Cat turned her attention back to Charley as she closed her door, "That was just a little bit strange if you ask me." She said with a small laugh. She walked back to the kitchen putting the towel near the sink. She turned to him with one of her brilliant smiles, "You were about to show me your weapon form correct?"

Arnaud sighed and turned away from Mayumi, a low growl resonating from his throat. "If it gets you off of my ass, fine," he said, coldly, not acknowledging she did it out of kindness. Without another word, he walked towards the kitchenette and got a plate and fork, using a cake cutter to cut out a slice of it. He would take a seat on a bar stool and eat silently. It was a really delicious treat, and Arnaud enjoyed it, but he didn't express it. He just ate silently with an angry look on his face.

When he was finished, he put his plate and fork in the sink for Mayumi to clean. Obviously, he wasn't going to do it. "There. I ate a slice. Happy, now?," he called to her. Instead of going back to his room, he went to the bathroom and ran some water for a shower. He grumbled to himself as he did, which Mayumi may hear if she was close to the door. But, she wouldn't understand it, grumbling in Kiecym.

Mayumi watched him storm to the kitchen, relieved he was going to eat something and stood silently as he ate the food. Once he was done and had stormed off to the shower she released a small sigh. While she wouldn't complain it was hard to deal with Arnaud's constant aggression, she smiled while he was there but in moments like this she felt so upset that she just had to keep busy. She hoped that with Arnaud it wasn't personal, after all he treated everyone gruffly and if he truly despised her the way he seemed to he could easily have requested another partner but he didn't. Still, sometimes it was hard to look at things positively, she wasn't used to the level of aggression Arnaud had, at school it hadn't been so bad, lessons had calmed him down and it was only while playing at break times had she ever had to socialize with him. Now she had to live with him and be his partner, she wasn't even sure if they were compatible, while she trusted Sid Barrett's decision she did wonder if it was made solely because no one else would have been able to handle his personality When she started thinking like that it was hard to think that Arnaud didn't hate her, he'd probably wanted a partner more like Gil or Lucifer, strong and bold and courageous.

Despite herself she sobbed quietly as she made her way to the sink, brushing away the tears that fell from her eyes and trying to hold back the fear and self doubt she had. Arnaud would only yell if he saw her crying and she wasn't sure she could take anymore of it tonight. This was her first night away from the orphanage, everything was unfamiliar and scary to her already. Running the water for the washing up she allowed herself to cry quietly until the bubbles coated her hands and she had to turn off the water. She spent longer than she needed on the washing up, drying up the used crockery and putting everything away before collapsing the empty box and throwing it into the recycling bin.

After wiping down the sides she realised she'd lost her appetite, and retreated to her room with a glass of water instead, with the door shut and the lights switched on she grabbed her old stuffed teddy and sat on the floor with it pulled against her chest.

Gil and Lucifer were walking home when Gil's phone rang. It was High Command. Local disturbance. Two casualties confirmed. Go now. Gil looked across to Lucifer and said "45 Felth Street. Two down, probably single target" He broke into a jog and leapt, transforming in mid air and latching onto Lucifer, running through his boot up phases. "Phase One: Locomotive support functioning. Phase Two: Soul Amplification Level One online. Navigation Mode engaged. Suggested route calculated, take the next right"

Lucifer was walking along, until he was interrupted by Gil. Who suddenly latched onto his body. "You should really ask before you do that next time" Lucifer warned him. As he heard the directions he began to move, he was a lot faster than usual. Taking the next right he dashed down the street, avoiding any other people in the way. He jumped up along the building edge to make it easier for him.

After taking a few more turns eventually the got to 45 Felth Street. "Where is he" Lucifer asked as he looked around, not able to locate the target.

Gil slid the visor down over Lucifer's eyes. "See the red soul? That's the corrupt one" he explained "Head towards it. Br careful, this ones pretty stroandby the looks of it. I'm increasing Soul Amplification to 5 times." He said, channeling Lucifer's energy around. They really had to improve their resonance rate, because at this point he was doing all the work. If Lucifer could be taught how to resonate on his own than that would treble-no quadruple their power. Gil chuckled. "Funny. It's more like you're the weapon and I'm the meister" he said

"Shut up you lousy piece of junk" Lucifer snapped, as he closed in on the target. He felt his body pulsate with energy as his soul wavelength grow even stronger. He already had a larger soul wavelength than others, but thanks to Gil's weapon form his soul could grow even stronger. He flipped the visor out of his eyes, he knew which one the target was now so he didn't really need it on.

To be honest he didn't really like using weapons. He wasn't really a team player, even if it was only one other person. But he did understand that he had to have at least one partner in the school. It confused him how people could use even more than one weapon.

Lucifer began to hope up and down on the floor. He adopted a lose fighting stance. He had been in fights ever since he was young, and after some time began to teach himself. After all he was failing in pretty much every subject. So combat was the only thing he was good for. He breathed out loudly focusing on his target. The moment his feet touched the floor he disappeared, closing the gap between him and the enemy in a matter of seconds. It was one of Lucifer's favorite techniques to use. He then drove his fist into the face of the target, rotating his body he added more force to the punch. Causing the target to fly into a wall.

Charley snapped out of his day dreaming Yes I was. Sorry I was just day dreaming about something Charley walked over to cat and grabbed her arm Here we go. He said as he changed into his weapon form. when Charley turned into his weapon form there was a metal chain wrapped around Cat's arm ,all the way to her wrist, and a long black sword in her hand. So what do you think?

Cat smiled and brought her arm up examining the blade closer, "You are bloody brilliant. They paired us up perfectly. I wield a sword better then I can typically wield anything else." She extended her arm and did some swinging moves in the open area swinging him around. Cat examined the chain, "it's a cool design, I can't really ever lose you. This chain I mean." She smiled then closed her eyes, "Our wavelengths match perfectly. I can imagine how our soul resonance is going to be." She smiled opening her eyes then nodded, "You can change back now."

Charley changed back into his human form. When he changed back his stretched So Cat what do you feel like doing now? Charley said as he walked over to the table and took a seat.

Arnaud took a short shower to clean himself for the night. As he was in the shower, he thought to himself. He didn't know why he was like this. No one did. Multiple doctors have given different diagnoses of why it was, from an explosive disorder to mental retardation. Some in his family have thought that he is possessed by the spirit of anger, a new incarnate. Whatever it was, Arnaud wanted it to go away. Well, a part of him did. There's a half of him that wants to change, but there's also the other half that enjoys always being angry, feels comfortable in it, thrives in it.

Arnaud didn't need to hear or to see it to know that Mayumi was crying. This hurt his half that wanted to change, but made the other revel in it. He stopped outside of her door, wanting to say something to her. He wanted to apologize. But, he couldn't. He wanted to, but he also didn't. Part of him wanted Mayumi to hurt. He left without saying anything.

Arnaud would change into clothing more suitable for sleep. While his robed vestments were symbolic and he wore them any other time, he wore clothes that were more traditional when not, such as a modern t-shirt and shorts. Arnaud didn't really care for modern clothing. He felt closer to Cymrael, the name of his god, in his robed vestments. It may even comfort him.

Mayumi toyed with the limbs of the fluffy stuffed toy, it would perhaps be a mocking point if people found out about it but she honestly didn't care. The little teddy had been gifted to her when she'd first arrived at the orphanage, something meant to ease her transition into the place no doubt. She had named it Merah and it had seen her through so many things, she'd lost count of how often she'd cried on its little fluffy belly. From fears of the dark and monsters under the bed, to the first time it was pointed out to her that she wasn't like other kids because she didn't have parents. When they'd taken Stefan away without warning and when she was the only person not to be invited to a birthday party because the kids all thought she was a Witch. This little bear knew more of her secrets, fears and hopes than any person alive and seen her at her worst and her best and while realistically speaking she should have given him up already it was that reason she had kept him. He gave her a silent strength to carry on and try harder to become better and was a constant reminder to the family she did have at the orphanage.

Pressing a kiss on his forehead she put the stuffy back on the bed and stood up to stretch and close her curtains. Mayumi wasn't often upset for long, while people found that weird she thought it quite healthy, she was very open and honest with all her emotions and so she was able to cry out her fear, frustration and sadness and then get on with her day. Nothing would change if she sat there wallowing in it, the dark would still be there until the day came and Arnaud wasn't likely to change until someone showed him that he could. While she didn't doubt she'd end up crying again before the week was over she was motivated to carry on, she had the entire Orpahnage rooting for her which made her one of the luckiest girls in all of Death City. Who else could boast they had three mothers and 47 siblings?

With a rub at her face to remove any lingering evidence of her sadness she made busy around her room, finishing the unpacking she hadn't done earlier. Briefly she thought she sensed something, glancing to the curtains and briefly furrowing her brows. It was like something was happening. Shaking that thought off she returned to remaking her bed with her bed covers before she too finally decided to get ready for bed. She had a simple long shirt as her nightie and after clean her teeth and face she put her hair into a braid and slipped into bed with a book in hand, fully intending to read until she was tired enough to fall asleep.

(Back sorry for not being able to post for quite a long time)

Gil was slightly pissed off at Lucifer's comment. He knew that Lucifer wasn't fond of him, but he didn't think that Lucifer realised how dependent they were on each other. Lucifer, while strong, couldn't take on anything other than low A rank missions by himself, partially due to his inability to communicate with others. While it was true that Gil couldn't take missions by himself, his optimal partner was someone immensely skilled in hand-to-hand combat and soul wave control, like Lucifer. They complimented each other so well in combat, with Gil's monitoring and analysis skill covering Lucifer's low awareness. Yet he still didn't seem to appreciate him. Gil sighed and scanned the target.

"One individual, no transformed weapon or transformation potential detected, strong soul but no apparent means of channeling" Gil announced, skimming over the info. "Those arm blades might be used to fire soul wavelength so be careful. I'm matching our wavelengths to his to minimise damage via soul channeling. Best route of attack is probably frontal, aiming for chest with a strong blast of your wavelength. Go for internal damage, not physical. He has some form of physical conditioning that meant that he took practically no damage from that hit" He concluded, setting out to match their wavelengths to his. He could get them to around 70% accuracy, meaning that that much was just absorbed, not used offensively. "Soul Resonance: Mirror Protocol" He stated, tuning the up to the creatures. The creature was humanoid but bloated and hunched, with long limbs. Not that it mattered, soon it would be dead, and it's soul would become another number in his system. They weren't really close, but their progress had been astounding. They had been at it for only around two months and already had 38 souls. He smiled a little. "Mirror Protocol complete" He said to Lucifer "Engage"

Cat shrugged as she walked back into the kitchen with a small yawn. She began putting away the left over food that she had made then washed those dishes. "We can always watch tv or go out into Death City to do some shopping for our place, the one thing my parents didn't send with me was towels for our bathroom." She put the dishes in the drying rack before returning to the table and sitting across from him. "We can always go ask our neighbors if they would like to go with us they are our classmates after all."

Lucifer grunted at the information given to him. After all he hated working with people. Since he had been alone most of his life, he had grown to his one man army view on things. He watched as the obese humanoid began to slowly get back up. Yet it was just going to go back down again.

He watched as it shot a blast of its wavelength. Lucifer dodged easily, appearing in front of the fat blob. He planted his hand on the things chest. Grinning he let out a blast of his energy. The blast didn't send the greater flying, but completely ruptured its inner organs.

As the humanoid dropped down, Lucifer followed up with a next relentless attack. He charged his fists with his soul wavelength and ripped into its body. The blood spilled out onto the street. This was the second thing about Lucifer. He had such a strong thirst for blood. He didn't just defeat his opponents he brutally killed them.

After a few minutes of punching. Nothing was left but a floating soul and the spilled blood. Lucifer breathed heavily as he grinned at the destroyed body. "target eliminated" he informed Gil

"Soul collected" Smiled Gil, leaning out of his weapon form to grab the soul. He took it in one hand, lifting it and swallowing it in one swift motion. As he swallowed it, he shuddered. This was one of the few things in life that could make him show genuine emotion. Souls were just... so delicous, so unique, so brilliantly imperfect and flawed... He opened his eyes again and jumped off Lucifer.

"Well we're at 39 souls now!" He said happily. "Let me text Kid and then we can get home" he said pulling out his phone.

(Sorry for jumping in so late! Dx)

With one hand pushing his hair to the side, Ayden Takeda stood in his new apartment which he was told to share with his partner, Christiana. He sighed softly as he stared at the maze of boxes and random utilities, a wave of laziness shooting up his spine. The sound of Death City calmly rolled into the windows with a welcoming howl that followed the breeze.

His hazel eyes glistened some in the light the windows provided as he glanced outside, the sight of the sky and its calm, humble puffs of white keeping him at bay. It was a big thing - moving to a whole new country for school, let alone being told to live with a stranger whose name he forgot. Of course, though, he couldn't let her know that - it'd be mean. He opened his mouth to call for Christiana, who he assumed was in the next room, "Hey, uh... I've got all the boxes inside!"

" Yeah sure" Lucifer sighed as he walked of slowly down the street. School was going to start the next day, so they would be meeting everyone in the entrance ceremony. He wasn't really looking forward to it. Since more people, meant more chance of working in groups.

Once they got home. He began to clear up the mess he had made in the kitchen. He washed and soaked the dishes and utensils he used to cook. "food is in the fridge" he called to Gil. "in going out back" he informed, as he slid open a door and stepped outside.

Out back was Lucifers personal training area. Since they had been working some time, they had both managed to get a fair amount of money.

Charley looked at the clock that was hanging above the stove. I think it's a little late to be shopping in death city. Maybe we should just watch T.v, and we can go shopping for all the things we need tomorrow. Charley stood up and walked over to the couch and sat down. Is that okay with you? Charley said as he grabbed the remote to turn on the T.v.

Gil stared up at the dark night sky from their houses's roof. He rarely slept for more than four hours at a time, suffering from night terrors that forced his body to reject the notion of restful sleep. It was about 12 o clock, most people would be getting to sleep by now he thought, lazily strolling back inside.
