The Evrensel Conflict: Act 1 -- Chapter 2, Mission: Dark Side of the Moon

Sharktopus

The cavern is soon filled with the screams and gurgled screams of other prisoners as the rest of the sharks feast on them. The water swells with a tide of blood.

The Sharktopus responds to the punches and cuts it gets from its three prey in kind: Al is whipped hard across the chest to attempt to cave in his chest, unaware Al is a suit of iron armor. Tokui and Ed would get a harder squeeze and deep cuts from the suckers of arms holding them. It thrashes in pain and pulls them both down faster to its great maw of sharp teeth. When Tokui makes eye contact with its beady black emotionless eyes, his sharingan appears in its eyes and the two are suddenly released as it turns away from the three. For a few moments it is calm, and has forgotten them.

But then it senses the blood in the water, and it comes out of Tokui's genjutsu.

Luckily for them, the other sharks swim through the bloody water, and it starts to eat them along with the other prisoners as it swims away and around the cavern.

They are safe for only a short window of time. Eventually and quickly, it would come back around to them and try to eat the three again as part of its feeding frenzy.

Ed Elric

Ed could only watch as his brother sank further down into the abyss, gurgling out a "BALH!" Panic set over him, but as the sharktopus' tentacle slipped off his ankle, Ed quickly had to swim up to the surface again; gasping a deep breath. "AL!" He shouted again, looking down into the water to see if he could see some shining bit of metal still from the faint light. He could just make out the creature throwing his brother across the cavern, and the dust and debris to fall off the wall from where Al was smashed.

"Try eating this, you son of a bitch!" He shouted, before smashing the palms of both his hands into the top of the ceiling. In a matter of seconds, it illuminated blue, like electricity surging across the rock, and something massive began to form out from the rock. A MASSIVE CANNON!

main-qimg-b8b54a0066a01db30053a463532911c6

The cannon hung upside down, along with Ed sitting on its top to aim it directly at sharktopus, and looking extremely pissed off, fired a cannon ball at its stupid shark head.

Yet, in Al causing the wall of the cave to crack open, there shined a small sliver of bright light. It seemed an escape from the creature was accidentally created, big enough to just about fit even Al if he could reach it. As well, the gestures of water above that shot them all down into this cave shot down yet another new stranger to the multiversal conflict. Directly at where the normal sharks were eating the prisoners.

Larsa the Red (and her bound)

The trio would all scream as the green light would deposit them in a cascade of water, confused and shocked as they went from a mild forest to this completely new environment.

The witch would grab Seelie the faun and pull her onto Darius the warmoth's back as they'd suddenly plunge from rushing white water to a sickly red, a sight the leader of the trio knew all too well, a pool of blood.

Though while the red-tinted lake they'd fallen into wasn't of too much concern, the apparent mass of underwater creatures very clearly was. Speedily, she's run a nail across the moth's back, drawing blood, and with a small wave, she would create a bubble of air from the substance, levitating out of the murky red before any of the creatures could attack them, serving as a shield and a way to breathe, at least for the time being.

"YOU BITCH"

"SHUT UP YOU BIG FLUFFY MONSTER, I'LL HEAL YOU LATER." Larsa would yell seemingly to herself, beads of sweat already appearing on her face as she strained to support their combined weight while drawing as little blood as possible to prevent her mount from losing consciousness.

She scarcely had the time or focus to even look around at their surroundings, just about registering other people, some massive thrashing creature, and a bunch of flashing lights.

With a grunt Alphonse feels the pressure and current taking him in a direction he didn't wish to go. His body is slammed by the massive tentacle, leaving no real damage to the armor. But now that he's practically eye level with the goliath, he comes to a revelation.
"A chimera!"
He calls out in the water, his voice to muted by his own body and the water surrounding (and filling) him to be heard by anyone other than the sharktopus, and it probably doesn't really care anywho. Al reaches out for the monster again, only to have it swerve out of his grasp. And this frustrates him a little. His helmeted head tilts back to look up towards the surface and he sees struggle in the water. Ed and the one that helped them. He saw sharks outlying from them, but not far enough away to be comfortable. He hopes.. the sharks won't pay attention to the two above himself, the thrashing in the water. He doesn't want to think it… but the sharks are probably to intent on their own meals to worry about it for now.
Now his gaze would draw back to the sharktopus, and he starts to try and swim towards it as it turns downwards from Tokui and Ed. He can't move fast in water (even under the most favorable of conditions) so he has no chance of getting. He isn't sure what happened… but the beat disappears into the darkness around them. And he… he still slowly sinks. Looking up once more, he wouldn't even be able to swim upwards. His body has to much mass to it now (thanks to the water filling him). Looking below him now… he stares into the black that is prevalent everywhere. And a thought he doesn't like to think comes into his mind…
His body will sink into that darkness below, there is nothing for him to cling to or float on or anything. The Blood Seal anchoring his very soul to this cursed armor will eventually wear away, which may take months or years in the darkness of the water. And after that… his spirit will finally just float away. Something that could be a mercy. Ed would be able to focus on fixing his own body instead of wasting time trying to bring his own body back from the aether. Ed would get his arm and leg back and live to a happy old age.

His gaze shoots upwards then, seeing movement above him. Edward. His big brother. Those dark thoughts are erased from his consciousness and he once more focuses on getting back up there and helping both of them, Tokui and Edward. But how…
The answer comes in the form of a raging chimera.

He lets out a surprised scream as his body is suddenly trapped by the vicious maw of the sharktopus. It rapidly chomps down on Alphonse with rows of jagged teeth, but Al's body withstands it admirably. But the close up of those awful teeth… well he's glad he can't sleep. Because this is prime nightmare material. Between ALL those teeth coming at him over and over… some of those teeth going right into his eyes… is just…. just awful. Add the screeching sound of the teeth scraping harshly against his armored form. The sharktopus' head thrashes left to right as it ascends, and it finds itself unable to clamp down on it's unexpectedly armored prey. So one of its tentacles draws up and wraps around one of Al's dangling legs and pulls as its jaws open. "Ah! Leggo!" Al calls out, and with monstrous strength the sharktopus hurls Al away.

Well… this solves the whole sinking forever thing.

Al is sent sailing through the water, bubbles in his wake under the surface. With a muffled 'CHOOM' he hits a wall, and that wall fractures under the mass and momentum. If there was actually a person within this armor, most all of their bones would be broken by that impact. Al starts to slide down the wall a moment, and then the wall itself crumbles. Water rushes into the newly created hole, sucking Alphonse in. He finds himself in a small cave… well small in regards to the ceiling being to close to the floor for comfort. So much so, Al is actually caught in the cave. His body wedges itself between a slim pass, the water rushing passed and through him. He struggles as he finds himself immobile, the stone edges all around him scraping into his armor mercilessly. Probably not enough to break his armor or put him in danger, but most likely at least leave him looking a mess.

Tokui Uchiha

Tokui felt some slight stings over his uniform from the sharp hooks in the monstrosity's tentacles, luckily, his genjutsu seemed to have worked. If only for so long. The blood in the water from the other sharks having a meal seemed to be too much to keep this one under control. Tokui saw as the armor was flailed around and slammed into a wall. The monster didn't do much else for now in regards to them. That didn't stop the guy with the mechanical arm to use a strange sort of jutsu to blast a boulder towards the monster. Tokui used a push of chakra to get out of the way and not be pulled under the water rushing down behind said boulder.

It was time to leave these waters.

As if on cue, a set of characters dropped near him, but quickly steered clear out of the water using some sort of blood trick. Tokui took one last look around, the only ones still in one piece were the guy from before and the new arrivals. Everyone else was beyond salvation. Weaving signs in a blur, Tokui's mind exclaimed: "Suiton: Water Dragon Torrent!" his hands projected forward, as the silhouette of a dragon enveloped him and blasted him forward. Using his hands, Tokui steered the rush of water in a circle to adjust its trajectory slamming a shark or two out of the way in the process.

The red water dragon busted through the carnage around it and neared Edward opening its mouth, engulfing him while blasting a part of Edward's weapon out of the way while Tokui caught Edward himself with an outstretched arm. Now the trio in the bubble were next. Having not much of a choice, Tokui manifested his skeletal avatar. The Susanoo's arm would envelop the trio and pull them inside the dragon.

Now, for the landing. Tokui had aimed for the gap Alphonse's body had made. Given that the dragon was overcrowded and the only exit looked somewhat deep into the rock from the glimpse he caught of it, Tokui decided to hold onto the Susanoo for a bit longer. The water by itself would make no small impact, but just to be safe, Tokui threw caution out the window as he used yet another jutsu. "Bishamonten!" his mind screamed yet again, as a burst of red energy violently shot out of his eye, carving a large circle in the stone ahead. He shut said eye for an instant to give it some rest as the remains of his vvisor drifted away, Tokui was concerned about the need to hide his eyes from now onwards, but remained focused on his next move. As the water crashed, Tokui gritted his teeth when his Susanoo's free arm synced up with it by throwing a punch, holding Edward close to him and the other three with the Susanoo's free arm. The three stage attack on the cave's wall managed to bust it open. Momentum of the dragon and the rushing water blasted the rock forward. The people he held with his Susanoo would slip off his grasp as he dispersed the avatar and would probably be carried forward by the bloodied water, but would be shielded from most of the impact. The same could be said about Edward, who Tokui shielded further by embracing him as they slid. Sadly, Alphonse would have a bit of a rougher time. He would feel the pressure of water forcing itself through the gap he was in, only to then be spat out the other side of the impact. All Tokui hoped was that metal body felt no pain.

Once at solid flooring, and with the rush of water calmed down, Tokui would stand up as fast as he could, allowing Edward to stand on his own as well. Having no choice, he kept his sharingan active as he scanned the unknown surroundings. "Sorry about pulling you here like that, it's the first thing that came to mind. Is everyone alright? Talking mostly to you, Alphonse." He asked, keeping an alert eye on whatever might be the source of the light that brought him to break through to get here. Tokui did wonder how the sentient armor took that beating, but he could ask once he made sure they were safe. He considered giving Edward a hard time for almost blasting him away with that boulder, but at this time, he needed to figure out what this was and how to safely traverse it. Making more enemies from the get go wasn't a good plan for that.

Markha nods at Terry. "He is right. That needs to be secured while the other two are disabled." She realizes this is it. There could be no more doubt from her. They needed decisions. The training and experience she had gained from the Clone Wars kicks in.

Now they needed to act.

"One group will get to the prisons en route to the rings, freeing prisoners to shore up reinforcements and distract the enemy while they continue on to disable the gravity rings. A second group will raid the weapons testing, secure the life support systems, and hold for the first group to rejoin. Then we disable the engines and shut off life support to all sections but our own escape point. All objectives done, we hail The Doctor and escape before the station collides with another asteroid." Markha explains her plan slowly, pointing at all the key areas and paths to be taken slowly, so that everyone should be able to follow and memorize.

"I will lead the group for the lower section. Batman, Valoren, with me. Kaz and Morgan, you two to the upper section." Markha tells the others. Then asks Bram. "Where will you go?"

"I'll join with the first group, help them in freeing the captives," Bram answered, "Once they realize what's happened, it will be too late to stop us." He gave her a smile, admiring her leadership skills and adaptive strategic mind in what must have felt like an uphill climb on a steep mountain from what he was asking of her. "We should prepare now, who knows how much longer we'll be alone. And Markha," he asked for her attention once more, "may the force be with you."

He then bowed to her, "and thank you. You'll need those once you head down," Waving his head to something behind her, he used the force to push open the lids on a few crates. Inside were uniforms, both for prisoners and guards of the base. "The weapons testing section brings in prisoners for experiments, so be careful." Was the last thing he told her, before joining the ones who would go with him in the prison section.

The cannonball smashed into Sharktopus' face, causing it to quickly swim away from the pain. And with Tokui's quick thinking and acting, the others would be washed away by the underwater current before the sharks would bite into any of them. When they could see and breath again, the opening from the broken wall lead them to a wide space.

As soon as Ed got above water, he let out a massive gasp for air, crawling up to the rocks. "AHHHH! *Inhale* Aaaaaah! *Inhale* Ahhhhhhh! *Inhale* Haaaahahaaaaa~..." He just rested his upper body on the rocks, while his lower half remained in the water, feeling utterly exhausted by the underwater swimming, fighting, and barely being able to breath. This is why a main with a metal arm and leg should not be in water.

"Al?... Al, you okay?" He asked, struggling to move his head. Then he realized something. Where was the light coming from in here? It was very bright, even more than back underwater. Then a shadow move over his face, and when he looked up.... Uh oh.

"FREEZE!" There were about several dozen soldiers in this place, as apparently they found themselves in a mine shaft. And they were guarding excavating the place. And they had a LOT of guns pointed at them all.

"Uhhh.... Hi?" Was all Ed could think up in his exhausted state.

WEAPONS TESTING LAB:

Shared by the various factions Dio had brought together, the lab was busy with scientists that were studying a variety of experiments. From weapons mods, to new forms of hand held weaponry, to various plant and bug life that were shelved along the walls, along with tubs filled with alien life. Or, worse, mutated life.

It was filled with scientists, bio-engineers, and soldiers, each with a different insignia and symbol on their uniforms to represent who they worked for. Prisoners from the upper levels were also brought down, as the labs also had testing ranges to practice on life targets. As both groups would enter the area, a fresh batch were being brought down by one of the service elevators in the far back of the room in the center. Markha's group would enter from the right elevator, while the cave group from the left.

The cave group were cuffed, or in Al's case, have his arms literally ripped off his armored body so he couldn't use them. They were to be brought into one of the test chambers. There was a new flesh eating bacteria the science team had been dying to test out on live targets.

Al moves as much as he can in his little stuck place, his hands pushing against the stone edges. Water rushes through him, but abruptly he feels his whole form shift. With a soft yelp he is practically spat from his spot and ends up on the ground in a messy sliding motion. Coming to a stop finally he rolls onto his side, body propped up on his elbow. He groans softly, feeling the swishing of water inside of him. It does slowly drain, but not nearly fast enough for his comfort.
He hears his name and he looks towards Tokui, and his voice seems to be a little shaken "y--yes sir, I'm o- okay." His head turns and he looks towards the ground for a few moments. His mind reels a bit, trying to put together what has transpired so far. He and his brother were walking back towards the train station… having run into yet another dead end on their quest. Alphonse was recalling to Edward the multiple merits of keeping a cat with them. Or a kitten. Or a cat and a kitten. Or kittens. Or cats. Or cats and kittens. Of course, Edward had stopped listening when Alphonse lead with 'When we walked passed that animal shel-' and that was that for Ed's attention. There was a sudden light… and they were falling. None of it made a lick of sense.
And while he had been trying to piece it together in his mind, he didn't even realize they dropped themselves into yet another problem. His gaze starts to move towards Edward to make sure he's there and in one piece… and that's when he notices the guards! A gasp is heard from the hollow armor and Al pushes himself hurriedly to his feet. But Alphonse had already been spotted by the guards, of course, and they were all ready to deal with him. Al begins to move towards the guards near Edward and the others when he suddenly finds himself restrained. He looks back, his right arm now trapped by a catch pole. A rod with a cable looped at one end, intended to capture large animals perhaps. It has Al by the forearm, and he looks towards the armed guard holding him. Turning, he starts to reach for the pole itself with his other hand. But just like that, another cable is looped around that arm. His upper body leans down as he draws his arms in, trying to fight against the 2 guards restraining him.
And then Alphonse feels something 'pop'. And then another 'pop'. New sounds suddenly coming from him out of nowhere is usually not good.
His arms quaking now with the effort, his left hand starts to slowly reach towards the catch pole affixed to his right arm. His glowing eyes stare at the man holding that catch pole, and he realizes Alphonse is stronger than he seems. The guards are starting to lose their control over him. Fortunately for them, they have strength of numbers. A third armored guard seems to come out of nowhere and kicks Alphonse right in the shoulder, right at the joint between his arm and shoulder in fact. The sound of retching metal is heard as the rivets, bolts and buckles of his arm's joint tears. He cries out as he drops to one knee, the guard holding that catch pole stumbling back and falling to the ground as Al's arm is torn completely away from his body. His eyes seem to glow more brightly now as he stares at the empty space, and he is distracted enough for the guards to tear his other arm off mercilessly.
Alphonse IS a suit of armor… one made for the midst of the fiercest of battle. But… he was also just chewed on by a sharktopus, thrown through a wall and spat out with the force of a minor torrent. He has taken damage, to say the least. With a loud clank he lands on his side, and he is grabbed by the sides of his chest plate, then hauled to his feet. Now Al has no arms… but that doesn't mean he's ready to give up. That doesn't mean he's not ready to continue to fight.
But what he realizes next does make him given up.
As he is manhandled, held by a guard on either side of him, Alphonse sees what seems like pulpy mush dump from the holes in his armor, and books that are now just ruined and unreadable. They look like they would fall apart if touched. Al stares at them on the ground around him, his whole body and mind just going slack. "m…m… bo… books.." he whispers. He is forced forward by the guards and he does nothing to resist. As if he were as broken in spirit as in body. And as he is moved away, he looks over his shoulder (partial shoulder now) to stare at the mess of what is left of his books.
Nothing is said now by Alphonse, he just lets the guards lead him wherever, his eyes downcast before him. And the guards are a bit… confused, mystified and curious how it is Alphonse is able to move. After all, the guards on either side of his body can now see one another through the holes where his arms were….

Dr. Morgan Yu

@Wade Von Doom @YeetLee @Henryboy003
A brief metallic rolling sound is all that preceded the abrupt appearance of Morgan Yu. She was clad in a red and black patterned environmental suit that also served as a uniform. On her belt, she wore a small collection of metallic wedges, one of which she plucked off as she straightened. It reassembled itself into a gleaming black pistol in a second's time. Pointing the barrel towards the ground, the Asian woman nodded once at the plans of the Jedi.

"The particulars of this technology are unfamiliar to me," she said in the calm, interested voice of a born scientist who would love to change that. "But I expect that prison cells will be recognizable from any era. We can free the captives. Hopefully we can arm them as well. I'll do my best to locate these gravity rings and disable them."

She hesitated for a moment before pressing on with her thoughts. "We are a small team and the enemy holds the advantage in native technology and numbers. I would...even those odds. Unless doing so is a danger, try to leave the bodies of hostiles intact. Avoid disintegration if you can. I should be able to tip the scales in our favor, if there are enough to work with."

Looking once more at the map that Markha reviewed with the group, Morgan Yu said "We'll rendezvous with everyone else at the command deck as Bram suggested. From there, we should be able to sabotage the facility and make our escape safely."

At Bram's gesture to the crates, the scientist turned her head to look at the uniforms, then walked over to one and ran her gloved fingers across the surface of the fabric. Abruptly, her entire appearance from head to toe flickered with an insubstantial purple haze. Then the distortion settled out and she was Doctor Morgan Yu once more...only the red and black uniform she wore had been replaced with a guard's uniform.

To Kaz and Bram, she then nodded once and said, "Let's move out before they notice we're here."

Flynn The Volitale - Character Sheet

Flynn wasn't in terribly good health after the human town where she nearly turned to organs in the tank. Channeling Grandfather Teeth had been a last resort where now there was some wracked soul born in it that ached for blood and war. A small army of revenants and a wraith human to create them that would stay sane for a duration she lied about. It was short. At least without etheric twitch to maintain an anchor. Intuition of long years working for the Sanguinary told her she was being manipulated. Not by the AI. At least for that reason. No, more subtle. A spore? Leaving a trail of Grandfather Teeth's tumors under reality wherever she went. Before she left with the aid of her sextant back from the Doctor found a place where the ticking of its thoughts from empty walls was getting louder.

Go forward, get the job done. So she went on the next mission stumbling over herself and the bandages. Keep going and figure out how to suppress the being that broke Grandfather Teeth's quarantine. Between the husk's damage, her own, and David unintentionally making her family, she had to leave the Husk with the doctor. Though cleaned them out of as much meat as she could get in her stomach on her way out. Though that quickly ended up being on the inside of heavy metal container. Hands, feet, and mouth tightly bound shut so she couldn't thaum shell them again. The cage meant for animals welded shut meant they thought this was a one way trip. Flynn wasn't out of ideas yet the hairworm could hear her think just fine. It's not like the psionic creature had any ears.

She talked at the worm in her head voice knowing it heard, [Get out and see if you can track down my allies. Quiet your profile and quell your notice of the hostile minds' eyes. Try not to go so far you cannot hear my mechanism.]

The bright blue dust wrapped in and around her bones fell into line as the microcollective assembled itself inside her flesh. It hurt when the creature emerged from rest from the jostling but the pangs subsided. What normally would be a jointed worm poured out of her as a puddle of blue threads around the feathers of her ankle. It shot to the floor as the puddle slipped between the shadows created in the collective field of awareness. Though a certain spark of light gained its notice. One like itself. Though the waveform wasn't from the source mechanism it was familiar. Nor its home mechanism. Curious.

A puddle slowly poured toward Kaz, Bram, and Morgan. Closer whenever they didn't look at it. Except, at least, for Morgan Yu. The microcollective of beings housed in metal dust stared back and moved whenever she was watching.

Larsa the Red (and her bound)

Surging the blood back into her companion and clotting the wound she'd made on the surface, the witch, the moth, and the faun would all splutter as they'd find air, each coughing the liquid out of their lungs, before looking at the armor-clad men peering at them with strange weaponry.

Larsa would give them an unamused frown at their apparent 'control' over the situation, but say nothing, allowing the cuffs and being hurdled away to see whatever was planned for them. Her two companions initially would struggle against the guards, but was soon stopped with a command from Larsa.

"Be calm." the witch would say with a magical force to her voice. Forcing both to comply without any sense of hesitation, suddenly becoming tranquil despite their thrashing a moment before.

She'd hardly gotten a look at the others through her barrier and all the commotion, but one of them had been trying to help them with a giant hand from what little she'd been able to see, a confident grin breaking upon her tan face at her new situation. Her golden eyes glowing with joy and excitement at the prospect of something interesting happening for once rather than her usual boring days in the forest.

As the party would travel with the group, the witch would send a wave and a smile at anyone accidentally looking in her direction, like she was in a parade as opposed to being a prisoner.

The sights they went past were certainly something for her to marvel at. She hadn't been in a kingdom in a while, but this certainly was far beyond her expectations. Machines and marvels as far as the eye could see, soon turning to a zoo of miscellaneous creatures, each different from the last, though it didn't interest Larsa personally all that much compared to what was planned for them.

Al's predicament would only get worse when a massive claw hand moved right in front of him. Four claws around a small square body, attached to a railings above on the ceiling, and a red glowing eye that for a brief moment, analyzed Al's body, before grabbing him by his chest and raising him high into the air.

"AL!" Ed yelled, as his hands were raised above his head and was in the back of the group, unable to console his brother. In a panic, he tried rushing forward to catch him before he was raised up too high, but one of the guards was quick to slog him right in the stomach with a fist. Dropping to his knees, two more grabbed his arms firmly so he couldn't try anything. The one holding his right arm noticed the metal under his jacket's sleeve, and pushing it up to his elbow to see the automail limb.

"Ahhhhh, another cripple in our midst." A German voice echoed from the left side of the room. Several scientists approached, one larger than the other in body mass and height by around two feet at least, as tall as Al was, and approached Ed first. He wore a dark visor helmet, obscuring his face, and when he crouched down to Ed's level, he studied the automail. "Mmmmmm~ Stainless steel skeletal frame, layered densely with armor plating similar to that of titanium, yet light and mobile enough to act as a regular arm with minimal drawbacks, at least for one as accustomed to it as you clearly are." He had a slight slur in his voice, like he was missing parts of his lower lip.

With a cough, Ed was quick to respond with, "Yeah, it'd be a shame if you saw how 'accustomed' I was to it without your monkeys around." His voice was raspy, but angry in the treatment of his brother.

"I would guess it draws its power directly from the impulses of the nervous system to run the intricate motors and other mechanics inside it, yet its mechanical functions seem to be derived from an older era of technological progress, not like the machinery of the Sith, or these 'cyborgs' we continue to bring in from other filthy worlds. I would guess if there was even a screw missing or not tight enough, the arm would be rendered useless." As he spoke, the scientists behind him made notes for him on clipboards. "Make sure we keep this one conscious when we begin dissection." He ordered them, before standing back up as Ed is dragged off kicking and screaming.

"HEY, YOU LEAVE MY BROTHER ALONE, IF YOU EVEN LAY A SCRATCH ON HIM, YOU'LL WISH YOU HAD MORE OF YOUR DAMN FOOT SOLDIERS, BECAUSE NONE OF THEM ARE GONNA STOP ME FROM RIPPING YOU APART PIECE BY PIECE!!" As he shouted all of this, Al would be placed against a magnetized operating table, restricting his body in place, as massive electric tendrils began rotating around him to look for weak parts of his body's structure to remove to find out how he's able to even function inside a suit with no body.

"Such a loud child." The scientist remarked quietly, before moving over next to Larsa. "And what may you be, my dear?" He leaned in forward towards her face, studying the tattoos along her body.

Larsa the Red (and her bound)

Watching the interrogation of the next duo in line was certainly something to see. The armless suit of armour was hoisted up by one of the strange machines, and its 'brother' seemed to break into a rage, earning a confused look from the witch for a moment, but not much more. The soft smile staying on her face, apparently not phased by his treatment as the giant approached her.

The witch would greet the helmeted man with a grin, shifting into a soft, feminine giggle as he'd begin examining her body. "I'm known as Larsa the Red, the witch." She'd answer coyly, curious to see how the whole procedure went considering how the previous two had been dealt with.

Her glowing, golden eyes would gaze flirtily at her own reflection in the german's visor, before she would stretch her arms over head and let out a breathy yawn, deciding to continue as a thought popped into her head.

"My two friends here can't talk. They serve me, so if possible I'd like for us to stay together and our safety assured." she'd say almost lazily, motioning to the unexpressive faun and giant moth, both remaining unreactive.

"Do this and you'll have my cooperation. I do hope you'll accept it."

"Iris color is of a bright hazel, likely due to a biological change to the body from the communication of spiritual beings and occultic use of alchemy to metamorphize subject's own body. Probable cause to enhance their physicality beyond normal human limits..." The doctor said aloud to the others to note, analyzing each of her facial features as he tried to deem what sort of 'specimen' she was to the rest of the group. After a few seconds of quiet, his dark visor simply staring right into her eyes, he let out a small chuckle.

"Heh.... As you are trespassing and are surrendering peacefully and cooperatively, I'm sure we can come to a swift resolution to your predicament. After all, I doubt you truly care for the plight of your other friends here, you're confused as to how you ended up here, cold from the water down below, and likely hungry. If you will follow my soldiers, I'm sure my superiors can figure out something for you and your friends. He is, after all, extremely dedicated to witches like yourself, as he a vampire." He explained to her.

Larsa the red (and her bound)

The scarlet-haired witch would shrug and pout at his analysis. It didn't bother her one bit what info he gathered on her, though her knowing smile would soon return as he'd seem to respect her compliance, before disappearing yet again.

"Glad to hear." Larsa would reply tersely, her brows furrowing slightly as she'd make her way to the indicated soldiers with her companions in tow. She hadn't been expecting him to be offering her so much, not that she was going to complain about it, even if she didn't like the idea of meeting a vampire.

With a shrug, she'd return to her relaxed state, a playful smile resting upon her lips as she'd continue her venture into the unknown.

Terry McGinnis
Invisible and inside the weapons lab

Watching as the group split up to their respective areas, Terry went with the ones to storm the weapon labs and secure the life support systems, hopefully in a stealthy fashion or at least preventing the alarm going off.

"I won't need a uniform." He explained as he turned a dial on the utility belt, the Batsuit turning Terry transparent, not even causing a distortion when folks look at where he once stood. Following the now disguised group, Terry made sure not to cause a disruption in their movements unintentionally by outright staying to the side of the group or at the back.

Entering the weapons lab, Terry barely stopped himself from letting out a horrified 'woah.' Figures in tubes, people being experimented on and various scientists and Nazis running around doing whatever evil thing they liked to do. Leaning in to whisper to Markha, Terry would say. "I'm gonna go find where the alarm system is, and see what I can do to sabotage it." Before he stealthily made his way through the room, looking for any indication where said alarm system could be, or who looked like they'd be quick to alert the entire station via a radio or button.

Of the uniforms available, Markha has chosen one for a scientist. There had been several, but she had seen there were different symbols on them no doubt to denote an affiliation. To that end, she had donned one of those with a symbol she did not recognize; to bear the symbol of the Sith Empire even in disguise may have drawn other Sith to her in addition to make her squirm internally.

Her prowess is tested in this mission once the group splits to achieve their goals. It started with joining a group of scientists; she had walked up to them, and when they looked at her, planted the suggestion in their minds that this meeting was ordinary, and there was no need to question her walking alone. Relatively simple suggestions such as that were also easy to pass into the mind.

That is how Markha, and Terry behind along with her, enter the weapons testing lab without incident or even small talk being made. Behind the visor, Markha looks forlornly, and with disgust at the labs before her. There had been some mental preparation for this, but not quite for what she sees before even witnessing the treatment of the fresh prisoners that arrive from the other elevator. What Markha mistakes for a large crude droid, proves not to be when she sees and hears it express great loss with its voice. So not a droid, but a magical being of some kind. It also has a brother as apparent by the reaction of the small blonde young man when it is carried off.

Markha pretends to make notes with the other scientists when a large man questions the young man and the dark red-haired woman. That woman was complying, but the young man was not, and would be dissected here. She resolves to save him and his brother first when they disable the alarms.

Speaking of.

Markha hears Terry taking point on that, and uses her mind trick to assist him. One of the scientists that passes her, clipboard in hand, is made to forgo whatever task he had been about to do in favor of checking the alarms methodically. Since Terry was not Force-sensitive, she could not risk trying to communicate with him verbally or telepathically with this ploy; she hopes silently that Terry will notice the man leading him to wherever the alarms can be accessed.

All the while, Markha makes her way after the young blonde. Clipboard up to appear the part of a scientist about to take notes while he is dissected.

Her trusting of her captor would be her undoing, as while walking along with them, a large glass dome shut around her. Where she was standing while following the guards was a platform secretly connected to a conveyor belt, and if she tried using any of her spells to escape, the dome was air tight, either bouncing off the glass, or would do nothing. The dome would then slide across the room to one of the corners where the other test tubes were, before connecting to a series of plastic tubes at the top. An oxygen mask would then drop down for her to wear. If she didn't wear it, she would likely drown from the green slime that then starting to fill the dome, encasing her like it would with the other alien creatures she was next to.

Her bound were also suddenly given more tightened restraints, in case they tried attacking. If they tried breaking free, they were tasered with electric batons to keep them in place as they were to be put in their own little tubes. These for autopsies.

"And what have we here?" The large scientist had finally moved over to Flynn in her cage, kneeling down to look at her. "Birdlike creature, appears to have advanced intelligence, physical appearance is like a velociraptor.... Hmmm..." The scientist fiddled with the cuffs of his uniform as he thought about what to do with Flynn. "Do you understand me?"

The scientist she tricked went slowly from looking at his notepad, to looking up and turning to walk across the room. It worked like a charm, as Terry would get a good sense of where the alarms are if he followed him. There were several switches around the room that looked like the kind you would pull to set off the fire alarm, each in different corners of the large room. The scientist only checked the bottom floor ones, but along the other balconies of the room Terry could see some more built into the wiring of the railings. The claws were also connected to various rails on the ceiling that could be switched and changed.

The most curious thing though were the large nozzles poking out the ceiling. Like they were apart of a massive incinerator system for the whole lab to burn in the event the place was overrun. Considering the variety of species in here, if any got free and couldn't be contained, burning the whole room in one massive fire ball of death and horrible agony would best be suited to ensure nothing escaped this base.

In following Ed, who was still shouting and raving, she would see him get strapped to a table by his arms and legs. "BAAAAH, I'LL TRANSMUTATE YOUR HELMETS INTO YOUR SKULLS SINCE YOUR ALL SO THICK HEADED, YOU'LL BE BEGGING ON YOUR KNEES WHEN I'M THROUGH WITH YOU!" It was as though to make up for his short stance, his voice was about three times as loud as anyone else's. "I'LL TURN THOSE LITTLE RIFLES OF YOUR INTO SPEARS, TURN THEM ALL SIDEWAYS AND STICK THEM STRAIGHT UP YOUR--" His insult/threat was cut off by the butt of a rifle smashing into the temple of his skull as he was strapped down to the table.

"Ugh, pathetic little brat." His guard muttered in annoyance from the headache he had from all that. The table moved forward to be under several small claws that rotated around Ed's unconscious body. Each had tools that were designed for dissection. In this case, they started trying to dissect his automail arm first, checking for where the screw were to untighten and piece by piece remove each part of the arm until they understood how it worked.

Flynn The Volitale - Character Sheet

"And what have we here?" The large scientist had finally moved over to Flynn in her cage, kneeling down to look at her. "Birdlike creature, appears to have advanced intelligence, physical appearance is like a velociraptor.... Hmmm..." The scientist fiddled with the cuffs of his uniform as he thought about what to do with Flynn. "Do you understand me?"
Confined in a heavy steel box with ankles and thighs tethered together and to her feet then anchored to the floor. Her tail tied to her chest then anchored to the rest. Her arms tightly anchored then stretched down to her feet and tied to the floor. Plus a muzzle around her head and connected to the floor. A flexible escape artist her taking had been an event of blood and fire for all involved until they finally got her in her current predicament. The feathers all along her body had the evidence of arc burns from several dozen taser strikes.

Though she couldn't help but think there were young feathers that paid for this position back home. Flynn resisted the urge toward dark laughter until the man's voice came through the tiny window and the urge to kill replaced it. As her eyeballs were fixed she couldn't look up far enough with the muzzle on to see who was out the window but it hardly mattered.

Flynn didn't need her translation spell or to see who it was to reply in fluent German, "More than you'd like, Teuton, and less than I want to."

Though starting to worry she tamped it down hoping the worm would get help soon. This dogma of theirs made it a dangerous gamble to let the worm go on its own but this was a dark place to be in.

Tokui Uchiha

Tokui didn't have much time to actually venture into the light. As he found that they were surrounded by armored men wielding strange weapons. From what he could see, they fired projectiles of some sort, with some unknown method. Unsure on if he could ensure the safety of the other four, he silently complied with being restrained. He was then escorted through a laboratory that reminded him of stories of people like Orochimaru, terrible to look at. Given his company, they were most likely going to be experimented on Immediately, he made a mental note note not to use his sharingan. Probably that'd be the first thing they'd like to gouge out of him for their dark research.

One by one, he saw as the people captured along with him were questioned, analyzed, and put away depending on how they were to inspect their bodies. Tokui remained quiet for now, not batting an eye. The last thing he needed is these people thinking they also have fear on their favor.
