Making a student for the College of Winterhold, Mages REPRESENT~!!!

@State Of Bedlam: There's nothing immediately wrong with your form that I can see, I'm just not sure how your character is going to fit into the alliance? If you can make it work, then approved! :3 If not, feel free to drop me a Conversation if you need help!

@Venomarrah & Nadrojo: Cool, I look forward to it :)

Ambrose Boaz
sparks_by_noroone-d51zgpo.jpg

Alias: Snow/Lucky
Race: Redguard
Sub-Race: Breton
Age: 19
Gender: Male

Birthplace/Hometown/city/region: Riften
Residence: College of Winterhold
Alliance/Faction: Student at the College of Winterhold

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Romantic Relations: None at the moment ;)
Familial Relations: Mother, Brother(Dead)
Friends: N/A

Enemies: N/A
Servants/Followers/Housecarls/Underlings: N/A
Pets/Animal Followers: N/A

Mastered Skills/Specialties: Speech, Alteration, Destruction, Unarmed
Proficient Skills: One handed, Enchanting, Sneak, Conjuration

Main Weapon(s):
Secondary Weapon(s)/Tools: Elven Dagger
Armor: Gauntlets of the Pugilist
Clothing: Thalmor Robes and boots
Accessories: "Lucky" Amulet, Ring of the Pugilist

Personality: Ambrose is an optimist, that knows when it's time to give up, but chooses to keep fighting anyway. He is Confident, Calm, and quick to joke in even the most stress filled situations, because he knows he can't die until he sees the end of the war, that killed his brother. So because of that he is impulsive, and usually does whatever he wants to, whenever he wants to. He never bows down to any sort of authority, unless you gain his respect, which usually ends with someone knocked down on their ass. Outside of battle, he's an extremely friendly person to everyone, unless you're a Storm Cloak, Imperial, or just a really rude individual. When it comes to relationships, he is just as impulsive, in Skyrim, any day could be his last, so if you aint' too ugly, think his dumb jokes are funny, and don't want him dead, you're his type
History: Father, brother, and at the time pregnant mother(with him) were immigrants crossing over the border of Cyrodill, to Skyrim hoping for a better life. On their way they were ambushed by bandits, his father ended up sacrificing himself so they could make it. Eventually the family found themselves in Riften, where Ambrose was born. His mom owned a small shop, but it got little business, with no Father, Ambrose looked up to his older brother, who taught him how to steal, lie, and most importantly fight. Using the money they stole they helped make ends meet around the shop. Over time Ambrose discovered he had an affinity for magic, and used it to help him, and his brother in their endeavors. Their skill caught the notice of the Thieves Guild, and were swiftly inducted into their ranks. As they grew older, the wars in Skyrim, became more intense. Sick of stealing, His older brother, Asim, tried to find a more "honest" way to help his family, and joined the Imperial Army. Less than a year later he was killed in a Storm Cloak ambush, leaving Ambrose for the first time in his life . . . alone. In a quest to separate himself from the past, he left the Thieves Guild, and traveled across Skyrim, to find the only place that would accept him, The College of Winterhold
Fighting Style: Uses his magic for ranged fighting, or summons creatures, to cause chaos, or distract, while he picks off enemies, with his fists. When it's a one on one engagement he will use mage armor to protect himself, while he quickly closes the distance, and finishes his opponent off with his punches and kicks.
Weaknesses: Because of his rash nature, if a friend is in danger, or he has been offended, he will continue to fight until either he, or everyone else is dead. He also has little to no armor, so if you can surprise him, or out distance his magic you can beat him

Looks good so far, nothing needing fixing immediately jumps out at me, I just can't officially "approve" it until finished X3

@State Of Bedlam: Approved

@Venomarrah: Approved

To any new arrivals looking to create characters who haven't yet, preferable they be Thieves Guild or Companions so we have someone in every guild :3
Leaders or regular member characters, doesn't matter!

You dont mind if the vampires turn up late with a dramatic entrance, do you?

Sure. They can even be hiding in the rafters/shadows, like, bats or something beforehand if you want XD(I don't know, I haven't played Dawnguard or the other expansions, do Dawnguard vampires still turn into bats in Skyrim? I know regular ones before the expansions don't)

well given that even DG didnt cover much of what vampires actually were, im assuming they are able to transform into a bat, into mist and into their demon form. And I was probably going to have him throw open the main doors when theres a thunderstorm on and then say something dramatic. "Sorry i'm late" probably wouldnt work :P

I haven't played Dawnguard myself, but as far as I'm able to tell vampires aren't able to turn into a single bat but can turn into a swarm of bats.

Finished editing my character, Mr.Boss-Man~!!

@Raitoningu: Hey, whatever works! XD

@State Of Bedlam: Yeah, I thought I remembered something about it, that was it.

@Nadrojo: Accepted :3 And I think it'll be interesting to see how he and Faulklin get along. I see it as likely to go one of two extremes: Either really well, or really badly XD But probably not anywhere in the middle

I remember Oblivion better than I remember Skyrim, but I'm not sure why Nazir is Faulklin's superior? As the Listener, he would normally be the leader of the brotherhood. Is it because he's so disinterested in having to deal with people that he just let's Nazir be the de facto leader?

Something to that effect(but yeah, he really doesn't deal well with most people XD). I mean, technically I don't think the Listener has to be the leader, unless they want to. Even though the player becomes the Listener doing the plotline, Astrid still remained the leader until she eventually died. And I think the Listener is only considered the "leader" because they can hear the Night Mother directly, which is who all the other members answer to.

Plus, Faulklin is kind of both childish and hasn't been a part of the Brotherhood as long. And Nazir just sort of seems like good leadership material for the Brotherhood, but maybe I'm the only one who feels that way otl

And even though technically Babette is a vampire that's like, 200 years old or so(at least I think she is? Maybe I'm remembering wrong), it just seems kind of weird to me that the other members would be taking her seriously in her little-girl persona as their leader, at least the newer initiates, so there goes that lol

Emo-boy's technically still the superior of the initiates/Speakers besides Nazir and Babette, but it just made more sense to me that Nazir would be leader rather than Faulklin

Yes, I think we're actually waiting for more players.

After about four hours had passed I decided to delete the post and just let The Great Me answer, but I didn't realize that there would be a little marker where the message had been.

Yes, we're still accepting. Welcome! :3

she_wolf_by_88grzes-d5mg8lz_zps82504c1d.jpg

Name: Kari Vidkin
Alias: None
Race: Nord
Sub-Race: Werewolf
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Birthplace/Hometown/city/region: She doesn't know, but the only thing she remembers was always living in Whiterun
Residence: Jorrvaskr

Alliance/Faction: Companions
Superiors?: None
Rank: Harbinger (leader)
Allies: Others in the Companions
Enemies: Silver Hand and the Vigilance Stendarr
Reason for Alliance/Joining: Kodlak Whitemane took her in from the priestesses of Kynareth. There he taught her how to wield a sword and how to fight. When the Silver Hand attacked Jorrvaskr and killed some of their family members, including Kodlak, Kari became Harbinger. He was her father, not by blood, but by spirit. She never forgave herself after that incident.
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Romantic Relations: None
Familial Relations: None
Friends: None outside of the Companions.
Enemies: Silver Hand, the Vigilance of Stendarr, Aldmeri Dominion and the Stormcloaks, especially Ulfric Stormcloak.
Servants/Followers/Housecarls/Underlings: Tilma
Pets/Animal Followers: None

Mastered Skills/Specialties: Two-handed, heavy armor, and archery.
Proficient Skills: Smithing
Main Weapon(s): Wuuthrad
Secondary Weapon(s)/Tools: Daedric bow and arrows
Armor: Set of Daedric armor
Clothing: Tight deer skin shirt with leggins.
Accessories: Black wolf head as a hat.
Other Inventory: Sweet rolls and mead.

Powers/Special Abilities/Curses: Kari has the blood of the wolf running through her veins, and being the Harbinger, Kari has mastered the lycanthropy blood, enabling her to change at will, and control her rage.
Power Drawbacks/Limitations: On full moons, Kari goes a bit berserk, transformed or not. Also, with the blood of a werewolf, when Kari touches any bit of silver, her flesh begins to burn.
Fighting Style: When having a cool head, Kari can have a bit of stealthy one with her bow, hiding in shadows or high up in a tree, the warrior can hit the target with accuracy and precision. If she is going the more "warrior way", then she will take Wuuthrad and go for the smallest to largest. Yet, when pushed over the edge, she will blindly start swinging the battle ax, hitting anyone in her way.
Weaknesses: Because of the wolf's blood, Kari has been granted with an excessive amount of anger. Even the littlest of things will push the girl over the edge, and if you're someone she knows, she will hit you square in the jaw. If you're an enemy of hers, she will not think twice about killing you, even if you came in peace. Another strong weakness is when people talk about family, she doesn't want to hear it, and she will either tell you to shut up or leave the room. For the final weakness, any competition will make Kari cave in, especially drinking contests.

Personality: Kari has always been the "rough" kid, playing with the boys, obsessed with swords and hunting, and at one point, she was convinced she should of been born a boy. As she matured, nothing changed about her, she was still the sarcastic, mean brute who enjoys telling stories in the Mead Hall while eating a freshly cooked slab of meat. She does have a nice side to her, but it takes a lot of digging to pull it out.
History: Being raised in Jorrvaskr, being a warrior was all she knew. She watched as the once large building that the city supposedly built around became smaller, as she grew. Kari knew from day one she was from a long line of warriors, she knew it as soon as a sword was placed in her hands. She had the hair of a true Nord, blonde as can be, but when she was accepted into the circle, her perfect ocean blue eyes to amber. Kari was one of the youngest to be accepted into the circle, as Vilkas though the idea was perfect, to see how a young child growing up with lycanthropy would turn out. She wasn't allowed to tell anyone of course, but they all questioned when she started growing rapidly. Bigger than most girls, she became taller, shoulders were broad, but her face still stayed perfect. It was like she had became the ideal woman, as all the men wanted her, but she put the Companions first before any man. Except for Kodlak, as he was the one person she truly cared about, and looked up to since he took her in.
Kari was 17 now, and Kodlak brought her into his room. He wanted to tell her something, but at first nothing came out. He gave her his journal and told her to read it. Kari left his presence and did as he asked, and when she did, she knew what was to be done. Kill a few witches, go to Ysgramor's tomb, and fight off Kodlak's beast. When she killed the first Glenmoril witch, and was so excited that she went back to Jorrvaskr to show Kodlak. She approached the steps littered with Silver Hand bodies. Entering into the Mead Hall was worse. There laid the body of the man she loved, her father, her mentor, and her friend. Reaching down to cradle his blood soaked body, Kari cried for the first time. After that, she was titled Harbinger.

Other/Additional: To get on Kari's good side, just give her a sweet roll and some mead. She'd love you forever.
