Stargate Anyone? (AU)?

Wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a Stargate roleplay based in an AU in which none of the television series happened? We could take our own approach to the universe, and it's characters.

I'd also like for most people to not play Tau'ri, as you could play them (humans) anywhere else. Want to explore a bit? Play something outside your comfort zone. Though of course, I am not forbidding acting Tau'ri characters I'd just like to see more Jaffa, or Asgard, etc...

Consider me interested, but indecisive; I don't want to disappoint should the end result not hook me completely. ;3

I mean, it certainly catches my eye; I am an avid fan of the Stargate franchise. That you encourage more variety in the characters is definitely an attractive feature, too — though I wonder how you intend to migrate the group together, in that case. I'm only held back by my fickle muse, I suppose; my experiences are really hit-and-miss with regard to fandom roleplays.
