Alfonso shrugged. "As Fay said, we are free to leave whenever it is convenient for you. I would think, however, that perhaps some respite for a short while might be fitting after a night of journey? However you wish. Please, do help yourself. There is plenty for all."

He scooped some oatmeal into a bowl and added some fruit before stirring and taking a sip.

Nyx nodded before she did just as Aflonso said and helped herself, nearly inhaling the food as she placed it on her plate. She was two marks off from eating like, well, a dog. Again, she heaped her plate up with seconds, and again, it disappeared in a short span of time. She paused.

"If I may assume, we shan't be running right?" She paused before finishing her thought. "After breakfast is fine with me." She inhaled another plate full of food. The food was good, but she was beginning to miss meat again.

"Nay, there be little need of that as of yet," smiled Alfonso, chewing thoughtfully on a soft honeyed slice of bread. "Grandmother did not, after all, specify a time limit. It would behoove us, however, to finish it in a reasonable time. Are either of you familiar with the Piper's Mountain?"

Fay slowly chewed her oatmeal one spoonful at a time. She was in fairly good shape, but was still glad they wouldn't have to run at least all of the way. Thinking about Alfonso's question she had to shake her head. "Only rumours, that most likely have no basis in reality."

Nyx tilted her head at the other two at the table. In her experience, it was best not to keep elders waiting. She'd heard of the mountain, just enough to know how to avoid it. She didn't seek out trouble, unless she was accompanied by a friend, and even then, she wasn't all that thrilled about those situations.

"It's roughly at the border of the deep woods, isn't it?" She asked, head tilting some.

"Roughly, yes," nodded Alfonso to Nyx, "nestled among the Silent Peaks bordering the town of Hamlin. A family of druids once lived in a hut not far from the Whitestone Gate there; they may have information on how to open the door that is shut and find the Piper."

"The druids likely won't help us for free. Especially if they were friends of the people of Hamlin as some some the rumours say." Fay frowned a little. "And there are rumours of the gate too, that it's dangerous to be close to it."
