The Lost City
This is an interest check on a unique Survival Horror RP that focuses on a modern based apocalypse. Not based on Walking Dead or Last of Us, just a modern, realized version of a completely unique setting. Atlantis, the lost city. Everyone has all sorts of mythology on it, but I think a survival type would be different to spark interests. Like a "utopian apocalypse" if you will.
The plot: It'll start with a plane ride that goes wrong, and it'll crash right off the Gold Coast and submerge in water, only to mysteriously resurface with a huge island in front of them. When they get there, things get real. I got the opening part pretty much down, and from there it's up to the players to stay alive and adapt. It will feature all kinds of people from different time periods, and creatures that lurk as well. The central plot will simply be to survive, as finding a way out seems impossible. It will change the characters, it may scar them. It could keep them the same or awaken something in them, but one thing that will be certain in the RP is death, so it's up to the Rp'er to ensure its NPCs rather than others...or themselves.
