This RP is based on the great movie known as Splinter. If you've never seen it, and don't mind gore, then give it a watch, you may like it.
Now, the for the setting.
Present day, Oklahoma. You've heard on the news that there was an accident at a small gas station. They have found a fugitive of the law, and he was found dead, caught in the explosion, along with others who were murdered. There's a belief that the criminal murdered them, one of them also being a police officer, who is currently missing.
Two survivors were found. They are unharmed, save for one having a headache. They were rambling that there was a monster, a thing that infected and took possession of people it came in contact with. They are currently under good care, hopefully they'll be okay after some therapy. A hostage situation can be quite stressful.
Anyways, you're going out on a school trip to some stupid camp out in the middle of nowhere. Well better than schoolwork you think. Well, other than boring, moronic trip, what else could go wrong? The bus is here! Time to head out.
