"The warm hearted character... really?" asked Thomas, raising an eyebrow and looking at her. "I assume that the novels you read have some sort of romance element to it."

Did she notice that she kept looking at her?

"You seem like a really nice young woman that is just the cute nerdy type." Did I really just say that??

He hoped that she didn't see that he was starting to blush as well.
 
Lisa looked up in surprise. She did not expect that. And.. is he blushing as well? She couldn't help but smile. "I guess I would fit that type, in a sense. Although I may not be as smart as one of those." What was this feeling coming over her? She might be enjoying this too much. He was actually talking to her. Just like a normal person. And it... felt great.
 
Oh, she noticed he was blushing with her. "I'd figured you fit that type in a way..."

He cleared his throat. "I'll write a slip so you don't get marked tardy." He went to his desk and wrote a small note and handed it to her.
