Yuruto sighed and crossed his arms, this is going to be a long day and the worse is that he can't do anything about it but he have to think positive and by positive is; playing dice for about one and a half hour. Complaining by his lost or be a bad winner telling how good he is, then complain about his problems with girls in about 10 minutes before getting tired by it and takes a drink for some hour until then complaining some more and then go to bed because he is grumpy.

He sighed once again while looking up at the tree made roof and just letting himself wave back and forth calmly by the seas waves. He was tired actually but couldn't sleep, the time was surely not even that late yet but he wanted to get to the island quickly. He wanted his adventure, he wanted to have a lot of times to go on an adventure, then when he and Barret gets ugly together. He will tell him stories from far away islands, beautiful cities both small and huge, beautiful green fields and gray high-up mountains, ice filled landscapes and much more. Yuruto knew he was too fast forward with himself and his future but that's just how he is, he have always, even when he was small, always wanted to go on an adventure. Thinking of what will happen to him in the future, will he die young? Or will he sit with his friend, with his children having their children and just sitting there, talking about his past? He smiled a little for himself of the both exiting and terrifying thought and then glanced over at Barrets bed. What is he thinking about? What does he think of the future? And what his is goal for everything? You could always wonder but Yuruto almost knew what Barret wanted, he isn't such a difficult guy some think he is and that is why Yuruto likes him. After some thinking and the seconds passing, he then fell asleep under the moons light.

The ship stopped with a dull thud as the bow hit the stone dock, crewmen jumped and tugged on ropes. They worked in a smooth rhythm as if there was a drumbeat only they could hear. A third of them were already scurrying on the dock, securing the ship so it wouldn't drift away, the rest were busy pulling up the sails and sliding out the gang-plank. Barret stood amidst the seemingly controlled chaos, awaiting his friend, who had been asleep when he came up.

It didn't take long for everything to settle down, the men now unloading whatever the ship had been carrying. The dock wasn't as busy as Barret expected, less so than the one they left from. He counted at least three noteworthy vessels and a few smaller ones. Otherwise the area seemed pretty dock-like to him, though admittedly cleaner than what he is use to. He leaned on a bannister and waved at the men he and Yuruto had played dice with as they left for a bit of shore-leave and eyed the woman named Natalie ordering a crewman with what he supposed was her luggage.

The sky was blue and and the air warm with not even a light breeze to cool the skin. He wondered, as he looked at a few faces dawdling near the gang-plank, if there was someone that would escort them to where they need to go.

Yuruto tired and with messy hair, got up from the uncomfortable "bed", even though it wasn't a real bed. He looked to the side and saw the Berret was gone and he looked outside the window, it was already day or well, morning to be correct. Yuruto sighs as he gets up from the darkness and scratches his neck, he tried to fix his messy hair as much as he could even though he couldn't see much and saw Berret and also many men starting to work. The birds made annoying noises and everything was lively as ever, which Yuruto took a liking to. He is one of the people that likes to around many and prefers not to be alone actually, or well it depends on person actually. He stood beside Berret and looked at the island.
-"I hope you slept well, because I sure didn't." He answered as he saw someone waving at them, it looked like a boy.
-"Hey, you two!" He kept calling after them as Yuruto both confused and curious went to see this boy. At closer look he was white haired, very white smooth skin and blue shining eyes like the sky. He had an very odd accent but it wasn't weird seeing how much on the east-north they were, the boy had some white cloth over his body and a golden piercing on the outside of his eyebrow. He had this look whom seemed like a bandit from the desert but the hair and skin told different. His eyebrows where so light as his hair that it also looked like he didn't have any and his eyes were big, making him look like some sort of animal.
-"I'm goin' to take care of yu', yu' can't go to the Temple yet. Let my farther help the travelers. Come with me." The boy suddenly started to go, Yuruto snorted.
-"What's with his accent? Maybe we should let him have a drink to clear his throat whom is probably filled with knots, strangling his words." Yuruto kept following the white haired boy.

The city, no... The village whom is filled with tree-made cottages was far distant from the water and the bridge and more closer to the mountain where the temple Heaven Oan is taking place. The grass was as green as ever, there where some animals there too whom took a bite on the ground, many children were playing and there were also some other blacksmith's out there, making their own weapons. What caught Yuruto's eyes were a white haired woman, whom looked a bit like Natalie but older and with that, he started to go on his own. The white haired boy kept on walking and then a man hugged him and then looked at Berret whom stood by the road. The man were strong, reminded a little bit of Berret but a more white haired version and... cleaner with the clothes.
-"Welcome to the Village Oan, it's nice to meet new people and I hope yu'll have a good time he'r" The man said and then looked around.
-"I thought there were two of yu?" He asked in the same accent as the boy, it was an accent that seemed like to take away some words, yet it seemed like normal but he talked quite faster. Very odd it was but not for the people living by this perfect weather and nature.

The village seemed peaceful to Barret as he was escorted by the pale boy. It made him calm and as far as he could tell they didn't have the same troubles with creatures feeding off livestock and attacking the people. There wasn't much in the way of barriers, like gates and fences to shield homes and the homes didn't even possess shutters that would fend off anything except the wind. As for the inhabitants of the village, most seemed to posses the same white complexion the boy did and varying degrees of white to blonde hair. Otherwise most seemed to carry on as there would in any town. Women walked with baskets filled with fruits or other sustenance whilst the men carried wood for fire or attended their shops.

It didn't take long for the familiar sound of resonating iron and steel to find its way to Barret's now perked up ears. His eyes flitted over his surroundings in search of the melodic clink when the spell was broken by another voice in the same peculiar accents as their escort. Even though his mind had wandered thanks to a nearby blacksmith, his feet stayed true and they met what appeared to be the boy's father. A man that had the same eyes as the guide but certainly not the same body. He had a considerable bulk under his clothes, entirely muscle as far as Barret could see and added facial hair of pure white.

As the man pointed out that he was alone, Barret noticed for the first time he had lost Yuruto. It had likely happened when he was occupied by his yearning to hammer and create something. His voiced creaked slightly and he had to clear his throat before he could answer the man.

"My companion was here a minute ago. Something on our way must have taken his interest," He lifted his palms to show his uncertainty, but the man laughed heartily.
"Few days at sea would mak' anyon' want som' leg stretching," He waved with a large hand towards the building behind him and voiced that this was where they would be holding up until everyone had arrived, almost as if Barret and Yuruto weren't the only expected guests. The building would be easily identified, since it was fairly larger than the rest and had sign that showed a fitfully sleeping man. "Go find yu'r comrad', w'll be he'r,".

With that the man turned and walked inside, the boy on his heels, leaving Barret slightly lost for purpose. He did the only thing he could; adjusted his bag with belongings and set out to find Yuruto and perhaps even the smithy.

-"Oh my, yu must hav been to many a'venture's then AND to be call'd in to Heaven Oan is surely fantastic! Yu must be very lucky." The white haired woman said as her blue eyes shone like the sky itself and smiled with her pink lips. Yuruto laughed a little.
-"Ooh, I'm not the only lucky one." He said as he tried to get closer to the woman whom had caught his attention. The woman laughed and looked him in the eye.
-"You know, this is really a nice place to live in, it doesn't seem to be any monsters around and all this food!" He almost gasped at the sight of the fruit whom shone with strong color and the bread with a sent so off this world that it couldn't be real. The woman kept her smile on her face.
-"Well, of course. Thou' when we first got her' it wasn't easy, ther' where a lot of monster's I tell ya but thanks to our leade' in Heaven Oan, its finnaly safe. But higher up in the mounta'n, its mor' monsters there." She told and looked a bit down but then smiled again.
-"Oh, her's my husband!" She said out loud and looked very happy, Yuruto though, didn't. He turned around to see a blacksmith with a more blonde-ish hair than white, he had a thick mustache and was about to grow out a beard and his muscles, Yuruto didn't dare to fight him but the look on the blacksmith's eyes where, calm. Also he smiled, though he was a bit dirty but the wife didn't seem to mind that as she kissed the mans dirty cheek. He hold some sort of hammer in his hand, it was very well made and looked rather expensive, it was silver colored and had some sort of blue stone in the end, probably to make better and stronger weapons. The wife told her husband about Yuruto as he smiled a bit awkward to the man.
-"Oh, so you'r the one to visit Heaven Oan, eh?" The man said with a deep voice that at the same time, was threatening but yet nice like a father's tone. It made Yuruto quite confused if to be scared of the blacksmith or not.
-"Thou' aren't there two of ya?" He asked as Yuruto laughed.
-"Ah... Seems I've lost my companion, he's also a blacksmith you see." He said and at that moment, the shone in the mans eyes changed.
-"Oh, really? I wou'd really like to meet this man of you'rs." He said with a smile as Yuruto smiled back only to see in the background that Barret was just there.
-"Ah, there he is. Why not say hello to him?" He asked as the all three of them walked to barret, the wife and husband following the young dark haired man Yuruto.

Barret's eyes caught the glitter of what he suspected was Topaz in hammer. He had never been one for using gemstones in his smithing, it was something he always thought was reserved for silversmiths. They were the ones who made jewellery and he always considered the precious stones to either be too expensive or weak for the hardy work. The people who bought from him preferred practicality to decoration.

His gaze moved to the man wielding the hammer. He was built sturdily, would probably give Barret quite the run for his money in an arm wrestling match. He almost seemed like a giant compared to Yuruto, a small bit in front of the other two.

"Already got into trouble?" he jokingly asked his friends once the gap between them had closed. He clasped hands with the white haired male in greeting.

"So yu'r a blacksmith, eh? Seem a wee bit too small in the arms, eh?" He said in a good-natured tone, the woman at his right giving a light laugh.
Barret in turned countered with, "Well if you're one the iron might break before it ever gets a chance to reach the cooling barrel."

With a moment of hand squeezing to test each other, a hearty laugh from them both filled the air. They fell into conversation, sharing techniques and telling of preferred materials. Both had seemed to have forgotten about the wife and Yuruto, though not on purpose. It wasn't everyday Barret got a chance to talk to another of his trade.

The wife was smiling happily and then looked at Yuruto.
-"Do yu wan' me to show yu around the village?" She asked before she took his arm and told to let the two men be, Yuruto understood since it has been some time Barret have met someone of his own, in their home village there were not many blacksmith's and since they're in a completalt different place, it would probably be fun to see other kinds of weapon and material. Though Yuruto wasn't too much interested in that kind of stuff, he would now enjoy to be around such a beautiful woman and probably find more, even though he like Natalie, he feels that they aren't going to be forced to be together and after the fight, it would be good with some other company. But the company he thinks of, aren't the same as the love for her. But for now, he's going to explore and that is one thing he really likes! "I'll make sure to explore some beautiful caves tonight." He thought to himself with a smile as he started the tour around the little village, it wasn't much though. One old woman sold some fruits and food together with her husband that was also really old, then a lot of other buildings until they came to the last one, a church.
-"Oh, what is this?" He asked the woman and she smiled.
-"This is wher' we pray for Oan, our god 'n' savior." She said and Yuruto got quite suprised.
-"God? Oan is a god?" He thought out load, he only thought that Oan was a name for this village and the temple.
-"Oh, Oan is the one w'o made this sacred island, he still exists but no one exept those who goe' to Heaven Oan 'n' is invited have seen him." She said and made a sigh.
-"Lucky yu." She then added and Joseph looked at the church.
-"Huh, well. Oan must be some guy then to make all this." He said and started to imagine Oan as an old fart with beard as white as the villagers and ridiculously many wrinkles and clothes over clothes and where about to laugh, then he thought the god Oan as really short and weird looking. But he didn't dare to laugh out laugh or else the villagers would probably get upset. When they where done, the woman sent him back to their house and they got inside.
-"Hony? Yu' still here with yur new friend?" She called out from the entrence and walked inside, Yuruto followed. The sun was about to go down and the sky was starting to turn orange. Maybe Yuruto and Barret should go to their Inn and make sure their stuff is coming with them and with that Yuruto remembered, his rod! Was it still in the house?! He then saw it by the wall where his stuff was resting as he made a sigh of relief. His heart was about to stop there for a moment.

The men stood and talked for quite a while before they realized they stood by themselves. The husband seemed far less concerned that Barret did, even though he didn't show it. He couldn't help but wonder what Yuruto would be doing with a female by his lonesome. His mind didn't have too much time to wonder about this though as the other blacksmith guided him into the direction of a home that had an added room it seemed with a stone chimney reaching into the sky.

Barret knew exactly what the chimney was for, since he had one at his shop as well. The chimney ended in the fire pit which bathed the room in a soft orange glow as they entered the room. The air was warm and muggy compared to the outside and it didn't take long for clangs to fill the room as well.

Barret was busy hammering away, the older man stood watching, arms folded and commenting every once in a while. The metal bar he held with the tongs, bended and folded as he shaped it into its new form. Sweat rolled over his skin and by the time they heard the female call from further in the house the object was now a simple yet elegant knife.

The two friends greeted their new acquaintances and made their way back to their temporary lodgings. Barret had a few things to mull over in the way he had always smithed and the gems he considered weaknesses seemed to be imbued with magical properties he never considered. He was quite caught up in his own thoughts, so the route from the blacksmith and his bed was only a blur.

They got to the inn where the white haired man like the rest of the other men in this village was waiting together with his son who had escorted earlier today. The man showed them the room and the boy gave them the key and looked a little curious at Yuruto and Yuruto looked back at the boy and then at the room. The walls where made off wood like the rest of the village, there where two seperate beds, a window that showed the darkness outside and a simple wooden closet and Yuruto headed for that right away as he almost threw his stuff in there but the rod whom was his little baby, he put it by his bed. Yuruto just simply laid down on the bed and didn't show any manner at all, not even said thanks to the man nor the boy whom had helped them but they didn't seem too upset about it, maybe they understood that the two men where tired after their long journey by sea to this island and tomorrow, they also have to climb the mountains to get to the sacred temple where their god Oan is.
-"Hey kid, isn't there any other pillow I can borrow, this one's so uncomfortable." Yuruto asked, fixing his pillow, the father was already gone.
-"No." The kid answered fast and Yuruto looked at him.
-"Of course you have, bring me one now! I'm a guest after all." Yuruto spoke as he saw himself all mighty before the kid as the boy was on his way. When the boy got back, Yuruto was still laying in his bed but without jacket and other accessories as he saw the boy.
-"Nah, don't need the pillow anyway, you can go away." He said as the boy looked at him with anger and turned as he mumbled "jerk" under his breath, gripping the other pillow.
-"Aah..~ So tiiired." Yuruto said as he stretched his arm and made himself ready to go to sleep and turned off the lights and checked his rod one last time before falling asleep. The room went silent when Yuruto had fallen asleep and the only light source came from the big round moon that little by little lit up the room with it's colden blue color.
