You have been chosen to take part in a special experiment. The American government has chosen a select few teenagers to form the classes of a Teen Spy Academy. The students at TSA will take part in vigorous training, learning how to use a wide range of weaponry, how to speak multiple languages and will be put under the pump with mind-grinding math and science lessons. The spies-in-training will engage in hand-to-hand combat, will learn the inner workings of the law and government and ultimately learn how to protect and serve their country in a way very few can.

NOTES (MUST READ)

- This academy will be in America, but your character can be from any country.
- This will be a day-to-day roleplay depicting the lives of the characters we create.
- The writing standard for this roleplay is intermediate.

RULES (MUST READ)

1. Please only use real people for images.
2. Respect one another OOC.
3. Please follow the character sheets I create.
4. Write 'Hannibal' at the end of your skeleton, to confirm you read the rules.
5. When posting in the IC, PLEASE NO NOVELS (except the first post, a lengthy introduction is fine) but no one-liners either. IC posts should be 2-5 paragraphs each.
6. Romance is encourage, but it should not be the focal point for all relationships.
7. You cannot be your own character's boyfriend/girlfriend. I don't know why, but that annoys me a lot.
8. I reserve the right to refuse any character I believe is not up to my standard, or to ask you to change anything about your skeleton.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

- Though the school is a boarding school, no one will have roommates.
- Along with special spy classes, your character will also participate in regular classes, like math and English. The only difference is that these classes will be much harder.

Derek was born to a family of accountants. Literally. His mom, father and two older brothers were all accountants. It was assumed that he would be an accountant too, but at a young age it was made apparent that he was not going to grow up to be boring. Derek liked sports and trying new things, he didn't like to constantly stay on the safe side like the rest of his family. He didn't mind hitches in his daily schedule or adapting to sudden changes, and that freaked his parents out. His parents had successfully raised two boys who were just like them, but Derek was different. They didn't know how to raise a kid that thought everything they did was so...Ordinary and lame. So they signed him up for Xtreme Sports Summer Camp. At the summer camp, Derek learned how to play various types of sports and in some of them, became great at them. But after mastering the fun ones, he grew bored again and his parents signed him up for a wide variety of martial arts classes. That held him over for awhile, and when Derek mastered both of those, he got an invitation to TSA, his parents didn't stop him from accepting the invitation.

Laila grew up in a broken home full of scandals. Her parents, Aleksander and Elisa were considering a divorce before she was born because they realized that the love they had once shared was practically nonexistent. However when Laila was born, the two didn't want her to be tossed between the two of them for her entire young life, so they stayed together but other than pretending to be happy when they were in front of Laila, the two spent no time together. More drama was added to the mix when Elisa's crude and wild sister, Kaia came to live with them after getting kicked out of college for ruining the school's good name. The entrance of Kaia really rocked the boat, so to speak, as Kaia had no sense of personal boundaries and did not censor herself when she was around Laila, she also had a tendency of staying out late at night and bringing guys home. This caused an even bigger rift between Aleksander and Elisa because he wanted her gone, while Elisa wasn't willing to abandon her sister. Because they were always occupied with the Kaia problem, Laila didn't see much of her parents and spent a lot of time alone.
When she turned nine, her uncle Mads, a former army sniper and Aleksander's younger brother came to live with them and seeing how she was being overlooked by her parents, Mads started spending time with Laila. Mads taught Laila the art of observation and got her interested in photography. He took her rock climbing and taught her how to blend in with her surroundings to achieve maximum stealth. Mads stayed with the Dales for four years until he got married and moved away, but Laila never forgot what he taught her.
She used her photography skills to 'fix' her home life, by way of blackmailing Kaia into leaving. Because they had lived together for so long, Laila knew Kaia's schedule and followed her for a few days, until she witnessed Kaia buying drugs. Laila captured the moment with her camera of course, and that night she told Kaia that if she didn't leave, she would forward the picture to the cops. And that very night, Kaia left, informing her sister that she was going to 'find' herself.
After that Laila began using the skills that she learned from Mads, to create a perfect home for herself.
When she got an invitation to TSA, Laila jumped at the chance to become just like Mads.

Fierce and independent, Taylor has never needed anyone else. As the middle child of thirteen, Taylor was always used to having to make her own food, manage her own appointments and buy her own clothes, as her parents were always busy with either the older children or the younger children. Taylor is very responsible, never allowing herself to have fun or engage in an entertaining activity until all of her schoolwork is finished. Taylor isn't as intelligent as some of the other students at the Academy, but she uses her determination and responsibility to achieve the best grades she can. Taylor isn't fond of large crowds, but she enjoys spending time with her friends. She will often drag her friends on outdoor excursions with her.

- Knives: Taylor specialises in all kinds of knives. She can hit the centre of a target with a throwing knife from any distance, gut a human being like a fish with a dagger and pick any lock with a pocket knife. Taylor is the exact middle child of thirteen siblings. Somehow, despite her many brothers and sisters, Taylor is the only one who is interested in sports and outdoors. She would call all of her siblings "artsy, imagination-ruled nerds". However, Taylor never minded the solitude. When her parents took her siblings to art shows, music concerts and dance recitals, Taylor would slip from the family bus and hike in the woods, using her knives to illegally bring down beavers and squirrels for sport.

When Taylor was thirteen, her uncle Tyson would frequently teach Taylor more ways to handle her knives. Taylor, who had always been excellent with hitting targets -- or animals -- with her daggers, was now learning how to kill a human with her knives. Tyson took great interest in his niece, seeing immense potential in her natural-born talent. He dedicated his time to honing it.

By the time Taylor was fifteen, she could kill a fully-grown man with a dagger and bring down a deer with a throwing knife. It was at this age that Tyson giften her his favourite pocket knife.

A few weeks later, Tyson died in a car accident. The whole family grieved, but Taylor grieved the hardest. She had lost the only person in her life at the time who understood her. Her only friend. This made her even more independent; the only person she had ever been close to left her.

When Taylor received an acceptance letter to the Academy, she immediately began packing. Taylor was determined to escape her home of tacky paintings and pink tutus, to live in a place where she could truly be in her element. She returns home every holidays, of course, though she never enjoys being there as much as she loves the Academy.

Phoenix is the only child of Francis and Andrea Kallahan. Growing up with no siblings, Phoenix was always kind to everyone at school, trying almost too hard to make friends. However, everyone seemed drawn to Phoenix's kind personality; he never got any trouble with people at school, and never had any problems making new friends.

Phoenix became interested in computers at age ten, when Francis, his father, took him to his workplace. Francis, a photocopier technician, began to teach Phoenix his trade outside of school. Phoenix began transferring the skills he learned from his father to the old, run-down computer in his family's basement. Phoenix mended the computer all by himself at age twelve. His father proclaimed he had a natural talent.

Phoenix soon learned to hack. He was always quite good at it, sometimes earning extra money on the side for his services.

Sehun is that guy you might bully in high school 'cause he's all brains an no brawn. In general, he's friendly to everyone, often immediately assuming everyone is his friend. Sehun grew up in an average Korean family. His parents loved one another and he got along with his siblings. However entering middle school, Sehun was shocked to see that wasn't the case for most of the families in South Korea. He could only help his friends a little and began to get depressed when even the slightest kind thing he did made no difference. Entering high school, Sehun's curiosity grew, leading him to begin studying Psychology. Looking for a way to help people in a massive way, Sehun joined TSA in hopes he would truly make people happier.

Ash acts like the stereotypical solitary and detached cool guy, supposedly only caring about violence and all that malarkey. He seems confident, if quiet, and tries to even come across as aggressive, although he doesn't tend to manage it well. That's because Ash isn't really like that at all.
