The Abyss Program.

Dex strapped a medium sized sword to his hip and held his gun tightly getting ready to fight if he needed to. He sighed quietly, Please let this be over quickly, he thought to himself trying to appear braver than he really was.

Leia awaited a call, one that was oh so familiar to her ears. Battle! rung in her head like a church bell. Those were the last words she heard her father call, as he was a general. She awaited the Major's call anxiously, finger on the trigger.

"Put your brain to it! Block out all other sounds in your mind!" A voice rang out distantly in Izak's head. He did just that, with less effort this time than last. He could think clearly, finally, and he could focus on finding the "hole in the armor" of the [BCOLOR=#0b0b0b]Ammutseba. 'Most anything had one weak spot, right? If I could just think of where that would be, maybe I could tell someone, like Leia, to guarantee the defeat of the giant [/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=#0b0b0b]Ammutseba.' He[/BCOLOR][BCOLOR=#0b0b0b] thought.[/BCOLOR]

The Major looked down over the trenches, first he said. "Hold your weapons... do not fire yet... when I tell you to fire... recruits... don't get the big one angry, he can cover the ground from here to the trenches in four seconds, and that sword can slice a tank." [BCOLOR=#000000]The Ammutseba started to roar again, they jumped, stomped, and raised their weapons in the air. The massive one stayed silent, he held his sword forward, and merely tapped it on the ground. The Ammutseba. The Enemy all pointed their weapons at the trench.[/BCOLOR] Major Reilly yelled. "Shoot them now!" [BCOLOR=#000000]Fire had been exchanged, the Human soldiers fired a halo of lead, and the Ammutseba let loose a storm of plasma. The large one walked forward slowly, his sword dragging across the stone, turning the ground it touched into a molten line.[/BCOLOR]

Dex raised his gun and began to shoot, he focused his fire at one Ammutseba at a time, taking that one out, or just crippling it enough so that it was no longer a treat, but as the large one drew closer, his shoots became more scattered and just aimed at the group causing him to miss a lot more. All he had to do was shoot, and not to anger the one approaching. God, some ting is going to go wrong I just know it. NO! Focus, the last thing I need is panic, just stay focused.

Leia started firing her rifle at the big one, not even giving a damn that she missed and hit a different one. The big one's eyes locked on her's. She rushed rapid shots from a pistol she concealed in her jean's pocket. She missed each time, except the last, which he blocked with his sword. "Damn it!" she yelled, looking for more bullets. There were none. Switching to a position towards the back of the pack and to a dagger, she threw it at the Ammutseba in the back. She easily killed them, and then shot the ones that chased her with her rifle. She was carefully making her way to the front.

Now shooting at a steady pace, Izak almost missed it happen. The girl had figured out the weak spot and killed the Ammutseba before he did! But where did she hit?
He was thinking about this, not paying attention to his shots, nor on the advancing Ammutseba. Suddenly, he felt his weapon being throw away from him, then he went flying into the wall behind him. He didn't realize how close to the front he was for such a long time. An Ammutseba towered over him. It had shot and missed, which was completely his Swedish dumb luck
He started shooting all over to find this Ammutseba's soft spot. He avoided the plasma blasts and eventually found the spot, on the upper back. Near the neck.
'They probably have weak points in different spots.' Is an thought, running back a few trenches. He needed to make sure nothing was broken, in case the adrenaline was covering the pain.

Leia noticed the many soldiers being thrown around and trapped. She threw her dagger randomly and hit a younger male's attacker. She removed the dagger, and told the guy to be careful, repeating her steps. (the young male was not Izak, but he could be close to Izak)

The sudden stop of his gun brought back to focus, he tried firing again but it was no use, he was out of ammo. "Shit!" he muttered looking around him, there no one else near him. He began to search for a new weapon, his search was cut short by several plasma shots near him. He then ran to a safer area grabbing a gun off of a body the ground and returned to the offence trying his hardest to ignore the violent sounds of battle as he was shooting.

The Major looked on, he saw that the recruits had charged The Enemy. The large Ammut had fallen, a knife was embedded in his back, around where his waist was. This would kill any normal Ammut, as vital organs were stored there... but this one was kept alive by his suit. He would get up, and then he would charge the trench. Major Reilly gave his gun to a nearby marine, and headed to to
tha armory, he told a nearby engineer, get me my suit.

(Sorry, the Paladin is meant to be a major enemy, however, the knife has disabled him for a while.)

The Paladin was on the ground, unable to move. He thought to himself. "Curious... how can a Human-made dagger peirce my armor? It appears to have burnt it's way through... could the Humans have copied our weaponry? What are they hiding here?" Ammutseba were dashing around their incapacitated leader, the machine guns could hold them off no longer. As ranged fighters, Humans had the advantage, but it was not the same in hand-to-hand. Bayonets clashed. Somewhere, a Marine was franticly stabbing an Enemy in it's upper neck. In another place, an Ammut had impaled a Soldier with a bayonet while firing rounds into him. The red blood of Humans and the black blood of Ammutseba were turning the trench into a riverbed.

Leia gagged at the blood pools forming around her. They were mainly black, which made her happy. She had done part of her part. She came, every now and then sneaking up, killing 2-4 Ammutseba at a time. Slowly, her boots were covered with the alien blood. Every now and then, she'd toss guns to those without ammo. Basically, she was killing the enemy, and replenishing the good side. Like star wars! I'm, uh, Darth Vader, no... He's too bad... How about Boba Fett? she thought to herself, trying to find a match up.

Dex cringed at the sights and sounds of battles, to him it didn't matter what he was killing, this was too much. He could no longer focus, his mind trying to keep himself in a calm state. It would be nearly impossible for him to kill as easily as the other soldiers, or even see had they could. He caught a gun being tossed at him by one of his comrades and began to shoot again, replacing his old gun containing few bullets with the other that gave him a better chance of survival.

Through her wave of thoughts, a bullet dodged her face, hitting her ear. "What the fuck?!" she screamed, turning around to find an Ammutseba quickly approaching. The hole in her ear started to hurt more and more. Her hearing in that ear was getting impared, and she didn't know if it was permanent or temporary. She hoped it was the second assumption. She threw the knife at it's head, killing it easily. She tuck the knife out and cut out it's ears, just for fun. She loved showing the enemy who's boss.
