Bigger ships are less maneuverable than smaller ones. That is probably what you are thinking of.

That's my issue, I think. I'd like to use a ship that's maneuverable, seeing as how we're going to get in a few scraps.

Plus, you've seen what happens when we get a lot of people in on a Star Wars RP -_-

Fair enough.

Though I still think the Firespray is waaaaay to small. Unless everyone is up to have their character sleep sitting on the lounge seats and have zero privacy.

The firespray actually has personal rooms (converted cells) it just lacks spare space byond that. No matter what we chose I'd still like to have my own ship. Hell I don't see a issue with us having a few ships, maybe one 'main' ship and a few 'escorts'

The Wayfarer is then the way to go. It can dock 2 x wings or even 4 or so A Wings

I was more thinking a full attack wing. 2 transports and 4 fighters. and if we're playing with fighers, I'm using one of my converted vehicles from the modern era. because scifi Apache gunship helicopter as a space fighter.

There's always a good'ol T3 as well, but it is kind of a generic 'Star Wars' ship. That being said, having something familiar isn't bad at all, but I think I'll ultimately put it to a vote.

I'll post images and add links to the Wookiepedia page below this so people can see what the ships are like, then we'll let the group decide.

If we did different ships for people on the same side, @EddiEddi, then that might get a bit confusing. Besides, there's always interaction on the main ship, so having two separate ones for the heroes would leave the person/people in the other ship more or less out of the loop (I'm ignoring the fact that holograms exist for now because that would get a bit too nit-picky)

If it exists in Star Wars, by all means. Otherwise, that might be a bit confusing for continuity. But again, these are all things we should clear up before the OoC.

Also, @Shayla, I'll send you a PM later to talk about your villain characters.

there are lots and lots of custom ships, I'll just make one. and draw up stats. our twilek has a warthog in our D&D game.

Isn't the Warthog from Halo?

Alright , that sounds good by me.

Holograms is basically just a phone call. It is always better to interact with someone face to face.

Hence why I didn't bring that up.

allow me to introduce the
1-10c Thunderbolt. also known as the warthog.

I'd keep it within the realm of SW lore, otherwise I could pull say the FALKEN from Ace Combat 5 and zero because it's a closed cockpit with a 360 degree camera view, and just change it so it could fly in space and have armaments similar to say a TIE-defender or interceptor

well thats the point. there are weapons that match what it has in the SW lore, so its a pretty fair conversion. its also a matter of lore vs fun. I can understand not having a SR-71 blackbird (because the acceleration would kill you). but then again, I could just work on another in cannon idea I had.

True, but playing within the canon can also be fun.

I think we'll try to stick to the stuff given to us from the Star Wars universe just for the sake of continuity. Otherwise, it might not make for an 'easy' transition. Plus, there's so much content given to us anyways that we shouldn't have to add in real-life elements and give it a fandom-twist.

We are! You'll be the cut-off, actually.

As of now, sign ups for this RP are closed.

Once we have the ship details figured out, I'll post the OoC. I'm going to add the details in a second, just gathering them all.
