"You are so cool." Sheridan said with a grin as she put on her shoe and followed after him. The urgency of the situation stopped her from being shy as she usually was, so she could rather easily talk to him for now. Her heart pounded in her chest at the danger of what they were doing. If they were caught they'd be in so much trouble.

Aiden rushed to the door and tried the handle. "Locked." He muttered. "Shit, shit shit shit." he said louder as he tried the keys. He turned to Sheridan. "You any good with locks?"

"I'm not sure." She said before putting her palm to the lock and focusing hard until a spider formed inside the shade of the lock hole and started working around in there. All of her creations had her intelligence, as they were a part of her, so it should be able to do it. Sure enough, after a few long moments a click sounded and the spider crawled back out onto her hand, the door unlocked and she grinned at it before letting it vanish. "Alright, now try opening it."

Aiden smiled at Sheridan. "And you think I'm cool." he said while giving her shoulders a squeeze. He opened the door and looked inside. They were at one end of a long hallway. The hallway was a stone gray color and was lined with fluorescent lights. There were doors at regular intervals along the halls. Aiden ran into the hall motioning for Sheridan to follow. He tried the first door and said "Check the ones on that side let me know if one is open."

She nodded before going from door to door trying to open them. The third one gave results. The door opened to lab with a table in the middle surrounded by racks of tools, all for dissection. A person lied on the table, surgical clamps holding their chest wide open so that with how the table was tilted, she could see inside it from here. And she made a sickening realization, the heart was still beating, it wasn't a dissection, it was a vivisection... They were dissecting him ALIVE, and most likely without any painkillers as he seemed to have passed out in pain from the look of agony frozen on his face.

Aiden opened several doors before one opened. He looked inside and gasped in horror. There in the center of the room was a girl hanging above a pit of what looked like boiling water. She couldn't have been older than 15. Her skin was red and puffy. There was steam rising from her skin and blood trickling down her back. He entered the room and walked behind her. A tear slipped down his face. Her back was covered in lacerations. Crisscrossing across her back from the nape of her neck to the bottom of her ankles. He gingerly touched one of the cuts on her legs. She stirred and started to moan. "Oh my god." He whispered. "I am so sorry." He walked out of the room and closed the door leaning against it. He took a breath and tried not to let any more tears run down his face. He heard voices coming from the other hall and running footsteps he rushed to Sheridan and grabbed her by the arm.

She took control and yanked him into a bathroom and shut off the light. absorbing the darkness again, taking it all in until she could take in no more, but still, she could feel the pressure that suppressed her powers weighing down on her, dulling her powers and restricting what she could do. She wanted out of that horrible place, she wanted to be somewhere that there were no lights, somewhere she could put her powers to the test and strain their limits for hours, she wanted to be free to make bears and lions and snakes, everything she had ever seen. And it finally seemed close at hand, and that made her heart pound and kept fear out of her, replaced by a reckless bravery that would take her over if she let it.

Aiden yelped when the lights went out. "What are you doing?" he whispered to her. when he didn't get a response he listened to the voices and footsteps. They seemed to be talking about the man in the other room. "He is still alive." One of them said. "Yes. His powers are strong" the other replied. He heard the door close and the footsteps recede. He let out a sigh.

"I so fucking wish my powers weren't restricted, I'd make a lion and have it tear them limb from limb, slowly." Sheridan said with a snarl as she flipped the light back on, the look on her face showed just how serious she was, she looked like she actually wanted to kill them and her hands were clenched so tightly at her sides that her knuckles turned white.

He had been using the restroom when the lights went out. he heard muffled voices but couldn't exactly hear them but he figured they could probable help get the damn collar off. The buildings normal means of suppressing others powers didnt work on him for some reason but the collar they made for him kept him from almost using them completely. The only thing he could do is take memory scans of what he touches and see's that can be living and/or non-living. It was impossible for him to get it off himself for it shock him everytime he touched it with his hands. Then he hear a comment about bears or lions but nothing else. He pulled up his pants and quietly exited the stall. He approached the 2 silhouetted figures he couldn't make out in the dark and whispered to them "Hello? care to explain what's going on and how you made it past my escort/guard that was standing outside the door without causing a ruckus?" He hope his hight didnt scare them in the shadows for he was a little over 6 feet tall.

Aiden gave a little start when he heard the voice coming from behind him. He turned slowly tugging Sheridan behind him. "Who's there?" he asked in a whisper. Silently he prepared to A.W them through the door. He knew it was very risky and they might get stuck in the abyss till he recovered but at least they would be safe. Well kind of safe. He hoped.

(I turned the light on but okay o.0 I'll do it again)

Sheridan took a sharp intake of breath and flipped the light on from behind Aiden, peeking over his shoulder at the newcomer. It took her a few moments to make sense of what he said, and another few to notice his collar. He was a prisoner like them? She blinked and bunched up her cheeks. Did his room not have a bathroom? Hers did. Though she guessed that was so she didn't have to leave her room and risk having access to shadows. She decided to leave the speaking to Aiden so she stayed quiet.

The light went back on and he saw the 2 people, a boy and a girl. "Well you don't look like employees so i assume the same 'kind' as you. Speaking of which do either 1 think can remove this collar? its the only thing keeping me from using my power and i get shocked everytime i touch it with my hands or arms. Also again who are you two and what you doing here? cause i don't think you're here to use the restroom." he asked curiously. He hoped they can remove the damn collar regardless. then he could give the employee's hell, again and this time a lot worse. He has been wanting to destroy this building and kill the employees since the he been here and saw how evil these people are.

(Your grammar is killing me man come on.)

Aiden looked up at the man standing in front of him. "Woah dude. What did you do to get that tall?" he said with a smirk. "We are patients just like you." He began testing the band with his power. It felt like it was slipping over the band like it wasn't there. "Interesting" he thought to himself. "As for your collar, there is nothing I can do about it." he stated with a small frown.

"Damn," he cursed under his breath. "Anyways what you two doing here?" he asked again. He needed to get the collar off, but looks like it might not be happening now. Then he thought he should introduce himself. "The name is Quixkinvor by the way, what might your names be?"
