Otherwise known as "that part of the internet"

The place where your perception of reality fades to nothing, and you are consumed by the utterly bizarre. This is further than lolcats, weirder than goatse, and smile.dog is only the beginning

How far into the deep web have you been? What did you see?

Obviously I didn't go deep Enough..

So I got no clue what's exactly about. Enlighten me xD

Oh shot wait!@.@

Maybe I don't wanna know and what if I can't handle it ?>.>

Please tell me though xD

Stare long enough into the abyss, the abyss stares back.

I've been there, there never was a chance of coming back.

I've saved things, seen things, and watched things that would get me banned in a heartbeat.. I like it here and some people like their little sanity bubble, lets not make them more curious than browsing funny or sarcastic internet memes already has them.

You don't come back from the deep end and still be normal.

Basic summaries of what the "deep web" is. A lot of it is old archives that no one cares about.

I've been to some places that are considered "deep web". Aside from the dangerous pornography and the drugs, a lot of it is just information. Granted, it's not info everyone would want to or should know, but it's there. There are also places where people simply talk, but no subject is off limits. Saw a few of those, read some interesting things. All in all I wouldn't say it alters you in some deep or meaningful way, really. What is there is no different than what is in our homes. Some depravity, sure, but also just people being weird in their private spaces mostly.

The question is...

What lies BEYOND THE DEEP WEB~!!?!?!?!?!?!

<dresses up like David Attenbourough>

Join me as I explore the Deep Web....and BEYOND!

Let's see what we find as we delve ever deeper into the Internet.

Seems fairly benign.

Huh, that's a bit creepy, but this shall not deter us from exploring the depths of the Internet....FOR SCIENCE!!

Its awfully dark down here in the Deep Web. Hard to see what's going on.

Yeah, pretty void-like in here.

But we brave onwards! FOR SCIENCE!

Wait.

What's that? I see something....

I appears to be some kind of hole. Could this be the entrance to what lies beyond the Deep Web?

Let's look closer!

FOR SCIENCE!

Do you...hear that? It sounds like breathing.

And its warm in here.

Real warm.

And squishy underfoot.

My flashlight stopped working. How long have we been down here?

Oh.

Oh my Jesus.

What IS that thing???

And sadly, Mr. Attenborough never returned from his journey.

I went into the deep web one lonely night. The thing I saw, the things I learned, and the things that followed me back still rest in the corners of my eyes. One day the steel katana by my bed will not be enough to fend them off any longer, but for now they keep their distence.

I know what you mean.

I know what you mean.

What was seen, can't be unseen.

Such is the price one pays to look upon That Which Man Was Not Meant To See.

You can find some really interesting things on the deep web if you can find all the right address' and few search engines which attempt to index a portion of the deep web. Most interesting things I've ran across are foreign news sites which cover their own local interests. Most of which are very cheap and probably can't either afford typical browser functions as found with things like Internet Explorer, Google Plus, Firefox, et cetera. Though I usually use Tor for browsing.

I suppose the worse thing that I ever ran across was a series of "snuff films". Most of which were hacked from security cameras or traffic lights of accidents (occasionally homicide) where somebody dies in the video. . .the one I did watch was, how to say, "Oh man... OH MAN... HOLYSHIT WTF!? Dude, that ain't right. OMG!" and is followed by Alt-F4.

Check out the silk road if you do go delving around. You can find almost anything for sell there. Just a matter of using currency transactions and getting bit coins; which is as easy as using a normal currency exchange like PayPal.
