Starlight City. That's it. Not Starlight Kingdom. That one is for the history books. Located on an island roughly twice the size of the combined mass of the Hawaiian islands at a halfway point between the east coast of the USA and the UK.

In ancient times, it was called Atlantis. Now, it's got other nicknames. Not all of them are repeatable in polite company. You see, reality itself is just a little... damaged around this island, and portals directly to places people call Heaven and Hell both for lack of a better word, and, well, the things who come through those portals call them that too.

That's not the only pair of portals you'll find in Starlight City. The main civic center plaza has a huge one. But, you really never know where that one is going to go, or who or what is going to come out of it. Why base your city around such a random thing? Would you rather the strange visitors from other realities show up on the outskirts of town, where if they have ill intent they have plenty of time to hatch their nefarious plans? See, I knew you'd get it.

And that was great, sort of, for awhile. Then, well, portals just started showing up all over. People appearing, disappearing, and so on. Reality just was blindfolded and handed a big handful of darts. If you get hit by one, you might get superhuman powers. You might... well disappear. The thing is, a lot of people are really tempted to take that chance. Plus, rumor has it that there's other things out there, enhancers if you will, that can amp you up as surely as that random bolt from heaven, hell, or wherever, can.

Even if you're not interested in becoming more than human, it's pretty much the best place in the world to get fame and notoriety, so there is that. Or, you might have just been born here and this crazy is the normal you know.

Starlight City is a easy to find city. It is a world where heroes, villains and supernatural creatures live. It borders the world of fiction and fanfiction. Come to the city, we have a school, some great attractions and have a good time! Just know that death could lurk around any corner. - Taken from a tourist who left.... It's all lies.

Locations

Starlight Academy- The school Academy where students can enroll and take classes from daycare all the way up to and through college. This will consist of the dorms, the connecting bridge between dorms, classrooms, houses for the teachers and the school's boiler room and adminstration office and medical wing

Police Station- This consists of the station and the meta-human task force for the city and includes the jail.

Starlight Graveyard- This is the graveyard where there is a certain god who you can make deals with to bring your loved ones back from the dead or visit the dead.

Glistening Lake/Rainbow Forest- It is a rainbow lake and it shows you your favorite colors at certain times of day. The lake can give you powers if it deems that you are worthy. There's a guardian sprite of the lake. The forest is the area that surrounds the lake and holds the cities worst creatures

Downtown Starlight City-- This consists of the park, plaza, town hall, hospital, the hotel, orphanage, harbor, bar, resturant/ brothel, apartments and Superior Genetic Modification Industries.

Mirroredge Pantheon- This is where the gods of the city reside.

Starlight Crevice- This is where the ruins of church are. The portals to Heaven and Hell are also located there.

Shining Stars- The fancy hotel where most events are held.

The portal- This is where people from other worlds can stumble into here. (limited to 4 per person)

Appearance: His eyes are golden with reptilian slits. He has a few scars underneath his clothing due to his changing. He also has enchanted metal implants where his front four canine teeth are supposed to be, giving him the nickname Metal Fang. The reason for these implants is that he can change into a dragon at least 2 times out of the week. Or at least so he has tried. He can also sprout his wings, though it is very painful. Personality: The strong silent type usually. Though he does like humanity, and finds them interesting, he finds them also despicable. He is more interested in beings that aren't fully human. Those who are generally human, are not the kind he would like to be with. His father being killed by humans gives him this sense about him. Since he was young, Harkam was never really one to fight on purpose as well, but if you forced him into one, he would be dragging out a beast that really isn't human either. His anger is as unknown as he feels. And if there is one more thing, he is as hungry as he is greedy.
Weakness(ONE FOR EACH ABILITY/POWER): anger issues, bipolar disorder, gets distracted or has short memory, is socially a loner.

Age: 151 years (appears to be in her early twenties)
Appearance: Gwen is a petite woman stand at 5"4. Her natural hair is a dark mocha brown color, but thanks to a magic accident (one she refuses to share with anyone do to it being embarrassing) the current color as of now is a bright platinum blonde with her eyebrows staying the natural brown color. Eyes are silverish blue, skin a fair peachy color with dark freckles speckled across her cheeks and nose.

Occupation: Gwen works in the black market, selling potions and items from herbs to dragon's teeth for paying customers

Personality: Gwen is a stern and proud woman who is very blunt, unafraid to speak her mind. The witch has been known to be a realist as well as practical, taking on her father's strong willed personality and her mother's sarcasm. Despite all this, she's maternal towards those she cares for.

Weakness(ONE FOR EACH ABILITY/POWER): she's not very skilled or strong in elemental magic such as fire, ice wind manipulations just to name a few. Physically, she is not strong, Gwen has about as much strength as the average human woman, and though she is a good enchanter, the enchantment themselves are limited and the magic will eventual dull and wear off. Enchanting as well as spellcasting also takes up energy and magic, the more magic she uses for spellcasting or enchanting the stronger it is, but the weaker she becomes and depending on how much magic she's used will depend on how long it will take her to regain her strength.

History: Gwen's mother was human while her father, a warlock. She was not gifted with magical abilities, but she was taught the ways of magic through her father and grandmother. She is a self-made witch, who studied all she could in the magical arts, taking a particular interest in enchanting and concocting potions. Her talent in brewing, spellcasting and enchantments has helped her through the years as she sold potions and items in secrecy to earn some extra cash. For years she has done this and along the way, in the black market, she found a rat for sale. Gwen did feel a bit lonely at the time and thought perhaps a pet could keep her company. She bought the inexpensive rodent and when she took him home, to her surprise he shifted into a boy. Even stranger the boy claimed to be her familiar. Gwen wanted nothing to do with a shape shifting child, but she could put said child out onto the streets and so decided to keep him. They've lived together for nearly 100 years ever since.

Extra: With the help of an enchanted pendant, she is able to disguise herself in the form of an old woman that she typically uses when dealing with customers to hide her true identity.

Appearance: ( Details the photos do not include/ scars/ height, weight, etc...): Pan is a thin boy in his human form, standing at 5"2 with bright reddish hair and peachy skin. His eyes are coal black and he bares a small cut on his right ear. As a rat, he is of average rat size and weight which is 10 inches in length (from head to tail) and weighs a little over a pound. He has a dark fading face, black eyes, and a creamy white furred body, his right ear with the small tear is more noticeable in this form.

Occupation: getting into mischief Gwen's assistant
Personality: Gwen named the rat-boy, Pan, due to his childish and playful nature like Peter Pan. What's more is that he is a known prankster who is cunning as a boy as he is a rat. His curiosity has known to get him into trouble more than once and despite being a bit mischievous, deep down he is sweet boy who truly only wants to make friends and is deathly loyal to Gwen.

Personality: Connor is hot-tempered, kind and somewhat violent when provoked. He is quite mischevious and is very fateful to any love one

Powers/Abilities: He has control over lightning, earth and Nature and air. Connor also has more powerful magic that requires him to absorb life force to live. He can create a small rock elf , bring an ice statue and fire to life and and can animate his spell book.
Weaknesses(Be fair here, it will be observed. Try to give one weakness for every power. If it's something as simple as a werewolf having better smell...that doesn't count as a power):His magic does has its limits, it is based on energy, if he uses too much or a powerful spell, it will weaken him or kill him. He is also weak to bullets, flames and can be drowned. . His life force is tied to his spell book and his statues.
History: He was born in the 1800s. He was discovered as a witch and was killed. When Cole and Colton arrived on Earth, he entered their body and became his own personality to them. Before that though, he saved Theodore's father and recently released him from his prison of being his servant, but not without the complication of the two still being bonded as life forces.

Do whatever your character would do. If you ditch me then Alice is just going to take on Glitch personas and then try and track down twiggy or Midnight. If they stick together then they stick together. Either way Alice would probably not get mad because she would think it was her fault for not being fast enough. (without a phone out, she truly is a wimp and ah push over.)

I will say that without the job change, Alice will have trouble keeping up while lugging her suitcase. So that the direction im going... I might even make her get lost.
