From the window of the train, Amanda sighed deeply. Her life was over, she knew it. With her being from a district that would rather invent their way out of a situation rather than fight, she knew the chances of her survival were slim. The fact that she was also a little underweight and not at all strong was not going to help her. The hopelessness of the situation all came crashing down onto her and she sighed once more, knowing that, sooner or later in the next month, she would be covered in her own blood, dead or dying, laying around as whoever or whatever killed her mocked her. ~ Niger saw her do this and he wanted to go comfort her, but he knew that, if he did, she could become reliant on his touch. That was something that he could not afford at this point. He hated the games and wondered how they still went on for so long onw. But he couldn't chnage it, and he had to simply give it up. So he instead watched her sadly.
