Even though it was a bit involuntarily, she still did as he said. He took Josephine back to the stable and then went with Rin to the dinning hall, it had been decorated beautifully to the big event even though they would just be in that room for a short time. The most of the time it would be held in the ballroom. When Rin was finnished they said goodbye at the front gate.
"Ofcourse I'll be back soon, they said two hours but I'll make it in one, I promise" He said and kissed her on the head.

Len took one of the palace horses and rode down to the town, he came to the meeting point a bit to early and needed to wait. He tied the horse to a tree and sat down waiting on a fountain. As he sat there he saw a green hat flying and a girl were chasing after it. He fast ran to the hat and got it just before it flew away higher than they could reach. He turned around the give the hat back to the girl, as he did he saw the most beautiful girl in the world, except his sister ofcourse. She smiled at him with as her hair played in the wind, it made Lens cheeks a litle red. He handed her the hat
"Thank you" She said to him and laughed, the most wonderful laugh he had ever heard, more wonderful than his sister? Maybe.
They talked for a litle while, and when they got further and further in to the talk he noticed that he had fallen in love with her. But a simple servant wasn't allowed of such things, so then she departed and he was left alone to wait for the guests. Then he saw a man dressed in blue walking towards the girl, and they kissed eachother. Len looked away disappointed, even though he already had realised it was impossible.

He started to get the horse ready and while he was doing so they came. He got surprised that one of them was the man dressed in blue, and the man dressed in blue actually was prince Kaito. He lead the way back to the castle, back to his sister. The girl dressed in green wasn't with the prince anymore, then maybe she wasn't supposed to come to the party?

Len had kept his word, he had gone and come back in an hour not more or less.

While Len had been gone, Rin got Ready to greet her guests and for the party. After bathing Rin dried off and put on her dress; it was black with golden yellow accents, with matching black shoes and a black ribbon to hold her hair back. After that was done she walked slowly down to the front courtyard to meet her guests.

She hadn't had to wait long, in a matter of seconds after she'd stepped out they appeared, her beloved brother in the front. Rin's breath caught in her throat, behind Len was the handsomest man she'd ever seen. He had blue hair and eyes and Rin knew she had to marry him, no matter what it took

Len went gracefully down from the horse when he came to the front gate.
"Your higness, the blue countrys prince has arrived safely as I promised" He said as he bowed respectfully. He then gave the horses to a couple of servants that had come to take care of the guests horses. He had other duties to do than taking care of the horses.
"I shall show you to the ballroom" He said bowing again but not as deep as the previous time and started to walk in to the castle with the princess beside him, the prince at the princess left side and the prince's company behind them. Len opened the door to the ballroom, a magnificent hall with the most beautiful decorations.

He then excused himself as he needed to go and change his clothes and left them with a couple of other servants that was ready to help them with all that was needed. Even though Len just was a servant, he was the princess personal servant, which meant if he didn't look good she wouldn't look good. If it was a important meeting or party then he needed to change his clothes to more proper clothes than usually to. He had yet just used different clothes when he had been with Rin at important meetings but today was a special party to build allianses between countries, which meant that he needed to have new clothes.

Len went in to his room to find the clothes that had been prepared for him on the bed. He took it up and noticed that it was very alike the dress his sister had, they had used the same golden yellow colour, but it was just a few parts that was black in it. Over the clothes laid a yellow crest to put up his hair in. He fast changed in to it and went back to the ballroom. Now there had come a lot of people, this was the first time he had seen so many people of high statues. He fast found Rin in the crowd sitting on a couch with the prince.

Rin was upset, though it did not show on her face. She was talking to the Blue country's Prince and he was nice and polite, but he kept shooting down her advances. Her advisers had told her that the Blue country was an important ally and to get close to the Prince. Rin didn't mind this, ihe was handsome and she wanted to marry him, but his mind seemed elsewhere. Why did he keep ignoring her avances, why?! She knew most noble men from other counties and her own wanted to try and court her, so why was he -the one Rin wanted most- ignoring her advances?

She sighed inwardly in relief when she saw Len making his way towards them. She felt uncomfortable without her brother there. Maybe the Prince was picking up on her discomfort and that was why ignoring her advances. Well now that Len was with her she wouldn't feel uncomfortable and nervous. Rin smirked; she and the blue prince were going to be engaged by the end of the night. She knew it.

Len made his way threw the crowd elegantly and then took his place at his sister, the princess side. He bowed to show his respect to the prince and princess, he already had figured out that Rin was interested in the prince, he saw it on the way she looked at the prince. He didn't know if it was because they were twins or because he loved her so much that he knew how she felt so easily. But even though he noticed that she liked the prince he also felt something disturbing, of some reason she didn't seemed that glad at the moment. Had the prince rejected her? He wouldn't get to know the detailes of what had happend before the party was over and he could be alone with Rin.

Suddenly Len felt a scent he found familiar, he had just felt that scent one time before. He turned his head around and the girl dressed in green was walking in to the ballroom. She walked forward to the couch, towards the prince of blue. He hoped his sister wasn't to found of the prince, or else it would be bad if she found out about their relationship. He almost got a bit afraid of the outcome of this encounter that was about to happen, but maybe he was just paranoid.

Rin's eyes narrowed when the girl of green came over and took the Prince's attention away from her. She was about to say something to get his attention back on her but the Prince was already gone, taking the girl of green's hand and sweeping her onto the dance floor. 'Maybe he's just being polite,' Rin told herself, watching them sourly. Yes, that had to be it.

Her face fell a second later when she saw him kiss her. So that's why he'd been ignoring her, he was already taken and had simply been waiting for the other girl to arrive. 'That doesn't matter,' Rin thought coldly, her face going blank, 'I'll get him another way'

Len watched as the green girl walked out on the dance floor with the prince, he hoped they would just dance and not show anything that made them look to close. If his sister wanted him then she would do anything to get him even though he already had someone else. As the prince kissed the girl a shiver flew threw Lens body and he looked at his sister, her face had gone blank but beneath that blank face was rage, Len was certain of that. He hoped he was wrong and his sister actually was calm about it but his senses told him the opposit.

"Your higness, are you okay?" He asked worried both as her brother and as her servant. He looked at her from the corner of his eye while he still stood in the direction of the dancing couple. "Do you need something?" He asked which if someone had heard his first question and doubted they realtion now would be absolutely certain that he only asked as a servant. Len always took those kind of security measures even when it wasn't necesary and only Rin could understand what he really meant.

As one side of him was concentrating on Rin the other one was concentrating on the green girl, he wished that he could have her even though he knew he couldn't. If the blue countrys princes would fall in love with his sister then maybe he would have a chance with her, but as it looked like now that wouldn't happen. What would his sister do about this matter he wondered.

Rin turned to look at her brother, forcing her face into a smile. "No, I'm fine."

No, no she wasn't fine, she was anything but fine. How could he? How could he go fall in love with someone else? It wasn't fair! Rin wanted the blue country's Prince. She wanted him, and what she wanted she would have! And no Green Girl would get in her way! The Prince would be hers.

She looked at Len. She wanted to burst into tears and have him tell her it would be alright like he did when they were kids.

"Len," she murmured under her breath to her brother so no one would here them, "let's go somewhere tomorrow. I have no meetings or audiences tomorrow; I'll have nothing to do, so let's go somewhere. Just the two of us, okay?"

Even though she smiled it was fake, he knew her to well, even though it was just a litle different from her usual smile it was a difference. But she couldn't tell him there, he knew that to well, he just had to wait. She started to talk silently so others wouldn't be able to hear them, he listened and were able to make out what she said.
"Yes your higness, whatever you wish" He said as if he had gotten an order, but underneath the words was a worried brother saying "Ofcourse, if that makes you happy my sweet sister" Somehow he knew those words would reach Rin, they always did. Maybe she actually would let this with the prince go and just wanted to have some fun to help her forgett about it.

This time her smile was genuine. She always loved spending the day with only Len, even if those times were few and far in between. "Alright, we'll discuss details after the party." she said as if she were giving an order in case anyone was listening. "For now I must mingle and entertain guest." Rin shot a nasty at the girl from the Green county before glancing lovingly at the Blue prince. Oh that girl would regret ever taking something Rin wanted.

"Shall we go?" she asked Len cheerfully with a small laugh before she drifted off to a group of nobles standing in the corner, Len at her side.

Len could finally relax, he knew that smile anywhere, she was actually happy now. Maybe she wouldn't do anything about this matter after all. "Yes, your higness." He said and bowed down and gave a last glance at his sister just to notice how Rin looked at the girl. It sent a shiver threw his body, he knew that something bad would happen. But what?

But shortly after looking lovelingly at the prince of the blue country she turned back to her wonderfull sheerful self. Shall we go? She asked and Len couldn't help but smile even though so many bad feelings was torturing him. He was at her side and no one would take that place from him, soon it would be the end of the evening and the next day everything would be back to normal, at least he hoped it would be.

Rin sighed as she mingled with the other politicians that came to the ball. It was all very boring, but as Crown Princess of the country holding the alliance talks, it was her duty to act accordingly, so that they would sign the papers and not declare war on them just because she acted the wrong way.

She eyed the green girl out of the corner of her eye. Perhaps in the next few days she'd speak to her minster of defense about getting that girl removed so she could have the Blue Prince all to herself.

That could wait until after she returned tomorrow however. Tomorrow she was going to spend the day with her brother and nothing would ruin it. Not even a pathetic girl of green

((I'm so sorry. I got horribly sick over the past couple days and wasn't up to much of anything except sleep))

Len was beside his sister the whole evening, sometimes now and then he looked over the room to see the girl in green. She didn't leave the prince side even once, not even when he talked politic with the other royalities that had attended to the party. Everytime she laughed Len couldn't help but smile even though he couldn't hear her laughing, just see her smiling face. He still remembered her wonderful laugh from when he met her in town.

"Your higness, I'm afraid it's time to end the banquet now." Len reminded Rin when the sun since long had gone down in the horizon. Many guest had already left to their rooms while others had been to into their discussions so they hadn't notice that it had become so late, others was just waiting politely on it to end. The blue prince had stopped talking bussiness since hours ago and was now enjoying his time with the green girl and some ministers. Len couldn't help but gaze towards the girl again, he would probably never be able to see her again after this.

Rin nodded, sighing in relief when her brother told her she could end the party. Politically it had gone well, but personally it had been very...painful. She grimaced at thought of the blue prince with that green girl, but she'd remedy that soon. After tomorrow though; tomorrow she would spend the day with her brother.

Walking in front of the doors of the ballroom she raised her voice a bit and told the few people left in the room that the banquet was over and that servants would show them to their rooms. Sighing, she left the room, her hand brushing her brother's. Stepping into her room, she closed the door and slipped behind a changing screen and out of her dress and into her night clothes.

"You'll be here when I wake up?" she asked Len, coming back into the main part of her rooms after washing her face and climbing into her large bed.

Len was walking right beside her the whole time, holding her hand gently, feeling how her finger brushed his hand. Just that litle touch made him feel happy, it made him forget about the green girl. His princess, his sister, was the only thing he needed.

He waited patiently on her to finnish changing her clothes from the dress in to her night clothes. "Ofcourse I'll be here, like I always are. I would never let you wake up alone" He said and gently brushed his thumb on her cheek then giving her a goodnight kiss on the forehead. "Good night my sweet sister, have beautiful dreams my princess." He told her and sat beside her untill she fell asleep.

He could have watched her sleeping face the whole night if he didn't needed sleep, but he was only human so he needed to leave her at some point, especially if he would be able to keep his word that he would be there when she woke up. So in the end he forced himself in to his own room and laid down in his bed to sleep, for the most his dreams was about his sister and him and how they were sitting in the grass, laughing with eachother. But tonight his dreams was about the green girl, the blue prince was crying over her dead body and Len himself was standing with a bloody knife crying. He woke up hours before he should have and couldn't fall asleep again, the dream had frightened him to much. Why had he dreamed like that?

He decided to take his thoughts away from the dream by walking around in the garden, the sun had still not made its way up on the sky. The air was a bit cold but it was still comfortable to go outside. When a couple of hour had past by he walked inside again and started to make brioche for his sister before going to her room and sitting down beside her to wait for her to wake up.
