Story...
There is a book that exists that holds the names of many yokai both friend and foe. The holder of this book controls all whose names reside within it. This book of names is sought by yokai everywhere in order to either reign over their own kind or to gain back their lost freedom. It has been passed down within a family of humans by those who can see these yokai freely with naked eyes from the time of their birth. There two halves to this world; humans and yokai. They are always intertwining yet never truly meeting.
Introduction...
This will be a slice of life styled RP which means there won't be a lot of fighting, things could get emotional and characters will hopefully develop a bit. The original storyline will be the same for the most part. Diverging from it won't be penalized, as I try not to stifle players' creativity even in a pre-made world.
Plot...
Yokai are drawn to the one who smells like Natsume, for that is where the book of friends will be. This time, however, there is more than one book. There are smaller books that have been split up and hidden all over their town and some far places in secret. Some only a yokai could find, some only a human, but neither can go alone. Can human and yokai truly co-exist? Which path will you choose?
Characters...
This will have a strictly OC character list and anyone can play as a yokai. There is a three character limit for each player. This site has a collection of yokai along with their lore. Please do give us the lore when posting a CS for a yokai. In the anime there are cases of yokai working for humans with the ability to see them like those who can exorcise them so a team could be made between a yokai and human.
