Plot
A war as old as time its self, Chosen Angels Vs Fallen Angels. In an old run down city called Avalon City there have been mysterious deaths, attacks and disappearances. These are the work of Lucifer (aka the devil) and his servants The Fallen Angels. He has sent them to earth to corrupt and harvest as many human souls as possible, the more souls he has the stronger he becomes his plan is to ultimately invade and destroy heaven. The Chosen Angels have been sent to earth to stop them and protect mankind, but nothing is ever so simple there are certain humans known as Seers who can see an angels true form even when they are trying to hide it. Even some normal humans know of the war setting up groups to either aid or hinder them. despite common belief Angels are not fully immortal, they don't age but they can be killed just not by normal means. The Chosen Angels will die if their heart is pierced by any object that has been used in satanic rituals. A Fallen Angel will die if their heart is pierced by an object of god, such as a crucifix, a cross a knife dipped in holy water etc. Other than that they will simply heal but not instantly.

This is set in the modern 2010 world


Who You Can Play

A Fallen Angel
Fallen angels are the slaves of Lucifer an eternal punishment for their mortal sins, but some choose to become these fearsome creatures most have only darkness in their souls. they look like normal humans when they choose it but in their natural form they have coal black wings, blood and pale skin. They feed on fear its what drives them without it they become weak and could even die, they suck it out of a persons soul causing great pain and sometimes even death. The Fallen can summon hells creatures to their will and command them to do their bidding.The Fallen are most powerful at night under a full moon. They cannot touch a crucifix or holy water as it burns their skin. The Fallen can also bend the element of Fire to their will. ((but nothings set in stone, you can be a fallen angel who is secretly good, or working for the Chosen or even a double agent.))

A Chosen Angel
Angels are the protectors of earth and the keepers of peace, they too appear normal but have pure white wings, skin with a slight golden sheen and silver blood. The Chosen can bend the element of air to their will and they can also call upon animals to assist them, they are powerful but the dark angels drain them. They need to be around churches, crosses and holy water, it is when they are at their most powerful. They are weakened by Satanic objects and the spilled blood of the innocent. ((once again get creative! you could be an evil spy, double agent, wishing to join the Fallen))

A Seer
Seers are humans who have the ability to see angel's true forms even when they are hidden, Their skills are highly regarded by both sides. They have been either hired or forced to expose angels true forms. Seer's also have the ability to manipulate emotions to an extent with their voices, eyes, instrument etc and can have flashes of the future, those that have mastered this can filter to a certain degree what they see and perform it at will. Those less experienced cant control what they see and it happens unexpectedly, experienced or not these flashes can also be triggered by objects or people. There are a select few who can bend water to their will.

Personality: Unreadable, sadistic, secretive and psychotically-graceful.

History: Originally the standard bearer of Lucifer's legion, Azazel was the third angel to join the Rebellion. He was defeated in battle by the Archangel Uriel and cast from heaven on the the third day of the War. In Hell he took delight in helping Mammon construct the First Satanic Court of Pandaemonium and thereafter he was never far from Lucifer's side. Though originally a soldier and a zealot, Azazel was one of the first demons to behold the beauty of the daughters of men. Overcome with lust, Azazel led the second expedition to Earth (the first being Lucifer's sole voyage to the Garden of Eden), and with the Watchers he began seducing human females. He taught mankind the secrets of sorcery, alchemy and weapon-forging, and with the women conceived a race of half-demons called Nephilim. Azazel's reign of terror came to an end with the Great Flood, in which the Nephilim were drown and he was captured by the Archangel Raphael. Azazel spent the next 1000 years bound beneath the desert of Dudael, only released by Lucifer himself after the death of Christ. A millennia in darkness has destroyed all that remained of Azazel's angelic beauty. He is now demonic, through and through. ​

Age: Time has little meaning down in the Pit

Status: Minion

Appearance:

The Teddy

Bear's features are not set in stone, as after every shift they change; one day she may be a short-haired blonde girl with a petulent face, the next she may be an aggressive looking redhead complete with freckles. One thing that remains consistent, however, is the colour of her clothes, which are always red.

Her voice is whispery and quiet most of the time, but there's a savage, growling quality to it, as though she's holding something back. Bear's fully capable of roaring like a full-grown bear, however.

Personality: Bear acts the way she looks; like a small child. She's petulent, abrasive, and funnily enough rather childish. She's also pretty obsessed with that teddy of hers; either she's holding it or it sits in her backpack, and she'll become extremely upset and angry if someone attempts to take said teddy from her.

If they continue trying, things... go downhill from there.

This isn't to say that Bear's stupid, however. She possesses a considerable amount of predatory cunning, and knows how to use both her forms to lure and destroy both humans and angels alike.

History: The Pit's a hell of a place, so the joke goes. An ever-shifting plane where the souls of the damned are forever tormented for their sins, at the heart of which rules Lucifer. The creatures that step from such a place are as twisted and confused as the land they came from, and every bit as dangerous.

The Grizly Bear is such a creature. Her mind is fractured and broken from her time in the Pit, but she has flashes of a life she might once have led, or they could just be delusions of a shattered mind. She remembers a childhood in a small town, the smell of her mother's hair, and of course Teddy.

Now all she has left is Teddy, the item from which she has been given her name. As one of the hunters of Lucifer's first-lieutenant, she has been taken from the Pit to serve her master's will on Earth.

Other: Going Grizly - Bear may look small and sweet, but she IS a monster of the Pit. Her skill as an assassin lies in the fact that her form changes. Given a few moments to prepare, her body and Teddy begin to combine. The twisted bear's face is sewen onto her own by invisible needles, the claws are driven into her finger-tips and become as sharp as steel. In short, she becomes a hideous, bleeding fusion of man and bear, truly The Grizly Bear from which she gets her name.

And then people tend to die.

Status: Fallen Soldier under Azazel's command.

Personality: Cold, brutal, logical, and Bipolar.

History: Antarius is a physical manifestation of but a fraction of Hell's energy. Given life by Lucifer himself, Antarius was to be a messenger of his allegiance, and was tasked with the harvesting of souls via corruption, and taint. Antarius completed his duties much to the satisfaction of Lucifer, and his various subordinates. His presence is a closely guarded secret of Hell, and thus his existence is unknown to the Archangels, or God.

Other: Antarius's wings are white, and glow with a radiant light.

Archangel Michael played by Orion

Name: Michael, Archangel Michael, Saint Michael, etc.

Age: Appears to be in his twenties but his true age is unknown by man.

Gender: Male.

Status: Archangel

Appearance:

His hair is blonde and his eyes a divine blue which can give hope to his allies and strike terror into the sinful. His clothes are primarily white but are garnished here and there with golden accents. For some reason it seems impossible for blood, dust, or anything which may dirty the Archangel physically to stain his clothes or himself. When his wings are spread they are an elaborate display of pure white feathers with an enormous wingspan befitting one of his stature and reputation. His wings may also give off a golden glow during battle as if to repel the unsightly nature of bloodshed.

Personality: Loyal and merciful. He will follow orders from the Lord without question. He will do everything in his power to save humanity and put an end to Lucifer along with all those who serve the Fallen Angel.

History:

"And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down — that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him."

Michael is referred to by many titles other than his name, a few miracles in the Bible are dedicated to him, but the event all know him for his when he cast Lucifer down from Paradise during the Rebellion. It is said he is the most powerful of all the Chosen Angels. Several Angels look to him as an example of what it means when one is completely devoted to the Lord. Demons likely fear him just as much as those on the side of the Lord revere him. Michael is also the only one directly called an Archangel in the Bible, depending on what version it is written by the humans.

Recently when Summer was chosen to lead on Earth instead of him, Michael chose not to question the Lord's judgment as he always had trusted it. Instead of holding a grudge which would undermine the efforts on Earth to fight back Lucifer's minions he chooses to aid the younger Angel when she asks him for assistance. One could even say that while she may be leader of the Angels on Earth, he is leader of the Angels in Heaven. But whether or not he always trusts the choices and judgment of Summer on the battlefield is another story. . .

Other: After witnessing his control over the element of air, some have even called him the "Master of the Wind".

Saelius by Tegan

Name: Saelius

Age: Late twenties/early thirties, though rumored to be over 2,000.

Gender: Female

Status: Seer; One of the most accomplished of her kind

Appearance: Spoiler

Personality: Good-humored, matronly, nurturing, wise. Saelius is very protective of her art's secrets.

History: Not much is known about Saelius' beginnings (though there are rumors of her being one of the daughters of Methuselah, these are unfounded) and Saelius is not saying much. It doesn't matter, anyway. All that is known is that she has been around for a very long time, first as a witch maiden, fighting for both the sides of good and evil, until she finally decided to remain neutral. The last few hundred years or so, her guidance is sought by angels, humans and seers alike.

Abilities: Saelius is a master of her craft; she has the ability to control water and influence the thoughts and feelings of men (though angels and humans with strong wills can resist this) sometimes it is difficult to tell if her persuasiveness is from her powers or simply good negotiation.

Saelius has learned to read navigate the tides of time, and it is her ability to see into the future that many have sought her aid in many matters. However, though she can see into the future at will, she does this very rarely, as it can upset the balance of nature. She warns those whose future she reads that any visions she glimpses are only one of many possibilities.

Celestial Spear:

Left from her days as a witch-warrior, this spear can harm both human and angel alike. Its origins are unknown, only that a great king gifted her with it, after her decimation of his enemies in battle. It has been many years since its last use.

Lex played by El Diablo

Status: A Fallen angel secretly feeding information to Summer and the chosen

Personality: quiet, reserved, quick tempered, uncaring, thick skinned, prone to fits of rage.

History: Not much is known about Lex's life before he became an angel, but he became Lucifer's personal hit man taking out anyone he felt like it. Lex, after being ordered to kill a child had a change of heart and arranged a deal with God that if he helped the chosen as an informant he would be allowed to enter heaven. Hes not so sure if that promised will be kept but he'll try anything to escape hell.

Other: Lex killed his victims with two long swords and still carries them as protection and cover.

Richter von Brandt played by Chaos

Personality: Confident, Laid Back, Observant, and Valiant. Often addresses people of a higher position in a very casual, laid back manner.

History: Richter hails from Germany and came to America in 1985 at the age of three with his mother. His family have been known Seers for the past some two-hundred years. They are set apart from other Seers by having no control over water. Instead, the von Brandt family, as their surname might suggest, have a higher affinity for fire and are capable of conjuring and manipulating it. Richter is fluent in both German and English, and though his dress sense might be a little aristocratic for this day and age, he is as normal as they come if you don't take the whole "Able to see angels and conjuring of fire" thing into account.

Other: Despite the abolition of the monarchies in Germany and Austria in 1919, Richter likes to keep the von in his name as he finds it more aesthetically pleasing.

Orexis played by Celcius

Personality: True to her name, Orexis Fervidus (literally, Passionate Desire) acts on her desires. Though she was naive to a fault when she was younger, the rebellion changed her. Her innermost desire is to find a way back to heaven, or at least to be born as a human so she can get to heaven when she died. After all, she had been waiting thousands of years to get back to heaven, she could wait a little longer. This shows another side of her: though she is passionate, she is also a patient huntress, willing to endure whatever trials to get what she wants. If someone who she doesn't like asks her to do something, she'll outright refuse unless they bribe her with something she loves; she will act then.

History:
Origins

Lust never experienced humanity. She was created by God when God created the heavens. Unlike most of the angels, however, she was created to embody one of the emotions of God, thus the name Orexis, or desire. She found Lucifer to be the most appealing of the angels and followed him everywhere, attempting to please him as well as God, though Lucifer spared next to no attention to her. She didn't mind though; she was patient from the beginning and was always waiting for him anyways. In addition, they were both ageless, so she could spend eternity chasing him. Or so she thought.

Lucifer knew Orexis' personality: though patient, she always acted upon her desires. However, her greatest flaw was being naive to a fault. Utilizing this weakness to exploit her strength, he asked her to murder an angel that was in the way of his plans to overthrow heaven, though he didn't tell her this. Though confused by his request, Orexis went ahead to carry out his orders, believing that it was for the betterment of heaven.

It was a lesser angel that Lucifer asked Orexis to kill, an angel with very little power. Already having mastered her ability to shapeshift, she turned into an armor scaled serpent and crushed the life out of the angel. As Orexis threw the body down to earth, she thought she saw another angel, but ignored it. Her work was done upon Lucifer's orders. She had nothing to worry about.

She didn't know that Lucifer would lead the Rebellion though.


The Rebellion

When the Rebellion came, Orexis was completely confused as to why angels warred against each other. Orexis sought out Lucifer, not wanting to join in the fight, but an angel hit her from behind, stunning her. To this day, Orexis has no idea which angel did it, but the angel grabbed the stunned Orexis' hair from behind, lifted her up, and ripped out her eyes. Orexis screamed in pain, not comprehending what kind of evil creature would do this to her. The angel hit Orexis again, nearly knocking her out. Blind and in such extreme pain so that she couldn't move, Orexis could do nothing but writhe in agony as the angel cauterized her eye sockets with a flaming cross so her eyes would never regenerate. Then, the angel sewed her eyelids shut, a humiliation to Orexis as she treasured the beautiful body that God had given her. The angel left Orexis in this state, never to see again. Orexis screamed for Lucifer to help her, but he didn't come.

She wept a tearless mourning over herself until she was cast out of heaven for helping Lucifer.


Seductress of the Fallen

Unable to see, she wandered the earth singing laments of heaven lost. However, if she felt another intelligent being's presence, she would instantly shapeshift into a small animal and seem to disappear. It was in this way that she came to be known as a ghost of a rape victim. However, the Fallen knew better and sought her out. It took a long time, but they found her and managed to recruit her. They taught Orexis to use her other senses to "see" and she developed a high reaction speed to her other senses.

However, she still lamented for heaven in her heart of hearts. She no longer desired after Lucifer, but one of Lucifer's lieutenants, Leviathan, who desired her, renamed her Orexis Fervidus (Passionate Desire) because she could turn the heads of men and male Fallen with her sheer beauty, though his minions called her Lust, which stuck. He undid the sewing of her eyelids and, once the thread holes healed, inserted glass eyes that connected with her magic into her eye sockets. Though she still couldn't see out of them for the cauterization, Lust now had the ability to turn anyone she chose to look at directly with the glass eyes into a burning inferno, a fitting ability for her name. However, Lust couldn't control her abilities and started to burn everyone she looked at with her eyes. So Leviathan gave Lust a black with red trim blindfold for her to use, as well as a matching collar.


Becoming a spy

Lust completed missions for Leviathan, the only one who could really control her anymore asides from Lucifer and Azazel. Utilizing her shapeshifting ability to become beautiful towards humans, Lust's typical mission was to seduce human men and gather information from them on the Chosen Angels. However, she fell for a Chosen Angel's trap and as he drew his sword on Lust, she saw an opportunity to get back into heaven. She surrendered and demanded to be taken to the person in charge of the Chosen Angels. Lust explained her side of the story and tried to deal to at least become a human after this war was over with, if not get back into heaven with her sight restored.

Lust now works for the Chosen as a spy, feeding them information whenever possible.

Personality:Summer is sweet kind and caring she has a bubbly outlook on life although that has dramatically changed since she was returned to earth to fight in the war. Now she can be quiet, reserved and serious but generally shes the same. She is intelligent, fun to be around and loyal, she is a total tomboy despite her appearance and not afraid to get her hands dirty. She always speaks her mind and never holds back which can often result in putting her foot in her mouth, but gets out of it pretty easily as shes very persuasive.

History: Summer had a happy and uneventful life until age 14 when her parents were murdered by a Fallen angel under Lucifer's control, escaping she grow up focusing her efforts to find her parents murder. At age 19 she was crossing a river when she slipped and hit her head, knocked unconscious murky water filled her lungs and she drowned. When she entered heaven her soul was searched and it was decided she would become an angel due to her kind heart, sharp mind, and her hatred for The Fallen. Through the years her work on earth allowed her to rise through the ranks and become Gods First lieutenant when the war erupted she was chosen to lead the army of angels on earth.

Other: Summer is Spanish and speaks it fluently.

Seductress of the Fallen

Unable to see, she wandered the earth singing laments of heaven lost. However, if she felt another intelligent being's presence, she would instantly shapeshift into a small animal and seem to disappear. It was in this way that she came to be known as a ghost of a rape victim. However, the Fallen knew better and sought her out. It took a long time, but they found her and managed to recruit her. They taught Orexis to use her other senses to "see" and she developed a high reaction speed to her other senses.

However, she still lamented for heaven in her heart of hearts. She no longer desired after Lucifer, but one of Lucifer's lieutenants, Leviathan, who desired her, renamed her Orexis Fervidus (Passionate Desire) because she could turn the heads of men and male Fallen with her sheer beauty, though his minions called her Lust, which stuck. He undid the sewing of her eyelids and, once the thread holes healed, inserted glass eyes that connected with her magic into her eye sockets. Though she still couldn't see out of them for the cauterization, Lust now had the ability to turn anyone she chose to look at directly with the glass eyes into a burning inferno, a fitting ability for her name. However, Lust couldn't control her abilities and started to burn everyone she looked at with her eyes. So Leviathan gave Lust a black with red trim blindfold for her to use, as well as a matching collar.

Becoming a spy

Lust completed missions for Leviathan, the only one who could really control her anymore asides from Lucifer and Azazel. Utilizing her shapeshifting ability to become beautiful towards humans, Lust's typical mission was to seduce human men and gather information from them on the Chosen Angels. However, she fell for a Chosen Angel's trap and as he drew his sword on Lust, she saw an opportunity to get back into heaven. She surrendered and demanded to be taken to the person in charge of the Chosen Angels. Lust explained her side of the story and tried to deal to at least become a human after this war was over with, if not get back into heaven with her sight restored.

Lust now works for the Chosen as a spy, feeding them information whenever possible.

Ability

Lust's only attack ability is to turn anything her glass eyes look at into flames. These flames are fueled by the natural Fallen powers within her, so they are inextinguishable unless holy water is poured onto the victim. However, she herself can't control them, so she wears the blindfold Leviathan gave her, the only thing that can keep the flames from coming out.

Her other ability is to shapeshift. However, she still retains her blindness when shifted, so she tends to avoid confrontation at all. Her most common use of shifting is to change her looks to appeal to human men, so as to gain information in a easier way.

Cause it takes time that we don't have to put one up right away. I, for one, had to debate against two people who seem to believe in the FSM while I had to prove Christianity. Needless to say, I'm in the process of staking the two through their hearts with crosses and I got a lot of marinara on my shirt. I smell like tomatoes now. Time to shower and sleep. ;D

Serious about the debate though. It really is with two FSM followers (debate is via posting, so it'll go on for a long time).

Hmmmm. The concept of the Seer fascinates me, but yeah, I'd like to know a little more about them. Ways they defend themselves and such. They sound almost like they're Magi.

Age: Late twenties/early thirties, though rumored to be over 2,000.

Gender: Female

Status: Seer; One of the most accomplished of her kind

Personality: Good-humored, matronly, nurturing, wise. Saelius is very protective of her art's secrets.

History: Not much is known about Saelius' beginnings (though there are rumors of her being one of the daughters of Methuselah, these are unfounded) and Saelius is not saying much. It doesn't matter, anyway. All that is known is that she has been around for a very long time, first as a witch maiden, fighting for both the sides of good and evil, until she finally decided to remain neutral. The last few hundred years or so, her guidance is sought by angels, humans and seers alike.

Abilities: Saelius is a master of her craft; she has the ability to control water and influence the thoughts and feelings of men (though angels and humans with strong wills can resist this) sometimes it is difficult to tell if her persuasiveness is from her powers or simply good negotiation.

Saelius has learned to read navigate the tides of time, and it is her ability to see into the future that many have sought her aid in many matters. However, though she can see into the future at will, she does this very rarely, as it can upset the balance of nature. She warns those whose future she reads that any visions she glimpses are only one of many possibilities.

Celestial Spear:

Left from her days as a witch-warrior, this spear can harm both human and angel alike. Its origins are unknown, only that a great king gifted her with it, after her decimation of his enemies in battle. It has been many years since its last use.

The Teddy

Bear's features are not set in stone, as after every shift they change; one day she may be a short-haired blonde girl with a petulent face, the next she may be an aggressive looking redhead complete with freckles. One thing that remains consistent, however, is the colour of her clothes, which are always red.

Her voice is whispery and quiet most of the time, but there's a savage, growling quality to it, as though she's holding something back. Bear's fully capable of roaring like a full-grown bear, however.

Personality: Bear acts the way she looks; like a small child. She's petulent, abrasive, and funnily enough rather childish. She's also pretty obsessed with that teddy of hers; either she's holding it or it sits in her backpack, and she'll become extremely upset and angry if someone attempts to take said teddy from her.

If they continue trying, things... go downhill from there.

This isn't to say that Bear's stupid, however. She possesses a considerable amount of predatory cunning, and knows how to use both her forms to lure and destroy both humans and angels alike.

History: The Pit's a hell of a place, so the joke goes. An ever-shifting plane where the souls of the damned are forever tormented for their sins, at the heart of which rules Lucifer. The creatures that step from such a place are as twisted and confused as the land they came from, and every bit as dangerous.

The Grizly Bear is such a creature. Her mind is fractured and broken from her time in the Pit, but she has flashes of a life she might once have led, or they could just be delusions of a shattered mind. She remembers a childhood in a small town, the smell of her mother's hair, and of course Teddy.

Now all she has left is Teddy, the item from which she has been given her name. As one of the hunters of Lucifer's first-lieutenant, she has been taken from the Pit to serve her master's will on Earth.

Other: Going Grizly - Bear may look small and sweet, but she IS a monster of the Pit. Her skill as an assassin lies in the fact that her form changes. Given a few moments to prepare, her body and Teddy begin to combine. The twisted bear's face is sewen onto her own by invisible needles, the claws are driven into her finger-tips and become as sharp as steel. In short, she becomes a hideous, bleeding fusion of man and bear, truly The Grizly Bear from which she gets her name.

And then people tend to die.
