Personality: Ugg can be the very embodiment of a Tail male at times. He has a vision of revenge, passionate and violent. But, on the other, long-fingered hand, he is rather quite inexperienced in many matters of his cold-blooded heart. Due to his lifestyle, he hasn't had much of an opportunity for love, and can be stupidly shy around a certain kind of female.

Infrared Vision-
Due to his reptilian bloodline, Ugg doesn't see things the way anyone who isn't a Tail does. His vision only comes in vibrant shades of reds and blues and everything in between. Warm-blooded creatures are blatantly obvious in shades of red and orange, while other Reptilians can be almost invisible to him in the right temperature.
Iron Hide- Ugg has an incredibly tough hide. Projectiles that travel below a specific speed won't penetrate him, and he is more or less fireproof - for limited amounts of time.
Tracking- Using a forked tongue to actually taste a familiar scent, Ugg can follow that person or thing. Trails go cold after around ten hours, twelve if the scent is particularly potent.
Occupation: Mercenary, soldier for hire.
Faction: No official faction, though his behavior and occupation would have others believe that he is a Curved Blade member.
Biography: Uguluthu's family was slaughtered when he was just a hatchling, hidden under the floorboards of the house. His mother survived the initial attack long enough to take him away and hide him better, but eventually, she too was slain. The attackers were under the impression that Uggs family had Chanting abilities, and thus went to collect the bounty. Unfortunately, these rumors were more or less false...
Chanting Abilities: Unfortunately, while Uguluthu and his parents had the innate knowledge of Chants, a trademark lisp presented dangerous consequences to trying to utter the words for even the most simple Chant. Yes, this is completely unfair, and has always presented Ugg with a nagging desire to be something else. Sometimes, he dreams of being human and using the chants he knows to take revenge.

Biography: Hyreich was born and raised in the wild by his two parents, who was a more hawk-like Wing, and a regular human. He thought them an odd pair, even when he was little. He grew up normal-ish, being taught by his parents and overall living a sheltered life. He didn't know or care where he was, except that he was safe.

When he reached 6 years old, soldiers came, executed his father, beat, raped, and then shot his mother, and then tried to put him in a ring with a very angry boar, for sport. Using his claws, beak, and wings/hands, he managed to piss of the boar to the point that it charged him, torn down the weak barricade that had kept the fights from getting into the spectators, and fled in the panic. Since then, he ran as far away as he could. Once satisfied with the distance, he built a cottage, and lived quietly, not wanting to revisit the people of his nightmares.

Chanting abilities:
- Healing chants
- Example may be to heal a sword cut, or perhaps an arrowshot wound, though the pain does transfer to him slightly, and uses up his strength
-Wisdom chants
- Example may be, when chanting, his targets will possibly figure out a weakspot faster, or be able to dodge more attacks. It'll increase reaction time and combat effectiveness, mainly.
- Athletics chants
- Example be that when he chants, one will have improved speed, or strength. Fly faster, swim faster, move faster, increase in strength and agility. Support-y type.

Chants: The chant he uniquely knows is that to heal whoever he is targeting, from any distance, though can be very taxing on himself.

Kael, or as he prefers to be called, Kharn, is a mysterious figure. He has a tall and elegant posture, as if he were a noble of some kind, however he is rarely found clad in something other than a black cloak. His face is sharp and pronounced, and framed by a white beard, similar to that of Count Dooku from the other side of the fourth wall. He carries no weapons or armour, finding his abilities to be far more reliable.
Personality: Kharn is a rogue, and he prefers to work alone. He is cold and level-headed, and he is adept at hiding his emotions. He wears a constant mask of hatred which contorts his face into something that can strike fear into the core of an adversary. He can be reckless at times, and sometimes his anger can manifest in more than one way.
Skills: Kharn has a natural gift for tactics and leads teams of angry chanters into successful attacks against the believers. He is also extremely talented with "magic" and only needs to imagine the words of the chant rather than say them. Which is quite fortunate given that he is physically mute.

Chanting abilities: If any:
Kharn can summon his power by reciting chants in his head. These take the form of an ancient language forgotten to most, and as that culture had words for menial things that modern people wouldn't even think they would need a word for, the chants are more accurate and often faster to cast than their commontongue versions. This comes at a price though, and, even though he can mask it to others, his mental state has come into question several times.

Chants:
Kharn generally focuses his power into punishing his enemies. His favourite chants are those that channel pure death and shadow, and with good reason. They produce a much messier outcome. They are also more expensive, so he can often be seen using lightning as well. He uses brutal and effective power, and is working on trying to figure out a way of physically tearing the vital organs and/or blood out of a victim.
His most used power of each type:
Mindlock:
Kharn shuts down the part of the target's brain responsible for rationality, which in turn makes the target reckless and headstrong, increasing their stupidity by at least 500%. This makes them ridiculously easy targets as they just walk straight into range.
Shadowsteel:
Kharn materialises a blade or other metallic object out of thin air. It can be moved about using a variant of telekinesis, giving unmatched manoeuvrability. It's power scales with the strength of dark emotions nearby. It will always be relatively potent due to Kharn's own hatred, but it would be huge, sharp and lethal if Kharn were duelling another with similar traits.
Bolt Strike:
A powerful jolt of lightning fries any single target. The shot is generally slow to charge though, even in his ancient tongue, as it involves concepts so complex that even the ancients didn't bother making words for them. It works best on a target that has been prevented from moving.
Darksleep:
The target is sent into a deep and nightmare plagued sleep in which they will often get up and do things, like sleepwalking, only it usually results in them walking into a dangerous situation. Like a barfight.
True Chant:
For some reason, when Kharn uses his True Chant, he loses memories, mainly ones which are related to some sort of happy time in his life. This leaves him as a wreck of a character and also led to him forgetting how to physically speak. In return, he temporarily becomes an avatar of rage, his body becoming enveloped in a shroud of darkness and his anger being expressed through involuntary bolts of electricity and plasma which incinerate, vaporize and disintegrate everything within range.

To those who know her, Emma is a sweetheart She is a kind, generous person. While she has a great talent for chanting, Emma uses her gifts for good, most of the time. Emma knows how to defend herself, even before her parents died, her father was teaching her how to use a sword, and hand to hand combat. She's been training ever since. Emma doesn't like crowded spaces, they give her a sense of unease, as if someone could guess who and what she is. She is a very well known chanter, and has been hunted all her life. It has been a hard life, but she always manages to survive.

Emma has around 2 or 3 abilities that she's discovered so far. They are Healing/life, and she can control water and fire (Fire element is not very strong at the moment). Emma sings her 'chants'. She has a beautiful voice that fills the air whenever she sings. It's hauntingly beautiful, and you would know it anywhere. She mainly uses her talents for good, but will defend herself.
Chants:
  • Healing-she heals a lot of people, some of them were minutes from death. This is her true chant, she can even bring back the dead, within about 5-10 minutes of their death, because their spirit is somewhere near. It takes her longer, but it is worth it. Her healing song could last for hours, if it needs to. Healing saps her strength and energy, if she does too much in one day, it could kill her.
  • Life- so far, all she has been able to do is control plant life. She refuses try to take or control another sentient being's life, so it's unclear as to whether it's even able to be done.
  • Water and Fire- she can control water, fully, but fire is only a small flame, enough to build a fire, that's it. If she tries to do more with fire, it would get out of control and the fire would rage, consuming almost everything in its path.

Murky Waters, It which clouds their eyes is a anglerfishman with a mouthful of needle sharp teeth and a body covered with fins, webbing, scales and mucus. his eyes are large and pale accustomed to the deep-water caves of his peoples shrines. His angler light glowing faintly or sharply with a pale light. His body and limbs are long and thin. When on land He usually crawls or walks bent over but if he were to stand up straight he would tower over most men. He wears a fishnet loincloth where he keeps fishing hooks and other useful items.

Personality:
Being a tribe shaman makes Murky Waters, it which clouds their eyes naturally superstitious and he believes that behind every wrongdoing there's a bigger fish to fry.
Like his fellow tribesmen Murky Waters, It which clouds their eyes believes that if it can be skewered on a gig or caught in a net you can eat it, and if time can be spared leaving it in water for a few weeks makes it bloated and delicious otherwise raw food will do. Quite fascinated by the strange customs of the land dwelling creatures Murky Waters, It which clouds their eyes is eager to learn new things about this foreign world. Although he appreciate fine craftsmanship as well as the next man he sees true beauty in the things which can be found in nature, specifically the sea, such as a pebble slowly formed by grinding sands and waves or pretty seashells.
They say dolphins will help sailors lost at sea to find their way back to land but Murky Waters, it which clouds their eyes will take them all the way to the dining table.
Everything is considered fish until proven otherwise, the most for proof being if it's edible.

Biography:Murky Waters, It which clouds their eyes is the Shaman of a small tribe of fins out in the great waters of the south. Murky waters, It which clouds their eyes trained under the last Shaman: Pale Pearl, treasure in ugly shell and he was trained by the shaman before him. The Shaman line of his tribe are Chanters. His people live on floating hovels and in underwater caves in the stormy sea, rarely visiting land and feeling great comfort in the bad weathers and dark depths keeping interaction with strangers to a minimum. He was chosen as a small fry by Pale Pearl, treasure in ugly shell to undergo Shaman training because of his prowess at chanting. Growing up he trained hard and helped out with the duties life in the tribe demanded of him. When he got older he visited the dry shores to the north and learned more about these strange lands from his kinsmen by the coast. Murky Waters, It which clouds their eyes have never felt hunted for his powers because his tribe as a whole stays hidden and feels hostile actions against him to be directed at his tribe, although he has learned from his kinsmen that people that is considered as chanters are being hunted on land. His tribe/village is called Flotsam, that which stays afloat.

Chanting abilities: If any:Murky Waters, it which clouds their eyes chanting powers is a distilled knowledge passed on from generations of chanters with unknown origin. The chants relate to the culture of his people allowing him to channel powers to control the weathers, the seas and the creatures within it. In times of famine he can chant to bring food to his peoples nets , In times of fear he can chant to bring the mists thick around their homes, in times of plenty he can bring water from the skies and darkness from the depths to take it all away. Murky Waters, It which clouds their eyes chants by calling attention to himself from the force he wish to channel by shouting poems, waving his arms about and throwing fish guts around him, the waving and fish guts isn't really necessary but as a Shaman the show is half the magic.

Chants:

It which feeds us: Even the most skilled fisher will often have to wait a long time before catching something so to help your belly fed you sometimes have to give it a helping hand. Although mainly used to get a fish caught on a hook or in a net this chant is applicable whenever "All good things come to those who waits" isn't soon enough. The longer you wait for what you want the more plausible it is for the chant to work.

It which blows: calls on the weather to change the direction and intensity of the wind. When done under water it changes currents.

It which drizzles: calls on the skies to open bringing forth rain in varying quantities.

Fish from below: Fish surges up from the depths bursting the water surface with enough speed to launch them a fair distance with mixing results. This chant must be done near water.

It which hides us: with either thick fog or heavy rain obscuring vision so that the chanter can't be seen, nor anyone else in the afflicted area. If done underwater it will either make the water murky or fill it with bubbles making it opaque. Because the lack of vision makes it hard to move in the wet shroud it's best used to avoid trouble rather than solving it.

Tempest: Call on horrible storms bringing water and fish alike, form above, from bellow, from everywhere. At sea it will bring forth great waves. The ritual required to perform this chant involves a pool or bowl of water mixes with fish blood and the consumption of five fish heads, the bodies placed in a circle around the water. No one have ever tried using more then five fish but it has been said that it'll be enough. Would anything or anyone but the chanter disturbe the water no one knows what could happen.

True Chant: "Summon bigger fish"
Imagine that picture of the little fish being eaten by a bigger fish who is then eaten by a even bigger fish and so on and so on. Now imagine you're the small fish, the bigger fish don't really matter because you've already been eaten, but if the bigger fish ate the big fish just a moment sooner you'be be off scott-free. That's the Idea behind this chant, the chanter will be able to deal with the immediate threat by calling on a even bigger and fishier threat to deal with the first one and to prevent the new threat from causing trouble: bigger fish! The amount of times this will repeat depends on how well the chanter has prepared and for how long he is able to continue chanting. The effects can result in anything from a whale falling from the heavens to a horrific monster lurking in the depths to burst forth. To efficiently predict how many times a bigger fish will come the chanter will have to put smaller fishes into bigger fishes for as many times as he wishes bigger fish to be summoned, this matryoshka fish will then be eaten in the preparation of the chant. The dangerous thing with big fish is that they can often eat several smaller fish and might do just that if not stopped soon enough. Of course fish just don't hang around waiting to be called upon so In reality the summon actually brings forth fish from the great seas of Murky Waters, it which clouds their eyes mind to materialize in our realm, although Murky waters, it which clouds their eyes don't know that and believes strongly that behind every corner, in every cloud and under every rock there hides a bigger fish just waiting to summoned even if there wasn't one there the first time you looked.

This is an example of the chant fish from below, In order to get as many fish as possible the chanter would have to starve himself so that he can really focus on all those delicious fish.

Personality: abbott is a extremely patient and determined person. if he wants something or has some goal in mind. he will do whatever it takes to get there. hes not much of a brute, hes more like a business man. only resorting to violence when the situation calls for it, otherwise he would search for a diplomatic solution. some would say abbott is a self centered and ruthless man. though, he would tell them they're wrong and he is not a man at all, so they would be politically incorrect and that the official term is a business feline.

background: from the moment of birth abbott was brought into the world of trading. his entire family were travailing merchants, so they moved as one giant caravan. once they got into a city they would split up and set up shop for awhile. once they were done, they rounded back up and put the earnings into one giant stockpile. the tax family would then resupply and get the essentials: food, clothes, repairs. etc.

abbott would commonly accompany his father when they split up to sell merchandise. maybe it was luck, maybe it was coincidence, but just like his father abbott had the gift of the gab. so, as abbott got older he helped his father out at his vending stall. around the age of 15 he was kicked out of his family's caravan. abbott had to do the only thing he had done his entire life in order to survive. he scourged up some cash and started up his own caravan and started traveling.

Chanting abilities: abbott uses his chats though words.

abbott wasn't born into a family of chanters. none of his family were. he learned about chanters early into his teenage years but didn't quite care for them. it wasn't till he was around 15 when he found out the power be hide them. he was visiting a old town by the name of humteeth. from the moment he heard the towns name he knew it was going to be a strange experience.

he was sent at a shrine for a delivery. he wasn't sure what it was but his father had him make the drop. abbott walked into the shrine and was greeted with a fireball. he was lucky enough not to of gotten hit with it, but unfortunately abbott used the package as a shield and it burned as a result. he didn't get payed, but he did get a lecture on how not to enter peoples homes without knocking first. he asked the old man what cause the fire ball... though at the time he regretted it, for he was met with a whole lecture about chanters. though this is what sparked his interest into becoming a chanter. abbott was able to convince the old man to train him. he agreed reluctantly.

both in his free time or any time he could sneak away. abbott would be at the shrine learning and training to become a chanter. at first he tried the different ways of channeling chants. he found that words seem to flow best and he it easier and a bit more convenient to use then the others. though he did like the old mans whistling chants. abbott was only able to do this for about a month before his family left town. he did not have any real time to prefect any chants, though he did learn the basics of how to chant. in secrecy abbot continued his training while travailing. his first chant was like a projected voice... or a mini sonic boom. at first it drained him of his energy and eventually he showed his father. his father was both impressed and dissapointed. his father told him to leave the caravan after they arrived to the next city. him being able to chant would distupt the peace of the group and bring the beilf down on them. his father gave him some of the stockpiled gold so he could start his own life away from the family.

Personality: Taron is a calm individual. He likes to take his time and think things trough and observe a situation before taking action. Very kind towards others and often easily sees in them what they need the most before they themselfs realise. Can at times be a bit annoying to deal with due to this. But He thinks one should learn trough experience instead of words.

Biography: Taron is from a farming village. Growing up he was much calmer and more careful than the rest. Also a bit of a crybaby. Not to mention a mamas boy. A favourite among the adults as the cute and responsible guy. Though few believed he would mount up to much in the future. Hard to believe he is now among the strongest and tallest for that matter. He was sold towards knighthood early when the first knights visited his village.

He quickly sought to become one of them. However he didn't want to leave the farm alone yet either. His father a smart man figured why not practice on the farm and work at the same time. And then apply later on. As you may notice his life is not much to talk about being quite ordinary. However later as he reached knighthood. He came into conflict on what the knights he trained with wanted and did. And so left the group to travel and see if he could find what he wanted to do with his knowledge and skills.

Chanting abilities: If any:
He speaks in poems and riddles. Wise words and quotes also helps him to put his abilities to use.
History and usage: He learned trough books and when ascending to knighthood. Mostly prefers to avoid using the chants. He thinks it's more of a last way out. And should not be relied upon

Chants:
The sovereign stands firm, Never neglecting him self towards neither the commanding nor the manipulative. The Sovereign stands strong never failing ever standing...

(This chant causes a small light to glow on peoples shoulders he can see these even trough walls. A blue glow means you are innocent. An Orange glow means you have aggressions and violence in mind. Purple tells of Dark secrets and a dark mind. Black tells of a recent murder. If it's a fierce flame you are an evil man)

(a very nice little chant. It can help a sick or injured person or easy your tiredness. but also even help a person with a little extra strength. It's not powerful but enough to fix the small things)

Biography: Liana is the bastard daughter of a prince and a bakers daughter. A sad history and one that leaves her without a mother. And also a house that would rather she grows up to marry for political reasons. Good thing she prefers to travel and have fun. Liana has been on the road since she turned eleven. Following another woman who taught her how to dance and sing. While also showing her how to chant even more than the old woman back in the village had a chance to.

Sadly you can't live of little like that. And growing up Liana learned a few other tricks. Not so popular with her travel partner but it gave them food when needed. Separated at an uproar in a small town. Liana went a darker path for a time learning how to kill in the dark. And how to lure men. It was thanks to a certain Taron that she was brought from the cold grip of death and no longer is stuck in that spiral of trouble. As he saved her from a failed mission. Now she happily pesters his daily life. Enjoying it like she did in the early days of her journey.

It's in her blood and she loves every part of it. Any way of expression she uses to chant.

History and usage: She learned it from an old lady in the village where she grew up. Oblivious to what power she was learning she developed and used it freely till experience thought her that it was dangerous to. She uses it often. For bad or good deeds Chanting is a part of her life.

To explain them She mostly chant about the elements. There are of course countless small chants for other things to. But often not as strong or versatile as calling upon one or several elements.
And you need to understand that this is a person that loves to sing and perform.
So for her Chanting is a very easy thing that comes to her naturally and beware she is quite powerful with her chants something she keeps hidden since it causes unease and hostility from some groups of people. And nothing is as bad as an uncomfortable audience...

Lianas chant is at best described as otherworldly. Long and very powerful you might be able to make some words about the elements, Nature and life. But finding more than that which can be described as normal words of our language is hard. She calls it the World song. And not even she is fully sure on how she learned it or "made it"

Now the thing about this song except it's strength and ability to affect an large area. Is that it's also a very dangerous song if she tries to push it. It's not made to be the ultimate attack. And thus the more she tries to go that path the harsher the backlash for her to the point of being lethal.

But it's not just a large awesome chant. It can be used on levels. Each part of it taking it's own toll on her mind and body.

Personality: Ian is extremely stubborn, rude, and irritable. When he isn't tossing back countless amounts of ale at the local pub he is getting if fights of all kinds. On the positive side if you get him to laugh you're on the right path to becoming his friend. He will fight anyone or anything who insults him, where he is from, how he acts, or just by looking at him wrong. Ian is a kindred spirit, but he will insult you if you don't make a good impression right from the start.

Skills: Two handed fighting, improvised fighting, taunting, and (his favorite) hand to hand combat.

Skills off the battle field: Being able to drink a lot without getting drunk right off the bat, insults, medical healing, and the civilized art of penmanship.

Occupation: Curved Blade Warrior/ Retired Monster Hunter

Biography: Ian was one of seven children to grow up in the Kirkpatrick household and one of three middle brothers. Growing up Ian would roughhouse with his brothers thus giving him a small amount of knowledge on how to fight. This knowledge was amplified when he joined his homeland's monster hunting guild. You see his homeland is very close to a forest teaming with what left of the monsters from the days of old, because of this the forest was given the name The Dark Wood. Instead of chants the guild taught him the ways of median and how to push his body to the max. Ian spent 10 years in the guild (Age 15 to 25) learning all the guild had to offer him then the day came where he was instructed to live in the woods for 5 years. During his time in the woods Ian would come face to face with death countless times, and would be dead if it were not for the medical skills he learned. When Ian emerged from the forest after those five long years he was given a choice either stay in his village and continue to serve or go and serve the people of the world. Not wanting to face the horrors of the forest again Ian chose the ladder. The guild signed Ian up to join the Curved Blades and was sent packing. Ian Remained in the Curved Blades making his way up the latter to where he is today. During his time in the Curved Blades he learned to rely on physical fighting skills, modern medicine, and real world skills. In fact he talks down to people who chant. Ian is a heavy drinker and it takes a very long time for him to get drunk. This is because during his time in the forest all he had to eat and drink was stale bread and dark ale. Currently Ian is off duty from Curved Blades and is taking some time to himself. One thing to note about Ian is that because of his time in the Dark Wood he is extremely hostile towards any of the union races (ears, hooves, ect.).

Biography: She was born in a secluded family that taught her the basics of chanting and once she reaches the age of 16, dropped her off in a village called (I'll add the name later since I'm not sure if I can just freely make one up). From there she began to take interest in adventuring but she quickly realized that even her chanting wasn't quite enough to give her a fair chance of survival (the ones she knew were of reviving and healing as her family was more of a passive type). She began to seek out training for various ways of combat settling for the few that seemed to suit her. At the age of 18 she set off to seek adventure in various places and came to discover her interest in befriending animals when she wasn't busy adventuring. Often-times her take on "adventuring" is hanging silently around the village she's currently staying in and listening for any rumors going around about threats to the village, someone with a bounty on their head, a person in distress etc.
