QUESTION!

Again...sorry...XD

Is there an established coat of arms? I want him to have a tattoo of it on his chest/shoulder area.

I like that like a family Crest

If there is one I like this for it

Feel free to decide. It's the royal family's crest so you royals can decide I don't mind.

That looks good! But...can I replace the star on the shield with a wolf head? I think we should have some sort of animal representation.

I think that the star should stay but we can incorporate a wolf's head in the middle of the star

For animal representation you guys have the wings which could be the wings of eagles symbolizing that the kingdom flys higher than any other....thats, just a thought

Yeah that is true we do have the wings but the wolf can also represent loyalty.

The wolf represents family as well...which is something I think fits here.

And I can do that. I'll see about finding a white wolf head to place in the star.

One tattoo on the left side of his chest to overlap is shoulder of the EverCrest seal and family coat of arms. Image can be found in his main image.

Appearance
His head is covered with messy, dark curls that often shine with sweat and fall neatly to broad shoulders, framing a round, young-looking face that would even be considered a "baby face" were it not for the harsh scars on his left cheek and forehead. Deep brown eyes the color of spiced rum stare in a constantly harsh gaze. A short, somewhat rounded nose stops just above thin, fair lips seemingly plastered in a permanent frown. To finish it off, this man is almost never clean-shaven, instead keeping a well-groomed beard that remains quite short at all times. Few who look upon him know what to think about him on the start. He holds himself with a posture that states he is proud of who he is, a commanding presence in any room, yet those eyes hold a story of inner turmoil, loss, and anger.

He is on the leaner side, stout in upper body and slightly heavy for his 6' frame. His body is littered with scars, particularly his back, shoulders, and chest. The most noticeable mark on him, however, is a massive tattoo that covers the left side of his chest and reaches up to his shoulder. This tattoo is of the royal family crest, and it's obvious that this was done many years ago, for the dark ink has faded with time.

Health Ailments
Allergic to Gold ~
When gold touches his skin for longer than just a few moments, it causes welps and blistering skin that can lead to even harsher skin conditions. If he touches gold for only a few seconds, he can often break out in hives in the area that has been touched by the metal. Due to this, all royal jewelry, including the signet ring on his right hand, is made of pure silver.

[fieldbox="Mentality, #800000, solid"]
Personality
Well-Mannered || Polite || Gracious
Knowing the ins and outs of the courts is second nature to a prince, even the battle-born prince such as Judas. He is well-versed in the art of how to treat a lady of the court, and he never steps out of line. His tongue is as disciplined as his body, and he never falters to use the most polite speech when in the presence of another. It is sometimes difficult for him to leave this politeness behind, and it has often bothered his comrades. However, over the years, he has learned to loosen up only when around them, and they have learned to take his gracious ways in stride. To a certain degree, they respect the prince for his attitude and style.

Responsible || Trustworthy || Disciplined
Whether it is in his training regiment, his schooling, or his basic principles, Judas is a very responsible sort. He can be deemed overly serious at times, and it is rare to see the man smile. However, he is an ear that is always there to listen, and he takes any and all secrets to the grave. Of course, the only ones who have ever come to find this out are his men and his teachers, and he's never been told about secretive magic. If something is asked of him, and it is within his morals, he will do so. If it is within his duty, it will be done. He does not ask questions, and he does not speak against his superiors. Does he sometimes have thoughts that go against what is ordered? Perhaps, but that is something he will never speak of.

Restrained || Judicious || Sensible
Like in his training and in the teachings he was raised on, Judas has grown into a very sensible man with a mind that thinks things through before acting on his own accord. While he is very good at following orders, he has the mind he needs to also be a great leader. He restrains his words when necessary and often only remarks when he has had time to truly ponder over ideas. It is because of his thoughtfulness that many of the military leaders that still sit above him in rank come to him with questions on an upcoming or possible battle. His mind is a tactician, and he is very good at working his way through any strategy. However, around those he is unfamiliar with, he isn't quite as...smooth a thinker.

Secretive || Reserved || Reticent
While he does not mean to be a secretive soul, nor does he truly have very many secrets, Judas is a very reserved man. He does not speak out against another, particularly if that person outranks him. This includes his older brother, the king, and the military generals that still sit higher than he does. He holds a great deal of respect for the pecking order, and while he may speak quietly to his younger brother about his antics, he will never out them for anything. This is both out of respect and love for the young men that he has grown up with. However, his restrained habits have become so much so that he has trouble speaking his mind to his closest friends, much less strangers. Due to this, most people know little about the second oldest prince of EverCrest.

Conscious || Mindful || Regardful
Being a very aware soul can be the difference between life and death. Judas is always aware of his surroundings, and while he may seem quite cool and calm on the outside, he is always setting up escape routes and ways out of danger if need be. This is one of the largest reasons as to why he does not like walls or enclosed spaces. He is aware of how he appears to others as well, which is why he maintains his grooming even on the battlefield. If this means he is clipping his beard between blood-spattering battles, then so be it. The greatest downside to being so self-aware, however, is that Jude very honestly sees himself as a monster, even if no one realizes this aspect about him.

Likes
  • Animals – Whether it is a predator or prey, Jude has a particular love for animals of all sorts. He finds the simplistic nature of beasts to be a comfort that he cannot find in the complicated hearts of men. He can oft be found in the stables or courtyards with many of the strays and wanderers.
  • Water – Be it a rainy day, the waterfall nearby, or the simple morning splash, water has a cooling effect that Jude can't seem to find in many other things. Water washes away the blood and sorrow of battles won and lost, the corruption of dark souls, and the decay and waste of nature. If it is raining, Jude can certainly be found outside training or riding his prized stallion.
  • Silence – The silence of the mouth can oft bring the silence of the mind. With silence comes serenity and thoughtfulness, giving one time to ponder over life's biggest mysteries. Jude is a brooding man by nature, and he can quite often be spotted sitting and taking in the silence, almost in a meditative state.
  • Moonlight – Moonlight is both a gift and a curse, washing the world with its brilliant, silver glow. It is gentler than the light of the sun, but it still grants enough light to see in the darkness of night. Jude enjoys the light of the moon, as it reminds him of all the nights away from home and away from the politics of being royalty.
  • Training – A strict training regiment is key to discipline, both in war an in everyday life. Training strengthens the body, the mind, and the spirit. Being a military leader, one must train hard and often, especially if one hopes to become the leader of the entire military force. If Jude is not out with his horse, he can quite often be spotted on the training grounds, working up a sweat with his soldiers.
  • Nature – Nature provides what man cannot. Jude has come to learn and cherish this fact, as it has saved his life and the lives of his men countless times. Be it herbs or simple foliage, a necessary rainy or sunny day, nature has always provided. A breath of fresh air is always better than the thick walls of his castle home.
Dislikes
  • Politics – Jude is a military man by many means, but he lacks a great skill in politics. In fact, he hates most politics, as they are the reason for war and suffering. At the same time, he understands that politics can be a necessary evil, so long as he does not have to partake in such things.
  • Death – There is no greater loss than the loss of a soul. The death of men is hard, the death of women and children harder. He can kill a simple beast, for he knows that the body will be put to great use, but he does not enjoy the death of men. Like politics, however, he understands that death is a necessary evil. Only, this evil is that which he must partake in.
  • Magic – Magic, Judas has learned, is the root of death, destruction, and war. It is evil to its core, and he will not tolerate such things in the lands of EverCrest. His thoughts on magic are very well-known throughout the land, as he has seen it commit great acts of treachery. Can his mind be changed?
  • Mischief – Discipline is something Jude takes very seriously, and acts of mischief outside of the manners that were taught to him since he could understand words are not tolerated very well by him. This is especially true when it comes to those of the court, particularly his brothers. He's been known to get quite angry at times over it.
  • Walls – The confinement of walls have bothered Judas since he was a small boy, always enjoying the fresh air and open skies presented to him outside of the castle. He finds walls to be imprisoning, making him feel slightly claustrophobic. This is something that bothers the young prince so much that when in the field, he sleeps beneath the stars with many of his men instead of the tent usually used for military leaders.
  • "Fine" Clothes – Like thick walls, the clothes that are typically worn by the princes are stifling and even quite itchy. Jude much prefers the soft leathers of his armor and riding attire, and he is very rarely seen in anything else. In fact, this prince hates silks and satins so much that he has been caught by many a maid naked in bed instead of wearing the usual bed attire. Unfortunately for the maids, this has resulted in some being let go due to unnecessary advances.

Hobbies
  • Cello - Perhaps because of its melancholy sound, or maybe because it was the first instrument he learned to play, Judas finds great solace in playing the cello. One of his favorite pastimes is playing its sweet, sad music for his mother whenever she's feeling down.
  • Riding - In the rain, through the muck and mud, or on the occasional sunny day, there is little better than spending time out on the back of one's trusty steed. Konabos needs regular exercise, and the feel of the mighty warhorse beneath him frees him from his troubles, if only for a short while.
  • Reading - On the ever-rare occasion, Judas likes to take a day to spend in the library. When not sneaking away to give to the poor, he likes to learn of faraway places and things that have nothing to do with war. Other times, he can be found reading books on tactics and strategy and the ever-occasional book on magic...to get a better feel for his enemies.
Fears
  • Fire – In his life, he has seen great devastation caused by massive magical flames. Hundreds, even thousands of people giving their dying screams as the flames burned them alive. Now, every time he sees even a small campfire, he is reminded of those screams, even if he does not bear any of the physical scars of such traumas.
  • His Father – A prince must always know his place, as his father quite often reminds him. While he does not dislike the king, he fears some of the man's ideals. His father is a very political man, who has seen war only on the side. For Judas, who lives and breathes war, this is something to be very afraid of.
  • Love – Judas has never turned his eye towards a woman, nor does he ever intend to, despite the many wishes of his father and even his mother. What he does not explain is that he is afraid to give his heart to someone and then lose them. What he fears even more is taking the heart of a soft, gentle woman only to rip it out by dying in battle.

Secrets
"Sometimes, the world does not need a hero. Sometimes, it needs a monster."
Judas whole-heartedly considers himself a monster by all means. Having killed many men in his time, the battle-born prince knows the evil of war. While he does not revel in it like many others, he knows that it is a necessary evil. He sees his being a monster a necessary sacrifice so that his brothers do not have to endure the same fate.
"Self-absorption in all its forms kills empathy, let alone compassion."
Despite being a prince, Judas finds the entire royalty thing to be quite overrated. He sees himself and those of the court to be posh and over-dramatic, but he plays the part nonetheless. In his free time, however, he does his very best to sneak away so that he might give some goodness back to the world. Whether it is in the form of bread, money, or simple entertainment, Judas secretly takes solace in the fact that he can give a bit back to the world...to better make up for all that he has taken away.

"Love is live. If you miss love, you miss life."
Despite his enduring fear, Judas secretly wishes for someone to see all of him and love him despite it. He wants to see himself as something more than the monster he sees himself as now. Though he does not put his eyes towards love, he always hopes that, one day, it will find him like all the stories have said. Add this to the fact that his brothers quite often tease him in their thoughts that he sleeps around, despite the fact that he has never slept with a woman, and it drags this secret deeper into his heart.

[fieldbox="Skills & Attributes, #800000, solid"]
Talents
  • Horseback Riding - Whether in battle or for leisure, Jude is a near master at riding horseback. He has grown up on the back of a horse, large or small, and can ride one in any which way, be it barebacked, side-saddle, or standing up. He knows how to keep from being de-horsed, but of course, even he can fall if not too careful.
  • Swimming - With his intense love of water and his need to be as strong and fit as possible, swimming is a surefire pastime of Jude's. From ponds and lakes to rivers and even the occasional in one of the many fountains of the garden. Though, don't tell the King about that last bit.
  • Music - While his hands may not be the best for sketching or painting or even writing (General Dumont says his handwriting is like chicken scratch), Jude has a particular talent for soft, flowing music. He is well-taught in the art of the drum, the cello, and piano. He also dabbles in the fiddle and the piccolo for the amusement of his men.
  • The Art of the Sword - A man would not be a soldier without knowing the art of the sword. From birth, he was deemed to be a military man, and since he could walk, he has been trained in the art of the sword. He is never seen without his sword on his hip, even in the fine clothes of a ball, despite his father's wishes. He is quick on his feet and surprisingly agile despite his somewhat stout size. However, he is by no means a master just yet.
Strengths
  • Tactician - Strategy is the name of the game when it comes to war, and few are more tactical than the mind of Prince Judas. His mind is cool and collected when thinking about the battlefield, and his strategies have been known to save the king's armies even when they were vastly outnumbered.
  • Military Leader - What is more important than a tactical mind in war? A leader who knows how to fight alongside his men and raise moral when it's at its lowest. His speeches have been known to raise the spirits of thousands of men in the king's armies, and it is said that their raised spirits are what brings victory on the battlefield.
  • Athleticism - In order to be a warrior of any merit, one must stay in pristine condition at all times. Judas knows this better than most, and he spends a great deal of his time honing his body when not in the fields of war. His closest friends often tell him that he overdoes it, but this does not stop him. Of course, this also means he tends to eat more than his brothers.
  • Long Range Combat - Though the art of the sword is the first thing that has been taught, a leader must know most forms of combat, be they close range or long. This is to ensure every possible outcome on the battlefield. Due to this, Judas is well-versed in most standard weapons, including the long and short bow as well as the javelin and throwing spear.
Weaknesses
  • Weapon Preferences - While Judas is versed in other weaponry, his greatest weakness in war is his preference for the sword. He prefers the sword without a shield, and he rarely carries any other weapon with him. General Dumont has told him countless times that one day, this preference will get him killed.
  • Scarred - Being on the front of the battlefield has its downsides. The dozens of scars that litter his body can later become quite the cause for concern. However, the greatest of scars are those that settle in his mind and soul, overpowering some of his more sensible thoughts. His biggest weakness is his fear and hatred of magic, particularly when it comes to finding the woman of his secret dreams.
  • Politics - The goings-on in the court are none of Jude's business in his mind, and he wants as little to do with it as possible. He is no silver-tongue, nor does he try to be. He is blunt and to the point. Because of this, he often lets his brothers handle the political debacles, much to the irritation of his father.
  • Normal Communication - While he is perfect when speaking to those within the court and his men in the field, talking to an ordinary person is very challenging for the young prince. When someone asks for him to put pleasantries aside, he may stutter and become somewhat confused. His anger can make this weakness much worse, and he is known to say things that he does not mean.
  • Large, Formal Crowds - Formal attire and large crowds that are not uniform in nature are like the massive marble walls of his prison-like home. He becomes quite distant and uncomfortable in such crowds, which only makes his hatred of politics worse. It is a chaos he does not like or understand. However, he still follows orders when told to attend such...events.
  • Hatred of Magic - Derived from previous encounters, Jude's hatred of magic could be understandable were he willing to discuss it. However, to most his hatred is so profound that many whisper that they are lucky he is not next in line to be king. His fear of it is so strong, in fact, that is negates all reason in his mind. This weakness will be something that will be the hardest to get past...but also his greatest triumph.

[fieldbox="Brief History, #800000, solid"]
Born in the depths of one of the coldest winters in EverCrest was the dark-haired second babe of the king. Like many generations before him, this child's fate was set before him the moment he was declared a boy. For the first years of his life, while he learned to walk and to talk, he was allowed to stay near his mother's side, which he had clung to heavily. He was a quiet boy from the beginning, preferring the peace of the gardens to the ruckus of his brothers and his father.

When he was finally steady on his feet, around the age of three, he was handed over to the young General Dumont, a hardy man who would live long enough to teach the boy through his many years of life. The General was already battle-hardened and did not pity the young prince for the duty that he had to fulfill. He was given full right to beat the boy if he did not obey or perform to the trainer's expectations. In the beginning, this meant a great deal of beatings. The General had come to hate royalty for their posh and self-absorbed attitudes, sitting on their high-horses and looking down their noses at each other while the soldiers fought and died for their petty whims. At first, the lad born to the king was nothing more than a puny prince - an ant that he could take his frustrations out on.

But Judas was not a violent boy. He did not enjoy learning how to do harm, and he certainly did not like learning how to kill. For the first few years, this meant a great deal of beatings. But as the years passed, he worked harder and harder, knowing that his fate had been sealed. He grew to enjoy the training regiments, and even moreso, he enjoyed the beatings, for they were a constant reminder of the monster that he would one day become. As time went by, however, the beatings came less and less, as General Dumont finally came to realize that this prince was not like the posh court members. This boy, who fled at the sight of court officials. The boy who could not lie to save his life, but could hold a secret by simply not speaking and holding his resolve. The boy who took every crack of a whip or cane silently and without complaint. Before the soldier's very eyes, the boy was very quickly becoming a man.

Scars would form from welps that did not heal, and before he even had his first taste of battle, the young prince had a back littered with them. Still, he did not complain. Instead, he would ask for the harsh, grueling training, taking enjoyment out of it. The lessons grew longer every day, taking in more art-forms besides the simple sword and shield. He would learn how to ride a horse at a young age, for he was meant to ride a noble, mighty steed into battle for all to see. Before he learned to ride, he learned to care for his horse and himself. When he was not training, he was learning how to read and write. He learned philosophy, history, and mathematics. At first, he was given an art teacher who attempted to teach him how to paint. However, it became clear quite quickly that this would not do, so instead the queen offered to send for a music teacher. Upon this request, the boy learned surprisingly fast the art of the stringed instrument, the cello becoming his greatest feat. Other instruments were introduced as time passed, but he would quite often offer to play the cello for his mother when she was feeling down.

Judas never stopped training. He never stopped striving to learn. All that was taught to him, he took willingly and even somewhat eagerly. His resolve was something that many soldiers had come to respect, and when the boy finally turned sixteen, a ripe age for war, he was sent by the king on his first trip to the battlefield.

War was grueling, as he had been told many times. Just how horrible it was, though, was something he could not have comprehended until he actually saw it with his own eyes. The blood, the sweat, the agonizing pain and death everywhere. They were losing this war, and he knew it the moment his new young stallion carried him to the scene. Instead of being taken to the tent that was designated to him, he dismounted and walked among the dying, the wounded, the broken. He took the sights in, letting his first true bouts of anger overwhelm him.

And so, the quiet, honest boy fell away to the monster of war.

It was said that the same night that Judas first entered the battlefield was the first victory in the war against the neighboring kingdom of Highever. Some rumors even state that the young prince had killed a thousand men on his own. He, of course, denies such claims and refuses to speak of that night. Bloodied, wounded, and forever marred by his experience, Judas finally became a soldier. And for the rest of his life, this would be his true identity. Prince Judas, the Bloodborn Beast.

This war with Highever would continue for many years to come, however. Much larger than EverCrest, the king was known to be quite greedy with land and taxes, having no resolve for peace. Unlike EverCrest, Highever was known to harbor magic, despite it technically being illegal in that country as well. Unlike the sorcerers who burned at the stake in EverCrest, those who revealed their magic in Highever would mysteriously disappear. No one knew why, though.

At least, not until the Battle of Bride's Peak.

The skies were dark and filled with thick, ominous clouds that screamed with clashes of thunder and flashed with cracks of lightning so large and so bright, they seemed to split the sky apart. Despite it being midday, it was hard to see more than a few feet in front of you when not being blinded by the white-hot lightning.

Judas, who was now twenty years of age, stood at the foothills of the mountains that spanned across the border between EverCrest and Highever, his hand resting on his trusted steed while he looked on. This storm had magic written all over it, and though he had never actually seen magic to this scale, he was very sure that this was the sign that Highever was on its last leg.

Bride's Peak was the tallest mountain the mountain range, and she stood just North of where his soldiers rested. White tip that had named the mountain so disappeared into the darkness, and the violence of the storm shook her to the core, making the earth beneath their feet tremble. Soon, they would have to either attack or retreat. The question in their minds was would they be able to fight magic to such a scale.

In his blind determination, the young prince decided that they could. He had no idea what the outcome would be.

Gathering his forces with the many hardy Generals of the King's Armies at his side, he gave the command to attack, hoping that Highever was too preoccupied with their magic tricks to notice that the army was moving against them. Leaving only two legions behind to watch, he went forward into the unknown. Only partially correct, he found half of the opposing forces waiting at the very base of the peak. With a loud, echoing battle cry, he and each of the generals gave the charging order, and to battle they went.

That was when they realized their mistake.

The storm was a ploy - a distraction meant to lure the prince, who had yet to truly learn the evils of magic, out of his hiding hole. Within mere moments of the first bloodshed, the earth began to shake with frightening reverence. A strange, whooshing sound was heard, and before anyone could know what was going on, a wall of flame almost as tall as the foothills and some of the mountains, themselves, washed over the soldiers in the area. Blood-curdling screams echoed, both friendly and foe. Instantly, General Dumont, who was at Jude's side as this occurred, dragged him away at a frightening speed and throwing him onto the back of his waiting steed. Being thrown out of the battle while listening to screams of agony and despair left the young prince with an understanding that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

Returning home to gather more numbers, Judas was able to remain within the walls of the castle for a few short months, attempting to recover from the great loss he had endured. Somehow, days after arriving home, he spotted his most valued friend, covered with scars of fire and caked in mud, leading what was left of the King's Armies back home. For the first time, the prince truly cried. He cried in relief for his teacher and friend, and in relief that so many were able to get away from the wall of flame that would forever haunt his dreams. He cried in pain over the loss of so many valuable lives. And he cried because he was not there to save more of them.

It would take the entire two months he was home to recover. He did not speak to anyone. Not even his mother, who he cherished so dearly. Instead, he spent the hot, sunny days training harder than ever. And when it rained, he spent his days on the back of his horse, reveling in the cool, refreshing feeling of water on his back.

It was during these two months that he found a young pup trapped beneath a cracked tree root. Under the caked mud was plush, white fur, and strange, violet eyes looked up in fear. Abandoned by her pack, this pup had no one to turn to, and in that Judas was able to find a kindred spirit. So, without any more thought, he brought the young pup home, cleaned her up, fed her, and kept her safe and warm. She would become his second closest friend and be there through the worst of his times. After all, the war was not over.

Though still a pup, the wolf would follow Judas as he led his fresh troops into battle. With a mind that understood Highever on a much better scale, he knew what he needed to do to keep from losing this war.

This time, he was able to push the forces back across the mountains. Any magical attacks were in vain, and though fresh, his soldiers were keen on his strange tactics. Once pushed back into their territory, Judas began efforts to keep them at bay, learning the ways of their court and bringing his information back to the King so that he could decide what to do.

Within a year, a shaky peace had been settled between EverCrest and Highever. They only hoped it would last longer than the time it would take for Highever to gather enough forces to crush them. Due to the uneasy nature of the country, Judas decided it was best to continue the growth of the King's Armies. And magic in EverCrest became more than illegal taboo. It became something that Judas would personally take care of.

Because sometimes a world does not need a hero...sometimes, it needs a monster.

[fieldbox="Relationships, #800000, solid"]
Family
King Harold || Father

While the kingdom of EverCrest loves their king, Judas has hated the man since he learned of the man's betrayal to his beloved mother. Add this to his fear of the king's pushy nature in the way of politics and harsh ways with the whip and cane, and there is a small amount of fear mixed with the disgust. How much Judas fears his father, and whether that fear outweighs his hatred, is yet to be known.

Queen Isabella || Mother
Where the prince may not have eyes for any woman, he loves his mother dearly and would do almost anything for her. He knows she can be quite anxious and does what he can when he is home to soothe her anxieties. He loves spending time with her in the garden and playing soft melodies for her when he has the time. She is probably the only person he would speak to on personal matters.

Prince Akinli || Younger Brother

Since the little babe came into the arms of the royal family, when Judas was only five and had just only been training for a year and a half, he was welcomed and cared for just like any son of the king. At the time, Judas didn't understand that this boy was not his mother's son, and he wouldn't find out until a few more years down the road. Due to this, he grew to love the child as much as he loved his older brother and nearly as much as he loved his own mother. Like Judas, the lad became quite close and fond of the queen, and Judas found himself spending time not only with Isabaella, but also with Akinli. It was over this course of time, while Judas trained and grew into a stronger, more formidable warrior, that his bond with Akinli truly strengthened, for the lad had grown rather interested by the art of fighting. Judas was horrified at the aspect, fearful that he would be doomed to see the brother he was trying so desperately to protect go to war anyway. Luckily for him, the boy's condition would keep him home. So, whenever Judas was home (except the two month recovery period), he would entertain Akinli by teaching him new moves and strategies, taking him out on horseback - even letting him ride Konabos, who was significantly larger than Spirit, at times. While he doesn't tell Akinli this, he is forever grateful of the gods for keeping the boy safe from the battlefield - and safe from becoming a monster like him.

Prince Chance || Older Brother
The oldest son of King Herald is not the most social of men, but Judas holds a great respect for his beliefs, attitude, and rank in the family hierarchy. He finds himself quite glad that he is not in Chance's position as next in line for the throne, and in return for this little favor from the universe, he supports Chance's beliefs whole-heartedly. These brothers spend little time together, as they have little in common, but Jude has always wondered what goes on in his brother's head. At the same time, he does his best to support the man from a distance so that his own beliefs do not corrupt his brother's mind. Sooner or later, Jude will come to realize that the advice of a soldier goes a long way, especially in war. For now, he remains distant and hopeful.

Prince Reginald || Youngest Brother
Unlike his love for Prince Lucas, the tiny boy whose skin was quite obvious different from his own dragged into the castle kicking and screaming was not a brother at all. Obvious proof that the king had once again cheated on his beloved mother, Reginald only proved to be a constant reminder of why he hated his father. Still, he always saw a spark of creativity that he, himself lacked. So, to spare young Reginald his anger at his father, Judas avoided him, even if it meant leaving the city for the sake of being away. Perhaps, with time and effort, now that Judas has grown older and wiser in his years, he can seek a brotherhood with the boy that had always been missing.

Friends
General Dumont || Teacher

The man that once beat him simply for being a prince, General Dumont has proven to be a very valuable teacher and friend. Besides his mother, this old general is probably the only person in EverCrest that the young prince would confide in. Perhaps due to everything they had gone through together. Dumont is also the only person to have ever seen Judas cry.

Mate
To Be Determined

Enemies
Prince Victor of Highever || Battle of Bride's Peak

After the Battle of Bride's Peak, Judas was able to learn the name of all the leaders of Highever at the cost of a few spies. Prince Victor is known to be as merciless as the king, willing and even happy to sacrifice his own men if it means winning the battle. Judas has absolutely no respect for the younger prince and would happily kill him if given the chance.

Magus Xandraket || Battle of Bride's Peak
The true and powerful enemy of Highever, however, Magus Xandraket is the backbone of the magical energy put into the battles between Highever and EverCrest. It was his spell that created the storm, and his spell that created the massive fire that killed thousands of helpless soldiers. Like Prince Victor, Judas would be more than happy to see this man's head on a stake.

Pets

Konabos (Koh · Nah · Bose) ~
Judas's mighty Percheron stallion. A hardy creature by nature, Konabos easily towers over any other horse in the stable. He has seen war with his rider upon his back, and he is known very well not to falter in battle. But, like his rider, Konabos often enjoys the leisurely rides outside of the castle walls.

When on leisurely rides, Konabos has nothing more than a trail saddle laden with soft furs. His mane and tail are left freely in the wind, though short they might be, as it comes with the breed. When on his way to battle, he wears the traditional braided mane and tail with the ribbons of Evercrest as well as a special saddle that is brazed with the coat of arms.

Zandara (Zan · Dar · Ah) ~
His closest and dearest friend is a beautiful female wolf found as an abandoned pup while on one of his many rides out in the rain. Zandara is a hardy girl and not afraid to get her paws dirty. She has a wonderful nose, able to pick up the smell of prey and a sneak outside the tents of the camp. Wherever Judas goes, Zandara certainly follows. Many call her quite the remarkable animal, perhaps due to her striking violet eyes. [Zandara as a pup.]

Eight years of practice and a mom who is also self-taught? People always tell me I got skill, but it's really all just filters, clipping masks, and brushes...T_T

I did do a year of art school for graphic design, but they didn't teach me anything I didn't already know. >.>'

If you'd like me to make you one, I'm sure I can find some time. <3
