Now, let's suppose you were apart of a present-day United Nations sanctioned organization for espionage and special operations. Your agents are some of the most well trained when it comes to international affairs and maintaining global peace between nations. The scientists are some of the world's foremost geniuses, not breaking a sweat in their research projects.
Now let's imagine these people were thrown up against issues they never even expected to come with the job. The scientists are now faced with concepts and ideas once thought to belong in b-movies. Against enemies stronger and at first glance, superior. And yet, these people remain as humanity's greatest, only defense against the unknown.
Think the styles and visuals of 50's Sci Fi/Horror B-Movies and the tropes 60's Spy Flicks. Death rays, giant monsters, aliens and beyond but with a somewhat modern-ish world sprinkled with a hint of retro-futurism. (Like the world of the Fallout games before the nuclear war.) An episodic series that will tackle new threats each episode-- and occasionally, story arcs that last for two or more episodes.
