Max joined the experiment because her friends thought it would be a good idea, she thought it was a joke. Even with thinking it was a joke, Max went ahead and went down to the office, filled out the paperwork and for some reason hoped. If anyone is in a find her the perfect guy it would be them. Even then she didn't hold much stock, after all Max thought she was a un-lovable. So as she waited, and she did wait, even with her busy schedule. She was shocked when a knock rapped on her door and she opened it to reveal Claire. The two women sat down together and Claire exclaimed in glee that they had found Max a match. At first Maxwell thought it was a joke. Still, her stomach clenched with nerves and she actually felt excited. Maybe they did find her a match. After a short conversation about what she should do to prepare Claire left, and her new world started.
Even though family was very important for Max, it wasn't her "blood" family, but rather family she made herself. She left her mom's a young age, just know her father, so the only family she really had was her coworkers and neighbors. Max to the date herself, after all, she just found out she was getting married in a week. However, once her nerves settle down she went to the café. She knew the café well, she worked here since she moved to California when she arrived, at 18. Her boss, a Russian woman, with a large chest, wide hips, and always wore a tight dress that went to her knees. The cook, an older black man, who had more than a few things to say about everything, and the cashier. An over-sexual New Yorker, who would whistle and flirt with anything that had legs. The waitress that took her place, was dumb as rocks. Max and didn't do a great job, this girl brought it to a whole new level. She always forgot tables, or even worse, her receipts and her tips.
Still, this is the family that she knew. The family that she loved, the family that took care of her when she was sick, and the family that made her shop really happened. When she told them, they were happy. Her former boss, Natalia, who was more her sister than boss, did a whiny cry. The cook, Big Bob, who was more her father than anything else, smiled and threatened to kick ass if he hurt her. The cashier, Curt, who was a friend, maybe that weird brother that stared at her oddly. Offered to help B.B. kick ass. She felt loved, and knew she would have their support while she got ready, for the biggest day of her life. They spent that day looking at shops. Shop, after shop, until she found it. One thing you need to know about Max, if she can show off a "lil some-some" she will gladly. So, after the third shop, they found it. The dress, that Natalia gave a glee-filled squeal. The
dress was a sheer, almost see through, top, and silk bottom, with a slit so high, it showed her whole milky leg and thigh. Once that was done, they quickly went to the jewelry store and picked a basic gold 1/4 inch thick wedding band. She, obviously knowing nothing about him, just bought a basic one, hoping for the best.
Finally, she was done. She didn't have many people in her life, and now she would just have to wait out the week. Natalia loved weddings, and while Max just went to work in her shop, Natalia picked herself as a briadsmaid, and invited Max's two emploee's as well as the whole dinner. After all, the show was pretty much paying for everything. As the days ticked by, Max became more and more nervous. The actual day came, and she felt like she could, and would, have a heart attack. She asking B.B. to give her away, and he of course, said yes.
Natalia, being herself, arranged everything. So, as Max walked into the getting ready area of the church, she was to be married. Natalia, had a hair and makeup artists more than ready to go. She could almost feel her heart beating too fast as she is getting ready for her wedding. As time ticked down, her hearted pounded, and with only ten minutes left, they left the ready room. Her husband, which she still thought was a hilarious thought, was on the other side of the double doors. Natalia went first, smiling brightly as her eyes laid on Max's husband. Max looked to B.B.
"If this dude's ugly, just say wrong wedding and walk me out."
B.B. gave a laugh and shook his head.
"You signed up for this, you will marry whatever ugly s.o.b is on the other side of these doors."
Max sighed and wiggled a little, shit, why the hell did she do this? She could have lived her life as a cat lady, what was so wrong with that anyway? Still, the clocked ticked down, and with exactly two minutes to spare, the doors opened and the wedding march started. She knew she looked good, her D breasts were pushed together, not that it mattered as you could practically see everything anyway. The dress slit showed off her leg, and the dress itself formed to every curve and the slightly tan look of the dress made her creamy white skin seem almost drinkable. Her eyes looked up, and her breath caught. Shit, that guy right there, that guy is my husband. She almost could laugh at the thought. Still, B.B. moved forward until they were only steps from each other. He gave her a kiss on the cheek, took her flowers, and gave her hand to her new husband. Max could only stare, fuck, what the fuck did I get myself into?!
