Her ears twitched as she looked in the watet. She figured she was followed by someone in her clan. She dipped her head to drink the water. She looked up when she heard a rustling, she sniffed the air and saw the cat."Leopardclaw," she said and dipped her head to him. She had come out here to think not to meet him, he just kept popping up.
 
The Tom looked at Stormpelt when she said his name. "I didn't expect to see you here. How's the shoulder?" he asked.

Mistfur peered on as she saw the Tom, she smelled herbs thus identifying him as waterfall clans medicine cat. Seeing as he posed no threat she walked out. "So is this the mousebrain who tried to fight a badger?" she teased
 
Stormpelt sighed at his question."painful." She said."but I will get over it. How are the kits?" She asked. She sat down licking her paw. Her ears twitched as Mistfur stepped out."Yes, Mistfur this Leopardclaw, Leopardclaw my best friend Mistfur." She said as she twitched her whiskers in slight annoyance at being followed. She wasn't some kit who needed to be watched.
 
"The kits are well, their mother was relieved to have them back." he informed the stormclan deputy. When Mistfur stepped out Leopardclaw eyed her cautiously, that caution turned to embarassment when she asked about his idiotic tackle of the badger. "Does the whole clan know about that?" he asked flustered.

Mistfur laughed at how flustered the medicine cat got. Sitting down next to her friend. "I should thank you for helping her out though."
 
Stormpelt dipped her head in a slight nod to say yes. She sat down and flicked her tail in annoyance. She lay down and kept the weight off her shoulder. She watched her friend and the medicine cat. She looked at them and sighed,"let's go Mistfur." She nods to Leopardclaw."see you tonight, thank you again." She said. She got up and leaped off. She turned to Mistfur "you don't have to watch me like a kit." She said
 
"Great...." he muttered after they were gone. With a heavy sigh he turned and walked back to camp. Going to the kill pile he picked up a piece and walked over to a shady area and began to eat.

"What's wrong with making sure you're safe, expessially with that badger running around." Mistfur seemed equally annoyed.
 
Stormpelt hissed and her tail whipped back and forth."I didn't ask you to follow me, and I am not dead or seriously injured." She said. She huffed,"Come one we need to get back." She said. She bounded for camp and nods to her father. She went to join him and tell him who was going to the meeting. She nods to him, Thunderstar jumped to the top of the rock."All those old enough to catch there own prey join me under the rock." He said"I will be taking Rainnose, emberheart, Mistfur, Stormpelt, lightingpaw, runningwind, and pebblepaw."he said."Those called eat and rest up." He said and jumped down.
 
Shadetail walked over to Leopardclaw and sat down next to him. "You seem stressed, what's bothering you?" his deputy asked.

Leopardclaw turned to her and sighed. "Other than all of stormclan knowing about how much of a mouse brain I am for tackling a badger? It's nothing really." he tried to assure her, though inside he knew it wasn't nothing.

Mistfur looked on as her friend bounded ahead of her. With a sigh she followed. Upon being summoned by her leader she sat with the other cats. After the meeting was over she walked over to the kill pile and picked up a smaller piece. She didn't have much of an appetite. Walking over to a secluded area she watched from afar as she ate.

Emberheart was excited at being able to go to the meeting, it would be his first one as a warrior. He picked himself a piece of kill and plopped down next to Stormpelt. "I'm so excited! I'll finally be able to sit with the other warriors." he could hardly contain himself. "Though I couldn't have had a better mentor." he purred, towards his former mentor.
 
Stormpelt ate a little, but not much. She sighed and looked at her friend. She knew her friend was just trying to protect her, but she was the deputy of the clan and didn't want to look weak, she went to get up to apologize when her old apprentice came up.

She purred at his compliment"Yes now rest for tonight." She said and nudged him for the warriors den gently and licked his ear. She went to plop next to her friend and nudged her."Thanks for looking out for me" she purred to her friend.

Pebblestar called the clan together. He told who was going and to stay in camp and rest. He jumped down and walked to the nursery to check on the kits. He wanted to make sure they were behaving and streamflower was okay. They weren't his kits,but as leader he liked to make sure all was well
 
"Okay." Emberheart walked over to the warriors den, his bushy tail straight up.

"If I didn't who else would?" she purred in response. She prodded her head into stormpelts good shoulder. "You're like the sister I never had."
 
Stormpelt purred and smacked her gently on the head with her paw. Stormpelt nudged her friend and fell asleep on her friends fur. She walked in her dreams, she was chasing after. A kit. It smelled like her. It was her kit and she mewed in her sleep."I am coming." She said in her dream. She just kept mewling in her sleep, when Mistfur prodded ger. She sat up and flicked her fur, it was puffed out. Stormpelt got comfy again and pressed ibto her friend. She kept her head on her paws.
 
Leopardclaw was fast asleep, in his nest. His dreams brought with them a haunting memory. He was back with his mother, it was only a few days before he was to be apprenticed. His mother had taken him out into the woods to let him get some energy out. The adult Leopardclaw watched this memory is anticipation, he had this dream regularly but never saw how it played out. The medicine cat felt a sense of dejavu every time he had this dream, as if he had actually lived it. The only troubling thing was that he had no recollection of it. Leopardclaw watched as leopardkit pounced around on twigs an leaves, his mother amused. Before long he awoke to his deputy shaking him.

"Leopardclaw wake up!" Shadetail sounded frantic. When the medicine cat opened his eyes she sighed. "You were making quite the fuss, and look at yourself. Your fur is completely fluffed out, was that a dream that Pebblestar should hear about?" she asked and he shook his head to indicate no. "Well it's time to go anyways." she mewed as she escorted him towards the entrance of camp.

Blackfur eyed the two as he watched them pass. He was not chosen to go to this moons meeting.

Mistfur looked at Stormpelt. "I hope the sleep mewling isnt a regular occurance, or else I might have to cover you with moss." She teased.

Emberheart came bounding out of the warriors den, wide eyed an bushy tailed. One could likely see the anticipation exploding out of him.
 
Stormpelt stood shaking her fur. She swiped at her friend and growled at her playfully. She stood and went to follow her father. The other's behind her, she nudged her old apprentice gently and licked his ear."come on Emberheart, I am very proud of the warrior you have become." She said to him as they walked. They walked for a while and made it to the meeting her father sniffed and nods. They went into the meeting.

The cats split up to talk to the other clans. The elders talked among themselves and apprentices with each other. Stormpelt normally went to the deputies and talkrd with them. This time, she just kinda sat by the highrock listening to the other cats talk. She turned her head when she heard a familiar voice interupt her thoughts.

"Leopardclaw." She said with a small purr. She dipped her head to him."How you holding up?" She asked him."The kits okay?" She asked him. She got comfy and kept one eye on the tree branch. Pebblestar,Thunderstar, and Scarstar were there. Where was desertclan they were late. She hoped Sandstar was okay. She saw them walk up but the deputy Deadtail was the head. She had a feeling Sandstar wasn't coming. She saw Deadtail jump on the log. She looked at Leopardclaw with a slightly worried look.
 
Leopardclaw wasn't sitting with the other medicine cat's, he was sitting with Stormpelt. "I'm alright, just a little tired. I haven't been sleeping well as it turns out. The kits are doing well, they'll be apprenticed soon. I hope you're doing well." he purred and nudged into her carringly. At the sudden realisation that he just did that, and at the meeting with all the clans he got up and quickly walked off. Sitting alone an off to the side.

Shadetail was watching engaged in casual conversation with the other deputies.

Emberheart was busy talking with the other warriors.

Mistheart had just walked up to Stormpelt as Leopardclaw left, not having seen his nudging into her. She looked at him as he left, then back at her friend. "What's gotten under his fur?" she asked as the medicine cat looked like he had just received some unwanted news.
 
Stormfur purred and nods."I hope you get some sleep and good the kits shall be formidable I hope. I am okay still in slight pain" She said. She let out a small laugh like purr. What was she doing, he was a medicine cat. She felt him nudge her and she purrred loudly. She had nudged him back. She stopped a minute and watched him go. She wanted to talk to him, her mouth opened to stop him, but he had bounded away.

Her eye's fell on Shadetail and a few others who had seen the exchange. It was best if she didn't persue this, she however had to talk to him she catch him after the meeting.

When Mistfur came up Stormfur, needed the ground and looked at her."Not sure, just want this meeting to start, come on." She walked to the other Deputies and dipped her head to all of them. She joined the conversation she ignored the urge to look at Leopardclaw. A loud call came out and the deputies went to take there places. She nudged Mistfur to her spot. She sat looking up as Scarstar started and went on about his clan. It was Deadtails turn, he stepped forward.

"I am sorry, to say that Sandstar has passed do to whitecough. I am known as Deadstar now and this is our new deputy Flametail." He said as he went on. She saw the cats of desert clan get nervous,, something about Deadstar had them spooked. She just watched, and listened.

Her leader stepp up,"Well welcome to being a leader we wish you the best of luck Deadstar, now I must say that there has been a badger in the area, our deputy storm fur fought it off saving kits of waterfallclan. We also have a bew warrior with us emberheart. We are doing quite well new kits always brings new life into the clan." He said stepping back.

Pebblestar stepped forward spoke and got to the badger attack. He said Stormfur was trying to steal there kits and the badger was a cover up. Stormfur sat up outraged. She spit and hissed. Her father jumped in."Pebblestar, were leaders how could you make such an accusation against my deputy, my clan we don't want your kits." He snapped. She puffed up her fur and growled."I wasn't stealing them I was saving them you fox dung." She spat, her fur was puffed out and the sky darkened. Cats let out loud yowls"You have disturbed the peace Pebblestar and displeased starclan. This meeting is over." Thunderstar says and jumps down so do the others. Stormfur looked at Leopardclaw giving him a look they beed to talk. She was nudged by Mistfur and walked away.

Leopardclaw heard his leader blatenly lie to all the clans about Stormfur trying to steal kits. He had told His leader what happened. He caught stormpelts glance and he nodded, hesitantly. Walking up to his leader he stood in front of him, the medicine cat was larger than his leader but infinitely less experienced in fighting. "Why in starclans name did you like to all the clans? You know she was saving those kits!" he was quite obviously growling, almost snarling at his leader.

Emberheart felt he was going to explode with pride when he was mentioned. His heart sunk when Pebblestar accused his former mentor of stealing kits. After the meeting he followed his clan home, confused and anxious.

Mistfur spat in pebbelstars direction as she passed, obviously infuriated.

Shadetail stepped up to Leopardclaw, her fur was on end and she looked like she was going to claw his face. "Back off Leopardclaw." she hissed. She couldn't believe the Tom who she had known since birth would act this way. She wasnt his kin, but they had been born within days of each other.
 
"You don't know what that snake was doing. She could of been trying to steal them. The badger could of stopped her plan. How could you believe those prey thieves wouldn't try to take kits." Pebblestar hissed at him he flicked his tail in annoyance. He pushed past Leaopardclaw and told his clan to move.

Stormpelt hissed and growled at Shadetail. She wanted to jump on the she cat and shred her apart. She walked back with her clan. She had not been trying to steal the kits. They already had enough of there own to feed, why would they want four more.

Thunderstar called the meeting and told the clan what happened. Stormpelt needed the ground annoyed. The clan was outraged."Pebblestar wants a fight he will get one, he is also accusing us of stealing prey along with kits. This is not true and Stormpelt saved there kits and this is how he treats us." He said
 
"You want a war." Leopardclaw growled and stormed off. He didn't head to the camp, he instead went his usual place of thinking. He arived at the medow and plopped down in a pile of soft grass. He closed His eyes and fell into a restless sleep.

Mistfur stayed by her friend, her tail twitching with annoyance. She stayed silent as her leader spoke.

Emberheart seemed anxious. His ears were flat against his head.
 
Pebblestar growled at him and watched him go. He walked back to his clan and sat outside after telling them about the meeting. He had to think on who would mentor Streamflowers kits.

Stormpelt watched her father jump down and she sighed. She was to angry to go rest. She nudged her friend and nodded for her to follow her."emberheart hunting and boarder patrol let's go you me and Mistfur." She mewed to them and bounded out of the camp.
 
Emberheart nodded and chased after Stormpelt. Mistfur followed as well.

"What do you want to do if we run into any waterfall clan?" Mistfur asked, she had the urge to claw that clan.

Emberheat stayed silent, not quite knowing what to say in the moment. This was a lot to handle for him, he was only recently made warrior and now war could be on the horizon.

Leopardclaw awoke with a jolt. His dream had shown him things that didn't make alot of sense. From what he could piece together Sandstar didn't die from greencough. He also saw, briefly, Pebblestar conversing with, then, deadtail on the border. They didnt seem hostile. This bewildered the Tom. He obviously couldn't go to his clan with this. He sighed and turned towards the stormclan, where the only cat He felt He could trust right now was.
