Early Note
I will NOT be using any abilities past level 4 (See below) whilst in the role play. It is mainly to explain what a Dream Caster is, as it may be confusing to some, and I may or may not have made it even more confusing. Oops.
The only time I WOULD go past level 4 is with permission from the GM and the notification of other RPers in OOC. I will not use it unless everyone is ALRIGHT with it. I won't go with the majority unless the GM were to say otherwise.

Also.. I'm sorry for all the words, and if it seems pretty OP >.<

Dream Caster
*Dream Casters are people who have the ability to project things from their imagination, to that of reality. Depending on their abilities, they may possibly even conjure or summon something that may even defy the laws of physics, while actually still following them in some way. They also have the ability to damage those mentally, or they may heal one's mind and soothe them. Dream Casters have a strong tie to the after life, as there have been some beliefs that they could be used as spirit mediums. A high levelled Dream Caster is deadly, while a lower levelled one is no more powerful than a rock buried beneath the soil. However, in order to master the powerful abilities, Dream Casters must be mentally stable, any hinderance otherwise may prove to be deadly for them, as they will no longer be able to perform anything, as though they are brain dead. They are often mistaken for Succubus, even though their intents are much less hostile and dangerous.

!--- Important notes about a Dream Caster ---!
1. They can, in fact, be killed like a regular human. However, their 'core' must also be eliminated. And easy way to do this is to trap the core, and leave it without energy for a few days.
2. A Dream Caster will experience fits, as in they will be damaged overtime when their mental state or emotional state is far too harmed (Such as excessive fear or anger). This causes them to be disrupted when casting any spells or activating any abilities.
3. No they can't fly.
4. They have no particular resistances or any weaknesses (racial speaking).
5. The types of dreams they encounter will play a part in their emotional and mental state.
6. When not in clans or packs, they usually wander alone.
7. They are naturally naive and easily swayed, thus very gullible as well.
8. They appear as regular humans.
9. When running low on energy, they will feed off the energy used to form their body.
10. When sent into insanity, they must be confined in a space where their core cannot leave, and be left there until they come back to their senses.
11. Anything they summon is NOT THE ACTUAL THING. (Ex. They summon a cat; the cat summoned is not an actual cat, a spirit they summoned is not an actual spirit, etc). It's basically a perfect replica.
12. Dream Casters are basically immortal, that is, if they are properly fed with energy.
13. If a Dream Caster were to go without energy, while reduced to their core, they will die in the span of 3 days.
14. A Dream Caster can go a total of a week and a half without the need to harvest energy if they have not used up any of their abilities in that span of time.
15. A Dream Caster's core is usually not visible and cannot be physically killed. At times however, it may appear as a small orb, surrounded by burning fire.

However, instead of running off mana, they run off energy. Energy is measured in 5 different levels, and is essential for Dream Casters to harbour. Energy acts as the Dream Caster's mana, and can be recharged when around people whom are asleep. Energy itself is basically the presence of a dream and they may harvest this energy without disturbing anyone. However, the most powerful dream (Meaning the types of dreams that give the most energy) are nightmares and dreams of memories. Basically, dreams that have a larger impact on one's emotions or mental state supply the most energy. Energy usage is being used and can be recharged as long there is at least 1 person in a 120ft radius, who is sleeping. However, the further away they are, the slower and lesser energy can be replenished.

The five levels include:
0 - The Dream Caster is completely put out of combat at the moment. They must wander around to collect energy before any further progress is made from them.
1 - The Dream Caster is weakened, and so needs a source of energy. At this point, they will slowly grow transparent, and their body will soon disappear as it is kept stable with energy. They are unable to perform any abilities or communicate with the after life, with the exception of the ability to enter dreams however only so that they may absorb energy.
2 - The Dream Caster is doing OKAY. They may still perform their abilities however, they are barely able to communicate with the afterlife, and have very little effect when dream/mind manipulation, along with very, low levelled summons (Meaning no more powerful than a cat with sharp claws).
3 - The Dream Caster is doing well. They may perform abilities and communicate with the After Life at ease. Their summoning is limited to nothing larger than the summoner themselves. They may also enter and speak to one in their dreams.
4 - The Dream Caster is almost at their prime. They can skillfully communicate with the dead, and summon, and may alter one's dreams and speak to another telepathically.

!--- WILL NOT BE USED UNLESS GIVEN PERMISSION ---!
5 - The Dream Caster is at their prime. They may masterfully summon creatures, that may be considered mythical and may even summon creatures equal to that of a god's. They may also, at times, alter one's path of thinking and such (However, I will not use this to actually use mind control on a playable character) and if the target's mind is weak enough, they may perform mind control. They may communicate with spirits effectively, to the point they may borrow their traits for a brief moment (Like possession). However, in this state, most of her energy is greatly drained, depending on how she uses it. (Strong summons last about 3 in combat posts.)

Despite 5 being so over powered (And OP), it is also the easiest level to lose and the hardest level to obtain (As one can not normally surpass level 4) and such, requires a medium or a certain item.

The certain item is more like something found in dreams. It's basically a crystal which is found in a pure hearted dream or an intense nightmare. These crystals allow the user to temporarily use the power these energy crystals hold and harvest the energy. This is a one time thing, and can only be harvested at night in a deep sleep. Up to 5 crystals can be carried at a time.

*These crystals may also serve as a portable recharger, however, only charging up to level 4, and will only be obtained if and when given permission to. Cannot be used when there is no power left in the Dream Caster.

Powers/abilities

!--- Power, usage, and duration rely solely on Energy Levels ---!

Necromancy/Summoning
She may summon things that come from dreams in her mind. Power and energy usage differs greatly on the level of the creature. At rare times, she may actually summon a battle field, however, that takes loads of energy, and she would be completely drained when using it at level 3. (For example, she could summon up a maze).

Communication with the After Life/Possession
She may speak with those who are dead, let it be from people to insects. Usually does not take up any energy however, when harnessing the spirit's power, usage relies greatly on what the possession is used for, how powerful is will be, and how long it will last for.

Mind/Dream Manipulation
Low energy usage when manipulating dreams, and no usage at all when harvesting energy. However, mind manipulation is different. Usually, they cannot do anything to any one at level 3 energy whilst in reality. However, at level 4, they may speak telepathically to others.

Strengths
Very calm demeanour, making controlling her powers much more simple.
Spiritually and mentally strong.
She has a good understanding of her own powers.

Weaknesses
Gullible
Lazy

Hero/Villain/Neutral
Neutral

Reason they are a hero/Villain/Neutral
She harbours little to no hate upon hero, nor does she do to villains. She sees no point in them fighting, and so stays neutral since she is too lazy to actually do anything to either parties.

History
(Note that this is a VERY brief history)
As a child, she was already pretty lazy, but was summoning up all sorts of cartoonish figures in her imagination. Despite holding so much potential, she was very, very lazy, and preferred playing with little bunny balloons over practicing her meditation. Around the age of 14, she set out by herself to go on a little adventure (mainly due to being forcefully kicked out to stop laying on her lazy butt) and to see the world. She kept wandering around, eventually learning about the existences of those with abilities much more useful than her own, as her own powers usually took time to perform. She met people, left people, and watched people die (sadly), however, she had learnt to hone her skills to the point she was near her prime (However, is unable to unlock it due to the lack of a certain item). She usually hangs around towns, and to this day, she is still wandering around. She has been deceived into performing dirty acts that were against the law however, she has also performed enough good deeds to erase all the bad ones.

Moving back a little bit, she returned to her village a year later, in order to greet everyone and tell them about her travels. However, she returned only to find that the village had been abandoned. At first, she assumed that everyone was just on a trip, and so she returned to the ruins of her own house, curious as to why everything was so dirty and dusty. She walked around, unbeknownst to what had happened, eventually finding nothing. At first, she had assumed they had all went on a trip however, she felt no left over energy in the town. This was where she panicked, as she couldn't even sense cores in the area. She panicked even more, eventually running around, only to witness a single core evaporating into the air, signifying their 'death'. The girl started crying, as she finally realized her entire village, her entire clan, as somehow slaughtered. However, she held no grudge, in fear that she would fall mentally unstable. However, she returned to civilization, and intended to close herself off in a largely inhibited area where she could trap herself in, yet gain energy without harming others, and hopefully calming herself down in the process.

Half a year passed, and she was able to calm down, learning to control her mental state much more effectively, and is now roaming around and about.

Personality
Happy-go-lucky and cheery, she seems to enjoy talking to others and doesn't hesitate to get into battle. She is somewhat clumsy, however, her perspective on stuff can waver easily due to her lack of knowledge. She is, however, academically intelligent, and she can at least speak fluent english. She doesn't have much of a temper, and is usually kept calm and collected.

Looks good to me especially being you'll ask before doing anything that may be considered OP

So Accepted

And you did not confuse me with the explanation on the Dream Caster stuff.
Just find the nightmares part a bit funny being Raven only pretty much has nightmares but you put neutral so no worries of that unlike if she was in Titan's tower.

I forgot to add two final points to the important notes; they are the 14th and 15th one. If there are any further questions, just ask and I'll explain them in the important notes.

Alright so you guys alright with after just a few more? Or do you feel we should start soon and help those who may later wish to join in can. Just maybe help me summaries for them?

And I'll throw in a hero CS soon I hope.

I am cool with anything, i am excited to start but i can wait a little while longer if needed

  • Thank You
Reactions: Raven
Name:
Blake Wolf
Some just call him Wolf at times why not always Blake no one knows why so he answers to both.

Appearance:
demon-anime-guy_zps9e0db43a.jpg

Hero/Villain Name:
Dark Omen

Allies: Titans
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Race: Human/Partial since experiment
Powers/abilities:
He has no powers. Great with sword fighting, hand to hand combat, pretty good at aiming things like batarangs but his are ninja stars.
He like Deathstroke and Ravager has been given the super serum. This has just as it did they enhanced his natural features which has simply enhanced them. He is stronger than than before the effects, heals faster, can see clearer for he once wore glasses, hearing, and then there is one that makes him seem to be able to predict his enemies moves slightly faster than when they come. Not all the time but sometimes and if he takes an antibiotic the same as Ravager he two can predict within moments before the hits. The effects can just be havoc on his physical body.

Strengths:
Swords and hand to hand. He is alright at ranged.

Weaknesses:
Abusing the antibiotic after the first use so he tries to avoid it for most battles but if he has to its almost as if he's had a relasp.
He is human

Hero/Villain/Neutral: Hero

Reason they are a hero/Villain/Neutral:
A childhood dream and he doesn't want someone else to go through some of the same things he had as a kid.

History: He may had become a science experiment at a young age but Blake also had always enjoyed watching the hero's and took different forms of training to maybe become one when he was five. Soon he actually began to be mentored by someone who wasn't a hero well known like Batman but was his karate master who became known as the White Ninja around there neighbor hood. When he turned 12 during a mission he was captured which resulted in him being tested with the serum that enhances one's abilities the two learned it was the same serum that was being tested on a man named Slade Wilson it wasn't until he was seeing the first Teen Titans on the news who Slade was. Soon when new Titan's were being chosen he was thrown ino the hat. Many of the Titan's went to different places he had helped but not first as a Titan but a young justice at the age of 13. Then at 15 he was finally a Teen Titan and now at 17 he is one of the many leaders. He was sent to Jump City changing with one of the others for a new mission that mission was to stop the Death Soldiers once and for all.

Personality:
Many say he does have a leadership attitude. Intelligent for he actually tries to think things through. Some say he is creative for how he may seem to mix different forms of his skills and his ideas for formations. He is willing to listen to others and is very caring for his friends and team he will blame only himself if they get hurt. He doesn't do well when he is angry for it seems to open perhaps a darker side of him which is part of how he became known as Dark Omen.

Friend: He hopes to make some within his new team
Family: His parents are deceased for they died in a car accident when he had just become 14 he was already basically living with other hero's by then.

Extras:

He has twin blades that he uses along with ninja stars.

He looks good to me :3 Accepted

Name: Jinayah Ifriti

Appearance: 5'0'', dark skin, dark eyes, short black hair, small androgynous build, wears loose shirts and jeans

Alias: Orbit
Age: 16
Gender: Ask them yourself.
Race: Metahuman

Skills: Lockpicking, pickpocketing, vault cracking, stealth movement, reading blueprints, motorcycle riding, advanced knowledge of high level math and physics, mechanical, engineering and computer talent (Jin makes a great deal of their own equipment), incredibly skilled aim (aided by the use of rapid mental math)

Powers: Telekinesis
-Jin can lift about 400 pounds while on the ground. They have difficulty with more delicate movements.
-While hovering/flying, their weight limit drops by about half.
-Orbit can use their kinesis to 'fly'. It isn't full flight. They basically pushes themself from object to object, using the momentum to maintain speed and height. If they were in a flat field, Orbit could only achieve a height of maybe five feet off the ground, but could still move incredibly fast.
-Jin's favorite use of their power is to enhance her fighting strength. They uses it to give her punches and kicks more force, and can easily keep up this fighting style while flying.
-Orbit can also make a shield of psychic force. Usually this shield is a half dome, but Orbit can expand it to a full bubble if necessary. The maximum width that they can maintain for any safe length of time is 15 feet.
Equipment: Super Suit - black with purple cybernetic trim
Lockpicks
Scanner goggles
"Orbs"- metal spheres that can be controlled via signal through the technology in their gloves.
Street motorcycle

Personality: Jin is usually quiet, as they're comfortable getting close to people. They do open up to people that they percieve to be more like them- homeless people, petty criminals, people who like cars. Only then do they show a degree of friendliness and life. On the other hand, when 'rich' people are concerned, Jin is acerbic and downright rude, pulling no punches in calling those people out.

History: Jin lost their parents at a young age. They lived on the streets for a significant part of her childhood, learning to steal for money in order to eat. When she was about ten, Jin was taken in by a man who turned out to be a professional thief- after revealing their raw talent by pickpocketing his wallet. Even though they started out just being Chance's protoge, the bond between the two grew deeper. Chance quickly considered the child family, and legally adopted Jin. As they were raised as a thief, they were also well-fed, guided, and loved all to pieces by Chance, Jake, and Nora.
There was a falling out between Chance and Jin when they hit 16. Jin ran off to Jump City, to really test their skill in a city with plenty of competition from both sides.

Reason to be a Villain: "Because people consider what I do illegal, even though leaving people to die on the streets isn't."

Friends: A lot of homeless people and street gangs.
Family: Legal guardian/Brother - Chance DiAngelo
Brother in law - Jake Favreau
Mama - Nora DiAngelo
Other:
-If asked directly about thier gender, Jin would probably say something sarcastic, like 'can't you tell?' and walk away. In truth, Jin doesn't feel quite right saying that they're female or male.
