"Hey kid, let's get going yeah?" He looked at Corrie and
then to the guy. "Wasting time here!" He looked serious as the sounds of Manglers grew louder as they were getting more agitated.

After not hearing from any other person but himself for a long time, Jason was surprised to hear another human. "H-Hello?" He called out from behind the bed, letting his guard down. "Is anyone here?" He asked, sounding worried.

Spirit frantically glanced around, the sounds of Manglers and yet another person filling him from head to toe with fear. He looked to the girl and then to the guy, beginning to whimper, "We c-can't leave her, can we?"

He looked as if he would, but she came to help him, so if the guy said they could wait for her, he'd also do that.

"Yeah, let's go." Corrie said quickly, pulling the gun out from her waistband and clutching it tightly in her cold hands. "Can you run?" She asked the boy quickly, her normally cold blue eyes looking almost concerned.

Spirit nodded at the girl and wrapped his arms around his body, taking a step forward. His eyes then found themselves staring toward the hotel, where a loud grunting could be heard nearing the entrance; the Manglers were getting near. His teeth chattered and he began to subconsciously step toward the girl. He felt that she would help him... Would she?

Corrie nodding quickly. "Good." She replied, drawing in a deep breath of air. "Then run." Without further instruction, the small girl took off in the direction they came from, keeping the gun clutched tightly in her hand. She stayed as much to the shadows as she could, running on her toes as not to make much noise, towards her secure little house.

The girl had been watching them for a few minutes now, her back against the wall. She could see that they were trying to leave now. No, they couldn't leave her. They had just gotten here. They weren't allowed to leave. It was against the rules of the tea party. She couldn't stop thinking about it. They would be so excited, and they would love her and it would be just like she had a real family again. She held the box that carried her most cherished tea set in tightly against her chest as she quietly followed behind them. She couldn't help smiling a little bit.

Following right behind her, Spirit took off in a sprint, still grasping at his own sides. The wind threw his hair from his face and violently shook it as he ran. He whimpered ever so silently, his eyes watering up as he periodically glanced back to see if the guy was with them, or if the Manglers had caught up.

His running wasn't as "safe" as the girl's. His bare feet tapped loudly on the concrete, and he didn't necessarily follow her steps within the shadows. He was in the open, in the light. He was in danger.

"Oh boy...Why did I let you drag me into this..." He stayed close to them, even though he wanted to just leave. "Kid, do you really think its a good idea taking this guy in?" He put his finger on the trigger and took it off repeatedly. He was getting nervous, because by now the Manglers were out. "He doesn't look right in the head, and he doesn't look like he has any skill in combat. You should just leave him."

Alex jumped a lottle bit, not expecting a reply. He turnd his head quickly, falling off the edge of the bed in the prosess. He stood back up wirh a quiet groan, looking at the owner of thw coice. "Oh.. Ih.. Hi.."L

"H-How did you get here? Where did you come from?" Jason asked cautiously, as he started to put the pipe away. He didn't trust this person too much, but he trusted him enough to know he won't hurt him.

Corrie would typically scowl at being called a kid, but by now was running out of breath a bit and decided it wasn't worth it. "You're probably right," she let out a short laugh, shaking her head. "I'm not going to guilt you into staying. I just can't leave him in good conscience, not when he's like this." She glanced back at the boy, running with his feet smacking the pavement, out in the open. Something told her he hadn't had to face the real world in a while- who knew how long he had been in that old hotel? "He'll die on his own out here."

Spirit stayed quiet and continued running, wanting to ask when they could stop. His feet were starting to hurt and he was cold. However, he glanced around the small part of the city he could see in some sort of terrified awe; he hadn't been down on the streets in God knows how long. There were these mixtures of emotions that rushed through him and they made him feel like he would explode.

The conversation between the boy and the girl left him wondering if they would help or not, and he feared that he would be on his own yet again.

"God damn, you're so stubborn." He picked Corrie up and threw her onto his shoulder, and
did the same with the guy, opposite shoulder. "And slow too." He turned into a broken down old house and upstairs, setting them down he whispered "Alright...This is the part where you really need to shut your mouths." He aimed down the stairs in case one followed us.

Corrie scowled, crossing her arms across her chest indignantly. If there was one thing she hated more than anything else, it was being taken care of- which was exactly what she felt was happening, and it annoyed her to no end. After a few moments of half-sulking, she sighed quietly and straightened out her hands, aiming her gun down the stairs as well. "We should have gone back to my place," She murmured, much in the fashion of a moody teenager.

"Stop whining." He strained his ears, and slowly crept down stairs. He made sure not to make any noise, as he descended. "Hey...C'mon. And be quiet." He looked around corners and eyed the front door, hoping one didn't enter.

Spirit somehow found himself a corner to shuffle into, and when he got there, he curled into a ball and silently rocked, his whimpers muffled by his knees. His eyes quickly glanced around the room, repeatedly finding themselves falling on the girl. She was nicer than the guy... But the guy helped them get away... Then, his glance fell on the guy. Was he really going to be able to stop the Manglers?

He watched as the other male put the pipe away, relaxing a little bit. "Uh... I walked here, and .. I came from.. Over there somewhere" He replied quietly, gesturing with his hand in some random direction. "You tired..?", He asked quietly, raising an eyebrow slightly as he looked at the other male.

"I uhh... Woke some time ago." He replied, looking at the broken lamp. "Why did you come to this building?" He asked.

He watched the other carefully as he spotted him eyeing the broken lamp. "Needed to rest... this place looked safe.." He murmured, fingering his knife as he lied back on the bed a little, completely exhausted.
