Okay so anyone use to play a game with their friends in school where you would each write one sentence, and one sentence only and eventually you would make up a story? Same thing. You only get One Sentence to add to the story per post and no double posting (double post and we start a new story). Once another person posts you are free to give another sentence. We go until we decide to start a story or until someone double posts then we start a new story.
Okay so I'll start us off:

It was a cold dreary autumn day with the red, orange, and yellow leaves brightly cokntrasting the grey sky.

Just as still as the tree under which she sat, our heroine stared half-lidded at the black notebook resting on her pants.

The wind was blowing hard, scattering the fallen leaves and ruffling the pages of Jane's notebook, but she was persistently holding it open on a blank page while her pen hovered half an inch above it.

"Today was a mess," she begun writing, before remembering to add the date in the page's corner.

She would have continued writing, but without any warning there was a sudden loud and menacing grown from behind her.

Tucking her pen behind her ear, Jane jumped to her feet, her eyes wide and her heart thumping loudly in her chest.

She would have continued writing, but without any warning there was a sudden loud and menacing grown from behind her.

Tucking her pen behind her ear, Jane jumped to her feet, her eyes wide and her heart thumping loudly in her chest.

She turned to see it was only her pet dog, Sir Fluffy the Destroyer.

  • Nice Execution!
Reactions: Pahn
"What's the matter boy?" she asked, looking at him curiously; he wasn't normally so aggressive.

The dog continued to bark at the trees.

Jane didn't realize what could possibly be wrong with the trees until her eyes followed up to the branches - there was something there, moving and hissing!

Jane saw what it was- a snake and paled, she was allergic to snakes.

Not to mention the fact that a large majority of snakes could kill a human with ease.

It turned out the particular snake she was looking at was poisonous too.

"Hello missss, I notissssed you were about to write ssssomething, a sssstory perhapssss?" The snake hissed and blinked its large yellow eyes at Jane, slowly creeping closer to her.

Something in Jane's brain failed to fire as she just stared at the snake in bewilderment, the name 'Eve' being the only thing coming to mind.

Fluffy, however, knew exactly what to think about the serpent as his cautious aggression rose -- the dog now barring his teeth with a low growl; pacing behind Jane while awaiting commands.
