Local space station, Wild Space, A Galaxy, far, far away
Year 22 ABY

Blaster fire erupted as the siren alarms nearly drowned it out throughout the semi-darkened hallway. Turning the left corner was a figure clad in green armor took cover as several laser bolts flew past her, hitting the wall on the opposite end. Scowling underneath the helmet Minerva Fhirdiad thought. They couldn't hit a drunken Hutt.

On the other end she heard the angry shouting and curses being thrown in her direction. It caused the mercenary to chuckle. "They're not happy. Well I just stole this artifact from them, whatever it is." Briefly she looked down a small plated container held in her right arm.

Amusement transformed into determination. The Mandalorian drew a flashbang with the free hand, activating it before tossing the device back toward the hostiles. The resulting flash caused many to cry out in pain.

Subsequently Minerva rockets off her feet via jetpack. Seconds later she exited the hallway, entering a hanger, filled with fuel cells and crates arranged in rows. Then was one dark painted vessel docked in the center. The armored warrior flew straight toward it. Immediately the few cultists wearing orangish garb lounged about or working came to their senses and opened fire on her, joined by their comrades coming out of the entrance.

Swerving left to right in order to dodge the murderous fire Minerva quickly pressed a button on her left wrist gauntlet. The ship's ramp at the rear side and she dived in moments later. Inside she turned off the jetpack and rolled to the floor twice before collapsing sideways. Grunting in slight pain she then pressed the button that closed the ramp while rushing through the interior for the cockpit.

Jumping in the pilot's seat, Minerva placed the container in the co-pilot chair. Frantically she activated her ship taking the flight controls with both hands. The whine of the ship's engines caused the crew to fire blaster bolts at its rear hull. Soon a booming voice on the intercom called out.

"Close the hanger door now!"

Lifting up from the ground and the dual landing gear, front and back closed up. From the cockpit Minerva quickly noted the metal door materializing from above. Alarmed at the development, the merc punched in a quick set of coordinates and turned on the hyperdrive generator.

This is gonna cut it close.

Much to the horror of a dozen or more hostiles they realized what their thief was actually doing. They stopped firing and tried to flee but it was too late. Minerva pulled the lever and the vessel jumped straight into lightspeed. The resulting blue burst of flames from the engines ignited the fuel cells meters away, into a massive furious explosion consuming the unfortunate cultists still there.

Simultaneously the Mandalorian's craft escaped the hangar just as the latter's door was fully closed. Just before Minerva could celebrate the container due to the violent turbulence fell off the seat and it opened. A strange crystal-like sphere with emerald markings crashed to the floor. Upon impact the artifact shattered with a powerful electrical charge that instantly coursed through the whole ship.

"Manda!" Minerva exclaimed in pain as she withdrew her shocked hands from the controls and sparks flew.

To her greater alarm the entire vessel suddenly lurched out of hyperspace spinning out of control with a green burst of energy. The mercenary held on to her seat for dear life as the ship hurtled uncontrollably through space. Finally Minerva lost consciousness. Seconds later the strange energy dissipated and the vessel stopped but was damaged in the process quite distance away from a green terrestrial world. Unknown to the unconscious Mandalorian, an unknown ship, a large freighter class made its approach within twenty minutes having just witnessed what just happened…

Stirring, Minerva winced as she sat up in a bunk feeling sore all over groaning a bit. Immediately she realized something was wrong with widened eyes. My armor is gone! Looking at her bare hands she glanced all over herself, confirming the terrible truth. She now wore only her black sleeveless shirt, green brownish pants and footwear. In addition, Minerva's weapons were missing as well.

"Took you long enough." A man's voice remarked meters away.

The Mandalorian jolted her head toward the source. Staring back at her from behind rust covered cell bars was a blue armored middle aged human male. The man in question had reddish hair and a big beard. His expression was filled with vicious amusement and arrogance. The very sight of him pissed her off and she exclaimed jumping up from the bunk.

"Who are you and where am I?!"

Snorting in reaction the man shook his head. "You're in no position to make demands, lady. I'm in charge here. If ya play nice with me perhaps we can work something out."

Minerva narrowed her eyes and lips bitten in growing frustration. At the sight her 'host' chuckled he then said.

"My, my if looks could kill. Well I might as well introduce myself. I'm Commander Quincy Quentin of the Blue Suns, specifically in charge of this outpost."
Puzzled, the Mandalorian raised an eyebrow. Never heard of the Blue Suns. Then again it is a large galaxy. She thought to herself not realizing yet of her true circumstances. Quincy smirked all the more.

"Still confused I see. Not that matters to me but your ship, tech and weapons have proved rather fascinating."

Anger boiling within Minerva squeezed her fists. "Ya thieving mynock! If you wish to live you're returning all of my property and let me out of this cell!"

At first surprised by the insult Quincy sneered at her newest demands, retorting.

"Get it your skull little girl, there is nothing you can do except answer my questions. Who are you exactly?"

Crossing arms over her chest, Minerva displayed a stony expression. The Blue Suns commander tried again.

"Me and my boys just came from a job when your ship appeared out a bright light. You were knocked out when we found you in the cockpit and helped ourselves to the contents."

His smugness faded as genuine curiosity was on display. "I must say I never came across interesting gear and your ship itself is different from what we saw in the the Terminus Systems. Perhaps something new from Citadel Space?"

At those words Minerva titled her head, utterly confused. "Terminus Systems, Citadel Space… What are you talking about? I never heard any of these places."

"What?!" Commander Quinten exclaimed in disbelief. "Don't dumb with me! Everyone with a brain knows these things. You're a human like me crying out loud."

"I'm nothing like you scum!" She fired back although within the confines of her mind Minerva became more concerned.

I must be further in Wild Space or even Unknown Regions. Have to find a way out of this.

Growing impatience with this conversation Commander Quincy said.

"Since you won't talk willingly we will do this the hard way."

At the snap of his left fingers two more men in blue armor came cover with guns drawn. One of them however, took Minerva completely off guard with his four dark eyes with a flat stripe of rigid cartilage runs along the top of the head. The skin itself was yellow-greenish. At her staring the alien frowned before sarcastically asking in a deep, guttural voice.

“Never seen a Batarian before?"

Minerva said nothing, still in shock before they opened her and approached. She would have resisted but the human guard and Quincy had their guns drawn on her while the Batarian came forward with handcuffs. Frustration mounting Minerva's hands nonetheless were locked on tight and she was escorted out of the cell by the trio of mercs into a makeshift hallway.

As they marched on, Minerva silently told herself.

I don't know where am I but I won't let this sleemos get the best of me. As soon as the opportunity presents itself they will pay. All of them.

Omega, Sahrabarik System, Omega Nebula, Milky Way Galaxy
Year 2190 CE

Approaching an informant of the infamous Aria T'Loak, Novus Calpso returned from a mission assigned to him by one of her agents after hearing about his reputation in the Terminus Systems. After raiding a Cerberus Base within the system, he returned to the bar known as Afterlife to give them what she required.

"Didn't think I'd see you again. Got the job done?"
"Yup. Got the codes and everything Aria needs to raid the remaining bases in this system."

Reaching for the datapad that he was carrying on him, Novus tossed it towards the agent who catched it and double checked it.

"Hmm. Seems legit. And you went through the effort of decrypting it for unlimited access. Nice work. Looks like the Devil's Charm isn't all talk."
"Anything for Aria. I might be a pretty badass Pirate / Mercenary for the Terminus Systems and the rest of the Galaxy, but I'm not stupid. Aria's quite the woman, and getting in bed with her has it's merits."
"In your dreams pal. Anyway, you're no longer needed. See ya."
"See ya."

Exiting the bar, he was on his way to his ship to catch up on some rest, some much needed rest. Those Cerberus boys gave him quite the trouble, even damaged one of his ship's wings which he needed to address before heading out. That could be taking some time. Maybe whilst fixing his ship, someone could give him some information on his next job...

Meanwhile...
"Hey, think this girl is legit?"

Bickered the two guards who were walking Minerva through the hallway.

"What, that she's never heard of us, or where we are? You must be as stupid as she is."
"Hey, I'm not questioning anything."
"You literally just questioned if she was telling the truth. You think I'm fucking stupid?"
"I think you're a few bullets short of a full magazine."
"Cut the chatter, both of you. Just keep moving."

Barked Quincy which immediately shut the other two units down. Just where exactly were they taking her?

Commander Quincy led in front with a restrained Minerva in the back and flanked on each side by the guards. She said nothing else in response to their comments but found them as mystifying as they did with her. The only thing that the young Mandalorian could've concluded is that she must be in a more isolated part of the galaxy.

I can't think of any other reason. There is a planet called Termins on the edge of the Outer Rim but I get the feeling their so-called commander was speaking of something else entirely. Like what the kark is Citadel Space anyway?

Their collective footsteps echoed on the filth covered floor as Minerva considered her options. She could already guess they mean to interrogate her for further information. Squeezing both fists tightly Minerva's anger burned silently. Held captive in an unknown place and sripped of both armor and weapons. Her pride as a warrior was more than bruised to say the least.

Should've never taken that job from the New Republic intelligence. A simple snatch and grab they claimed. More trouble than it was worth.

Suppressing a sigh as they turned a corridor she reminded herself. What's done is done. Time to figure a way out of this mess.

To start with Minerva took stock of her surroundings. The rust and creaking metal gave the impression that she is a place tied with industrial screw ups. In other words this outpost was not originally so, meaning there are likely more weaknesses to exploit than possible in a more modern and efficient base.

On the end of the hallway was what appeared to be an exit. Even from a long distance Minerva could hear machinery at work and more voices from the other side. Within more than three tense minutes later the small party came out. Immediately she noted half a dozen blue armored personnel scattered around what appeared to be a docking area filled with crates, metal barrels and what seemed to be few shuttles and some kind of gunship on the far side.

Shoved forward Minerva winced while the Batarian demanded.

"Keep moving your ass girl!"

Begrudgingly the Mandalorian compiled but made sure to take in more of what's going on at the same time. Many of these mercs were humans while others were more Batarian and a few more that were avian humanoids. Some stared back at her before going about their business.

They marched on through with Minerva now seeing countless derelict ships and ruined parts that occupied the surface.

Reminds me of Raxus Prime.

Although some panels were marked with inscriptions she couldn't recognize the language at all. As they neared the next building they were walking on the edge of a platform. Glancing down briefly at the massive amounts of junk below Minerva quickly made a decision and said.

"Wait, wait, I'll talk."

Quincy stopped and as did his guards. They all chuckled before the commander turned around saying.

"Glad that you're more reasonable-

Before he could even finish Minerva slammed her head right into his face, breaking the nose. As the commander cried out and staggered back the Mandalorian went low and spun a kick that knocked the human guard on to the side. Swearing his native tongue the Batarian reached for his M-3 Predator but Minerva tackled him, knocking both off the edge of the platform.

The Batarian screamed as they fell and crashed. Sliding down the junk hill Minerva used her captor as a board holding onto him until crashing to dirt. Instantly rolling off the Blue Suns guard Minerva sprang up kicking the alien man in the face with the left foot. Knocked down again he was helpless as she stomped down and broke his right knee. Even as his cry filled the air Minerva showed no mercy, and from behind gripped the four eyed guard's head as with both hands, snapped his neck.

Breathing heavily she left the dead man drop before searching his gun but didn't see it.

"Stang!"

Hearing shootings above and an alarm echoing Minerva instead searched the corpse and found the key. After some struggle the cuffs came off with a thud. Having no time to celebrate, she ran off from the scene, heading to the right flank, specifically a large destroyed engine. Stopping at the edge to see what's below Minerva thought.

"I'll be back for my stuff and finally get some answers. One way or another.

With that in mind she subsequently jumped and slid down into the darkness below.

Omega Station

While Novus was fixing his ship a visitor arrived outside at the docking bay. It was a Salarian with purple skin, in a blackish suit with white line on his collar and edge of his sleeves. Placing both arms behind his back the amphibian glanced around briefly announced his presence impatiently.

"Novus it's me! I know you're here."

While waiting for the pirate to respond he brought up his right arm, activating the omni tool. A screen appeared, displaying columns of data upon data. As the information broker known as the Oracle it paid to be consistently updated in his line of work.

"Ugh. Damn Cerberus Bastards... They really made a mess of the girl. A quick fix though, luckily nothing too critical was damaged."

As he was making the necessary repairs, someone opened the docking bay door which made him stop for a moment. Who exactly was entering this section of the docking bay? He had rented it out specifically for himself, and only a few people knew the access codes or could bypass security. Acting on instinct, Novus reached for the Executioner Pistol on his waist and prepared to pull it out when he heard that voice.

Novus it's me! I know you're here.

Of course. One of the information brokers that he deals with on a regular basis. Who else would it be? Retracting his hand, he dropped down from where he was and greeted the Salarian.

"Oracle. It's rare for you to show up in person, usually you just give me a job via a datapad delivered by one of your "agents." I can only guess something pretty important is warranted if you're here to greet me."

(Tag: @Nomad-22 )

Oracle nodded in full acknowledgment once Novus opened the door.

"Correct on both accounts. What I recently discovered warrants this occasion."

Turning off his omni-tool the broker subsequently handed his pirate client a datapad. As soon as Novus activated the datapad he would see footage from a freighter's command deck. At first the Turian would see mercs in blue sun gear busy at the bridge as their vessel headed over to a pollinated planet. Soon the audio played as Quincy's voice was heard.

"Finally we're back. Got a good haul this time. Can't wait to tell Darner Vosque that we-

Before the commander could finish, a bright explosion of green energy suddenly ignited from the far left side of the ship's viewpoint with a thunderous roar.

"What the hell?!" Quincy exclaimed as he and many of the crew fell, clutching their faces. As soon as that happened the light faded revealing a ship that Novus had never seen before. It was black painted but heavily damaged and hanging upside down.

Grunting and groaning the mercs who fell got up with their fellows as they took in the sight.

"Huh?"

The footage ended there as Oracle explained.

"That incident happened three rotations ago around Korlus and there‘s more."

Next Novus would see slides of pictures of the mysterious ship taken into the freighter, the mercs examining and messing with their new find and some dragging out what appeared to be an unconscious human female.

"From what I learned that is the pilot they found but this ship itself doesn't match anything in public records from citadel space. Could be something experimental like your baby is."

Pausing for a moment Oracle went on.

"In addition the gear and a number of the ship's contents found are different from mass effect tech. The local Blue Suns have already taken their new guest and her vessel back down on their base in that junkyard of a world. Although they haven't sold anything yet. Obviously they're trying to figure out what they have now."

Recently discovered, huh... As soon as the datapad was handed to him, he opened it and watched what it had to behold. A video of some kind. The mention of Darner Vosque which was interesting to hear, but the highlight was the arrival of an unknown ship. Was it a... no, he shook his head as he pondered one thing but immediately shook it off. Too small to be what he thought it was.

"So this ship just appeared out of nowhere, frightening some Blue Sun thugs."

The mention of Korlus was something that immediately perked his interest. He was aware that the Blue Suns were running an operation down there involving a certain Krogan Warlord. He was alive when this was happening, not a surprise. But the human female was another. Taken against her will after the ship arrived... Nah. That was stupid of her, arriving in Blue Sun territory. It wasn't until Oracle mentioned that the gear and elements of the ship were not of Mass Effect origin, and that none of it has been sold yet. An opportunity perhaps? Maybe.

"Well now, this is an interesting development. If they haven't sold anything, or the girl, then they're as you say, figuring things out, or they're keeping it all for themselves. I better check this out. What's the catch, Oracle? There's always one with you."

(Tag: @Nomad-22 )

Shrugging his shoulders the Salarian replied.

"Well if you happen to come across any intel relating to Blue Suns operations I may just cut my usual fee at 10 percent for this occasion. Fair warning their base of operations is more heavily garrisoned since Jedore and Okeer died years ago."

Oracle allowed himself a smirk.

The understanding between Darner Vosque and Aria T'loak has been strained for a long time since the war. Omega's boss might be grateful for any knowledge about the mercenary leader's current intentions. Of course even if Novus didn't uncover any conspiracy by the Blue Suns there still could be useful data there that others might want. Best of all, the Turian pirate would be taking the risk, not him. In addition this strange ship and its pilot will be the incentive.

His omni-tool ping, alerting both Oracle and Novus. Raising his dominant arm he clicked a digital button and read the latest message. Blinking upwards Oracle then commented.

"Hmm…interesting development. It appears the pilot is alive and escaped the Blue Suns for the time being. They're hunting her currently."

"You should know by now that I always come back with Intel. I may act off my own accord but I'm not stupid. I'm confident in my skills but Aria on the other hand... She's something else. To even be able to even will the great Commander Shepard to helping her reclaim Omega was a feat no other pirate has ever done."

Novus returned to the damaged wing and used his tool to finish the job when the Omni-tool pinged, making him return after fixing the wing's engine. So they're hunting down the pilot... Sounds like they couldn't do a good enough job of keeping her in chains. Sounds like she might actually be worth going after.

"Guess I had better go after her. The Blue Suns have a head-start."

Opening up the cockpit of the ship, Novus jumped in and lowered it, preparing to take off when he turned on the ship's outer speakers.

"I'll be sure to steal some credits for your troubles, Oracle."

(Tag: @Nomad-22 )

Both arms crossed over his chest, Oracle said nothing in response, calmly watching the ship take off. As soon as the vessel flew off from the docking bay Oracle sighed. Novus had a penchant for mischief, certainly for a Turian. For this kind of situation, the pirate's approach will be useful.

If whatever Novus discovered from the strange pilot and her ship proves to be valuable Oracle fully intends to take advantage of it. His omni-tool ping again, raising the Salarian snort before taking the call. A voice called in from the other end.

"Oracle?"

"Greetings ambassador. How can I be of service?"

He answered while turning away and walking off…

Once the ship left the docking bay, Novus piloted his way towards the Mass Effect relay, punching in coordinates to Planet Korlus in the Imir System. Sounds like he's going to be on rescue duty this time, something he's not entirely out of the loop of, just prefers that someone else does that. But for this one, that was an exception...

1 Hour Later . . .

Planet Korlus, Imir System, Eagle Nebula,

Novus's ship successfully made the jump and arrived in the space near Korlus. Already his ship was picking up faint signatures, most likely the Blue Suns's vessel or vessels that were in the area. Taking things nice and slow, he flew in to the planet and picked a landing spot that wasn't easy for them to locate.

"Hope the lass isn't in too much trouble. Ah hell, wouldn't matter anyway. Blue Suns are pretty ruthless, though not as ruthless as the Blood Pack so maybe she has a chance. Not much of one though. Sigh... Guess I had better find her first."

Making landing in his designated location, Novus grabbed all his weapons and equipped them to his armor; favouring the Vindicator as his weapon of choice for moving out for now. Time to locate this girl and snag any tech along the way.

(Tag: @Nomad-22 )

In the midst of a derelict ship's interior a full team of five mercs advanced with assault rifles and shotguns. They were one of many units now searching the region. Helmet flashlights shine through the darkness as the mercenaries pressed on through the halls with metal creaking with motion they took. The squad leader in the center spoke via comms while hand signaling in different directions.

"Spread out and stay sharp. Remember the commander wants this one alive…for now."

Splitting off into two smaller groups, a pair of troopers headed toward what was once the cabin areas while the rest went to investigate the former command bridge. The duo made sure to check the corners from each side as they made their way through.

"Can't believe that girl got away and broke the commander's nose and killed Darshan." The Turian merc whispered as he examined an empty room. Immediately his human partner searched the opposite room.

"Keep that to yourself man. Quincy is already pissed about it and who knows what he will do to us both if he catches you talking like that."

Waving off the concern with one talon the Turian replied.

"I get it, I get it. Ya don't need to remind me what the boss is capable of."

The human said nothing else and went further into the room but failed to check the large hole in the roof. As soon as he passed scanning the walls for any signs Minerva jumped down with a thud.

"What the—

Before he could finish his throat was sliced with a metal shard. Immediately hearing the commotion the Turian rushed over but Minerva leaped, kicking him with both legs to the chest plate. Both fell with loud clang but the Mandalorian rolled up just as her foe tried to reach for his shotgun. Kicking it away Minerva slammed her other knee into his head.

Knocked down again he was stunned long enough for his attacker to jump on him and start stabbing. But the darkness made it hard for her to hit the right spot and the merc used his weight to roll them around as they both grappled with one another. Finding herself strangled Minerva then jabbed the shard right through his right arm.

Crying out the Turian let go of her and she took full advantage of it. Minerva grabbed his helmeted head and violently snapped it. The merc collapsed on top of her, forcing Minerva to push him off with some difficulty. Seeing the M-22 Eviscerator Shotgun with its flashlight still on she quickly grabbed the weapon before checking both bodies.

This is probably some kind of slugthrower. The young warrior concluded to herself but discovered they didn't have any belts.

Hearing their comms beep Minerva knew their fellows will be looking for them real soon. Fortunately she did find a small metal sphere, likely a grenade of some kind and a combat knife. Placing both in opposite pockets Minerva headed off to the next part of the ship.

The hunters will now become the prey…

Making his move, Novus was moving quietly through the ruined world, taking note of the area on the way. Just as he suspected; nothing more than a simple graveyard of ships and other scraps. He was always confused as to why this was the location that they chose to breed Krogan Mercenaries but all he knows was that it was stopped. As he moved deeper in, a patrol was nearby which caused him to take cover and take out his Vindicator; listening in.

"You hear the news over the comms?"
"That the girl broke free and caused some shit?"
"Yeah. Think she'll pass through here?"
"Nah. That sector is a bit too far from here. No one will ever hit us here, they'd have to be stupid."
"Like you guys?"
"Yeah, like us--- Wait."

Before the others had time to react, Novus appeared out of cover and shot both their heads with the Vindicator.

"Charlie, report in."

A sound came from one of their heads, revealing to be an inbuilt comms unit, coming from their Commander, Quincy.

"Charlie, get your ass on this line, now!"

Taking this as an opportunity, Novus picked up one of the comms and spoke up.

"This is Charlie. Nothing but white noise over here, over."
"Who is this?"
"What do you mean? I'm just that Charlie scrub that you talk to on a regular basis."
"Who the fuck are you?"
"Devil's Charm. That's all you get to know."

Then he dropped the communicator and stepped on it, cutting the signal as he continued on his route to locate the girl.

(Tag: @Nomad-22 )

"Kapius, Ulric come in over." The team leader demanded for the fifth time through the comms but the only response he received was static. He and the two remaining mercs were on the former ship's bridge. So far they found nothing and the lack of response from their partners spelled trouble

He swore out-loud before being raised by Commander Quincy on the comms.

"We got an intruder! Took out Charlie and his crew. Have any of you idiots found the target yet?!"

One hand to his helmet the team leader answered back.

"This is Shez, I lost track of two of my men when we split up, been trying to raise them but no luck. She could be here-

"If she is there, find her! Don't waste my time with theories!"

Gritting his teeth Shez trying to keep his voice calm replied.

"I'll send the coordinates just in case and we'll be on the lookout for the intruder as well."

"Fine, Betor is heading your way with his squad. Give me results!"

"Yes commander."

As soon as the comms went quiet he thought to himself.

I should be in charge not him.

Suddenly something flew into their midst before exploding. Shrapnel cut through their shields, killing one of his men instantly who dropped to the floor. Shez and his remaining subordinate, a Batarian, fell back, both wounded. Out of the shadows Minerva appeared, blasting the latter face just as he looked up.

Blood splattered all over but Shez rolled away despite the deep wound in his left side, using the destroyed consoles as cover. He pulled out a M-9 Tempest submachine gun while calling to the other Blue Suns units.

"She's here, she's here." He shouted just as his shields came back online.

With a growl he sprang, firing away at Minerva. She ducked and rolled then got up and returned fire. Forced back down as the shotgun pellets struck a panel behind him, Shez reloaded with a new thermal clip. He can hear her steps, coming from the left flank. Taking the chance he rose up again, shooting away in that direction and forcing Minerva back to cover.

Then he put in another clip while ducking down again. Suddenly he heard something again in that same direction and fired off a new burst but instead it was a broken shard of metal. Just as he realized his mistake Shez turned and saw Minerva away from the corner and pulled the trigger, blasting his shields.

Before he could avenge himself the former prisoner threw the empty shotgun at him. Struck in the shoulder he swore then screamed as a knife flew in next impaling into his gun hand. Dropping the weapon Shez attempted to pull the blade off but Minerva rushed forward and leapt kicking him with both legs into his chest. At the sudden force he was pushed out an empty window, falling to his death with one more desperate scream.

Breathing heavily Minerva whispered. "Too close and more are coming this way." Knowing this the Mandalorian picked an M-8 Avenger rifle from one of the other dead mercs. She checked for ammo and finally found three clips although finding them rather strange. In addition Minerva took what she assumed to be another grenade but it appeared more differently and two knives.

Done she headed off the command bridge, knowing it was time to leave.

"That should throw them into disarray. Now they have two problematic individuals breathing down their necks."

Ensuring his Vindicator was loaded fully, Novus continued on his search. At least now he was aware that the woman was capable of defending herself, but even still. Blue Suns can just overwhelm with numbers if they wanted to, and they aren't pushovers. Least this time there aren't any Krogan on the planet. Batarians, Turians and Humans, no Krogan or Vorcha, or Salarians. Pushing onward, Novus got close to the point where gunfire was faintly heard. They're in more disarray than he thought. That woman surely knows how to look after herself... That might be an issue if she mistakes him as an enemy.

"Keep an eye out!"

Shouted a voice as Novus quickly got to the nearest cover and listened in.

"That outsider was last seen pushing in this way, maintain your perimeter and hold your ground!"
"Sir, our position has been entrenched, and salvaged turrets have been enabled."
"Good. As soon as that bastard so much as breathes in it's radius, he's mince meat."

"Shit. And that bridge ahead was where I heard the gunfire. Now is not the time for this... I need to think of something..."

(Tag: @Nomad-22 )

Minerva continued running through the halls, not waiting to meet that incoming squad. While she had so far been successful in eliminating a number of hostiles the Mandalorian wasn't a fool.

I'm without my armor and equipment and using an unfamiliar gun. Only to manage to make it this far because of their arrogance but those idiots will have to use their brains eventually or get lucky. They also have personal shields which makes it more difficult to kill them in a straight up fight.

Swifty turning a corridor she spared a moment to examine the weapon. Definitely some kind of rifle. Not to mention that last firefight revealed the type of ammunition they used at least for their shotguns and submachine guns. It was almost slugthrower rounds but different in her opinion. Under different circumstances she would be fascinated with all of it but when running for her life.

Just as she came down some steps when suddenly they gave way with a loud clang.

"Stang!" She exclaimed before crashing the ground with massive clouds of dust kicking up into the air. Pain spiked in her side, causing Minerva to grunt through gritted teeth.

I'm getting sloppy!

Forcing herself up she looked around before seeing light at the end of a broken passageway. At first limping Minerva pressed on until she sprinted again. Just as she came outside the sun briefly blinded her before everything became clear again. To the warrior's utter shock there was another team of Blue Suns. They were in an entrenched position facing away from her with gun turrets.

Before she could try and get away unnoticed when one of them in the back turned and spotted her. "There she is!" The sentry shouted pointing at her. Minerva responded by firing a short burst to him, decreasing his shields. He and some of the others fired back as Minerva slid over behind a sizable chunk of wreckage, its metal frame being peppered by countless thermal rounds.

"Terrific got myself in a trap." She murmured as the enemies kept firing to her suppressed and reported in her position. Gripping the avenger rifle tightly Minerva allowed herself a sigh. Whatever happens she won't make it easy for them.

Little did the Mandalorian realize that her presence had diverted the Blue Suns' attention from the Turian on the other side yards away.

"Converge on her position, we have her now!"

Shouted one of the Blue Suns grunts as it appeared that more and more were approaching Minerva's position. The more people arrived, the more suppression was being deployed against her. However, what she would hear next would be some juicy intel.

"Bravo, heads up. New report came in. The outsider is converging on your position. Take precautions."
"We're currently suppressing the outsider, sir. They can't possibly---"
"Not THAT outsider, you moron! The OTHER outsider! The Pirate! Devil's Charm is on their way to you right now!"
"Him? What the hell?!"
"So you better finish that girl off before he gets there!"

The communication stopped there as the fire turned from Suppression to aggression as most of them swapped to the same Shotgun Minerva picked up; M-22 Eviscerators, and started blasting away at the support pillars. Minerva needed to move or do something quick.

What?! Someone else is here! She thought behind the wreckage in realization. Normally Minerva would be wary of pirates but regardless of this outsider's intentions, she could take advantage of his presence.

The Mandalorian ducks down as the enemy firepower becomes more and more intense. Seeing and feeling the support pillars weakening she realized that what protection would be gone. An idea suddenly came to the warrior then with all her strength she started to push the slab of metal with her shoulders. Under different circumstances this would be impossible but the wreckage was on the edge of a junk heap.

Grunting and gritting her teeth Minerva could barely hear the rusted metal creaking with the gunfire continuing as the mercs advanced closer. Then at last the wreckage started rolling down the heap and right toward the mercenaries. Shocked and horrified they tried to flee but most were immediately crushed to death before it slammed to a stop, kicking up a huge dust cloud that Novus would certainly see.

Coughing Minerva slid down, taking advantage of the concealment before running off to the left side and hid inside a destroyed engine. Sweating, she wiped some of it from her brow, taking a moment to breathe. If there were any survivors of that stunt she just pulled they would be either crippled or scattered.

As soon as I get my gear back they're going to regret ever meeting me.

"Shit! Run!"

Shouted the Blue Sun grunts as they tried to run from the incoming wreckage but most of them were crushed and the rest scattered. They continued pressing their advantage on Minerva until that happened, causing them to try to figure out where they were. That was until a global transmission came in that was made obvious that she was able to hear.

"Alright, you little bitch. You've eluded me for the last time. I hope you're ready for some heat, because you're about to get it. If I were you, I'd look up."

That was Quincy, who advised Minerva to look up. If she were to do so, she'd spot something coming down fast from the atmosphere, and when it landed, the dust settled to reveal a large mechanical suit with a human in the seat, though the mech wasn't blue coloured like the armour sets, it still bore Cerberus White.

"Hope you're ready to experience pain, for that's all you're worth now."
"Not if I have anything to say about it."

Novus shouted as he dropped down into the scene as the mech came down, with his Executioner Pistol at the ready until he noticed the mech.

"Ahhh, shit. Shit!"

Quincy began opening fire to Novus's position, firing high calibre shots towards the ground to knock him off. Jumping behind cover, he quickly realized which cover he had taken, spotting Minerva and waving over to her.

"Hey, you must be the one these guys are so focused on catching! I'm on your side here, let's work together to take that ATLAS mech down before it takes US down!"

If she wasn't occupied with staying alive Minerva would've taken a lot of satisfaction in taking out that many hostiles. Without her own gear no less. While armor is an essential part to the Mandalorian identity it wasn't the only aspect. Her late father had taught her a great deal on improvising in combat. Just when the Mando thought that she could take the opportunity to make a break out of her new hiding when Quincy made his dramatic entrance.

"Stang!" She exclaimed through gritted teeth. Minerva was considering her options when the intruder arrived on the scene. Raising her left eyebrow she watched Novus and Quincy exchange fire. Before she could do anything the alien ran toward her direction, forcing Minerva to duck down as enemy shots bombarded the ground.

Hearing the thud the young warrior found herself starting back Novus. Blinking in sheer disbelief she thought. Who is this?! He is definitely one of those avian aliens but seemed to align with these Blue Suns. She bite her tongue to keep down a suspicious retort. The mech's continued bombardment violently shook their cover.

"Fine." Minerva finally said begrudgingly. Dust kicked from Quincy's shots as he stomped toward their position. For now they will team up against a common threat but the Mandalorian still didn't fully trust Novus.

"Do you have a plan, stranger? Any weaknesses does that metal suit have?"

"Yeah, you see the cockpit?"

Novus exclaimed, gaging Minerva's attention towards the ATLAS mech. On closer observation, she'd be able to make out that the material was pure glass.

"It's made out of glass, and is the weakest part of the mech. You destroy that, you get a clear shot at the pilot. Here, take this."

Novus waited for an opening, and tossed his M-15 Vindicator towards Minerva, prompting her to take it and use it over the shotgun she was holding, and the Avenger. Before he spoke again, he pulled out a strange looking Shotgun from his back and cocked it.

"I'll distract him, keep his attention on me. When you see an opening, aim at the cockpit. The Thermal Clips I have loaded in that Vindicator will be more than enough to penetrate the glass. Oh and uh, take care of that gun will you? It's sentimental to me."

Nodding his head, he rolled out of cover and fired the Shotgun at Quincy's general direction in an attempt to distract him and gain his aggro so Minerva could spot the opening.
