The thing with characters like Justin Law is that they aren't students. You'll notice that characters like Soul can transform partially, but they rarely do and when they do they are very much so limited in both their power and their skill set. Yes, a weapon is inherently dangerous in that they turn into a deadly weapon, but that's the point and key of the meisters and why their connection is so important. I may have read too much into what I have seen so far in the show, but regardless, I would rather your weapon character be rather limited when alone.

To summize, weapons that are students are mostly unable to do very much alone (notice that Tsubaki almost never fights alone, and same with Patty or Liz when they don't have one another to act as a meister). If you would like to play a teacher, or a Death Sythe, then you're welcome to make a stronger weapon.

While we are on the topic, this should work both ways. A meister can't take down an opponent without a weapon in most cases. Dr. Stein is not normal.

Skills: Very adaptable to different situations in both personalities. In his positive personality, he is able to hit an enemy with more power when used. In his negative personality, he is able to almost calculate movement and counteract it.
Weaknesses: Practically unstable and difficult to wield. Also may switch between both personalities and Weapon forms at random or at will, which either can detriment his Meister.
Personality/Bio: Arnaud has split personalities, making him practically unstable. it also makes it hard for Arnaud to retain friendships and bonds. His first personality is that of a sweet individual that puts anything else before himself, especially his Meister. In this personality, Arnaud can be playful when not protecting someone, and will even hug his Meister in public with a warm smile.
His second personality is cold and calculating, with a mental twitch and pragmatic streak. In this personality, Arnaud is more solitary and silent, sometimes talking to himself, usually on topics like how good blood tastes or how he wonders Death City would look like if it were decorated with corpses and bodily organs strewn about like festive decor. In this personality, he will not hesitate to harm someone if he really wants to harm someone, and he will often play with knives if he finds them. This personality is the rarer of the two. With being around friends, and a lot of medicine, he's usually able to keep his positive personality.

Being trained by many teachers in private, Duel had adapted to a mixture of fighting skills and ways to manipulate her human souls wavelength. When she is calm, her physical appearance is normal like a humans, (as shown above) But when overcome with too much emotion or if she allows her kishin soul to be released during a fight, her physical appearance changes(As show below). Her kishin side knows no limit to physical strength or stamina, usually being the stronger of the two sides as well as the faster, and will often go all out in fights and even becoming sadistic and cruel till she either passes out from exhaustion or has won while her human side knows its limits and doesn't push beyond them unless necessary. She is also very skilled in seeing other peoples souls and channeling her soul wavelength into electricity. Duel had also mastered how to play several musical instruments as ways to calm herself down and ease her soul. Unrelated to fighting skills at all, but on days when she is allowed to roam the city, she is often found spray painting graffiti on walls. She had even began going by the street name Bad Wolf for her street art.
Weakness:
She was for a long time classified as a kishin just waiting to happen. Now that she is in control more, she can be unstable and her wavelength is random and energetic which makes it difficult for her to find a partner who can match wavelengths with her without tiring out, getting zapped by her soul, or being overcome by madness. Whenever overcome with too much emotion her kishin soul takes over so she often secludes herself from others to prevent such events from happening.
Personality/Bio:
Duel's name quite literally describes who she is. In her body, she harbors two souls. As a child, she was abandoned by her parents and left on the streets. Starving, she was unexpectedly taken in by a witch. At first she thought she would gain a happy childhood she had always hoped for, but instead she endured years of experiments and torture. She can't remember most of her childhood, but she has scars scattered throughout her body as proof of the torture she went through. That, and during an experiment she was given the soul of a kishin. Around the age of 13 she managed to escape the witches home and was found by teachers at the DWMA. At first they thought she was a kishin, and attempted to destroy her but after passing out from exhaustion her human soul took over her body. The school spent tome training Duel to contain her emotions and calm herself so her kishin soul won't take over her body. She was allowed to attend school, but she was often separated from the other students till she could keep her second soul at bay. Currently, this is the first year she was allowed to have a weapon partner and participate in the normal schooling the other students receive at the school.

As for how holding two souls in her body effect her personality, she is usually a cheerful and happy girl, although shy and quiet at times. She doesn't like to stand out much, even though she already does due to how she had to be escorted around hallways in the past and wasn't allowed much interaction with others till she could control herself and wouldn't dare tell people about her special soul without being able to trust them, which happens to be hard for her to do since in the past she wasn't able to trust much. But when her kishin soul is released she is loud and crazed, wanting to destroy anything and everything in her path. It often does random and outrageous things. It takes a lot out of her to contain her kishin soul in stressful situations and often tries to avoid anything that will fill her with too much emotion so her kishin side won't slip out.

Do you plan on having a weapon or no? Since you have meister abilities you can, but you are also a witch so if you make your character new to the school (like a week or so) then you don't need to have a weapon, but you won't be able to get a weapon later on most likely.

Okie dokie guys, I know I was offline for a bit when it came to this role play but I'm back and ready to get it going. (Hopefully real life will stay away... Much less cool! xD) You've probably noticed that I haven't put in any character sheets, that's because I'm going to be playing all of the people that your people interact with. All of the teachers, all of the enemies, etc. I will put up character sheets for all of that when I set up the IC, though, for anyone who hasn't seen the show.

Shes been at the academy most of her life. I can have her take a weapon if you want. Or even better I can change it so she is a weapon and witch hybrid. So I don't have to worry about it.

Do you want Delynnaria to take a weapon or would you rather have me change to be actually be a Hybrid Weapon instead of a Meister Witch Hybrid. I think having her being a Weapon/Witch is the best as she doesn't need a partner then.

It's up to you, but as I said before, a weapon cannot work alone. Since you're also a witch, in an effort to prevent an OP character, your weapon character would not be able to do almost anything without a meister. As a witch, your character would probably have a hard time finding a partner so it's possible that even though you've been at DWMA for years you wouldn't have a partner.

Ill just make her a sanctioned witch/Meister. She will use mostly her magic.
 
Sorry I didn't get a chance to reply. But no, I haven't found a partner and I would happily accept Valaric as my partner of you don't have a meister yet
