My character who is a hybrid of a werewolf and vampire lives on the streets and wanders from town to town and city to city. Not really belonging anywhere, then he enters a city where two rival clans of werewolves which are constantly at war with each other are in control of this city. They are in the higher upper middle class. The daughter of the one clan gets kidnapped by the other, and he saves her.

I'll tweak it, it's sort of like your idea but with werewolves.
