Surviving the dead

Everyone was just standing there in silence even though making our way to the buses had been suggested. Ren broke the silence and pointed at Lala. She was quite shocked and because of that immediately turned her head towards him. The things Ren was saying most definitely hit her, and made her think. 'Is he really suggesting I should lead them again... For now..?'. Lala opened her mouth, but before any sound could come out Chiyumi said something and started walking away from the group. 'Oh.. Well, let's follow Chiyumi then!' Lala said this with a smile on her face. With fast paces she tried to catch up with Chiyumi 'Hey, wait up! We're coming too!' she shouted. Lala seemed to be a bit happier than she was before.

Kai was just so amazed at this whole event, it took her a while for her to get her legs into gear and moving again. Hoping no one saw her pinch the pocket knife, she took it deep into her trouser pocket. She wanted some form of self defence... because using her judo only bought back bad memories.

Kai shyly steps at the back of the group, following them silently through the corridors. She hoped to see the buses there and waiting for them... but the chances of that seemed slim at the least. The door outside was in sight now, although Kai couldn't quite see outside to check if the buses were still there.

In the air, something was just off. Not the possessed corpses or anything, but just by the smell and the horrifying tension that seemed to fill your muscles afterwards... You could tell something was wrong.

Kai just wanted to get home, or be safe. She didn't want to die - no one wanted to die... she wished she had her parents, her real parents here. Just to say something like 'You're going to be alright, dear.' Would be priceless to her at the moment. She pulls up her hood further to hide her trembling lip and the silent trickle of a tear down her cheek.
