Dorothy would happily clap her hands. " I am glad that I don't have to spell it out for you. He's your new roommate," she replied, handing the doll a dorm keycard and a different card. " Second card is for an optional help to fit in more. Company here named Superior Industries has a device that can make you look human- kind of like a fancy illusion."

Orion would look at the doll. " Well, that was nice of her."

"I think I'll just go as myself, thank you. And, thanks for letting me stay here...Dorothy," Aiden gave the woman an sincere smile. To Orion, he asked, "Ready?"
 
Dorothy Robinson and Orion

" Well, that choice is yours, it's more that the city is very big for a small doll. You're welcome. Also, Orion, don't forget to do your once a day age transformation. We don't want you losing track of how long you have been either age."

Orion would offer a shrug. " Hey, do you want to see my adult form?" He asked Aiden.

"Sure," Aiden climbed off the boy's shoulders, plush feet silently hitting the pavement. "I'm all for strange transformations."
 
Orion

Orion would close his eyes and not comment on the doll's comment on it being strange. He focused on working to be an older age than he was right now. It took a second, but before Aiden, Orion went from the teen to a fully grown adult man.

He noticed he looked slightly different than normal. " This is a different appearance than I usually have."

"Do you do that because they won't allow minors to live by themselves legally?" Aiden asked. It made the most sense to him.
 
Dorothy Robinson and Orion

" It's a little bit that- but it's also a bit of research. Orion is a lot different from the other people here. He was formed by a magic spell from a lot of different people to get a physical form and he can do things that other people in the town can't do. Actually, looking at this appearance, it looks similar to the one you lost a few months back."

Orion would nod. " Plus every young person here is supposed to have a roommate. And I don't- so this was the alternative."

"That's so neat, and makes sense, in a way," Aiden said, then frowned. "But, please tell me you don't use that to get into R-rated movies and such."
 
Orion and Dorothy Robinson

Orion raised a very confused eyebrow. " I don't understand what you mean by that at all," he replied back to the doll,. What was even an R-rated movie?

"Orion doesn't mentally age with his form shift and despite being powerful, he's still very naive and child-like and has a lot of things to learn."

"R-rated movies are for adults," Aiden explained. To Ms. Robinson, he said, "Ah, that makes sense."
 
Orion and Dorothy Robinson

" Oh, like the movies with a lot of cursing and like the grown up things, yeah, I don't like those things. Good movies don't need that sort of stuff."

Dorothy would smile. " Orion, you should probably help Aiden settle in."

"True, but some people like that stuff," Aiden said. "And yeah, think I'm ready to take a look at my new home."
 
Orion

" I cannot account for the poor tastes of others," he replied, going to pick up the doll and putting him on his shoulder. " I do think it might be useful to at least think about the temporary human form procedure Dorothy mentioned. Starlight is very big and hard to travel even for the normal, or at least that's what it looks like to me."

( OOC Note: Orion is being super honest here, traveling as a tiny doll in Starlight will be hard)

" Okay, but that means we got to figure out a way for you to go fast in the city when I'm not around- maybe like a souped up doll jetpack or something."

"That sounds neat, but what about other options?" the toy asked, eyes round with curiosity.
 
Orion

" Well, there's someone being an escort for you everyone and being carried, there's the human form thing I mentioned where you can change back whenever you want and I guess long walks that take days is also an option."

"It takes days to get from place to place around here?" surprise was in his voice. "Seriously?"
 
Orion

" I mean for a doll, probably. The city takes up most of the island we are on. Well at least the whole middle. And I swear it gets bigger sometimes."
