they ran though, the building was now starting to collapse in the direction they were heading, and the zombies were blocking any paths they had to run in the opposite direction. Even if they avoided the crash, the shock-wave was gonna be big enough to shatter enough organs and bones in your body to have you bleed to death internally, no less send you flying.

They were trapped, and it looked like doom was approaching. But, SOMEHOW, either a god or deity was looking after them, or maybe enough of their luck was combined into one big super-luck combo, someone came out from nowhere to help them. Two women, one with a little wolf-bat next to her, the other a dark skinned woman, both suddenly came flying around the corner of the alleyway next to them, one using the air to fly, the other using the earth to skate towards them. When both girls were in the group, within seconds they had made a massive pyramid dome around everyone, big enough to hold them, and thick enough to withstand the building. Before anyone had a chance to ask what the hell just happened, and where these two came from, BAM!

Everyone would shake intensely, or be pushed down to the ground by the building falling right on top of them. Amy herself, the dark skinned woman, nearly broke her stance from how intense she could feel the building fall down, and her head was drenched in sweat immediately, but if she moved out of place, the pyramid could fail. The rumble only happened for a minute or so, afterwords it went dead silent. Not a peep could be heard outside. Like the world just ended, and everyone was engulfed in darkness.

After five minutes within the pyramid, it was moved up by about 15 feet, in case they were buried under the rubble, before it was brought down. The aftermath was a thick fog of dust, and a destroyed neighborhood. The buildings were gone, cars missing, and the building was all around them. Their platform was the only thing that didn't bury them with everything else.

But, by some miracle, there were others.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Somewhere within that fog covered graveyard that once was a neighborhood of shops, homes, and businesses, someone was laying in the middle of the road, covered in dirt, dust, ash, and god knows what else. He'd appeared within the city only a couple minutes before the building fell, and he ran as fast as he could away from the wreckage before it hit the ground. Unfortunately, he wasn't fast enough, as he found himself being thrown a couple feet away thanks to the massive shock wave. By the time he was regaining his senses, he was starting to cough up a lung.

Dust was in his nose, and as much as he blew it, there was still stuff in there. "*Cough *Cough* Je-sus Christ." Another cough was to follow, as he stood up. He wiped away the dust on his clothing, and looked around at the fog. There was something very wrong with the scenery here. One minute, lusts forests, mountains in the background, and a horse by his side. Now, large buildings, strange vehicles that looked burned and torn apart, and buildings going higher than birds themselves. "Wha' the hell?" He asked himself, looking around. "Hello! Anyone there?!" He shouted out.

Xiao could hear distant rumbling. one of the giant spires were collapsing. she ran on the ground she could feel people running away from there too. no doubt Amy had felt themt horugh her seismic sense too as she switched directions and began rocksurfing towards the building. Xiao letting out a sigh whistled to tell her woldfbat to follow close as she made an air ball and whizzed right after Amy.

Any longer and they would have been late. Landing right besides amy her eyes suddenly glowed white as she entered the avatar state. Following her fellow earthbenders lead she helped to create the giant pyramid to withstand the impact of the building. her poor pet doing some indiana jones shit to not get squashed by the emerging pyramid and get to safety within it.

five misnutes passed and the rumbling stopped and in unison with Amy Xiao brought the pyramid and the chunk of road they were on up several feet before sliding the four faces of the pyramid away to reveal a dusty graveyard that once was a city street.

--------------------------------------------------
Above the city there flew a grey blue feathered being watching from high above what was going on in the city. last thing she remembered was going in for a dive at a human caravan, ready to send those knights back to the castle they came from but now she found herself in a place as bleak as Hellgondo but allot more impressive though. giant spires reaching as high as she could fly without having something try to shoot at her with green glowing arrows.

Flying over once particular place she noticed some of the spires top third crumbling and with a ear shattering crack the thing began to fall. her superior sight let her see that there were people actually running away from there. some shooting and making her ears ring even from this distance that shotgun was hell to listen to. at the rate they were going she knew they would be crushed by the building and she could save only one or two in time. Throwing caution to the wind she flew right down and went for an eagledive to gain speed only to be shut down the moment she got close to a guy wearing red and blue...[spiderman] Stone walls sprung up from all around her almost as if the spirit of earth Gnome herself had sprung a trap. Before she could pull back out the stone walls closed up and she rammed right into one full force. if it wasn't for her silly level of durability she would probably be a dead burd right now. Luckily she got away from that one with a couple bruises only.

Jacket

It was a few days after the latest heist that Jacket had participated in, whom was now laying low after said heist. Bain said it was a requirement til the heat died down for the heisters that had taken part in it, so that way there would be no way of potential capture or a tighter search around businesses or other heist targets. Which can make casing a joint even more difficult than usual.

Jacket didn't care really. The cooldown was almost similar to his former days in Miami. Complete with a dingy apartment room with old carpeting, TV, everything. Hell, it even looked like the room hadn't changed since the eighties. Which was a welcomed comfort to Jacket. He preferred things this way.

Sure, he had a ludacrious amount of money built up from the old days, being a "messenger" for the Dentist, and now the loot from the heists. Money he could use to get a better place of residence. But for some reason, the crappy apartment. The old fashioned neighborhood that it was built in. It calmed Jacket. Which with the added assistance from the copious amount of cigarettes he smoked on the daily, helped him unwind after a heist.

Despite this, he felt like something was wrong. Like something was watching him. For a split second, he thought that his old "friend" was going to pay him a visit. Mock him for being violent. Ask him if he liked to hurt people.

But normally, whenever he visited. The world outside would fade into a technicolored hell-scape that Jacket could barely see through. This feeling, although similar. Felt different. Almost as if something had its eye on him.

But before Jacket could ponder over what this feeling meant. He heard rapid and heavy knocks on his door.

"This is the police! Open this door or we will break it down!" A voice shouted on the other side.

Not immediately obliging, as that would be a poor decision on his part. Jacket quickly got up from the couch, making his way to his closet. Grabbing his almost coveted chicken mask, putting it on. He grabbed whatever weapons he had stored with the mask.

Which wasn't much. Infact, aside from the painted modified Mac-10 named after him. There was a pistol of a low caliber and a claw hammer.

Not the ideal thing to have when a possibly heavily armed S.W.A.T team was seconds away from kicking down his door and shooting up the place. But he made do with far less. Grabbing whatever ammo he had for the firearms, which was also not much. Two clips for the submachine gun and one extra for the handgun. Bracing himself for the inevitable. He couldn't help but bring out his cassette player. Pressing forward a few times before playing a message. Knowing each response and such like muscle memory.

"Do you know what time it is?" A female voice played out before he pressed the stop button. Giving a low chuckle to himself, before putting the item back into his pocket. Soon taking a stance, ready to rush the police on the other side. His plan never came to be, as a bright light blinded him and what felt an explosion knock him off his feet. Slamming him into a wall and into unconsciousness.

The last thing he felt before completely blacking out, was the feeling that he was being literally pulled down by invisible hands.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Jacket came to, part of him was surprised to not wake up in a cell or in the back of an armored vehicle. But instead under what looked like a collapsed wall. The only thing keeping said collapsed wall from squashing him, was a car that had seen better days, propped it up. Giving a tiny bit of breathing room.

Not wanting to remain under a structurally unsecure thing such as that, Jacket began to crawl forward. And the sight that greeted made him pause. Before him was the remains of what looked to be a city in a reddish hell-scape. He thought for a second that the drugged dream he had while in prison of a nuke being dropped by the Russians had in fact come true, and he was now realizing it was all true. Or maybe it was just hell itself. And he had finally been killed by a lucky shot from an officer.

But then, another part of his somewhat sane mind reminded him that if that was the case. Shouldn't he be long dead from exposure to radiation alone? And why wasn't he dressed in prison garb? He still had the clothing he wore, all the way to his chicken mask and bandaged hands. Along with the equipment he had on him when the police were about to swarm into his apartment. And if it was hell. Wouldn't he be tormented by demons or something by now?

It made him wonder what was going on. But he was pulled from his thoughts as he heard someone yell out for others. He couldn't quite see the man, but he was close from the sounds of it. So Jacket stumbled through the fog in an attempt to find the source. Took him a few minutes, but eventually he found the man. The clothing of whom made Jacket pause, as the man looked like he came straight from a Clint Eastwood film.

Then again, he wasn't be one to judge. Just look at him and who he worked with.

Wanting answers for just exactly what in the hell was going on, Jacket made his way over to the man. Taking care to not aim his piece at the cowboy, and of coarse not seem too intimidating. Which would be hard, considering that he was wearing a chicken mask, holding a gun painted like it came out of the mind of a LSD addict from the eighties. But then again, who knows? Maybe he won't be that weird/scary. Pulling out his cassette player. Jacket once again pressed buttons to convey a message.

"Hello! Hola-bzzt-My name is-rrr-Jacket an-rrt-What are your op-brrzt-name?" Jacket hoped that the man understood what the message meant. As these was someone who were not exactly briefed on his cassette player, and weren't civilians being told to stay down.

He was so focused on the group that he was caught off guard when an accented voice behind called out. "Edmund, vriend! Is that you?"

DJ Scully

To say Scully could ever wake up grumpy, would be a very bad lie. But the combination of a headache and drowsiness that were the telltale signs of a drug being taken and was now just coming off of it, could cause the happy go lucky man for once, to be miserable. This was typically why he avoided taking said items. As they were fun and all, but when they wore off, they kinda caused his whole vibe to be thrown off and make him less fun to be around.

But, even he couldn't resist the temptation given by his bestest pal. Foster.

The former day-trader had managed to find some shrooms and weed during their last excursion in Paris, combating the Zed hordes once more. And offered some of the others, including Scully, a helper in unwinding after their shared ordeals and near death experiences. And not wanting to seem like a buzz-kill. He had taken the combined drugs and was on the wildest trip of his life.

From what he could remember, he was in a bank with a ragtag group of people. And they were trying to rob it for some reason.

He couldn't remember much past that. In fact, trying to remember what happened made his head hurt more.

"Foster, this is the last time I let you convince me to take drugs...." The lack of a teasing reply, muffled by a gas mask, caused Scully to look around for once with a somewhat sobered mind. He was in what he assumed to be an old van that looked like someone would kidnap children in.

This wasn't good, as it meant that Scully could be in danger and without backup. Standing up, Scully regretted that decision as he bumped his head. He gave himself a once over to ensure he wasn't left completely screwed here. He had his treasured Desert Eagles on him, with his 9mm handguns on him, along with the welder and Horzine issued healing nanite injector. The thing that made him pause was the fact he didn't have much ammo for the guns, and just enough charges in the "medic-gun" to last about twelve shots before needing to visit a Horzine pod for resupply. Not great odds, but Scully forced himself to look on the bright side. He survived with just his bare hands during a concert when these Zed freaks made their first appearance.

Pushing open the mangled back doors of the van, Scully paused in his tracks at the sight before him. It looked like something very, very, very, very bad happened. Like the kind of bad that looks like a giant nuke was dropped on the city and everything looked like hell was all that was left after the blast. Just from looking at the destruction, Scully just realized just how lucky he was. As the van could've easily been more destroyed, and thus killing him while he was out cold. But as if the luck gods were smiling upon him, he could see two other survivors nearby. Maybe they were another Zed-Killing merc squad hired by Horzine. And this was their latest battleground or something. That had to be it. Maybe they could help him get back to base, and regroup with his friends. Although, it looked like the duo had suffered casualties as it was uncommon for teams to be sent in with just two.

Not wasting a single second, Scully began to walk over to them. Trying to think of what to say as a first impression, Scully goggled covered eyes looked the group over. Each one catching his interest, up until his gaze fell on a somewhat familiar figure with a chicken mask on.

'No, it couldn't be....They said he died..' Scully thought to himself. Changing from a walk to a slow jog. Scully changed destination for the chicken masked man.

Calling out. "Edmund! Vriend! Is that you?!" The masked man turned to Scully, whom held his arms out for a hug. This was truly a happy day, as this meant he was reunited with an old friend, one that was presumed dead. Was strange that Edmund changed his clothing to a varisty jacket and light blue jeans and old sneakers. But, then again. Was understandable. In the Zed killing business. You wanted to change clothes after awhile.

But Scully was slightly confused when the chicken masked man only tilted his head at him. "Uh. That is you, right? Edmund?" The masked man's shaking his head in a 'no' motion caused Scully to back off slightly.

"Oh. Sorry, you just reminded me of my old pal." He said to the man, whom gave a light shrug before turning back to the man, whom looked like a cowboy from a one of those American shows. Then he realized he completely ignored the man. Which caused Scully to mentally slap himself.

"How rude of me! I forgot to introduce myself. I am DJ Scully, please do not call me Mr. Scully. That would be my father!" He said, while giving a very enthusiastic wave to the two. Using one of his favorite ice breaker jokes to hopefully get a chuckle from at least one of the two.

Gray Fox/Frank Jaeger

"Snake, we're not tools of the government or anyone else!"

"Fighting was the only thing......The only thing I was good at.....But at least I fought for what I believed in....."

"Snake...…...Farewell...."

"Foooooooox!"

The voices echoed in his mind. The remnants of the moments before his death at the hands of Metal Gear Rex. Before being crushed into a bloody pulp by the war machine. And for once, he was at peace. Shrouded in the peacefulness of death. Free from the pain of the experiments done to him, and the cybernetic parts that had made up what was left of his body. Free from the guilt of killing Naomi's parents by accident.

Free from everything.

Yet, it seemed as if something did not want this to be his end. As something began to pull what was left of Frank Jaeger, and remake him so he was whole once more. Or at least whole before his death from Metal Gear Rex.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
When Frank opened his eyes, he did not expect to be greeted with the familiar inside of his helmet.

Sitting up, he was further surprised to not find himself inside of a lab or the hanger that Metal Gear Rex had been held. But instead found himself seemingly buried under what appeared to be rubble from a house. He had some room to move around, but from the look of things. He was stuck.

Or at least stuck for a normal human. Frank Jaeger stopped being human when he died on Zanzibar Land and promptly brought back by Dr. Clark for the Patriots damned Genome soldier project.

Bracing himself against the bottom of his rubble prison, he began to push with all of his might against the roof. At first, his efforts bore nothing, however slowly but surely. The roof began to nudge upward, bit by bit until finally he could see the outside world. Edging to the opening, he slid out. Allowing the rubble to settle back to where it was. Now free of that small hole prison. Frank looked at himself. Once again, he saw the familiar exoskeleton. And his left arm still there, despite last remembering it being severed by Rex's laser. Reaching to behind his head, he felt the hilt of the high-frequency blade he had. Turning his attention to the landscape before him, the sight made him consider if this was hell. Although he wasn't a religious person, and that wasn't about to change because of the sight before him.

But at the same time, he believed if there was an afterlife. Hell would be the first thing that he would be sent to. He was sure of it. But if that was the case, wouldn't he be made flesh once more so he could suffer more? Maybe not. As being in this suit was hell enough for him. Opening the visor to feel the wind, all he was greeted with was a numbed sensation. A sure sign that he wasn't free of this.

Looking around for signs of other people, maybe even his old friend and enemy, Snake. But once again, all he was greeted by was a dense fog and smoke from this destroyed city. Until his enhanced hearing picked up on someone yelling. Not doubt a survivor of whatever happened here.

He attempted to activate the stealth camo he had "appropriated" from that foolish scientist. But the only response from the device was a short outburst of sparks and an error message playing in his cybernetic eye. Seems he wasn't going to be able to hide from sight.

But, he wasn't afraid. As he was sure he could handle himself against whoever the voice belonged to, and part of him wasn't afraid to die.

Didn't take him long to find the source of the voice. The owner of which looked like he walked out of an old western movies. He was joined by two other strange looking men. One wearing a chicken mask and the other wearing a ski mask with a skull pattern with odd goggles. Deciding to keep the visor open. As to not be shot immediately. Not that he wouldn't be able to handle a bullet, he just didn't want to eliminate the potential only source of answers around. And appearing to be somewhat human could help settle nerves.

"Who are you, and where am I?" Frank rasped out.

It felt like any other day for the blue haired archer. He was on his way back to Hoshido after finishing a job. He was pleased this time. He succeeded in a job with a decent reward. He would be able to take it easy for a few days before searching for another job. He was looking forward to relaxing for a bit. He did not expect a sudden, blinding green flash in his vision. He stopped walking to close his eyes and cover them as it happened. He could not see for a moment, but he could breathe, sort of. He coughed violently a few times before attempting to see what was causing this sudden pollution of the air. His sight was blocked by a cloudy gray fog.

He pulled the collar of his coat up over the lower half of his face with one hand, fanning the fog away from his eyes to try seeing what just happened. This was so strange. This air was foreign, and not just because of the dirty dust polluting it. Something was off, felt wrong. But he was not sure what. He began to move carefully, hoping to find a cause or source for the odd feeling he had in his stomach. He tripped slightly over a large piece of… something. A rock maybe? He let go of his coat to grab his bow, fearing what may be hiding in this place now by the sounds of what he could hear. Was that growling? He heard a shout too. He did not recognize that voice, and he did not recall anyone being in the vicinity of the once green field he was just traversing. What the hell is going on?

Regardless, he would not get information just looking around in this dusty mess. He paused in his original idea to call back to the voice when an even stranger sound came. It sounded like words, but it was intermittent and distorted. Now that was incredibly odd and he began to wonder just what had happened again. With an arrow nocked and a hesitant deep breath to calm himself, he called out. “Hello!? Who is there?” He did not know everyone, of course, but he did want to know if he was dealing with something or someone that will attack him.

"Am I reaching the Force Recon marine just recovered at Central Park? The wearer of Jacob Hargreave's Nanoshell? Allow me to introduce myself. Karl Ernst Rasch at your service. And you are?"

"They call me - Prophet."

The year was 2023. After a much hard fought battle against the Alien Race known as the Ceph, Alcatraz in the possession of the CryNet Nanosuit successfully completed the mission assigned to him and removed the Ceph threat in New York City. As he exited the Alien Structure, he was contacted by one who called himself Karl Ernst Rasch. Once the transmission hit and he announced himself, he prepared for whatever was in store for him.

Whatever that was however, was an unknown blast of Green Energy. Grabbing his suit with a temporary EMP blast, he fell victim to the surge of unknown energy, and felt his body moving.

Arriving at a new location, he fell to the ground with the flash once again hitting the area. After a few minutes, the suit began to reactivate. "Commencing Reboot Sequence." "Primary Systems Rerouted." "Defibrillator engaged." A voice inside the suit stated as Prophet began to rise up after activating the inbuilt Defibrillator function, regaining vital signs and regaining control of his body after the EMP from the incoming Green Flash. "Cleared to proceed. Warning, vital signs detected. Probability of hostiles: one-hundred percent. Proceed with Caution." "(I see. I've been dropped into an unknown world. Would it be the Ceph responsible for this? Better take caution.) Cloak Engaged." Prophet's body activated the cloaking technology built into the suit and was made completely invisible. Crouching around with his Hammer Pistol, he prepared himself for anything.

"Tactical Options, available." The voice stated as several options appeared for what he had seen. The first option was to gain some high ground and activate his visor to take a look around the area. Performing this, he spotted someone wondering around coughing, most likely due to the amount of dust in the area. "Scanning... Entity unknown." Deciding to put his Hammer away and equipping his SCAR instead, he continued to stay where he was until further action was necessary. "Multiple signatures detected. Multiple entities within unknown parameters. Tactical Options, available." Deciding to see what's exactly going on, he approached the group by exiting Cloak Mode and jumping down from the high ground he was on. Walking towards the group, he began to speak.

"Who are you all and what's going on? Were you all brought here by that flash of Green Light too?"

Alistia groaned as the earthen pyramid fell away. Despite common perceptions and myths, Miqo'te, despite having feline features, weren't really any more 'agile' than normal hyurs. Sure, they were maybe a smidge less likely to fall off a balance beam or something, but it was the active and vigorous lifestyles of the 'feral' Miqo'te that gave them the edge. An edge a 'civilized' one like her did not have... Even if she was the Warrior of Light.

Why did this thought cross her mind? Because as she fled away from the falling building it was the only thought that filled her mind. That certain idiots would have assumed she could easily be vaulting over the destroyed vehicles and darting away into side passages. Had she been of clearer mind she probably would have remembered that an easy way to escape a building falling on you is to NOT try to outrun it but run to the side instead. Having been teleported to a strange world, thrown in with odd people, dealing with voidsent, and everything else did not bring such a clear mind to the fore-front.

Thankfully it was unneeded as the pyramid rose up and Xiao and Rose came to the rescue.

"Thank you both." she said simply enough as she started to look around to the rest of the party to ensure that they were okay. Now that they were outside she could finally flex out a bit. Immediately she started to climb the rubble to try and get to a clearer spot.

"My name's Alistia, by the way. Thank you for the protection. Who are you two? Also, is everyone alright? I've got ample healing to go around if need-be."

Dust settled as the pyramid fell apart to the ground. Trigger sat up, confused at the amount of action he was getting today. In the action he had somehow fallen over under the pyramid. He made sure everything was on him, gun, butterfly knife, body parts, and anything else he could have lost in the process. Trigger’s half-face gas mask filtered out the dust that fell. “So… more people?” he asked as he stood up, carefully pulling out his gun. “Hopefully no more of those zombie looking things are alive” he said as he looked around with his laser pistol.

The area around the group seemed almost untouched by the building from what it seemed. Trigger had never dealt with such destruction before, it was something fresh. He looked down from the platform they were on, only seeing dust and maybe some burning cars. He then looked back up the place where the building originally was, seeing the dragon fly into the city from above. Trigger then looked back to the ground, seeing people dazed from the impact. “Well, I am not going to ask questions because we gotta leave” he said as he slide down into the fog of destruction

Okay, WAY TOO MANY THINGS WERE HAPPENING!

As so many people were suddenly showing up in front of Arthur, who was at first taken aback by the chicken headed man, then got confused by the man with the skull-like bandanna, only to have another a goddamn ninja appear soon after, talking in a rather creepy voice, then a man with a bow and arrow came out the fog, with finally a metallic man jumping down from a wrecked bus, speaking in a robotic voice....... THIS ALL HAPPENED IN LESS THAN A MINUTE!

Every time he tried speaking up to someone, he was interrupted! First, he tried talking to Jacket. "Uh.... Hi... M-My name is--"

Then Scully appeared, acted strange to the chicken man by giving him a hug, then looked over to Arthur to hear his name. "Uhhhh, name's Arthur--"

Then Grey Fox showed up, and asked where he was, and who they were. "Ummmm... I have no clue where I am, mister, but my name's Arth--"

Then Luer appeared, shouting out to see who was there, and appeared ready to fight in case they were all hostile, which.... Admittedly, they all didn't have the friendliest look to them. "Hey, we're over here!" He shouted to the archer, waving his hands. "We mean you no harm! My name's Arthur--"

THEN, out of nowhere, out came Prophet, doing a superhero landing, and looking all stoic as the fog around him blew away thanks to said landing. Before Prophet could finish his question though, a gunshot went off in the air. When everyone looked over, Arthur had his revolver above his head; having fired off a shot. "Are we done gathering around now?!" He shouted to everyone, who was constantly interrupting each other and him. "Good." His voice returned to a normal tone, and he put his gun away.

"Now. My name's Arthur. Arthur Morgan. I have no clue who you people are, where we are, how we got here, and what you're even dressed in." Besides him, everyone looked stupid. Well, compared to his time at least. "But, clearly, you're all in the same boat as me. And considering you haven't tried to kill me or each other yet, that means we're on neutral ground and not looking to start a fight. I don't know any of you, so I can't say whether you're good people or bad, but all that matters is whether or not we'll try to help each other, and figure out the answers to those previously mentioned questions. We all in agreement?"

He paused for a moment to let everyone answer. ".... Good." He stepped forward to Scully, since he knew his name first. "Now, metal-man," he pointed to Prophet as he spoke up. "You came here cause of some green light, right? Did everyone else arrive just before or after the building collapsed?" If they arrived together at the same moment, then that meant whatever happened to them, it wasn't random.

"Hmm." Prophet mumbled to himself as he listened to what Arthur had to say. He looked around everyone and scanned them with his Visor which yielded interesting results in that everyone wasn't hostile, more so confused than anything. "Yeah, we're in agreement. I don't know what you all were doing before all this happened, but I know that I was in the middle of saving New York from an Alien Invasion. Anyways, I believe everyone else here is in agreement that we're not looking for a fight right now."

"Building collapse? I'm pretty sure I only just arrived here so I'm not sure what you're referring to---" "Scanning. Dust origin located. Scans indicate a structure fell approximately ten minutes ago. Dust in atmosphere indicates size of destruction within large parameters." "---Nevermind. Look, what we need to do is find somewhere to hold out until we can figure out where we are and why we're here."

- Marcus Blackwood, Blood-Crazed Berserker, "Calm" - Tower Collapse -

Somehow, the situation escalated even further than before; After they all exited the elevator and Marcus was able to lower his weapon in hand to the side, the group encountered yet more unusual, out of place people who surely had to have been stolen from their worlds just as he and so many others seemingly were. But before much could be said, other than Alec needing to restrain Ash's itchy trigger finger, a massive dragon wreathed in flame flew straight through the Tower and compromised its structure to breaking point, leading it to begin collapsing...with them in its wake.

Marcus wordlessly agreed with Spiderman, following everyone else in a desperate sprint away from the falling Tower. Unfortunately, they found themselves cut off by Zombies and more Demons, along with the building in question now aiming firmly in their direction, promising more devastation. And just when all hope seemed lost, the group found themselves protected by a large shielding barrier, in the shape of a pyramid around them, projected by two particularly fantastical newcomers, arriving just in the nick of time.

After the dust had settled, more and more people arrived, warriors like most present, all attempting to question what in the seven hells was going on in this chaotic place, but all of them kept interrupting Arthur and finally, he reached breaking point, breaking the cacophony of noise with the crack of a revolver shot into the air, silencing everyone present, while potentially scaring a few of them in the process. Marcus internally was a little thankful, for the constant arrivals and interruptions were proving to be a little irritating, though DJ Scully's ice-breaker did elicit a chuckle from him.

"Count me in, Arthur. As has been said already, we'll have a greater chance of survival sticking together...and if we have someone on hand to project life-saving barriers at a moments notice, of course."
Marcus spoke, adding his taking into account of the earlier newcomers who saved their skins mere moments ago, though it felt like hours with how chaotic things became. "On that note, you two have my eternal gratitude." He added toward said saviors, then looked to the Doom Slayer, who caught his attention.

- The Doom Marine/Doom Slayer - Tower Collapse -

The pyramid barrier was an impressive feat, it had to be said, but Arthur wasn't alone in his annoyance at the constant new arrivals. It had become too crowded, in spite of the power that each person possessed, such a large amount of people would become hard to manage. Though it was no fault of anyone's, only that of the ones who had orchestrated this madness in the first place, plucking them from their worlds in a flash of green.

Arthur's gunshot prompted immediate action from the Doom Marine, who drew his EMG Sidearm and pointed at Arthur instinctively, wondering for an instant if they had been betrayed. Though once he saw the gun was aimed in the air and Arthur clearly looked more than perturbed with all the noise and interruptions, the Marine lowered and holstered the pistol, shaking his head in disapproval, but he understood the frustration.

The only interesting thing at present now was the one called Prophet, who possessed an extremely advanced suit of armour, leading the Marine to wonder how he could get one of those...it would certainly make his job easier, if it was any good that is.

Marcus was overwhelmed. So many characters were here, right in front of him - not cosplayed, not imitation, but real, flesh-and-blood people. And creatures. He's long since knew that the Foundation were in possession of some sort of item(s) that allowed for reality and fiction to mix, but this... this is on another level. To put simply, this shouldn't be possible, even in a world full of the impossible.

Which is mostly why he kept quiet, mesmerized and in awe of the presence of these great beings, so much so that even the building's admittedly inevitable collapse wasn't able to shake his observations, and only the revolver shot was able to jolt him out of his trance. He hurriedly scribbled down a few notes and such, mainly involving how fictional realities could potentially exist parallel to baseline reality - well, as baseline as this whole situation could get - as the others talked.

=======================================================================================================================

"'The Kell's Scourge'?" Anta asked, her central eye fixed on Kingpin-22's helmet. The Titan glanced at her from under his helmet.

"Yes."

"Alright..." His Ghost pulled back a little, facing the front of the cockpit. Outside the jumpship, five other ships raced alongside their own, rapidly approaching a blue-and-green planet. Earth. "And according to this Ada-1... we're to infiltrate the Fallen-held section of the City, locate the vault and neutralize all hostile forces."

"Yes."

If a one-eyed, floating autonomous drone had arms, Anta would've thrown them up dramatically like a human would. "You're just running errands for her!"

"I'm not. It's a valuable location. Plus, the reward's good."

"Right, you keep telling yourself that." Anta muttered. "We're coming out of jump - inertia dampeners firing-"

A flash of green light enveloped the ship. When the intense glow disappeared, their ship were already descending through the clouds.

"That wasn't supposed to happen." Anta flew around the cockpit in little circles, checking dials and equipment readings like a Vex Goblin without a head. "Strange. All readings normal. This ship is perfectly functional. But our coordinates..."

"...shouldn't exist." Kingpin finished for her. The Titan's previously relaxed pose had turned urgent, he sat up in the pilot seat, shoulders no longer slouching, eyes focused on the windshield.

They broke through the clouds and descended into hell.

The city below was burning. Fire, smoke and dark clouds choked the sky as the jumpship deftly avoided pieces of debris and the occasional gunfire, dropping lower and lower towards the surface. After repeated reassurance that no, this isn't the Last City and the Red Legion hasn't come back in force, Kingpin focused his gaze on something.

"One o' clock. Creature."

Anta followed his gaze. There it is - flying slowly over the roofs, a great grey-and-blue bird-like creature soared about, looking this way and that. Before they could do anything, however, it dove suddenly - directly into a falling building. The Ghost made a "oohh" noise at the impact, but despite the entire building falling down on top of it, it seemed to be okay.

"I'm scanning heat sigs. A bunch of them. There's people down there, over the other way, not too far." Anta said. "Armed, but don't look hostile. I'm also reading weird energy signatures and exotic materials. A bunch of those... shouldn't exist." Then, "Oh, and some of them are dressed funny."

"I'm going to take a look." Kingpin rose from the seat. "Cloak the ship, keep it nearby. Transmat us down there, keep yourself hidden. Gun."

Anta materialized the Ace of Spades into his right hand. Sticking it deftly to the magnetic holster on his lower back, he nodded at his Ghost. A white flash after, he was in midair, entering freefall.

Activating his jump jets a few meters before impacting the ground, he lowered himself to the floor a short distance away from the group. From the looks of it, they're still talking about something, but there was no heated arguments. He decided to cut in.

"Excuse me." He began. "Sorry to interrupt. Is any of you with the Vanguard?"

Too much. There was way too much happening right now. Luer tried to keep track but it was difficult. There were so many people suddenly too. He followed Arthur’s call and wave to head to him, since he seemed like a reasonably calm man amongst the chaos. Then that gunshot went off and Luer flinched, covering his ear with his right hand and backing up a step. His bow was held in his left hand, the arrow he readied kept in place with his thumb lowered in front of him for now. He could hardly hear Arthur after that shot though -so much for the calm one- with his ears ringing as loud as they were. Damn that hurt.

Once things got quiet and Arthur spoke again Luer offered a nod as he stopped near the man. He missed the first half of what Arthur said due to the ringing in his ears but he gave a half bow to the oddly dressed man. “I am willing to help, Sir Arthur. My name is Luer Lastez.” He introduced, so at least they could call him by name. He glanced over himself for a moment. He did not think he was that oddly dressed… but looking at the others here, everyone was out of place by an obvious margin just from their attire alone…

He glanced to the others before focusing on Arthur. “Yes, that green light appeared and blinded me on my way back to an inn. Next thing I know I am here… collapse?” He asked. He did not feel it necessary to share the name of his destination before this. A collapse of a building though? Could that be what caused the storm of dust and all this rubble? His brows creased for a moment. He surely hoped no one was inside if that was the case. He turned his focus to another who came over and spoke of working together for better chances of survival. That could be true, but also very very wrong. Luer was not about to trust any of these people right away. He would stay with them, but until he knew none would up and try to kill him in his sleep he would not let his guard down. He nodded in agreement to the other (Marcus).

He pulled his bow up at the ready when someone else fell and joined the group, aiming it at the new person until he heard them ask a question. Vanguard? What is a Vanguard? Another confused person here somehow? “I assure you I have no idea what you are talking about. I am a sellsword, a bodyguard for merchants and travelers.” He stated as he lowered his bow yet again. Perhaps that would help ease any chance of hostility.

Jacket

Just when Jacket thought he had seen everything, more and more people were gathering near their small group.

Each new person adding to the growing oddity that was now the group. Maybe Jacket did snap and this was all part of a hallucination. Once again, the saner parts of his mind reminded him of how unlikely that was. And then the less than sane parts rebutted with their own claim.

The mental tug of war was beginning to give Jacket a headache. One that was slowly growing in intensity. He wanted to take a drag out of a cigarette so bad that he had to stop himself from reaching into his pocket for the packet. Doing such a thing with strangers right next to him and in what could not be the safest place to smoke, would be a bad thing to do.

Besides, he didn't want to show his face just yet. That and he didn't want the impression he had cigarettes on him, as he didn't want to become the 'bum off this guy for smokes' person. Sure he shared, but only with people he knew. Like Dallas, Hoxton and sometimes Jimmy. Although Jimmy couldn't sit still during the prep phase of a heist, often having to babysit the cocaine addicted man to avoid an early start.

The cowboy trying to talk to everyone, but getting interrupted each time almost made Jacket smirk a little. Almost. But the constant interruption was grating, as Jacket could see the telltale signs of a patience running thin. The cowboy deciding to get everyone's attention by firing off a round in the air. A good move, as a gunshot draws attention and lets everyone know you mean business. Well, this is coming from someone who used the same tactic in heists to notify the civilians that not complying would end in their untimely demise.

A very useful tactic indeed.

The cowboy introduced himself as Arthur Morgan. Decent name in Jacket's eyes. Not too plain, but not too exotic.

When the question of "What happened" came. Jacket shrugged and once again pressed a few buttons on the cassette player.

"Don't know what t-brr-happened dur-bzzr-here in-" The chipper female voice once again said, before Jacket pressed the stop button. No need to waste batteries.

Then the man in the strange suit and red visor spoke about getting to a safe place to discuss the matter further. Jacket couldn't agree more, and to let everyone know what he thought. He pointed at the man and gave a thumbs up.

No need to waste time with the cassette player when simple gestures are quicker.

Scully

The growing crowd was getting his hopes up. As this meant more allies to fight off the Zeds with. Although from the looks and certain things said by the others, the more Scully thought about 'what if the Patriarch kidnapped people and forcing them to partake in a sick test of sorts?'

The thought made Scully shudder and mutter profanity in Dutch.

Not wanting to think about that, he distracted himself with just how cool everyone else was. Even the creepy dude in what looked to be armor with the raspy voice and sword on his back.

"I wish I had a camera, so I can show this to Foster and the gang later." He said, wondering what the British man would say at this. No doubt it would be a combination of sarcastic but good meaning comments. Either that or get as annoyed as the man making himself known as "Arthur Morgan." And fire off a shot into the air. Which considering that Foster was a shotgun kind of guy, would no doubt get everyone's attention and rupture eardrums while he was at it.

"I don't really know either, friend. Just woke up in a creepy pedo-van after getting hig-I mean. 'Recreating' with some friends of mine." He said in regards to Arthur's question. Only barely catching himself on the whole getting high thing. A moment that he hated. As he shouldn't have given in and got high. Not that he didn't get high before the whole Zed outbreaks, but when he did. He was either: Very young and stupid or someone gave him something without him realizing. Can't be a symbol of a good time and fun if you were too strung out to even comprehend the environment.

When topics went to that of relocating to answer the questions, Scully kept quiet for once. Aside from agreeing in his native tongue and attempting to high five the man in armor. Thing? He couldn't tell if the armored man was even human. Coarse that wouldn't stop a man like Scully, if it was friendly, wasn't a Zed and didn't try to eat his liver. It could be his pal.

If he joined the high five, Scully would practically be beaming with excitement behind the skull design covered face mask and goggles. Muttering something about the start of a new friendship. If he didn't give a high five and leave Scully hanging, then Scully would awkwardly lower his hand before saying. "I get it, too cool for a simple high five. Don't worry my strange vriend, I'll find a hand gesture cool enough."

And with that, Scully would just stand in silence trying to think of a gesture for such a task. Fist bump? Nah, the man could maybe break Scully's knuckles. This was going to be tough....

Gray Fox

The more and more Frank saw, the more he became certain that maybe this was all some sort of VR simulation. And he had infact died, but someone had managed to create a copy of him to put in said simulation.

But once more, the logical side of him stated that if that was the case. How was everything so realistic looking? The tech available when he was alive, while amazing in its own right. The simulation tech was lacking at best, and not even remotely capable of this detail without exploding in flames.

This train of thought only came to be as a means to explain the strange company he was in. And much like his other thoughts, it derailed and crashed. It slightly infuriated him. As not matter how he tried to apply reason, there would a gap in logic or something that couldn't be explained to instantly throw reason out of the figurative window. He was deep in his thoughts that he didn't even register what some of the others were even saying. Up until the man in the cowboy get-up fired a shot to get everyone's attention. The familiar sound of a firearm being discharged causing Frank to instinctively reach for the high frequency blade on his back and his visor close to protect his face. Only stopping pulling out the blade only a few inches out of the sheath, now able to just barely feel the vibrations of the blade reverberating inside the sheath, when he saw that the weapon had been aimed into the air rather than at someone.

A good thing, as he was more than ready to take the arm off of the cowboy, similar to how he did to one of Liquid's underlings. The name of whom, Frank had forgotten or simply didn't know. He couldn't tell.

Relaxing his artificial hand's grip only slightly on the weapon after keeping his eye on the others for any signs of hostility.

From how the conversations were going, no one here even knew what was going on. A revelation that caused Frank's only natural eye to twitch. A movement now hidden by the visor as it was now closed. And now the only thing anyone could see was the silts for eye holes and the orange center glowing faintly in the dark.

But then the man in armor commented on how they should relocate, a sound decision for anyone smart enough in terms of tactics and such.

And just like that, someone new joined the fray, spouting off something about Vanguards or something.

Keeping silent as he had no inclination to speak. He could hear the young man that identified himself as Luer spoke to the newcomer, and Frank could hear the Dutch one say something about "I feel like this is a song or something."

If he only had the nerves in his head that were still there or not numbed by the cybernetics and nanomachines in his system. He was positive he would have a headache.

Keeping up with the group hadn't been difficult. When stray ghouls stepped into his way, Alken dispatched them with careful bladework, targeting the head with each swipe. Now blending into the crowd, the SOLDIER wondered what the next move was. I'm pretty sure if I just keep quiet, follow along, and do my part, I'll be more or less golden. If we get many more arrivals, we could probably just rush out of the city as a group and trample the opposition. ...Speaking of which, who's doing this?

Alken was about to offer his two cents when a flash of brilliant green went off directly over his head. The SOLDIER looked up, lowering his visor to get a glimpse at whoever was warping in overhead. The silhouette was familiar; iconic to Alken, even. It was yet another SOLDIER. Oddly, Alken didn't think to sidestep as one of his close colleagues warped into the mix.

"Howdy GaerOOOF" Gaeira landed hip-first on Alken's helmet, bouncing off the top of his head and landing on his side. Alken stumbled, then found his balance as Gaeira groaned and forced himself upright.

Gaeira Indiana, a light skinned man in a violet-blue uniform, picked up his rapier. When the warp had occurred, he was walking down the halls of the SOLDIER outpost in Junon. "Ow...I landed on my helmet..."

"You landed on my helmet too. Ow, man." His helmet uncomfortably twisted by the impact, Alken pushed it back into place.

Gaeira whimpered and rolled over, gripping his hip. "What just happened? Al, if this is a prank, I'm not even a little bit amused."

"If it's a prank, I'm not in on it. Apparently people from different realities are being thrown together like a mish-mash action figure set in a monster-infested city." Grasping Gaeira's arm and hauling him upright, Alken looked around. "We're the only SOLDIERs here, but not the only ones with force-multiplication powers. Some of them must be supersoldiers from other planes of existence."

"Got it. Also, what?! What precedent do we have for this ever happening to anyone?!"

"Well, it's happening to us right now."

"...Fair point." Gaeira seemed far less accepting of the situation, but decided not to complain. Putting on his helmet and drawing his rapier, he looked around. "Any persons of interest?"

"I know maybe two people's names in this whole group, man." Alken shrugged. "Been busy just trying not to get lost. You do the thinking and socializing and stuff, and I'll stick with using my ol' fashioned violence."

"Deal." Turning his attention towards the others, Gaeira twisted his body, his hip producing a satisfying pop as he tried to get a handle on the cavalcade of universal refugees.

Trigger

The fog from the building was in Trigger’s eyes as he walked farther from the group. He could barely see the group of new people through the dust from his distance. He walked by old apartment stores, partly destroyed from the city’s downfall. It seemed like riots had happened days prior. He searched most of the stores, looking for some sort of working telephone of some kind, but they were all dead and silent. Trigger made sure to keep the group within his sight in case more creatures came out of the shadows. The city itself was mostly deserted. It was filled with abandoned cars with charred corpses encased in them along with old gas stations and corner stores already empty from scavengers. The destruction must have happened at least a week earlier, but Trigger wasn’t certain. As he bounced from store to store, Trigger heard the dragon creature fly through the city, breathing hellfire with it. In the street he looked up to see burning skyscrapers, as if they had been destroyed or bombed by a military force, but Trigger was not sure of that either. This was a new world to him after all, he had no clue of its origins.

Dusk

The sound of buzzing bugs was a familiar world to the creature. He saw the world through a peaceful view. He had always loved his home inside an old bunker, even though it was filled with an assortment of long dead skeletons. Dusk always ventured out during the day to fetch new plants for his collection. He was very civilized despite his monstrous appearance. He used tools like shovels and rakes to keep his home tidy. This day was different however when he venture out with a hoe to tend to his outdoor plants. He was hit by the flash of green light as he opened the rusty door. Raising his hand to the light, he was shocked to see a completely new land when he lowered it. Dusk was shocked to see the destruction before him. His first thought was that he went back in time, but he wasn’t where he originally was. He turned to not see his bunker, but an old corner shop, and a strange humanoid creature roaming. The zombie-like appearance startled Dusk at first, but it was an animal like any other he assumed. Dusk gently put his hoe on the ground to let it know he meant no harm, but it attacked anyway. It was quickly put on the ground by Dusk’s thin arms. He hoped he didn’t hurt it in any way and tied it up with some old twine in the back of the store. As Dusk finished He turned to see a strange apparatus aimed at his face (Trigger’s gun). He looked around the invention at the man behind it. Dusk had never seen a living man before, and so he was fascinated by its small stature and smooth skin. Dusk moved to touch the thing aimed at him, but as soon as he raised his hand a strange feeling hit Dusk’s mask-like face, and then he heard a loud noise emanate from the contraption, almost like thunder. The human raised its gun and let out a noise, saying “what the Hell…?” and it ran out of the old store.

"OKAY"

Alec stood atop a large box he found to address the now massive group of people they had accumulated in the quickest amount of time. The path Amy and Xiao had managed to make took them straight to a harbor by the waterside to the south. The harbor had very little to offer in terms of food and supplies, with any ships that hadn't been taken out to water sunken and unfixable. The water itself was salt so it was completely undrinkable. But, they did have one very important thing now. A ship.

Kingpin, along with the bird lady, could now fly across the city. The ship, however, didn't have enough room to fit them; only able to carrying a few people. Still, there was now an escape out of this city, and Kingpin didn't look ready to abandon them all and head for the hills before demons tried taking his head off. With everyone in a park near the harbor, Alec found a box on a dock, brought it over, and stood atop it, gaining everyone's attention so they could get back in order and make a plan.

"So, we have a lot of people in our group now! A lot more!"

An understatement.

"Just so we're all clear on who we are. Kingpin-22 he's the guy with the ship, floating orb machine, and is something called a 'guardian,' a group of warriors set on defending something called 'The Traveler.' No idea what that is, and it wasn't explained very well, but fuck it."

(Owened by Puncake)

"Alken and Gaeria, they're super-human people from a group called SOLDIERs which is an elite fighting squad owned by an... Electrical Company, is that right?" He looked over to the two, wondering if he got that information correct.

"We have two Marcus' as well, which is the weirdest thing about our group, because the coincidences with that are really odd. Anyway, Marcus 1 is a bit hesitant to reveal details about himself for privacy reasons, and I don't feel like pressuring him too much, so he's the lad with the more normal look." He's from SCP.

(Owned by Pun as well.)

"The other Marcus is a hunter who fights beasts in a placed called Yharnam, it's a city filled with monsters and he's there to kill a lot for something called 'the hunt.' I think. He looks Victorian, so at least we can distinguish the two Marcus'."

(Owned by Nero.)

"We have........ Actually I didn't catch your name." He looked over to Doom Marine, who hadn't spoken at all since the group first got together. And he was still quiet, even as Alec waited for him to speak up, leaving the group in awkward silence for a good minute or two. Eventually, Alec gave up. "........ Alright, He's green guy, I'll go with that."

(Owned by Nero as well.)

"We have Alistia, the warrior of light, and she's a cat lady. Very powerful with the magic, especially with the wand."

(Owned by Snow)

"Alicia, she's the youngest out of all of us."

(Owned by Silvir)

"We have Amy and Xiao, Amy is an earthbender who an bend earth, and Xiao is something called an 'avatar,' I don't fully understand what that means, but she can bend earth, water, fire and air, so I'm glad we have people who can do that."

(Amy is owned by Me, Xiao is owned by Raffia)

"We have a bird-lady, her name is Zenith. Zenith, it's a pleasure to meet you." He gave a wave to Zenith, the black person with bird wings, and honestly from how she was dressed, she was a little uncomfortable to look at, by Alec at least.

(Owned by Raffia to)

"There's Lincoln and Connor. Lincoln can control electricity, Connor is an android."

(Both owned by Lucky)

"We have a weirdly giant crab in this box," called the WERE-CRAAAAAAAAB!............. The were-crab was actually trapped in that box because it tried attacking people, so they threw it in there, and Alec could feel is struggling to escape inside.

(Owned by me)

"And there's Mitsuru, Ash Williams, and Spider-man. Mitsuru can wield a sword, and happens to be very powerful, so hi Mitsuru, pleasure to meet you. And Spidy can fling out webs and crawl on walls, so hi Spider-man. Ash has a shotgun, and a robotic hand."

"And can talk faster than you can, mind getting on with it?" Ash yelled out to Alec.

(Mitsuru is owned by Minerva, Spidy is owned by me.)

"We had a guy called Trigger, but he vanished, no idea where he went, so I'll call it now, he died."

(Trigger is owned by Wiggin)

"And I'm Alec. I was the leftenant on a ship for the alliance, which was a bunch of alien races coming together to make a big powerful government." And he's owned by me.

"We're all here because we have a flash of light blind us and teleport us here to this hellhole. We have no idea why, but from how many of us have some weird importance back in our homes, someone clearly brought us here for a reason. Whether to die, or help fix this place, no idea, either way, we're stuck here and lost. So, we need to figure out a plan to get out of this city alive, and get the fuck back home. Are we all clear on this?"

Zenith: Just inches away from nabbing Spidey she had failed and sailed right over him a little while ago. Last thing she remembered was seeing a concrete wall then everything went blurry. If Faceplanting concrete at over 150 miles an hour wasnt bad enough that massive stone spire that was falling down ended up partially on top of her too. Minutes had passed and she was dazed but the noise of somebody walking nearby prompted her to action as she wriggled and kicked at a piece of rubble.

A broken up wall was kicked aside before another one fell on top of the person that kicked the first one away. "Ow... bad idea..." A female voice sounded out from the dust as the second chunk of rubble was flung out and fell on top of a smashed car, flattening it completely now. After some more time She finally stepped out of that hole she got embedded into by that falling building and met up with the first signs of life she could find... unfortunately the red blue guy was nowhere to be seen...

[timeskip]

The group had gathered up and quite a few more people joined up over time as she made her way towards the dock with the rest, occasionally flying up to see if there were any other people only to have a glancing shot sail right over her head. After that incident she didnt peek her head out above the cities skyline. Once time came for introductions she gave Alec a wave in response and let out a chuckle about his reactions. Not her fault she came from an R rated universe.

Xiao Once more was sitting on a rapidly spinning yet squishy ball of air as she listened to Alec introduce herself and Amy. It was really fortunate and nice to meet somebody from her own universe who she could talk to but maaan was she from way too far into the future. She had no clue that such a place as republic city was or even would be a thing. Still giving a wave to everyone once her name was announced she looked over to Amy and gave the girl a wink.

Alistia sighed as more and more people started popping up all at seemingly random. She was used to seeing massive amounts of weird yet skilled people, but there was a limit as to how fast a mind could absorb so much new detail. She eventually could feel herself going a little bit crosseyed as her mind just couldn't keep up.

Thankfully, introduction time was in order, and with the calming down, Alistia knew just what to do. She closed her eyes as Thyrus glowed softly and, all around her, nature seemed to come to ease. Earth, wind, and water seemed to relax, grow soothing, and tranquil. Almost as if in a nice and protected glade where one could ease their mind. The earth bloomed gently as the wind calmed to a soothing breeze and the zone became a perfect healing sanctuary.

"Everyone, if you are hurt or wounded in any way, I can heal you. This area around me has natures soothing call and can ease your wounds. Also, if you give me a few minutes, I can ward all of you with a protection spell. It won't stop a bullet but it should ensure it won't kill you in one hit. Please... Everyone, let me be your healing pillar."
