Once upon a time, over 20,000 years ago, one single ruler ruled over what most gems today know as Home World. One ruler commanded even the Diamonds, as Diamonds were made to lead the different types of Gems.
Lonsdaleite is the true ruler of the gem empire, a powerful and highly influential ruler who has nearly no emotion. Revered like a god she has been in control since day one. As she says, through sheer willpower did she pop out of a planet over three eons ago. She has watched billions and billions of sentient creatures rise and fall under her, watched as they failed to survive against the perfection of the Facets beneath her.
Back then, Black, Yellow, Blue, and Red Diamond were perfect in every way, aiding in the ride of the empire. However, the empire needed to expand further, into a new section of the universe. The Milky Way.
Since Lonsdaleite needed to have all four of her beautiful diamonds been the her, so she devised a plan with them. She would use their essences to make new Diamonds. In the beginning it was hard to form another perfect being, they wouldn't take shape at first, but then one did.
One singular Diamond finally took shape and emerged… late. Very late. She was quite small and off color. But, wasting her material makeup would be meaningless, so instead she was tasked with being the Diamond for all court matters. Of course Lansdaleite never stopped trying to perfect the diamonds she needed.
She finally was able to make four brand new perfect diamonds. The first to emerge was Purple, made of red and blue's essence. Green, made of yellow and blue's essence. Maroon, who was Red and Black's essence. And White, made of all but Black's color.
It was set that White was supposed to represent the perfection of a Diamond. She was to lead, Yellow and Blue were to follow her no matter if they were older or not, White was their new commander as if they were still listening to Black. And Maroon was to be the youngest as she hadn't even popped out yet. So they took the meteor containing her with them to the Milky Way, where they could start colonizing on home world. But when White went to plant the injector pod with the Diamond essence it exploded and the crack it formed caused Blue and Yellow to poof. They completely reset and forgot who they had been. White had to fix the injector adding her own essence and then Pink emerged later on.
It has been over 20,000 years since then, and White hasn't told the other three about the existence of the other Diamonds. But White Diamond finally called a meeting with Steven, his friends, Yellow and Blue Diamond, and any other gem who wanted to tune in to the live broadcast.
She is admitting while they have changed, there is a whole different galaxy with gems who have much darker views than they used to, but to fight them is suicide. She fears they may be having the first check up on them ever, and she doesn't want to ruin Steven's work, but she doesn't think it's possible to survive unless they pretend to be perfect until they leave.
Will we conform for safety? Will we ride above? How much time do we have before disaster strikes?
This is the story I've written off the idea of a new story branching off what we love so much.
This is going to be 3rd person pass tense Novel style roleplay set for Long-Term activity.
There will be a focus on Slice-of-Life, Action, and of course Sci-Fi
Romances will be allowed but are not required!
