I'm surprised there hasn't been a thread yet, but here's the first trailer for Rogue One:

Look pretty good. The tone seems a little more dark and hectic then the main trilogies

They're good at that. Fortunately, they at least give us entertaining cash grabs some of the time.
 
The zoom-in on Mark Hamill's face as he contemplates suicide at the end has me in tears.

I'm calling it now, Thrawn will be the primary villain for Rebels Season 3. This guy seen might very well be another grand admiral. There wee originally 13 of them, interesting to see if they are brought back to cannon.

Dude, its obvious the Rogue One grand admiral is AlternateUniverse!Palleaon, who got his rank up far, far earlier than in canon. instead of being the Watson to Thrawn, he's his equal and best friend. they play space chess all the time.

God I really hope Palleon gets a return to canon. But I don't think that's the right way to go. You need that Watson/Sherlock dynamic in order to tell the story.

There's also a mystery admiral at the end of Aftermath who could very well be Thrawn.
