The Evrensel Confict -- Prologue: Chapter 1-- The Only Easy Day was Yesterday

Dusk
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The group of creatures that Dusk had joined continued onward into the large building. Dusk looked around the area, seeing various different shops that looked untouched for some time. He wasn't sure how long the shops had been like this, but it was obvious that the events that had occurred had happened quite a while ago. The sounds of distress ripped Dusk away from his thoughts as the group rounded the corner. At the front of the group, there were two more creatures, both seemed very average and didn't really have any visual qualities that made them stand that far apart. Out of the colorful group, these two looked the most normal. They spoke of some type of ship that had brought them. Dusk wasn't really that interested, seeing now that there was no immediate danger. It wasn't like blades and stuff really scared Dusk, he was more concerned for the group that he was in. He would be awfully lonely if they all seemingly died. Since the conversation didn't require his attention, he turned back to the area around the group.

The group looked to be on the edge of a much larger room, with escalators on end and several corridors that lead into different areas on the other. It felt more like an airport terminal than a mall, to be honest, with all the different directions that the group could choose to go. There was a large hole in the roof, either from some type of destruction or just plain age, it was hard to tell. Parts of the decayed roof hung down along with different wires that still spit electricity. Dusk could probably reach them, due to his height, but it would be harder for a normal person. Some areas were covered in snow due to the large hole in the roof. There were several planters scattered around the area, presumably for a clean and modern aesthetic. The ones that sat under the large hole were covered in snow and were dead from the exposure to the cold. Dusk saw that the plant creature that he'd met in the earlier building was walking away from one, and was accompanied by a man in a very dapper suit. He seemed very out of place to be in the cold. It didn't really matter to Dusk as he kept on looking.

He looked to his right to see a large shop filled with different types of clothing. The windows of this shop were more intact than the others, and the windows were covered with newspapers, probably to keep the cold out. It looked like someone had tried to survive here long ago, but had long since moved on. Dusk wandered into the shop, not too far away from the group. He accidentally glanced his horns on the top of the doorway. Inside the shop were several racks covered in different furs and coats, most of them being more for fashion. Dusk grabbed one of the shirts off the wall and glanced at it. On the front of the shirt, it had the letters "FML" printed on with sparkly letters. Dusk lightly laid it on the counter and continued looking at the different clothing. Some of the items he even attempted to put on, but they were all too small. The little room kinda reminded him of home because of its cozy interior. He had even forgotten about the events that had happened up to this point. After a few minutes, Dusk came out of the shop with several hats on top of his horns. He honestly looked very goofy.

Trigger
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trigger was nearly finished with his reinforcements of the entrances when he heard a ship flying by "already? That was fast" he mumbled. The trip to the mall was just as fast as he traveled with the group. The soldier that had said his name was Alec was, for some reason, leading the group. Trigger didn't bother questioning it, but apparently, the boy with blue hair disliked it. Not too long after the group's landing, they had met two other people. These two mentioned that they were dropped off in some type of ship. "Ship? What type of ship?" Trigger called from the back. They had arrived in the ship from another world that could mean that it could take them back. Trigger pushed his way to the front of the group, wanting to know. "By any chance can this ship bring us home?" he asked.

Reactions: Epiphany
- Sub-Zero, aka Kuai Liang, Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei -

- Sometime ago... -

Overlooking the ominous quarry that ought to have been destroyed and forgotten years ago, Kuai Liang stared at the patrolling Cyber Lin Kuei through his telescope with anger and distress, the former due to the reemergence of Sektor and his Cyber Lin Kuei Factory as a result of Kronika's Timequake, but his distress was born from his fellow Lin Kuei having been kidnapped to serve as this new generation of corrupted, Cyberized slaves.

However, his attention was roused by the familiar footsteps of a man he has shared much history with, slowly approaching behind him, seeking to test Kuai Liang's reactions and as such, Kuai reacted accordingly, merely facing Grandmaster Hanzo Hasashi, barely rising from his prone stance from before as Hanzo sheathed his blade.

"Your hearing is failing you, Sub-Zero."

"I recognized your footsteps, Hanzo."

"Where's Sektor? I will not let him threaten my clan aga--Sub-Zero? What is this?"

Upon a sudden, Kuai Liang was engulfed in a brilliant flash of green light before he could answer and just before he lost sight of Hanzo entirely, he could just see his once old enemy reaching out to stop this abduction, but it was too late.

-------------------

- Chaotic Battleground, Nazi's v.s The Scattered of the Omniverse -

The Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei found himself upon the ground once more, but the air was colder, the soil darker, dead looking even, pulling himself to his feet and retrieving his mask and crown-like head and neck piece, preparing for battle after donning them. He was right to do so, as Sub-Zero had found himself in a warzone, occupied by heavily armoured soldiers and advanced technology, all serving as harrowing reminders of the Cyber Initiative, but this was worse, for they bore a symbol regarded with great disdain throughout Earthrealm's history: The Swastika of Nazi Germany.

But something was wrong. The Nazi's of Earthrealm's history were of the 1930's and 40's, they did not possess such advanced technology, nor did groups of similar ideologies in the future...what manner of timeline did they come from? If this, Timequake caused by Kronika restored Sektor and the Cyber Lin Kuei, was it also the reason he was displaced and the reason why these advanced Nazi's existed? There was little time for debate or thinking about it now however, so Sub-Zero steeled himself and stirred the cold around his fingers and saw that there were indeed kombatants fighting the Nazi's, including a...pink, fuzzball?

Sub-Zero didn't question it, at least not yet, and performed a few sweeping hand motions and chanted a phrase in a foreign language as his ice powers coalesced in between his hands, before firing off a beam of Ice into the air above the Nazi Army, channeling the power for an extended period as it formed a icy cloud that would soon begin raining sharp icicles at a great pace upon the army.

As this was going on, Sub-Zero slid using Ice into the fray with two frozen axes in his hands, slashing at vulnerable, taken aback troopers that got in his way without mercy, tossing them at distant troopers and grabbing an attacker by his neck, crushing his throat and pulling hard upwards until the Nazi's head came straight off, spine included, with his headless body being kicked away and another Nazi about to be beaten by the now frozen head.
Shirou was surprised by the sudden intervention of fire and electrical attacks against the Nazis by parties unknown, but it was definitely a welcome distraction. He managed to get a quick glimpse of a blonde lady in green arcing through the air and smashing her fist into the pavement, instantly shattering and collapsing a wide swath of the road with the Nazis caught in the midst of it. She was then riddled with return fire, but her body then vanished in a puff of white smoke.

"Was that a Servant?" he thought to himself briefly before his attention was once again turned to the battle. He turned to pick up the small pink creature he had rescued, only to see it literally inhale one of the attacking robot hounds, puff up, and then jump into the air and spit out a glowing yellow star at the two attacking giant soldiers, taking them out in a powerful explosion. It seemed the pink creature wasn't nearly as defenseless as it looked.

The other robot hound was closing in fast and the Nazi's reinforcements beginning to rally. He also noted the emergence of a demonic-looking horned monster from the giant hole in the road, which was now ripping through the Nazi's half-tank vehicle and devouring its crew in a horrifying fashion. To Shirou's eyes, it's ferocious and bestial behavior indicated it was a danger to everyone. Despite the fact that it was currently attacking the Nazis, he couldn't allow this monster to roam free.

"Trace On!" he shouted, keeping his magic shield active while projecting a volley of heavy axes, each of them manifesting from a flurry of short-lived, glowing blue mana particles. He then fired them right at the charging robot hound, hoping to penetrate through that sturdy-looking armor. Simultaneously, he projected a mixed volley of longswords, axes, and spears which were based upon various mythical monster-slaying Noble Phantasms, and then fired them all at the man-eating horned monster. They wouldn't be as powerful as the true originals, but hopefully they would be more effective against the beast than mere bullets, which had proven all but useless against it.
Abby Dee/Courier Six - Character Sheet

Tsunade sees the buildings along one side of the street start to collapse, and jumps over to the other side on her approach to battle. This change in course puts her in the opportune position to see someone coming down the fire escape of one building she passes. She stops in her tracks to see it is not a 'human' as she has seen thus far, but some kind of humanoid reptile wielding a sword.

Given the strange appearance of the convoy her clone had attacked, Tsunade is not inclined to perceive this being as an ally.

"やめる!あなたは戦うためにここにいますか?" Tsunade yells her warning and question up at the being in a battle-ready stance. Should Ayana make any movement without answering, Tsunade kicks a rock from the ground at her as a warning shot.

Ayana
--------------

Ayana stops for a moment when she sees someone coming. A human woman, a generously gifted human woman. The one she saw throwing out a fireball before. Then they yell something.

A look of confusion appears on Ayana's face for a moment, her head tilting slightly to one side and she squints. It sounded like, maybe something she had heard before? She couldn't be sure but, more pressingly the building could come down at any moment.

"Sorry! But I don't speak fancy!" she calls back, "Just lemme get my tail down from 'ere and maybe we can work something out, 'kay?" She straps the sword back into its sheath and resumes her descent. No need to piss off someone who can throw fireballs around.

As she makes it to last part of the fire escape, not knowing she can extend a ladder down, she just jumps down and lands with a roll on the ground to break her fall. Grunting she rises to her feet and holds her hands up away from her weapons. "No need to get feisty, alright?"

As Ayana tried speaking to Tsunade, from behind, she would hear the shouting of, "Einfrieren!" A German soldier stood at the end of the ally, behind all the chaos going on in the street, aiming his weapon right at her. "Identifizieren Sie sich oder werden Sie wie ein tollwütiger Hund niedergeschossen--" Before he could finish his barking at Ayana, the pink blob himself would rush up from the German's side, wielding a sword of all things, and swung the sword upwards like an uppercut. The Nazi had little time to react, as once the blade hit, instead of blood gushing out, he went flying into the air, with a puff of smoke following him, as if he was joining team rocket in the sky. Kirby looked to both Tsunade and Ayana and waved to both of them to follow. This chaos was getting out of control, and things were escalating quickly. The storm was now starting to engulf them, as snow starting hitting their faces, and vision was beginning to limit as the snow came down harder. Shirou's attack on the robo-dog was successful, the particle spears shooting through the mouth of the creature and out the back end; just grazing Shirou with its corpse, before smashing into the abandoned cars behind him. The swords, however, didn't exactly do the same amount of damage to the demon creature below him, smashing into its scales, and seemingly pissing it off as it shouted out in what seemed to be pain. The mage hurt the creature, but it looked up to Shirou, climbed up the ledge to meet with him, and then shouted in its face with a roar so fearsome, if it was any of the German soldiers standing there in his place, they would be pissing golden liquid.

Yet, to the young sword mages luck, Kirby came back to help with him, suddenly now armed with a massive mallet hammer. Bouncing up to meet with the beast's head, it smashed the mallet against the creatures head. The blow knocked the beast out cold, spinning around so it fell back into the hole face first. Kirby landed on the car besides Shirou and signal him to also follow; to join with it, Ayana and Tsunade. They were getting the heck out of here. The Nazi's tried to reform again, putting their focus back on group to remove them, but from their gunfire, the explosions, the collapsing of the road, and the roars of the Deathclaw, they were all making a lot of noise. A lot. And that noise was not going unnoticed. Creatures were being attracted by it all, and a lot of them were now making their presence known. Before the Germans could even fire a shot at the group, several diverse creatures came out of nowhere, appearing from the fog of the snow, to attack. Here are some of them!

It was A LOT. Scorpions burrowed from the ground beneath them, stabbing at the Nazi's with their tails and pinchers, golems running in from out of the snow, smashing their arms against the vehicles, or against the ground so crystals suddenly shoot up from out the ground, stabbing soldiers through their armor, Bullymog's jumping down from the buildings to pounce on panicked men, jumping out the abandoned shops to grab at Nazi's to pull back into their liars, and Akird demolishing buildings from their size to reach around and slash at the puny humans for disrupting its nest. It was madness, pure and simple, and all while the snow began to blind everyone, with the chill reaching unbearable and wind freezing the skin of those without protection. Sub-Zero was doing great so far, ignoring the cold and using it kill Nazi's, but besides him, this was turning into a deathtrap of horrifying monsters and large bugs.

As Zero was attacking, just like with Ayana, a Nazi had snuck up from behind to shoot Zero in the head with his rifle, but again, Kirby came out of the literal white fog to strike at him with a sword, sending him flying. When Zero's attention was on the pink blob, he once again signaled Zero to follow, along with Hei, who was closest to Zero.

A peace between species. Sure! That would be really cool. After all, he didn't have any kind of animosity toward the other species. Yeah Baldy mc Nosehair could be a pain, but he was more the exception not a representative of the human race. In fact, humans were very friendly towards him and his friends. Except this jerks from G.U.N. but there was a slight case of misdirection.

-Sure hope so!

It was at this time that one of the human arm started glowing orange. He was going to ask if everything was okay but apparently it was just a gadget thingy acting like a radio.

When the sniper started talking about his location. He tried getting taller by standing on his toes and put his hand on top of his eyes finger protecting them from the sun.

-Woah you're really good at hiding. I can't see you anywhere.

Then the human girl with guns, Abby, offered them some guns. Well better not! He feared being bitten by the edgy bug if he ever touched one! No but to be honest, he already had his speed! What good would be a weapon firing bullets slower than he could be.

A little bit later, the spaceship were here. While he wasn't fond of staying one place without moving, his quills were still damp from his previous rescue mission. So running outside by such an artic climat was a major No No.

He climbed on board of one of the three ships. Laid down on the floor with his arms as pillow, one knee raised, the other leg resting on the raised knee while his hanging foot was beating an imaginary rhytm. Traveling was going to take some time. He closed his eyes. And waited...

Ranma

-Dunno never been here before. But ain't there some rules to follow or sumthin'?

She then reported her attention back to the fire. However the guy that was maybe cured one time too many. It kinda reminded her of this time at Tofu's clinic when Kasumi brought back a book. Yeah she could relate. But he was getting better. Although was it because he was already dead or because this healing thingamajing packed a punch. She couldn't tell, nor did she care the slightest.

But when the guy's arm started glowing orange. Well she was intrigued. She couldn't make her arm glow like that, but she had far more ki that he did she was sure. Then he started speaking to his arm showing to the world that he was another weirdo. And his arm started answering back. Great .. magic again..

People were speaking, but there was no way in hell she was gonna get involved with the weirdo and his magic arm. Magic always meant trouble! Gah fire too far! Then the angel lady offered some weapons.

She was facing a really bing cono, coni, well she really wanted the guns. But at the same time, only weakling relied on weapons only. With puppy eyes she left the guns outta her range.

Then a real spaceship, like going from planet to planet and descending from the sky appeared in front of her. This, this was too cool to be true. The angel lady even gave her back her clothes. And the big muscly boy invited her to go in. Geez she could get used to be pampered like that. Letting a bit of her Ranko persona out, she thanked them both with wide eyes. The one that gave us free samples when she was shopping.

Once inside she didn't listen to the conversation. Instead she was too busy contorting and twisting around to fiddle and touch everything she could reach in the ship. Her curiosity then brought her to the crates themselves. What could a spaceship carry all around. Before she could get an answer in the form of a smashed crate, the ship landed.

She seemed to be in a mall of some sort , she listened to the diferrent offers and shrugged.

-Well it's a store. So maybe we gonna find some clothes or sumthin' Or sumthin' for a fire.

Then there were newcomers. Damn, she didn't realize how many people died in a day! They were speaking of another spaceship.

-Then it would be easier if you told us what this ship look like... Oh yeah name's Sonic by the way.

The blue porcupine yawned and stretched. Before offering his hand for a handshake.

-Ranma Saotome, sorry 'bout this.
Alistia came up beside Thor, the healing for now appearently done. She leaned on her staff, close to him, relaxed, but still far enough away to make it clear she was neither touching, nor invading, his personal space.

"I don't know what your homeworld is like." she said simply enough, in a calm and peaceful tone. "But I know it doesn't matter. Were I there I know who I am. I am certain much of it would make little sense to me just as much of my own would make little sense to you. After all, if I were to describe to you a woman with the large ears of a rabbit whom fought valiantly utilizing chakrams and the Kriegsdance you would likely look at me as if I were slightly touched in the head. Yet that woman is an admirable guard captain whom is to be respected for her skill and talent. Meanwhile I am a Hyur with the ears, eyes, fangs, and tail of a cat who fights by getting the earth itself to throw it at my foe as well as to soothe and heal. Yet I can assure you that, were I in your world, I would not be a Miqo'te, I would not be a White Mage, I would be Alistia. And I may not know your world but I know Alistia would always do her best to stand by those in need, heal and soothe, and ward off those whom would threaten ill will. I don't know what Thor would do, only you know Thor that well, but so long as you make sure Thor remains whom he his, it doesn't matter if you are a god of thunder or whatever else. The confusion will grow but you will be able to withstand it until it, inevitably, abaits. Please... If you need a rock to stand upon to steady yourself through this confusing time, let me be your rock. I would gladly be it for all."

Lavaetain shot Alistia a glare. It wasn't hostile as she heard the woman's words but, more, of disbelief. Still, she said nothing as no orders came for her. So, at last, she could take a moment to calm herself down. She moved a bit away, still part of the group but farther from it, as she looked through the stores.

"I recognize most of these stores, but some are a bit odd to me. McDonalds, JCPenny, stuff like that. But some of these... Subway went out of business a while back. Something about it's spokeman that I didn't pay attention to at the time but probably should have. I've never heard of a 'Hot Topic' before either, but that might just be some one-off store for this place. I don't know. It feels a bit strange looking at another world yet seeing so much familiar. I'd half expect to turn a corner and find a recruitment station trying to get new recruits for the army, or a newspaper here talking about how the Mexican states are about to have their midterm elections and senator Juarez is promising some new building to try and curry favor. Yet I don't even need a paper to know that things unfolded differently here than in my own world. I wonder... What was I in this world, if those theories are true?"

She didn't get an answer as the Ponds appeared. "British Citizens?" she said, seemingly a bit happier. "Well, that's good. Tell me, is the British Empire and the American Empire, or American Republic, or United States of America, friends in your world as well? If you have a ship, well, I would be more than glad to get out of this frozen city." before, under her breath. "Another mark against Karen I guess... Didn't use this clearly freezing place to bolster her magic. Not that she needs any more marks against her."
Abby Dee/Courier Six - Character Sheet

Abby had an idea to use the cold to get out her bottles of whiskey, vodka, and nuka cola to chill in pile of snow while they got situated in one of the stores as a temporary camp. But since there was the distant sound of someone else in the building, that idea had to shelved. Much as she would love a real cold one of any of those drinks.

She takes the rear of the group as they move away from where they entered, body poised to action even with the cold air still biting at her skin. Walking backwards is almost second nature to her as the group moves along and she looks back into the darkness of the halls. Her body wants to shiver from the cold; Abby resists it through sheer force of will by focusing on the need to be ready to spring into action. What if that convoy had followed them to this mall and were coming for them? Or what if they had unwittingly dropped into a Deathclaw's den? That's happened to Abby more times than she would admit.

When all the screaming happens, Abby moves swiftly and runs around everyone to aim her rifle at the source of it all. Upon seeing it's just a pair of unarmed people, and Alec is even talking to them, Abby lowers her rifle and laughs. "So more lost folk? Lot of that goin' round. We's all lost as well, if the big blue rat ain't obvious." Abby approaches the pair and extends her left hand. The other keeps a tight grip on her rifle.

"Abby, nice to meetcha both."

Tsunade sees the buildings along one side of the street start to collapse, and jumps over to the other side on her approach to battle. This change in course puts her in the opportune position to see someone coming down the fire escape of one building she passes. Luer's shivers had calmed down during the ride on the ship, but something new happened he was less fond of even than being cold. He was dizzy, very dizzy and nauseous. He had leaned heavily on Gaeira shortly after they started moving, and he was all too eager to get off that torture device when they landed. He needed some assistance though since he could barely stay standing on his own.

He held tightly onto Gaeira at this point just to keep himself up right so he did not fall over. He could hardly concern himself with the sudden shouting, he could only groan his annoyance with it since it seemed highly inappropriate right now. He was battling not throwing up as it was. "Uuuugggh… never doing that again…" He complained. He stopped to just listen though when people started talking, glancing in the direction of the newcomers and Alec.

Most of what they were saying was nonsense to start, but he was curious about something. He never agreed to let this guy speak for him. "Who put him in charge?" He asked Gaeira with a somewhat irritated tone. For that matter he did not recall agreeing to join any sort of team to have a person in charge. Luer was not a team person anymore, he wanted nothing to do with a team. A team meant working with people, working with people meant bonding attempts and Luer was perfectly content to avoid that.

"We just arrived"
"We are lost"
"We are asking"

…How irritating. "I did not agree to be a part of your collective, Duggan." He stated, with his displeasure at the notion in his voice. Not that he would do any better on his own, given he needed the support just to stay standing right now, but that was not the point. He did not say no often, but that did not mean he did not have to consent first. Even if he did not say no, he always had to say yes or it did not happen at all… at least, it was not supposed to. He shook his head of that train of thought.

Oh, this just got weird fast. Rory and Amy both looked to Sonic with disbelief...... Sonic.......... SONIC! Sonic the hedgehog, the character from a childhood game they used to play on the damned Mega Drive back in the ninties, was now in front of them, speaking with a weirdly positive pitch in his voice, that almost seemed weirdly condescending, even though he wasn't trying to sound like that.... they thought. ".... Sonic..... the hedgehog..... The Sonic." Rory said to emphasis the point to himself and Amy, who were both astonished. After a few moments of silence, Rory finally spouted out, "We've gone insane," followed by him throwing his arms up. "We finally lost it, now we're meeting video game characters."

"And this is different from meeting lizard people under the earth?" Amy asked him, since it wasn't as though they were this unused to weirdness.

"Yes, because they weren't Sonic the hedgehog!" Rory also pointed out again, since this went beyond lizard people. "You can't tell me the character from the game we played as children being in front of us trumps anything else we've come from!"

Amy just looked to her husband with a shrugging face, before turning back to Ranma and introducing herself. "Amy Pond." She said with a smirk, "This is my husband Rory." And shook the young girl's hand. "Don't mind him, he gets that way sometimes."

"And for good reason!" Every now and again they needed some voice of reason and sanity in their minds.

Amy then listened to what Lava had to say, a bit confused, and quickly clarifying the moment she stopped speaking. "Ummmm, yeah, we're friends with the US, but we're not so much a kingdom anymore, just a regular ol' country. I don't think we might have that much in common with the whole worlds thing." Meaning they were from alternate realities, so things might not be the same, and expect there to be severalbig changes between them. Abby spoke next, with Amy shaking. "Amy and Rory Pond. Like your accent." The Scottish girl pointed out. When Dusk came lumbering out of the shop, both Ponds eyes widened, with Rory going, "Whoooa..." As if he was trying to calm a horse. He was probably the most scary looking of everyone in the group, except he had several hats hanging off his head, which took away from that menacing look. ".... Niiiiiice hats?" Rory commented, with a small thumbs up to follow.

With the mentions of their ship from Lava and Trigger though, the Ponds had little to answer with. "Well we gotta find it first," Amy answered, "that and its driver." She muttered the last part, looking around the darkened hallways for any sign of a very loud mouth, often obnoxious sounding man. But nothing. "Anyone seen a guy with a bowtie around here? Tweed jacket, suspenders, might be wearing a fez if these shops have one."

"Nooooo, you're the first people we've met here." Alec answered, before Luer's collective line coming from out of nowhere. The Scotsman turned with a confusion expression towards the archer. "Well, fuckin' too bad, buddy, we're all kinda stuck here, not much we can do."

"No, I agree with him, I should be the leader." Thor suddenly chimed in. "I'm clearly the strongest, and I saved your life by rescuing you from a drowned ship, plus, not to be so judgemental,"

"That sounds like an understatement."

"But you did vomit back at the building,"

"I didn't do that on purpose!"

"And I didn't, soooooo..... Clearly I have more composure than you all."

"I'm not saying you can't be the leader, but I don't think now's a good time to discuss this."

"We're in shelter, now's the best time. Besides, Luer doesn't like you, so I immediately get his vote, can I count on the two of you?" He pointed to Alken and Gaeira, wanting their vote on the matter. "Big man, who do you like more?" He then pointed to Dusk to get his opinion.

"See? I'm clearly the more likable one here. Plus, I'm king of Asguard, one of the most mightiest kingdoms in all the seven realms of my world... I-It did get destroyed, but home is not with land, it's with its people, so I still run a mighty kingdom."

"I don't wanna argue this, I just wanna find out where Garrus is and maybe get some goddamn food and warmth!" Alec shouted.

"Stop shouting!" Amy then shouted back. "You're acting like children for goodness sake!"

"I agree. Likability does not always make the best leader anyway." Callintus added. "But our focus must be on making this shelter suitable. If this Garrus is anywhere within the building, he must have a stockpile of supplies around here." They were all cold, and they needed more warmth.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Spriggan picked up the fire ax following the doctor with a loud clunk of one foot. Yet to loose her foot from its icy prison gravel and ice darken the boots to pronounce much thicker. Lumbered gait if nothing else than by a nest of icicle whorls. Tops and bottoms fused to the hip and chest that immobilize her midsection. The portal's energy cause dim oily sheens of trapped and bent light. Worried voices on the other side busied more with answers to the doctor's questions. Kept up with the doctor by strength alone her head grew heavy at the fading Mundus. Intent to answer his many questions on their way the block or so to the other side of the mall and before dark.

The effort of that slide-clunk-step left her rustling voice unharmed, "When life breathed into the land Spriggans arose. Set to be its defenders. In time Bosmer forgot how to call us, walkers of the end. Ours to capture lost souls and return them to the Dreamsleeve for rebirth. Persecuting the diseases that threaten from breaches on natural laws. With the light of the sun on soil over our broken body, we regrow without end. Nature will not subdue with ease. You heal the breaches Haassethur? We must unwrite and engulf their masters."

Her eyes lit up far more than figuratively at the name, "In that duty then we... I will be Reegan, Haassethur, but I am only one. The back of this land is already broken and held in submission. A thing that snapped its spine tries to contain us. All the ones I have seen are of strong backs and wills."

Ax in hand waved to the group beyond a set of dog tags slipping free from her chest. Evidence of the two dead she'd already reclaimed from Alec's former trio. Face placid if still a bit flat on each side.

A finger points at the stores then to the group continued, "Heroes here where justice is long gone, Haassethur, where you are now the threat is not. Territory already secured by disease. We think this place is to occupy or destroy heroes that would fight."

She shrugged likely in earshot now, "Oblivion tried this from the land where my roots lie. Life's champion sacrificed the future king to summon an avatar of the dragon-god of time. The gates to Oblivion opened by Dagon the prince of destruction to threaten all life. Then driven by Akatosh's avatar back to their prison. Haassethur, we know only that if I exist then life itself fears this threat."

As the Spriggan and Doctor ventured forth into the mall, a voice echoed out from behind. "Well, for a being that's meant to enduce fear into the hearts of men, you sure are a friendly one." Out from the shadows came an alien in blue armor, holding a sniper rifle. The light from the cracks in the ceiling illuminated his face. It was Garrus Vakarian, hero of the Citadel, and loyal friend to one commander Shepard. Though, obviously, the doctor or Spriggan would know that. "Garrus Vakarian. Pleasure." The Turian introduced himself, putting a hand out to shake the Doctor's. "Welcome to my little paradise. Bit run down, but it's better than 90% of the other places here. At least we don't have giant spiders trying to kill us. Come on," He waved for both of them to follow. "The group Spriggan arrived with came here not too long ago, think they're still by the giant hole in the ceiling."

Sure enough, a short walk later, from the cat walk above the main group, there the Doctor, Spriggan and Garrus could see them all. Including the Ponds. With a whistle from Garrus, he waved to the main group with his omni-tool, glowing a bright orange color to alert them of where they were. And even from below, Amy could see who was with the alien..... Well, the less human alien anyway. "Doctor!" Amy shouted in joy, running up the stopped escalator to give her childhood friend a big ol' hug. She embraced him for a few silent seconds before, breaking away, putting both her hands on his shoulders, and telling him, "You left me outside in the cold!" Like that was his fault.

----------------------------------------------------------------

With all of them back together, Garrus showed them to where he had made his shelter within the mall. It was a large JC Penny's, with a fireplace in the back of the store burning from pieces of clothing, destroyed pieces of wooden benches, parts of the front desk, and anything else flammable within the stores he could use. Along with that, he had a massive stockpile of food, drinks, and collected clothing for everyone to wear to add more layers to fend off the chill. Most of the food was canned, but thankfully they had some pans and pots to cook it, along with plates and silverware. Alec was sat besides the fire, feasting on some canned rice and chicken, sprinkled with pepper and salt, with some canned thai food roasting on a pan; making a wonderful sizzling noise. "Help yourself to whatever you want." Garrus told them all, sitting besides the fire with everyone else.

"So how long have you been here?" Alec asked with a mouthful of chicken.

"Three months. Got a bit hecktic when I first arrived, because I was trapped between two guardians and several squid like creatures attacking them. Joined forces, but we only lasted a week before we were ambushed by a pack of bandits also trapped here with us. We had supplies, and they wanted them."

"Have you meet anyone else from the alliance? Hell, is Shepard around here?"

"No to both, it's only been me, and you're the first friendly human soldier I've seen around here. No idea if Shepard or anyone else from the Normandy are here."

"And I'm guessing you haven't a clue how we got here."

"Correct."

Shirou saw that the situation was rapidly spiralling out of control. His attacks against the Deathclaw seemed to only deal relatively minor injuries to it, and more and more strange monsters were emerging on the battlefield. Thankfully, the little pink guy seemed to know where to go, and was actively gesturing for them to follow it. Given how well it handled itself in combat, he decided to trust it.

"Koko kara deru hitsuyō ga arimasu!" He shouted first in Japanese to the other non-hostiles, before switching to English. "Come on! We need to get out of here!"

He then projected another large cluster of Noble Phantasms, keeping the floating weapons close in a defensive formation as he followed close behind Kirby. "Issho ni ite kudasai, watashitachi ni kabā o ageru tsumoridesu! Stay close together, I'll give us some cover!"

Nomad

To anyone else, this would be getting too crazy to handle.

But where Nomad came from, this was the norm. From the two civies that didn't seem fazed beyond saying something about 'meeting video game characters.' Whatever that meant, and the alien that could've been a Hunter from how long he spent here.

Now he and the others were gathered in an abandoned store, huddled around a campfire as some ate and the others needed the simple warmth of the fire. He didn't need either, benefits of being a walking dead person powered by the power of the Traveler.

"Mind if I play some tunes to lighten the mood around here?" He'd ask as he began to play a random song. Eye Dee Kay playing it unwillingly through his speakers, not too loud but just enough that the group could hear it clearly.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Delsin

He slightly cringed at the song playing from the flying rubix cube, the song was old like something from the fifties. Frank Sinatra if Delsin recognized the singer.

"Was expecting more techno music from you. Or something someone would find in an AMV." He'd say to the cloaked man, who was twirling the golden revolver he had. Whom only shrugged.

Delsin would help himself to a nice plate of canned chicken alfredo, not the greatest thing, as he rather missed what Betty cooked and whatever his roommates would come up with in terms of food combination. One pleasant surprise was peanut butter and cheese sandwich. Sure, it was an acquired taste, but depending on what cheese can greatly affect the experience.

"So, how did we all get here, some big bad villain seeking to do some bad guy things, like steal the stones or something?" He'd ask the alien known as Garrus.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hei

As the robot dog thing neared him, he'd dive under the thing as it lunged forward with its metallic jaws opened wide to rip him apart, he would press his hand against the weak spot where the thing's armor was the least covering, and would send enough volts to bring down a whale. Or a rough estimate, what came next was an utter surprise as instead of the thing collapsing and no longer a threat, the thing began to jump around enough that the concrete cracked where it jumped and Hei had to jump out of the way several times as it charged without thought, attacking anything it saw, even the Nazi soldiers it was grouped with, slamming into them and chewing them into pieces, then the random creatures that showed up from the chaos.

This was getting too hectic, so the most rational thing was to follow the small group with the pink blob as they got the hell out of dodge.

He had to slow down so he didn't run too far ahead of them.

They'd need to find shelter quickly. Or the cold would get them before the creatures did.....

The Doctor's attention was plainly focused on his surroundings. Making sure nothing would leap out at them and surprise the pair of them. But his head tilted slightly at Reegan's unusual turn of phrase. "Depending on how well we can agree on what a 'breech' is, it sounds like you Spriggans and I will get along like houses on fire. Which, I'll admit, I wouldn't much mind at this very moment although I very well imagine you might. Mind, I mean."

He finished parsing the rest of the conversation with a slightly pained expression, followed by a look of real concern. "Right. Heroes from various realities, brought here to fight or survive. Would you believe this isn't the first or even the tenth time this has happened to me?" Chuckling, the young man's animate face grew still once more as humor fled. "But there's realities and then there's this. Whatever did this has power on an absolutely massive scale. Possibly more power than I've ever seen, and I didn't think that was still possible."

"We'd better find the others," the Doctor finished, wringing his hands, though it's hard to say if it's in distress or just from the cold.

@AIM Leader Wade
At which point Garrus turned up. The Doctor spun on one heel and if he was shocked to see a nightmare in blue armor with a gun pointed at him, it didn't show. Instead, naked curiosity lit the features of the young man with old eyes. "Garrus Vakarian? Call me the Doctor and this is my dear friend who I'm calling Reegan. Marvelous to meet a friendly, er, face. You wouldn't be Sontarian, would you? A variant? No? Blimey, that armor looks familiar."

"Oh, you've seen others then, have you? Brilliant. Lead on, won't you?" And clearly the Doctor was energized by Garrus' good news and promptly picked up the pace. When the Turian lit up his Omni-Tool, the Time Lord's eyes went wide and he stared in absolute fascination before being promptly blindsided by a fierce redhead. Returning the hug with evident affection, the Doctor scratched the back of his head sheepishly and said, "Left us in the cold, you see. No TARDIS for the moment. She's...ah, she's under the weather a bit." The Doctor frowned as he took in his companion and the large number of people gathered just beyond her. "Ah, there's Rory," he said, brightening by an inch at the sight of his other companion. "Lovely. Have you met the neighbors then already? Introduce me, won't you?"

Garrus' little shelter was well received by the Time Lord and he promptly made use of the fireplace to warm up his hands before going around, shaking hands with anyone willing. The Doctor eyed the canned food suspiciously before moving on to something much more interesting; the people here and their situation.

Rubbing his hands together enthusiastically, the Time Lord stood up and addressed the crowd gathered near the fireplace and cooking food. "Right, first thing's first. None of you belong here A cosmological instability brought you here from another universe entirely. If it was anything like mine, it's more powerful than even the Time Scoop of Gallifrey's Death Zone. I tried a Temporal Reverse Feedback Field to escape it and it wasn't remotely enough. Which puts us in rather dire straits I'm afraid."

"But first, let's look at the facts. One, the cosmological instability is transient. What little I could see suggests it's not a naturally occurring event, nor could it possibly be given the tremendous amount of power it takes to bridge the barriers between universes. That means something brought us here."

"Two, it also means that something is likely our only chance of getting home."

"Three, we've been brought together. Here, on a dying world, a world in ruins. If experience is anything to go by, we should expect to be attacked at any moment so I'll try to make the rest of this quick. Four, we need to work together. Five, we have only the resources we have on hand so let's pool what we have, whether it's foreign technology or knowledge, we'll need it all to survive this. Six, if we can last for the next few hours or days, my ship will finish repairing and our chances will improve an order of magnitude once that's happened."

The Doctor paused again before flashing another brilliant smile as he turned in place, craning his neck to look at them all. "And seven. I'll save you. I'll save as many of you as I can. That's a promise."

"Now, I understand there's at least a ship or two on hand. Have they collected any data on this planet? Is this the most defensible place we can be or should we relocate? What do we know about the star system we're in?"

Spriggan nodded to the doctor as they went then gripped her ax tight as Garrus introduced himself. Creaks came as she loosed her grip deciding the.... Garrus was not a bandit. Voices her own reminded her that of his voice familiar to the building. So this was their concerned onlooker?

Goaded by her voices to make the effort for a smile her sluggish face unflattened itself to do so, "Hello, Garrus. Allies must be made. Enemies will introduce themselves. Threats to the whole must not be ridden against alone."

She spied a brick wall as they walked collapsing the cinderblock with leg strikes to free it adding, "Men should fear me on the new moon, when Mudus' light is gone, ignorant of the willing souls as my conscience. Should wisdom turn their backs I will rip and tear until it is done. Unless an ally calls our name."

Bent down plucked a large root broken off from her foot among the icy rubble to more quickly follow. Without complaint carried in her off hand. Numb from the cold felt little and worried less as it would regrow soon enough. There were uses of it for the Mer she could employ.

The use of his omnitool gained more of a shout from the Kajiit voice in her head. As with Garrus' use understanding what the little bracelets were for. Reegan stared with curiosity at the projection if nothing because of the loud whoop it gave in the back of her head. There were some unintelligible mutterings as they puzzled out how it worked.

Reegan stepped out of the way for the happy woman with no particular threat to her. As they both embraced followed Garrus to the others instead. Though along the way she plunked longsword and axe into a nearby plant pot big enough for her to stand in. Hefted with effort as Mundus waned.

She passed Dusk along the way and eyed the hats on his horns. Not a dremora as far as she could tell, in spite of his look, much less his actions.

An open thought she verbalized to Dusk while planter in hand, "Do they have ones that fit on my head stump? The end is cold. Your hats do you well. Maybe I need cloth tubes."

Setting light within her body from the growing hour set planter down. Clunked to free space close enough to the fire she could stay warm.

Absently hearing the doctor after being told of the supplies gathered a pot instead. A small cutting knife as well. Empty eyes looked to the others as Haasethur mentioned her name head flowers bobbing in acknowledgement. She stopped near Alec while Garrus and he were talking waiting patiently to deliver as her interred suggested.

Bell strikes of clinking dog tags from her shoulders placed them near his lap, "One regrets they cannot be here. The other is too far in the carin to hear. We feel you should have these."

Not waiting for a response she clambered in the dead dirt with a clenched mouth and wrinkled brow. It would serve to regrow her injuries and her missing parts. She quietly set the pan down to take the knife in her other hand and start cutting the root in slices. They plunked in the pot and she crushed some ice melting within her abdomen for water atop it.

When the Haassethur asked for supplies she absently replied, "I have two suits, two pistols I have forgotten most of, two of the glow bracelets, my longsword, an ax, and a short-bow."

Hand flexing hard a serviceable but poor shortbow creaked and split out of her forearm. The gulf of glow, hum, woodgrain, and vines resealing as it surfaced into her hand. Placed with the other weapons she returned to slicing.

Sonic:

He kind of didn't expect to be called a videogame. Of course he knew what a videogame was. But he didn't know that someone made a videogame based on him. Wow talk about being a hardcore fan. At least it wasn't Amy level of infatuation. Still his running away instinct was kicking in. So he just decided to, get back to the group in case one of them would go "Sonikku".

So they were from other worlds, well nothing they didn't already know about. Then there was this gigantic monster coming to their direction. At long last time for...some... actions? No he was with them. At least he could dig the style.

-Nice style buddy!

Before he understood what happened the first major crisis of their rag-tag group happened. But mr God of thunder here wanted to be the leader. Not that he did like being ordered around. But he did give knucklehead a chance and... that wasn't so bad. However this didn't look like a legit way to be elected.

-Wow, hold on there buddy, pretty sure that's not how you elect someone!

Finally they managed to calm everyone and decided to go look for this Garrus guy. That's when the red haired girl, Ranma came back with a whole load of clothes from... wherever with the grin of the cat who ate the canary.

-Wha' did I miss?

***

Ranma

A videogame character? Like this yellow thingy eating dots and being chased by ink blot with eyes. She did see her classmate speaking of it, or spending money on it. She even saw her father being chased by the resident disguised as an arcade born.

Seeing that video games character had multiple lives, it was normal that once they died, they ended up here while at the same time another life would be played. Seeing there was only one Speedix pr something games must have really been garbage.

She shrugged when Amy explained about her husband.

-It's okay I'm used to it! Ya wouldn't believe how weirdoes always find... me?

Speaking of weirdoes, one giant monster with multiple hats went their way. He didn't seem hostile so. Still she wondered if he ever went to Jusenkyo. Then something clicked in her mind. He had hats! HATS! That meant clothes. And clothes meant not being goddamned cold! With a Gottagobye! she was gone.

She found the store quite easily, and started looking for heavy and cold protecting clothes. And no she wasn't shopping, she was taking what was needed the manliest way. Nah not this color wouldn't go with her eyes.

Soon she was wearing three sweater and a coat while carrying a pile bigger than she was. People would say she was shop lifting but if there was no one in the store that wasn't theft.

She then stumbled upon the group.

-Wha' did I miss?

No one ever told her cause a whistle came from up there. Seeing Amy face, it seems they were friends, yeah she kinda recognised the plant girl there, and this guy must be her friend. So who was this guy, man he looked like the old ghoul, but bigger. Was he an Amazon too? Well she would keep an eye on this one.

Balancing her clothes on one hand as if this was nothing she joined them in a few jumps.

Once they reached the food she lunged at the cans letting her clothes scatter here and there. She didn't understand any of the words that were written on it. Honestly gaijin and their weird alphabet. Guess she would take this one! No this one! Or maybe this one?

Little by little the place was full of people. The blue rodent ws sleeping next to the fire as if nothing mattered. And she was looking at this strange thing in her plate. There was something looking like ramen. But much much longer with a red sauce and diced tomatoes plus beef roled into a ball. Using two forks as make shift sticks she took a tentative bite, at least it couldn't be worse than 'kane's.

-Hey! Thatsh pretty good.

Tuning the rest of her world off she focused on the food in front of her, then when her plate was clean she helped herself with other's food.

"I'm not entirely sure why we were teleported here in the first place." said Lavaetain in response to the doctors statements. "But I suspect it's probably a resoundingly simple explanation. Within my world interdimensional travel is only a theory but teleportation magic exists and has been regularly used since the first days of magic. There's a lot involved such as rune inscriptions and the like, of which I won't bore you with the details. However one constant concern is that a failure to properly select a target can lead to being warped to an unknown location. What was odd though was that, despite the statistical probability that anyone missing a teleportation would end up in a random location or at least along predictable lines, they would be inevitably teleported to certain specific areas which seemed to hold no significance on a physical or magical level. The primary theory was that teleportation required entering through an alternate dimension or sub dimension and, while these locations held no significant value within our own, they did within the dimension that was being teleported through. Had the rebellion not started against the Emperor our Mars initiative would have been launched last year and one of its goals was to not only use golems to create a successful and viable teleportation station but to then proceed to see if we could create a magic portal to another dimension on Mars, or maybe Phobos and Deimos, in a contained environment. Though, as a fire elemental, teleportation magic is not something I am capable of it was one of the classes I did find interesting back in college. If the theories hold true it may be that this area is an utterly insignificant ruin in-so-far as it's own world is concerned but for a being, or beings, capable of such a feat it may be an extremely convenient dumping ground for unwanted, or undesired, peoples. Effectively, we were thrown out the proverbial window of our own home and this world was the 'wall' outside we smashed into while they go through our home unchallenged."

"That's an awfully wordy way to say 'it was convenient'." remarked Alistia. "But I do admit it makes sense. Might even explain why the world is so ruined here. Because other beings have been teleported here and they, inevitably, end up fighting and causing harm. I wish I could help more. This is hardly my first time cross dimensions. But I know not a spell to allow us to travel back on my own as it was always the capabilities of others that sent me from one world to the next. But... I also know that I will do my best to help you out, along with anyone else, to keep us all safe until we return to our homes."

Dusk
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------

People were finally gathering together. The tree creature, along with its new friend, had joined in on the group. From the red-haired girl's reaction, the doctor was a friend. Dusk wasn't totally sure what he felt after seeing the interaction, but it was nice. It was some type of feeling of warmth within his stomach, allowing him to relax even more than he usually was. The large man who called himself thor then asked for Dusk's attention. He asked Dusk something about being the leader but to be honest, he didn't care which of them he followed.

Once all the introductions were done with and people were settling into their own little corners of Garrus's hideout, it wasn't quite as spastic as it was before. The doctor spoke of something about cosmological instability, and other words that Dusk didn't really understand. He more decided to focus on the tree creature, which he was still unsure of what to call. Not that knowing its name would matter since communication was hard for him. It was vaguely similar to the plants back home, except that it had some form of sentience. Dusk was very fascinated to see it care for itself the way it did. On many occasions, Dusk had seen his own plants remove parts of themselves in order to reduce the rotting that came with age. This wasn't the usual with plants, so it was very interesting to see the rare event occur with a sentient on. The tree creature even carried several tools with it. Out of the people that had joined the group, this one was the most interesting to look at to Dusk. He loved plants in all their wonder. It was nice to see them grow through age and time. Dusk had seen many meaty creatures that could pique interest, but plants always were something that he could understand. All he needed to do was water them, and that was all that it came to in terms of truly caring for his plants. He couldn't talk to them or even really touch them due to his insane strength. Watering provided him with enough happiness though. It was too bad that He didn't have his watering can with him, otherwise he would have tried to water the plant creature.

Dusk slowly got up and started pacing. He needed something to do in these times when things moved to a stop. Without his plants, he would usually sink into his own thoughts. His mind thought of home, of the several skeletons that laid in the streets, almost entirely decayed from age. It usually wasn't a pretty sight, which is why he didn't want to think about it at all times. The fire that sat in the middle of the hideout wasn't much help either, giving him thoughts back to the time of his birth. He remembered seeing many creatures burn before his very eyes, and him being left alone, enraged for no apparent reason. Dusk tapped his chin to find that a part of his skeletal face was cracked. It wasn't a good sign. He then went to sit in a corner, away from everyone and staring at the designs on the wall.

He was then brought out of focus by the tree creature asking him for clothing of some sort. Dusk would have asked a question as to why a plant would need clothing, but he was unable to due to the lack of a mouth. He shrugged and got up again and plucked a few pieces of clothing from Ranma's pile and deposited them in front of the spriggan. He then gave a thumbs up and sat down again, feeling at the cracks where a mouth would be.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Trigger
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Trigger didn't care who was leading the group, as long as they got stuff done. He patted Alec on the shoulder, "well at least your doing ok so far…" he mumbled as he walked past and into the shop. The ragtag group of outcasts and weirdos had all gathered around the fire, asking questions and pondering their situation. It wasn't the most comfortable of positions, but it would do. During everybody talking, the doctor mentioned that they might have to stay there for hours or even days. Trigger would have not been concerned if he had only mentioned hours, but days were another story. He got up and stretched from where he was staying. "Now you listen here Mr. funky science man, I'm not going to stay here in this rusty shop for days, so you better have that ship fixed soon or I'm gonna shoot something," he said. Trigger then sat back down and put two fingers up "and two-" he mocked "-who says that you're going to save us? It's not like we are damsels in distress looking for someone to have sex with" He pointed a thumb back at Dusk "except maybe this wacko thing since we have no idea what it is, but that's not my problem," he then sighed. Trigger hated depending on others, and he never did. Depending on others meant that he would be weak in some form or another, which just wasn't his style. "I'll take watch and make sure nothing comes towards the shop," he finally said, getting up to leave. He then leaned on the outer wall of the shop and took off his mask. It probably wasn't the best thing to do when he was stressed, but at times it was just annoying to wear. Trigger glanced down at his pistol and thought of home.

The planet of Eboria was so different than the one Trigger had been placed into. This new one was cold and dead, almost hitting a nerve within Trigger's psyche that he just couldn't grasp. Eboria's world felt more like it had been through its fair share of pain, and was recovering from it. Trigger knew that wasn't true though, as Eboria had a massive dictator on one end and a sleazy and shadowy organization on the other. It was almost impossible to think that Eboria was done. Trigger hated his inevitable doom, so he usually kept himself distracted with either alcohol or killing, preferably killing. It wasn't like he just killed anyone though, it was the people who hadn't served their crimes. The populace usually called him a menace or some cruel vigilante, but it didn't matter. He just liked killing those that hadn't paid. That's enough of that he thought. He needed to think about keeping watch, not about his hobbies.

Reegan's remarks about being fear inspiring on the new moon drew a nervous look from the Doctor. He looked like he wanted to ask about it but watching the Spriggan grooming herself, which amounted to mutilating herself, preoccupied him.

Her contribution of a pile of weapons drew a disapproving look from the young man with the rather wild hair. "I said foreign technology or knowledge, these are...well, I suppose they have their uses as tools but in my experience, thinking's the only thing that can get one out of a jam. Put a weapon in the hand of most people and what do you think happens? They stop," and he emphatically tapped an index finger against one temple to make the point.

"Oh well, can't be helped. Let's have a look at this, shall we?" The Doctor promptly scooped up one of the Omni-Tools and marveled at it.

@Yoru
Still absently fiddling with the Omni-Tool, the Doctor spoke in Sonic's direction, saying "What's not how you elect someone?" Glancing up, the Time Lord in tweed peered down at Sonic and his brow drew tightly together in concentration. "Sorry, just came in, must have missed the rest of that. You're...you're some kind of...well I don't know actually. Lovely to meet you!" And he offered to shake.

@Snowtwo
Lavaetain's long and complicated explanation of the intricacies of magical teleportation draw nods from the Doctor, head-bobbing more like rather than actual agreement, even as he muttered, "Right. Yes. Good. Go on. Wait, no, what?" And finally, at the end, he straightened and just said "What? Rubbish. Well, perhaps not. Not in your cosmological constant anyway."

Switching his gaze back and forth between Lavaetain and Alistia, he scratched the back of his head, which mostly just mussed his already wild hair up a bit further. "It'd help if I had a fifth dimensional topography to work with but it's sort of like this. Conventional travel through space is sort of from point a to b. Travel through time is like x to y. Dimensional travel is more of alpha to beta, if you follow. They all map to an axis, to a central fixed reference point. But separate cosmologies are something else entirely. Whatever your method involves, the one constant is massive, absolutely massive amounts of power. What's interesting is that some force didn't just do it once to one of us, or even once to loads of us but multiple times to multiple other cosmologies. Why?" Wild-eyed, the Doctor brandished a finger and waved it about erratically. "Why go through all that trouble and then just...put us out with the bin?"

Forcing a smile, he said a bit more gently, "Thank you, though. I'm only assuming the cosmological principles of this universe are like my own but there's no good reason they should be. What you know may end up being far more valuable than what I know. Stick together and we double our odds, eh? What do you say?" he finishes with a grin.

@Wiggin
At which point a rather angry young man began yelling at him. The Doctor pivoted on one heel and nearly overbalanced before, with an unsteady gyration, he found his balance. Then he frowned at the man. Well, more like frowned up at him. The unusual eyes to say nothing of a breathing apparatus both drew the Time Lord's curiosity but he remained alert to what the young man had to say. With another frown, the Doctor straightened a pair of suspenders he wore under his tweed jacket and then lifted a hand of his own.

"My ship will be fixed when she's fixed! She's a delicate piece of work, you know, after all she's been through. That said, unless you know of a way off this planet and more importantly back to your cosmological frame of reference, you might as well resign yourself to being here a good long time." The Doctor straightened his bowtie and offered a helpless smile. "And thank you for rather nicely proving my point about what happens when most people pick up a weapon."

"As for saving you, it's just something that seems to happen more often than you'd think. That said, I wouldn't object to being saved now and then. Amy? Rory? Are you listening?" he said, speaking up towards the couple nearby. The Time Lord turned back only to find Trigger already wandering off to evidently keep watch. Standing there a bit awkwardly, the Doctor finally noticed Dusk and immediately sauntered on up, looking at him with unblinking eyes. Not the look of someone seeing a nightmare but more the look of someone seeing a Christmas present and wandering what might be inside when unwrapped.

"Oh, you beauty," he murmured.

A nod to the doctor's assessment she first put the knife down to gather bits from inside. Skeletal hands reached through ivy from inside to offer the two small bracelets. Not a body-sized internment she hadn't needed the whole portal and the objects were small enough to fit. Items retrieved instead by her hand vanishing to the elbow into her mouth as she received them. The Omni-tool plunked the pair onto the pile of weapons.

The doctor took one and she replied after a moment, "Nature is both brutal and serene but not merciful. Such is a Spriggan's nature. Those interred by choice gives us the soul's wisdom by the light of Mundus. My We are among Nord guards, Bosmer priests, and Khajiiti grifters. They did not inter diplomats. I am willing to listen but I will not hesitate, Haassethur. The priest knows enough of us I can make a potion for healing from what will not reattach."

An eyebrow raised in acrid irritation to some unheard party, "We know every skill you know, Khajiit. We know what one uses them for. Blame the priest."

The discussion of dimensions was beyond the scope of her knowledge so ignored them for the most part. The clothes from Dusk were more welcome to her attention as the exposed wound on her head grew quite cold. A broken ironwood spar exposed to the elements. One part of her crown with splintered open edge knit outward by millimeters. A fragile inner green glow still visible.

Bent over the edge to the pile of clothing Reegan chose a thick knee-sock and two scarves for her legs. An armor against the cold wind to sensitive portions. Toe of the sock tied loose to one of the other spars in her crown. The insulation taking less of her body's effort to keep warm her hair re-bloomed the flowers taken by ice. Short wisteria ladders pouring down between the curved ironwood crown. Dirt recovers from its long isolation that her root-feet immersed within. The touch freed faint alpine grasses to peek from the edge of the large planter.

Inner conversation partly ignored looked at the sitting Dusk but had no names to call them. An affinity to the wild she saw them closer to herself than the others. Mer were social creatures not predators in need of restraint. In absence of something to call, as he did not speak, chose the first thing in Dovahzul that came to mind. Color and demeanor, Silent light/rightness orphan, of one that seemed both so lost and dark.

Stood in the pot Reegan pointed blooms swaying perfume, "Nahlotkunoth, I need many of my petals. Yet my root is tough to prepare. Will you assist again to pick them for me? Do not worry about injury, I am strong and they regrow. I must finish before the light sets. Haassethur with you may be busy with the others."

Before resuming cutting slivers from sturdy root attended the frigidity of her legs. One end of scarf knots to her ankles then spirals to her thigh to tether within an opening spilling fading light. It wasn't much but kept the wind from stealing what little heat kept her sap from freezing. In front of the fire, sap flows free even in the dying light of Mundus in arctic winds. More than sturdy and strong enough that dusk wouldn't break her with ease.

"That is not the point…" Luer muttered to himself. Just because everyone was stuck here did not mean he had to be included in a group against his will. It was no different than being kidnapped that way. He glanced to Thor curiously when the god spoke in agreement with him. He ruined it though when he said he should be leader, making the archer slap his forehead softly in irritation. They are all idiots! He complained to himself, pinching the bridge of his nose for a moment and shaking his head just slightly so as not to make himself any more disoriented. "That is not the point…" He repeated.

"You are not getting my vote either. You apparently are not listening to me." Luer stated before shaking his head once more with a heavy sigh of defeat. "Forget it…" He finally said. It would not be the first time he was forced into something anyway. He was too tired and too dizzy to deal with it right now. He glanced up at the whistle, raising a brow to the man. It did not seem to take long for everyone to trust them right away, which again left the archer with less than pleasant feelings about any of this. He did not trust any of them… Gaeira aside. He felt he could trust a man that would save his life despite the circumstances.

Once the group had their weird reunions he wrapped his arm over Gaeira's shoulder and followed the rest of them. His blanket had provided enough protection from the cold bite of the SOLDIER's armor that he could touch it without worry. It was still cold, but he was still dizzy. He was willing to handle the cold over not being able to walk properly by himself right now.
—————————————————————————
When they arrived he situated himself behind everyone else. The fire was crowded and he wasn't interested in dealing with these people too much just for the sake of warming up by it. He would be fine… He shook his head to deny any offer of the dry clothes or food. He was fine in what he was wearing. He may be wet but he did not want to risk ending up in something too tight that he could not move in or something too loose that he tripped over to got caught on. Perhaps he was being too stubborn, or too cautious, but he did not really care. He was not even really that hungry right now… If anything, that part was what concerned him the most.

The archer gave Gaeira a reassuring smile. The man tried to help him, but he really was not sure what to tell him right now. Perhaps it was a bout of depression, but he really was not hungry. He brought his knees up to his chest and wrapped his blanket around them as well before closing his eyes and just listening to the others. Three months… he has been here three months and not gotten home? I am going to be stuck here forever then… He thought to himself with a heavy sigh. While he could not say he really wanted to go home, because he knew that would not be possible, he did at least want to be in his world where things made sense and he could revel in a semblance of comfort. This was insane… this could not be real. Maybe when he fell asleep, he would wake for all of this to be a dream.

He twitched as someone started playing some strange music, directing a brief glare in the direction the sound came from. It was hard enough to relax with all this chatter, the music did not help. He eyed the doctor with a raised brow when the man held his hand out to him, unsure just what he was expecting him to hand over. It did not seem the man cared much since after a moment he simply moved on to someone else.

He shook his head to ignore whatever that was. He groaned to himself as he laid his head back down when that same man began to speak to everyone very loudly. Could these people not be quiet at all?? Most of what he was saying made no sense, and why was he trying to take charge too!? Although Luer was content to continue complaining about everything, something the blue clad man said did catch his attention and brought his gaze back up.

There was a way back? A couple days… he had to deal with this lot for a few more days. If he was somehow still sane after this it might be worth it to go back to his boring life. All he had to do was tough it out then. He huffed softly though and laid his head back down once more at the man's words. 'Save' was a broad term, and depending on what he meant, the archer did not want to be 'saved'. He glanced to Trigger though when he spoke up and grunted softly. What kind of comparison was that? He sighed and just laid his head back down. These people were all annoying and all crazy. Gaeira and his friend were the only tolerable ones here right now.

Anything beyond that speech was nonsense he was content to ignore. He just wanted this to be over. Perhaps some sleep would do him well, a shiver reminded him he was still cold and an attempt to sleep would not go well with all these noisy people. As light a sleeper as he was they could cough and he would wake, so this noise was impossible for him to sleep in. He would just rest, since sleeping was not possible. It would serve the same purpose, anyway.

Abby Dee/Courier Six - Character Sheet

"Why thank ya kindly. Like yours too. Sounds kinda like Alec's here." She looks between Alec and Amy. "Which is mighty odd, seein' none of us seem to be from the same place." She returns the compliment adding her own observation and relaxing her grip on The Survivalist. Something about these two just made her think they weren't about to turn on the group with weapons. Even if they were to whip out some fantastical thing to try and hurt them, Abby is certain from experience she could put two large caliber bullets between their eyes at a moment's notice. She'd feel bad to do it to the pretty redhead with an attitude, but survival came before personal tastes.

She was intrigued by the pair being surprised to be meeting Sonic, the big blue rat.

A video game character? Like the Red Menace? Abby looks over at Sonic. Must just look like something from wherever they came from.

The 'Whoooa' uttered by the man gets Abby to follow their gaze to...the nightmare creature coming out of a shop laden with hats on its horns. One of them, a brown Stetson, catches her eye but she wasn't inclined to come up on the thing and ask for it. Yes the thing was peaceful so far. One of the most peaceful of the group actually. But still it was a thing made of a skull and darkness.

The blue haired guy who looked like he had a stick up his rear spoke up about not being asked to be part of the group. Then the hunk named Thor put up his name for consideration as leader; despite not actively doing anything to lead everyone so far, Abby would have added in, if she cared enough. She was more annoyed the men were arguing about such a dumb thing, and Amy took the words right out of her mouth.

"Right, what she said. Buncha children I reckon." Abby voiced her agreement but looks pointedly at the one named Luer.

The whistle makes the Courier go for her weapon again, but she doesn't level it up at the source, as along with the strange armored man and the living tree they had left behind was the one Amy had described and with whom she has a heartfelt reunion. She could tell in those moments there was a lot of history between Amy and this man she only called 'Doctor'.

Garrus leads the group from there to his camp inside a huge clothing store. Abby happily puts on a couple layers of shirts under her SWAT vest while the others talk. From the bits she catches, this land was no different from hers. Right down to monsters, bandits, and salvaging scarce resources.

The Sinatra music was a welcome addition to their surroundings, made Abby feel a little more at home to hear 'Blue Moon' in ruins again. The young woman hunkers down next to her pack and weapons near the campfire and Alec, pries open a can of Cram and eats it right from the can with a fork while The Doctor talked to the assembled party. Most of the terms went right over her head, but she gets the jist of what the gangly man is trying to say.

At the fifth point about foreign technology and knowledge, Abby looks aside at her rifle and down at her pistol and around at what others had to offer. Her weapons were probably the most primitive here, so she doesn't bother offering them. She does hold up her Pip-Boy, which is still less advanced than whatever else would be offered, but it's something.

The tree thing, apparently named Reegan, puts itself into a pot and proceeds to preen itself. Abby tried to ignore that, as it is just too odd a thing for her to want to watch with everything else going on.

"Awful chatty, that one." Abby says under her breath to Alec very quietly when the one woman in fancy clothes dominates the conversation with The Doctor, again using a lot of words and dropping names that don't really mean anything to her. The most she gleans from it is this place was a dumping ground for people from other worlds, and because many didn't get along that was why it was ruined. In the time it took for Alistia and Lavaetian to talk, Abby has finished her first can of cram, tossed it over her shoulder, and started on another. The fire and clothing layers had done their work to get her body warmed back up.

The kid, Trigger she think was his name from earlier(there were a lot of names to remember) proves to be a kid in his response to everything The Doctor had to say, but Abby gave The Doctor more respect for taking it like a real gentleman.

When The Doctor went off to tinker with one of the Omni-Tools, Abby tosses her second can of cram over her shoulder and stands, clears her throat.

"Now....seeing as the floor is open. I got some things to say." She looks around to see who was listening before continuing. "Now lookin' around at ya'll...I can say I am holdin' the most basic firearms and supplies, and I likely am the least educated here, even if some of ya are behaving like children." She says looking particularly at Luer, Thor and off where Trigger had walked. "But! Wasteland where danger can be in any ruin you try to scavenge somethin' useful? Low on ammo, food, safe water, shelter? That's where I live, and this situation even with the cold, is just a Monday fer me. I've lead caravans across the deserts, through canyons and you know with what? Not my weapons. Thems just tools." She taps her right temple "With my wits and some luck and the right crew. Know what got people killed in all those long desert drives? Besides the Deathclaws and such? Ego. Ego and pride and holdin' on to baggage ya can't see will get you killed. I promise that, I seen it." She looks around at everyone.

"Now. I ain't gonna pretend to be your leader, but if I see someone's ego needs check, I will check it for them before it gets themselves or someone else killed. Even you, King." She points at Thor. "And lastly, if you think you're better off alone?" She points out in the direction of the doors. "There's them doors. Try hoofing it alone out there, see how far you make it before you regret it." She takes breath. "Now, I gotta see a man about a hat."

Abby walks away from the fire to Dusk and The Doctor. With a fully belly and warm body, Abby feels more confident walking up to the being, if apprehensive.

"Mind if I have this one friend?" She asks pointing at the Stetson and waits for something that could be construed as agreement before taking the hat off one of the horns and setting it upon her head.

"What do ya think, Doc?" Abby asks The Doctor adjusting the hat, but not specifying if she means the hat or her speech.

"Watashi no un dake...." Tsunade curses when she hears the lizard reply in a language she cannot understand. She is glad that the said lizard replies in a manner that doesn't indicate it is looking for a fight, and she raises her hands in kind. She sees one of the soldiers behind the lizard person and her hands fly together in a series of hand signs. The soldier would have been hit with a water dragon made from the snow beneath him; had the pink creature come seemingly out of nowhere and swatted him into the air like a bug.

"Nani?!" Tsunade exclaims her confusion at the thing beckoning them to follow , looking at the lizard person. The wind getting harsher and colder encourages her to follow the pink blob. It might be more familiar with this place, know where they could find shelter from this storm overtaking the area. So Tsunade sprints after him, bearing through the cold wind.

As they followed, Tsunade saw they were still headed towards the scene of the battle. Where the convoy has been scattered, and the crater made by her clone has apparently unleashed a fearsome creature. She witnesses the blob swap his sword for a mallet to strike the beast to save the young man she had seen earlier. Others were here as well; the other young man, and a shinobi? A very fearsome shinobi at that, the way he used ice without hand signals to so brutally dispatch remaining soldiers.

When the various monsters appear from below and beyond the snow storm to converge on them, Tsunade gets into a battle ready stance, and thinks to yell to the others they needed to get out of here immediately; the words are taken right from her mind it seems, and she is somewhat delighted the young man who had just been saved was the one who had spoken them first in her language. She gets to him, runs beside him and readies the water dragon jutsu she had attempted earlier, holding her hands together before making the final sign.

"Saigo ni watashi ga hanasu koto ga dekiru dare ka!" She exclaims to the young man beside her. "Watashi wa Tsunade, kara Konohagakure!"

Ayana
---------------

Ayana watched nervously as Tsunade... copied her movements? Well, at least some kind of agreement has been reached she supposed. Hopefully the rest of the... ah... negotiations(?) weren't going to be as confusing as this. Mentally she cursed her luck for running into a strange human that didn't know the common tongue, well, her own common tongue at least. Speaking in motions was going to be damned annoying.

Then, Tsunade looked past Ayana at something as she starts doing the hand-thing in preparation to cast one of those spells of hers. This prompted Ayana to spin around and get low to the ground, only to see that blob from earlier send a solider flying with naught but a single swing of that oversized sword of its.

Was it motioning for them to follow? Yes, yes it was. Still, she'd rather take her chances with a fey-like(?) creature than those soldiers or that monster. The human woman seemed to have the same idea.

As Ayana followed Kirby she soon came across the other human she had spied from the rooftop, the one that had originally jumped to the defense of the pink creature. Not that the pink thing seemed to need it judging by how it was now hitting the monster with a hammer. She wondered if that thing could possibly be the most dangerous thing here, though she wasn't about to look a gift horse in the mouth. It was currently helping everyone after all. Still, best to keep an eye peeled in case it gets the idea to eat them later or if it gets up to some other fairy nonsense.

Luckily, the man the blob had led them to seemed to know both the woman's language and her own. Even more fortunately, he was already preparing to carve a way out of this mess.

Unfortunately, more bloody monsters seemed to have taken the fight as a sign to come crawling out of their damned holes! And the weather was also turning sour!

Out of the corner of her eye, she spied a solider that seemed to be barely clinging on to life. Well, no sense in wasting this chance. She stopped following the blob for a moment and drew a dagger as she approached the dying soldier, confident that the human man could hold the monsters at bay with his ridiculous weapon summoning powers for at least a few moments.

With a single precise strike, she plunged her dagger into the man's neck and into his spine. She drew a breath to steel herself and called upon her Blessing. Even more dead than he was moments ago, the man's vitality and soul were easily severed from his body and flowed into hers. Flashes of the man's dying moments entered her mind, eliciting a short gasp from her lips. Then it was over and the man's soul was now properly her hostage. Mentally she gagged at the "taste". It was so... so... strong, pungent even, the way the man's soul had been so dyed in its ideology. But this wasn't the time for brooding over the life the man had lived.

With a thought she told the soul, impressed on it really, what it seemed to want to hear. That it had fought bravely, it's duty was done, and now it was time to sleep. That seemed to at least work for now at least.

With practiced motions born from years of pickpocketing and helped along to know where everything already is by the man's memories, she began stripping the man's freshly cooling corpse for weapons and supplies. Particularly the man's "gun", "ammo", and any rations they might have. She stuffed her loot in bag and (borrowing on the solider's training and experience) held the gun in her arms.

Not willing to risk sticking around any longer with the remaining soldiers and monsters lurking around she dashed off after Kirby while calling back to Shirou, "Com'on, let's go!"

She kept her eyes open as she moved, her finger hovering over the trigger of the gun- ready to shoot at anything that might jump out at her.

Shirou nods at the blonde woman who assisted him from earlier while continuing to follow Kirby, slashing and shooting his conjured blades at any nearby enemies who tries to attack them. He was very lucky that she spoke Japanese, but he had never heard of a place called the Hidden Leaf Village. He also felt the presence some kind of energy emanating from her. He had experienced this kind of "sixth sense" before in the presence of Servants, and when magecraft was actively being used. It was especially noticeable when Tsunade used her offensive abilities, though it felt somehow different from magecraft as he knew it. It was simultaneously foreign, but passingly familiar. Very strange.

"Watashi wa Shirou," he replied, about to comment further when he saw the horned lizard girl who followed Tsunade, losing focus for a moment as he did a double-take. She was humanoid with very reptilian features, with grey, brown, and white scales, a long, thick tail, striking dark-purple slitted eyes, and decked out in a dark brown cloak over leather armor and a metal breastplate. She looked like a character right out of some fantasy JRPG or light novel.

The distraction was short lived, as various monsters continued to try and assail them, along with the occasional Nazi straggler. He continued to fight alongside Kirby, repelling the beasts as best he could. He then noticed the lizard girl stop and kneel before a fatally wounded Nazi soldier, and saw her quickly and efficiently plunge a dagger into the man's neck. His blood ran cold at the sight, but the logical part of his brain deduced that this might have been a mercy killing, given how far gone he already looked.

He held position until the lizard girl finished her grim task, using his floating weapons to keep the encroaching monsters in check. But during that brief moment, his sixth sense came alive again, and this time the sensation was coming from her instead of Tsunade. And again, it felt similar to and yet somehow distinct from magecraft, as well as from Tsunade's power. It wasn't at all obvious what the nature of her power was, but it was there. He also noted that she had looted his body for equipment afterward. Incredibly, she then shouted to him in English as she finished and rejoined the group.

Just what in the world had he ended up?

"What was that just now?" he asked her as she began moving again, following Kirby's lead.

- Thor Odinson, God of Thunder - Abandoned Mall, Garrus's Shelter -

"That's all well, Doctor, but, the one who'll be doing the saving is, me. Probably. Likely. Unless you can also fly. And shoot lightning. And pick up heavy objects." Thor spoke out once The Doctor had finished, having taken in...well, as much as he really could, not that Thor would immediately admit to not understanding exactly what The Doctor said, if only because it left him just as perplexed by this insane situation as he was before, it only put it into words.

"I'll tell you though...this place feels...strange to be in. Not just this mall, this city, the world itself. Something is wrong. I feel it in my bones...maybe that's just the cold, but I cannot deny that...no. Doctor, I feel as if we're being watched. By an unseen presence, at all times, it's a feeling I've had all too often in my long life and...it's here. Right now." The God of Thunder's tone became melancholy and cautious as his eyes scanned the room, the roof and out any window he could see through, cracking his neck to ease himself of this feeling and take his mind off of it. Though really, what took his attention was the constant moaning from one direction in particular.

"Are you going to stop complaining or do I have to get over there, Luer?" He spoke with very mild irritation at best toward the moaning archer.

Abby's comment in Thor's direction served to only make the God of Thunder roll his eyes and scoff. "I'll, uh, be on my best behaviour if it pleases you, my lady." Thor spoke in a somewhat mocking tone, but in truth, he would at least try to reign it in. If only a little.

- Artis Solum, Twilight Warrior - Abandoned Mall, Garrus's Shelter -

After Lord Horus had returned from his trip for those remaining, finally everyone was with Garrus Vakarian and company at the abandoned mall, Artis in particular was both grateful to be somewhere different, but also a bit disappointed that it was still rather cold. How he longed for the beach of Twilight Town, or even just the temperate Radiant Garden, but alas, naught but the cold awaited him today. On the plus side, he was liking his new found allies. Callintus in particular had already proven a joy to be around, Thor was to be admired for his might and Garrus was surprisingly courteous. A stand-out so far however had to be The Doctor, a man who truly liked wearing a bowtie, was eccentric yet knew much more than he first lets on with his...attitude.

Needless to say, Artis shook the Doctor's hand enthusiastically at the earliest convenience. And further so, he was not pleased with Trigger's outburst, taking offense at the idea of needing saving.

"I think our Doctor friend here put it best, but might I add that, every once in a while, we're all gonna need saving. There's no shame in it. Asshole." Artis spoke rather curtly, adjusting his black coat sharply afterwards.

- Kuai Liang, aka Sub-Zero, Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei - Deathclaw/Beast Rampage against The Scattered -

The Nazis fell swiftly to Sub-Zero, but just as one was about to catch the Grandmaster off guard, he was swiftly cut down by...a pink, blob? Kuai Liang had seen a great many things in his life, but Kirby was truly a first for him. Yet because of the chaotic situation they found themselves in, he did not hesitate to follow Kirby when beckoned, for Kuai now owed him his life as well.

Others had begun to follow Kirby to escape the madness, including a young warrior and a lizard-like female swordsman.

"She said "Let's go!" Sub-Zero bellowed out to Shirou, assuming he couldn't hear Ayana over the chaos of battle.

Luer shook his head to himself at Abby's words. Say what you want. I have been drowned and made very nauseous. I am content to avoid every one of you until that feeling passes. He thought to himself. He was cold, nauseous, tired and just a little confused. The way he saw it, he was doing nothing wrong. It was not as if he had anything to add to the group anyway. Whatever those 'weapons' she used were he knew nothing of, which meant the most he had in 'ammunition' were his arrows. His supplies consisted of little more than a bit of bread he had leftover from the other day. He was taken before he could return to the inn and restock.

She was not the only one leading caravans across plains and deserts either. That was his job, and while she did it with fellow fighters he did it alone. But this cold was beyond him… he had never been to the colder climate of Nohr. Hoshido's winters were never this frosty. Pride? Ego? If this woman could do claim to recognize such as a downfall in the group than she well could see he had none of it. There was no pride in what he does, there was no ego in who he is. No, Luer was low as one could be and full and well knew it. This woman must not have as sharp a sight as she seems to portray.

'Better off alone'? No, he was not better off alone, it was better for everyone if he were alone. There was a difference. Out here in this ice he would not survive on his own. He already near drowned once, it was surely death out there for him. But he thought better of speaking this opinion aloud. He was already irritated and the last thing he needed was some offhand comment to set him off.

The archer rose a brow at Thor as the god spoke to him. He had not said a word since they met up with the doctor. The others had been much noisier than he. So what was his issue with a few sighs and groans? He shook his head. "I would prefer it if you remained where you are." He muttered in answer. He was content to keep his distance from these lunatics. No one here was sane and at this point he began to believe even he was not quite right of mind any longer either. Another dimension? The only other 'dimensions' he knew of were that of the Deeprealms, a place that he personally disdained. He either was no longer sane, or did in fact drowned earlier and he was suffering Hell for what he has done in his life. Whichever it was, it was disorienting and rather displeasing.

"… I have the right of it. This might not seem like an unreal event to you, but to me it calls into question my sanity. Forgive me if I quietly contemplate the state of my mental health alone." He countered. He had done nothing to warrant being called out. In fact he was the only one being remotely quiet in comparison to the others in the group. Save for maybe Gaeira and Alken. He saw no reason for the god to be complaining about his groaning in irritation to himself. He was not even directing it at anyone else!

He sighed heavily and stood, adjusting the blanket around himself. "I swear I am the only one here actually considering this situation…" He grumbled as he made to go somewhere else in the store. Anywhere they would leave him alone (lingerie). So much for not being set off.
————————————
Luer situated himself under one of the display tables filled with women's underwear. If for whatever reason anyone actually does come through here to find him, he could only hope they miss him down on the floor. They were all pissing him off. He was not acting childish, he was not complaining to anyone, he was doing his damndest to stay away from them and out of their for gods' sakes! What the hell is their problems!?

The archer curled up once more to preserve as much warmth as he could and hide himself as much as possible. A violent shiver returned to remind him once again just how lost he was… How far from home has he gotten that he could not simply lie in the grass and stare up at the moon? The thought caused him to curl up just a bit tighter and a quiet, solemn plead fell from his throat. "I want to go home…" It was probably the first time in months the wish had so strongly overtaken him. An urge he desperately tried to push away as every time it came to the front of his mind, the images of that day followed- images he tried day in and day out to forget.

When had he last been stressed to this point? He could not even remember…

- Thor Odinson, God of Thunder - Abandoned Mall, Garrus's Shelter -

As if it wasn't enough for Luer to be groaning too often for Thor's liking, now the young man was verbally pouting, talking as if he was the only one suffering as a result of this madness, before storming off toward the women's underwear section. For a few moments, Thor was silent, then he sighed and began to stand up. "All right. I'm going over there." He uttered to no one in particular as he ventured off after Luer, who had at this point hidden himself from view, but Thor knew he was there somewhere, so once inside he began to speak out loud.

"Luer? Hiding won't make all of this go away!" Thor slowly motioned through the women's underwear section, continuing to speak all the while. "You believe yourself to be the only one suffering? Frankly, you couldn't be farther from the truth, boy. What, you think I don't find this unusual? One moment I'm conversing with my brother and while I'm loathe to admit it, I truly felt we were bonding again, but then I'm plucked from my ship by a unmerciful fool playing at God and stranded, in a ruined city with people I don't know! It's unsettling, nay, it's terrifying!" Thor went on, at this point his feet would've likely gone past Luer, but shortly after that, he would stop in place, extending his arms outward.

"But you know how we are going to survive? Well, not by hiding from each other! Not by claiming that they're the only sane man! But by shaping up, getting our acts together and standing as one! Otherwise, you're as good as dead, Luer. To some, random, monster or something. I don't know what's out there. None of us do. But if we are to find out, should we not find out as a group?" Early on, Thor had lowered his arms, continuing to face away from where Luer would be hiding, but now his words grew more impassioned, though he fumbled as he wondered what was out there, but picked up his tone again soon after...but then, Thor seemed to grow beyond mere irritation in a single moment.

"You don't think I want to go home?!" With this bellow, Thor whipped around and reached under a display table and flipped it across the room, but alas, no Luer. "Or perhaps the Doctor? Or this Garrus? You think any of them want to be here any more than you do?!" After this, Thor walked up to and threw another display table, sending it crashing across the room, but again, no Luer. Then he slowly strode over to the next display table, Luer's shivering breaths could almost be heard.

"If you want to go it alone, that's your choice. But in doing so, you will most assuredly die alone. And what kind of fate is that for a man? To die alone in a land unfamiliar to him? Do you really want that, Luer? Do you!?" Thor uttered as he leaned down and began to reach for the display case, gripping as he prepared to throw this one just like all the others and if Luer was truly underneath, he would see Thor's fingers.

Luer was content to take this time alone to relax and rest a bit, but it seemed that damned god had other plans. How the hell did he even find him? If anyone were to he did not expect it to be Thor but one of the girls. He jumped slightly in a startle at the sound of the massive man throwing and breaking things. What the hell??

He pouted to himself as he listened to the god ramble on. He was not hiding… He was sure he was not the only one that was shocked by this situation, nor was he sure he was the only one confused and perplexed. He was not scared though… fear only plagued him when it came to one specific thing and dying was not it. If anything, a part of him felt he was already dead.

He tensed up and out his wrist to his forehead when the god seemingly became furious, apparently having heard his personal wish to go home. A wish he knew not possible should he even be returned to his own world. Still, as the god drew closer to his 'totally not hiding' hiding spot, he felt he was not going to get any peace if he chose to try and ignore the man. So as Thor prepared to flip the very table he was seated under he sighed heavily and nudged the man's legs. The archer could not very well get out of here with him in the way. "Calm yourself. Were you not just saying we needed to pull ourselves together?" He commented.

Having said that he slipped his way past the god, crawling out from under the table on all fours. Giving himself room to stand he rose from the floor and once more adjusted his blanket, turning his gaze to- more like up at -Thor. "I do not believe to be the only one suffering, much less so to be the only one with the desire to go home. That was personal and I will offer that my wish is not like yours in that it cannot be granted." He started, pausing to cast his gaze downward in a thought of how to phrase his next response. "I have been wholly alone for the last several months. I am distant and I will always be, but know that I am not unwilling to work together."

The archer gestured to his hiding spot. "I have dealt with much over the last few months by myself, and it is the only way I know how to. I wanted a moment alone to collect myself- I was not hiding. Being around so many people for so long is… unusual and, as of late, uncomfortable. I was not 'complaining' as you called it. I was growing more agitated by the lack of peace to properly 'get my act together', as you say."
