~Aboard the Grand Perfection, in orbit around Ilum~
250

Admiral Piknerr sat at the helm of his flagship, overlooking the now scarred remains of his wondrous planet. it's been a good year of mining absolutely every Kyber Crystal that can be found on this cursed rock, but now, it's almost over.

He hailed an officer over, one that has recently came from the planet, and he asked some things of him.

"How long until the planet is mined dry?"

"Approximately thirty days, sir."

"Good. Now, lets get some of the troops out of there, and start to pack up, let's make it gradual too, as to not get our workers worried."

"And what of the miners, Admiral?"

"Hmm...leave them there, keep a stricter watch over them, and make every mistake they make punishable by death, These cretins have stepped out of line before, and I will not have them step out of line again! every day will be like prison to them, that is, until we take our leave."

"Yes sir...anything else sir?"

"Yes, as a matter of fact! Warm up Peruvian Station, and get it ready too! We need to get these crystals to Io an a nice and timely fashion! No room for mistakes, only perfection!"

"Yessir!"

With that, the officer saw to his assigned tasks, while the admiral looked out his bridge towards the planet, to which he smiled with glee.

"Looks like everything's going according to plan..."

~Unknown Location, Rago~
Ryloth.jpg

There was a round table inside the resistance base, where everyone stood around. After some deliberation, a hologram of The Patriot stood up, and began to make a speech to everyone:
"Ladies and Gentlemen, Project Edge has, at long last revealed himself to us, It is located here, in this sector on the planet Io. I have some ships on standby, but I want to hear from you, what does the Resistance think is our best course of action? I would say strike now, as Piknerr is away at Ilum, and his fleet is stationed at Torval, so we should have clear space for the research facility..."

-Aboard the Star Destroyer Sanctimonious-

Rago. What, exactly, was the point of holding the place? Well, the distance to Project Edge's location, probably. Still, Salasian thought, he wouldn't be here much longer.

General Vye did not much like his station. He knew why he was here; in all likelihood, it was because he wasn't human. Bah! He could take any human on the ship in a fight and win. Probably. But despite his slightly backwater location, he admitted the work he was guarding was important. Very important. So perhaps his station wasn't actually that bad.

He steepled his six fingered hands together and gazed out upon the planet. "What have our forces on the ground reported, Lieutenant?" Vye's voice was deep and somewhat raspy, and obviously fake. It had the telltale growl of a vocalization unit; his species were not born with vocal cords.

A short pause as Lieutenant Cullei checked in with the other bridge staff. "Nothing, General. No Rebel activity." Vye did not expect any, either. Rago was a troublesome planet, but not one important enough to garner a heavier occupation. The admiral had wanted extra security for the last month of Kyber gathering, and instead of guarding Ilum directly, Vye had decided to monitor the planet where trouble was most likely to emerge. Still, he wasn't expecting too much drama.

Still, it never hurt to be safe. "Release another detachment of probe droids onto Rago, Lieutenant," he growled. He would not become complacent just because he was not personally on the ground. On the flip side, he would not waste stormtroopers unless they were actually needed. Thus, probe droids. Still, Rago was large, and probe droids could be avoided. But it was better than nothing.

General Vye leaned back in his chair, releasing an electronic sigh. Not too much longer, now. The end was in sight. And with it, victory.
