"Possibly. I wouldn't jump to conclusions yet, it's...odd. The use of a disguise and poison would suggest a professional killer at work. Accidents and all, as the usual excuse goes. Blaming the death on health failures, heart attacks and the like. But then, just leaving the clothes and the murder weapon barely hidden? That suggests an amateur. A pro would have burned the clothes, probably dump the poison into a toilet. No clues at all to find...unless. He/she is toying with the lot of us. If so...big mistake."

Morgan took notice of the box and instinctively reached for his sword. Though remembering why it wasn't there he decided to assume that there was just a kitten inside and moved to lift it.

"Ah, that's probably why I didn't see you for so long..." he said with a chuckle. He wasn't too bothered by K-Sha's behavior since he knew quite a few strange people himself.

It was lit by a single fireplace, and numerous candles everywhere. Moreover, the place was less a singular room and more three connecting rooms- Perhaps increased by knocking down the walls? At any rate, it was clear why its title had been the Trophy Room. A bearskin rug and two armchairs with a table before the fire reflected dully in its glass eyes, as it did in the eyes of all other trophies around them. Taxidermist work, of great apes, elephant heads, lions, wolves, snakes and birds- Almost every predator and almost every game beast, the greatest of the lot being some twisted and slavering man-thing.

A werewolf.

Snarling and in an upper pose, as though it would have leaped from its pedestal and tear out the throat of the viewer. The nauseating smell of old blood and dust mingled and added to the suddenly oppressive atmosphere.

The taxidermied attempt at a "were-wolf" towered over Wilson. It was absolutely repulsive ... what kind of sick person would play God with, dear Lord, an actual human corpse and a dead wolf? The poor chap's face was frozen in a snarl, probably having been twisted that way by whatever "scientist" created it. Wilson had experienced his fair share of dead animals, sure, but combining those dead animals with a human? That seriously, deeply went against all morals.​

Not to mention faking a specimen like a "were-wolf" was an insult to scientists everywhere.​

​

Still... the awful thing was the most striking piece of the room, and perhaps held clues.​

"Mr. Hibiki... perhaps you would like to check for clues around the ... the, uh, the wolf-man?" Wilson asked. Mr. Hibiki probably had a stronger stomach than him. "I'll check all the other animals, if you like."​

Taking in a deep breath, Angela gave herself a quick pep talk while she recollected herself, "Don't fear the magic you practice...make it fear you..." she murmured. Adjusting her hat and sitting up straight on her broom, Angela listened to what the two girls had to say, and was honestly a little disappointed. Well, one of them anyway. The other seemed to be withholding some info. Scooting up closer beside Utsuru, the witch narrowed her eyes and took glances between the girl and where she was looking, "Say...you look quite observant. Has anything strange happened at the refreshments? Surely there's a reason you refuse to take anything from it."

She still seemed to be looking at the refreshment table, where a row of cups were neatly lined up, minus a few missing drinks.

Yuzu appeared to be saying something all of a sudden, but the rest became a blur... Oddly enough, was it just her tiredness, or something else at work?

Round 2 - Cutting Corners

All throughout the mansion, everyone's visions seemed to fade, and their senses left them... There was a brief moment of silence, before Spooky's image appeared in everyone's minds once more, looks like she had something else to say, though she took a good glance at her wrist, as if she had a watch there (which she did not) before she spoke.

"Oh! Would you look at the time! Hmm... What to do... Oh! I know! When you wake up, I'll each of the suspects to this murder be in the other bedrooms! Find out what you can, and submit a vote for who you think did it! At the end of the day, I'll tally together the votes, and if the killer got the most votes... You win! I'll let you go home!" She said, though her expression fell a little.

"Mmmh, I shoulda started this thing earlier... So little time, so much I wanted to do..." She mumbled to herself.

Then, she was gone, and everyone's senses slowly returned to the,.

It was hard to tell how much time had passed, but all the same, everyone woke up in an individual bedroom (duos fortunately ended up in the same room as one another). At first, it was a little hard to tell where their location was, but the feeling of soft, velvety sheets and a distinct smell of mahogany seemed to give away where they were.

Other than the maps in their hands, everyone would notice something else too, a case "file" of sorts with compiled notes on each and every one of the suspects, as well as a brief recap on the case itself.

It was noted that all the bedroom doors are now hanging open, and peering outside, one could spot the dark, gloomy bedroom halls once more, only this time, there were signs on certain doors, indicating where the murder suspects were housed.

The First room of n ote was a particularly large bedroom that according to the sign on the side, contained Mishiro, Yuzu, Ayato, and Utsuro.

The Second was a moderate sized bedroom, which was where Ib, Mary, and Gary were staying.

Lastly, there was a small sized bedroom, where Blue resided.

It is probably optimal to start questioning the NPC's, as they probably had more to share than they had left off with.

On the other hand, one could also try exploring the mansion if they were feeling venturous... But beware, there was a more ominous air about the areas outside of the bedrooms now, and there was the chance things might not be entirely the same.

All in all, people are advised to vote for who they suspect the killer is ICly, they will be tallied by the final round, which will happen around October 31st to November 1 OOC wise, so be mindfull to submit a final vote then! Changing votes is allowed until that point, and remember, duos use up one vote per pair.

Valerie woke up in the confines of a soft, plush bed. For a moment, she believed that she may have been back home, safe in her own bed. Unfortunately, she hadn't yet woken from this nightmare.

She climbs out of bed and takes a look at the piece of paper that sits in her other hand. Reading over the bios, she notices something interesting: the fact that "Blue" didn't have a photograph. The name Blue called out to her as well.

She remembered in the investigation of the bedrooms that there was a jacket which had been disposed of. As a lady of fashion, she assumed that if the jacket is related to the crime, then the culprit can't be one of the girls, as their frames would not suit the jacket and cap at all. From the paper's description of Blue, however, Valerie felt as if the style choices of the murderer and Blue match up quite nicely. Valerie headed to the small bedroom in which Blue was currently held. She wanted to make sure the proportions matched up as well.

Entering the small bedroom, Valerie gave a small, polite bow to Blue. If her assumptions were wrong, she did not wish to be rude to her fellow, innocent guest. She spoke to him, "Greetings I believe your name is Blue? Mister Blue, I am Valerie, and I would like to ask you a couple questions. Firstly, can you account for your actions before the main guests arrived at the mansion?"

Valerie summons her Sylveon to her side in case Blue becomes hostile.

"Well Princess..." Nikkari replied getting up from his bed. "I believe there is a murder to be solved. Care to follow me to meet with the others?"

She nodded and as Nikkari left the room, she would follow.

"Sort of... I couldn't catch the whole thing... But... She did." Utsuro said quietly.

She pointed towards that blonde haired girl that she had been starting intently at before.

She still seemed to be looking at the refreshment table, where a row of cups were neatly lined up, minus a few missing drinks.

Yuzu appeared to be saying something all of a sudden, but the rest became a blur... Oddly enough, was it just her tiredness, or something else at work?

Round 2 - Cutting Corners

All throughout the mansion, everyone's visions seemed to fade, and their senses left them... There was a brief moment of silence, before Spooky's image appeared in everyone's minds once more, looks like she had something else to say, though she took a good glance at her wrist, as if she had a watch there (which she did not) before she spoke.

"Oh! Would you look at the time! Hmm... What to do... Oh! I know! When you wake up, I'll each of the suspects to this murder be in the other bedrooms! Find out what you can, and submit a vote for who you think did it! At the end of the day, I'll tally together the votes, and if the killer got the most votes... You win! I'll let you go home!" She said, though her expression fell a little.

"Mmmh, I shoulda started this thing earlier... So little time, so much I wanted to do..." She mumbled to herself.

Then, she was gone, and everyone's senses slowly returned to the,.

It was hard to tell how much time had passed, but all the same, everyone woke up in an individual bedroom (duos fortunately ended up in the same room as one another). At first, it was a little hard to tell where their location was, but the feeling of soft, velvety sheets and a distinct smell of mahogany seemed to give away where they were.

Other than the maps in their hands, everyone would notice something else too, a case "file" of sorts with compiled notes on each and every one of the suspects, as well as a brief recap on the case itself.

It was noted that all the bedroom doors are now hanging open, and peering outside, one could spot the dark, gloomy bedroom halls once more, only this time, there were signs on certain doors, indicating where the murder suspects were housed.

The First room of n ote was a particularly large bedroom that according to the sign on the side, contained Mishiro, Yuzu, Ayato, and Utsuro.

The Second was a moderate sized bedroom, which was where Ib, Mary, and Gary were staying.

Lastly, there was a small sized bedroom, where Blue resided.

It is probably optimal to start questioning the NPC's, as they probably had more to share than they had left off with.

On the other hand, one could also try exploring the mansion if they were feeling venturous... But beware, there was a more ominous air about the areas outside of the bedrooms now, and there was the chance things might not be entirely the same.

All in all, people are advised to vote for who they suspect the killer is ICly, they will be tallied by the final round, which will happen around October 31st to November 1 OOC wise, so be mindfull to submit a final vote then! Changing votes is allowed until that point, and remember, duos use up one vote per pair.

Alice woke up, not only giving the vision (or was it a dream) some thought, but also wondering in her mind how long it had been since she actually slept... and where the little friend she made her, Scrappy, might be. She just hoped he was okay, and that they would run into each other at some point.

But she had a purpose now. The vampire quickly went towards the large bedroom. Once there, she asked a simple question of them; Mishiro, Yuzu, Ayato, and Utsuro. "All of you, please tell me what you were doing around the time that the girl Poniko was murdered", she said. "and consider this not just an investigation into your possible guilt, but a means by which to prove your innocence and good will. I want to believe you are all innocent."

It was very direct, but in her usual manner, as polite as possible.

"And do not think of lying to me," she added, "vampires have ways of perceiving the many ways of the lie."

[Ringmaster]

The Black Knight stepped out of his room, and sensed a change in the air. It was a subtle thing, like noticing if a picture was tilted, or the presence of garlic where garlic shouldn't be. Or the running of a nail down a chalkboard, grating and unreal. It was an eerie feeling and the Black Knight had lived long enough not to disregard it. To those around the body and questioning the people, he avoided...Rather, he left to seek out the rest of the house and he didn't do it, unobserved.

Leon Kennedy had likewise seen him ditch the others and he was a little suspicious.

But as a cop, he felt he should go back to the current events and would cross his arms and frown at the line of suspects....One of them was a murderer, that much was clear. The only question....Was why? So he'd take out a pencil and a notepad from his bedroom desk he thought would prove useful when he woke up, before speaking to the suspects as a whole.

"Did any of you know the deceased prior and if so, could you raise your hand please?"

Valerie woke up in the confines of a soft, plush bed. For a moment, she believed that she may have been back home, safe in her own bed. Unfortunately, she hadn't yet woken from this nightmare.

She climbs out of bed and takes a look at the piece of paper that sits in her other hand. Reading over the bios, she notices something interesting: the fact that "Blue" didn't have a photograph. The name Blue called out to her as well.

She remembered in the investigation of the bedrooms that there was a jacket which had been disposed of. As a lady of fashion, she assumed that if the jacket is related to the crime, then the culprit can't be one of the girls, as their frames would not suit the jacket and cap at all. From the paper's description of Blue, however, Valerie felt as if the style choices of the murderer and Blue match up quite nicely. Valerie headed to the small bedroom in which Blue was currently held. She wanted to make sure the proportions matched up as well.

Entering the small bedroom, Valerie gave a small, polite bow to Blue. If her assumptions were wrong, she did not wish to be rude to her fellow, innocent guest. She spoke to him, "Greetings I believe your name is Blue? Mister Blue, I am Valerie, and I would like to ask you a couple questions. Firstly, can you account for your actions before the main guests arrived at the mansion?"

Valerie summons her Sylveon to her side in case Blue becomes hostile.

#Small Bedroom

Blue was sitting on the bed, apparently having been brooding when Valeriw walked in on him.

He looked up, not seeming to say anything in response to the slew of questions thrown his way, before he finally spoke after a few moments.

"I was standing on the catwalk, overlooking a ballroom window. Had a few drinks in me, but I was trying to figure this place out." He muttered.

For the most part, his answer was straight forward, but it looks like Valerie might have to be more specific with her questions if she were to want specific answers.

The group of four looked from one to another, but eventially, Mishiro was the one to speak first.

"I was just in the ballroom, but I got a little dizzy, and I wasn't paying alot of attention to the room." She said quietly.

She didn't seem particularly fond of, or able to recall much more, but fortunately Ayato stepped in, a bit too enthusiastic for one's liking when he began to talk.

"Miss Mishiro doesn't like to talk about her problems with crowds. We were planning to head to the bedrooms to get some peace. My attention was not on Poniko when she walked out." He explained.

Hmm, that seemed to answer things a little too well, but at least his confidence inspired Yuzu to speak up next.

"Like I said before. I was too focused on trying to feed Utsuro-san. She hasn't eaten since we arrived here, but when I did catch a peek at the refreshment tables, I didn't see anyone tampering with them..." She said quietly.

It appeared that Yuzu was thinking about this further, since her mind had been focused somewhere else at the time, she was having more trouble recalling everything. However, this was still more usefull than both Ayato and Mishiro's answers, but before anything else could be done, Utsuro spoke up abruptly.

"That blonde girl... Mary, told me she saw someone weird around the refreshments before you lot showed up." She said bluntly.

"Other than that. I spent most of my time in my ballroom being nagged by Yuzu." She added, lowering her voice a little so Yuzu wouldn't hear her.

Though she didn't seem to be a fan of Yuzu's nagging and all, it appeared that she didn't dislike her strange companion's company either...

"I'd like to know what all of you were doing before the death of Poniko. As well as if anything odd may have been spotted beforehand." he said as he entered the room.

Alice did not detect any signs of lying from any of those in the big bedroom. They seemed to speak candidly, and the last one, Utsuro, seemed to reveal another clue. "Thank you for your honest answers, I greatly appreciate your help", she said to them, before disappearing in a flash, as only a vampire of the Cullen family could, and went straight into the small bedroom where Mary was.

Alice noticed someone else already there, along with the other people she expected to find there, but she went immediately to question the person of interest in her mind, Mary. "What weird thing did you see around the refreshments?", she asked Mary.

One second Kana was peering over Mirei looking at the flashing lights with mild interest, the next her vision had blurred and faded away, much to her surprise and panic.

"Ghosty...?" she echoed as Spooky made an appearance... in her head. Her voice seemedt to fill her mind, but it wasn't uncomfortable. An out of body experience... the dragon-girl tried to rub her head. "Wait. Huh?!" Did she hear wrong? Did she say murder? Was she so occupied with those arcade machines that she didn't notice someone had died? This was just like... Rapture all over again! She had to help find out who it was, she wasn't going to let a bad person like the murderer on the loose - not with all her friends here!

She didn't know how long she was in darkness for, but when she woke up, Kana found herself sitting in a comfortable bed in a room that reminded her of the bedchambers of Nohr. It looked just like the room her Mama slept in when she was younger! It was almost like if she looked outside, she just might see Leo walk around the corner to the library or see Xander get ready for practice...

Of course, that was far from the truth.

She looked at the map in her hand with confusion written plainly on her face, then at the file in her other. Flipping through the pages, she found herself understanding the language of the letters - surprisingly - and quickly took in the information for such a catastrophic event. Poisoned to death? They drank something laced with it...? ... Well, Yuzu and Mary looked the most suspicious. And Blue... who didn't even have a picture!

Getting up from the bed and taking the papers with her, she peered out the door and frowned at the gloomy hallway, which looked so different from the lavish bedrooms they were sleeping in.

Kana ran down the halls, looking through each door to find the girl that matched the picture of Mary... she wanted to get a good look at her - or listen to her answer the questions of others. It looked like some were already up.

"Oh! Morgan!" she recognized a figure as she skidded to a halt. "Are you okay? Did anything happen to you?"

One second Kana was peering over Mirei looking at the flashing lights with mild interest, the next her vision had blurred and faded away, much to her surprise and panic.

"Ghosty...?" she echoed as Spooky made an appearance... in her head. Her voice seemedt to fill her mind, but it wasn't uncomfortable. An out of body experience... the dragon-girl tried to rub her head. "Wait. Huh?!" Did she hear wrong? Did she say murder? Was she so occupied with those arcade machines that she didn't notice someone had died? This was just like... Rapture all over again! She had to help find out who it was, she wasn't going to let a bad person like the murderer on the loose - not with all her friends here!

She didn't know how long she was in darkness for, but when she woke up, Kana found herself sitting in a comfortable bed in a room that reminded her of the bedchambers of Nohr. It looked just like the room her Mama slept in when she was younger! It was almost like if she looked outside, she just might see Leo walk around the corner to the library or see Xander get ready for practice...

Of course, that was far from the truth.

She looked at the map in her hand with confusion written plainly on her face, then at the file in her other. Flipping through the pages, she found herself understanding the language of the letters - surprisingly - and quickly took in the information for such a catastrophic event. Poisoned to death? They drank something laced with it...? ... Well, Yuzu and Mary looked the most suspicious. And Blue... who didn't even have a picture!

"Oh, hello again. Kana, was it?" Morgan responded, his tone becoming cheerful quickly.

"I'm fine. I hope you're okay too." he added in a friendly manner.

"Sort of... I couldn't catch the whole thing... But... She did." Utsuro said quietly.

She pointed towards that blonde haired girl that she had been starting intently at before.

She still seemed to be looking at the refreshment table, where a row of cups were neatly lined up, minus a few missing drinks.

Yuzu appeared to be saying something all of a sudden, but the rest became a blur... Oddly enough, was it just her tiredness, or something else at work?

Round 2 - Cutting Corners

All throughout the mansion, everyone's visions seemed to fade, and their senses left them... There was a brief moment of silence, before Spooky's image appeared in everyone's minds once more, looks like she had something else to say, though she took a good glance at her wrist, as if she had a watch there (which she did not) before she spoke.

"Oh! Would you look at the time! Hmm... What to do... Oh! I know! When you wake up, I'll each of the suspects to this murder be in the other bedrooms! Find out what you can, and submit a vote for who you think did it! At the end of the day, I'll tally together the votes, and if the killer got the most votes... You win! I'll let you go home!" She said, though her expression fell a little.

"Mmmh, I shoulda started this thing earlier... So little time, so much I wanted to do..." She mumbled to herself.

Then, she was gone, and everyone's senses slowly returned to the,.

It was hard to tell how much time had passed, but all the same, everyone woke up in an individual bedroom (duos fortunately ended up in the same room as one another). At first, it was a little hard to tell where their location was, but the feeling of soft, velvety sheets and a distinct smell of mahogany seemed to give away where they were.

Other than the maps in their hands, everyone would notice something else too, a case "file" of sorts with compiled notes on each and every one of the suspects, as well as a brief recap on the case itself.

It was noted that all the bedroom doors are now hanging open, and peering outside, one could spot the dark, gloomy bedroom halls once more, only this time, there were signs on certain doors, indicating where the murder suspects were housed.

The First room of n ote was a particularly large bedroom that according to the sign on the side, contained Mishiro, Yuzu, Ayato, and Utsuro.

The Second was a moderate sized bedroom, which was where Ib, Mary, and Gary were staying.

Lastly, there was a small sized bedroom, where Blue resided.

It is probably optimal to start questioning the NPC's, as they probably had more to share than they had left off with.

On the other hand, one could also try exploring the mansion if they were feeling venturous... But beware, there was a more ominous air about the areas outside of the bedrooms now, and there was the chance things might not be entirely the same.

All in all, people are advised to vote for who they suspect the killer is ICly, they will be tallied by the final round, which will happen around October 31st to November 1 OOC wise, so be mindfull to submit a final vote then! Changing votes is allowed until that point, and remember, duos use up one vote per pair.

Immediately after waking up from her second blackout, Angela rushed to the average-sized bedroom to find this "Mary" girl Utsuru told her about, but not before calling out the Pyro's name to see if they'd tag along. The more misfits, the merrier.

Vector

After blacking out, Vector thought that a pathogen of sorts had got past his suit, but when he awoke, not seeing everything in a certain haze, or having that dead feeling. He gave a sign of relief. Though, how he passed out was something he couldn't figure out.

And things he couldn't figure out annoyed him.

And rather than get angry, he simply got up and walked to the hallway. When he spotted Leon heading into a room. At first, Vector didn't want to follow, afterall. The former cop could handle himself.

But, Vector soon thought of a disastrous idea. What if there was more than one killer? Or perhaps this killer was skilled enough to take on a cop.

Losing someone who could possibly easily figure out this crime would be absolutely bad for everyone. Not to mention, Vector was hoping when this was all over. Him and the cop could spar. To see if Leon could live up to his legend. But, not to the death. As what if they were both equally skilled enough that they ended dying because of the other's attacks. Which would be redundant, as there would be victor.

So, he joined Leon in the room, standing aside. Just incase.

Pyro

As Pyro blacked out. His dreams were filled with the usual. A weird magical land filled with candy, baby versions of the RED team, and whatnot. Every so often switching to a scene of gore with lots fire.

But, alas he woke up. Very groggy, he stretched out his arms. Cracking a few bones and yawning. He didn't expect to wake up in a rather nice [and possible flammable] bed. And not in the RED barracks.

As he got out of bed. He heard Angela calling his name. And rather than keeping her waiting. He picked up his toy unicorn and took off. Joining Angela in the Average sized bedroom. He said something along the lines of "Good morning."

Scooby wanted to talk with the blue man. He was a suspect. He went into the room and asked Blue a question. " Rlue, rere rour rear rhe rinks?"

While waiting for Mary to answer her question, Alice noticed Scrappy join them, as did others she didn't know. She felt relief to see her friend in good shape. "It's good to see you, Scrappy," she said to him, "I'm not used to being here without you. Truly, you've become something of a best friend."

She then turned her attention back to Mary. "Please answer the question. What did you see at the refreshment area?" She was focused on getting this answer as it may provide a significant clue as to who was guilty of killing the girl.
