Alexei Stukov | Meister | Front Lobby

Miss Baum's introduction was pleasant enough as he let his eyes relax half closed, obviously not intending to move anywhere. Not for the time being at any rate. She did eventually inquire about whether he was a Weapon or a Meister, and he responded easily enough, understanding the why behind the question. If they were both one, or the other, it might be wise to seek out an opposite weapon or meister, respectively. But if they were at odds, in regards to what they were, then things might actually work out for the better. He didn't quibble around nearly as much with avoiding being rude or impolite, if it came up or happened to be that way on accident, someone would point it out. It was that simple, really. "I would be a Meister, and yourself?"

Izuru ...
Shibusen Demon Weapon | Front Lobby

Izuru paid no need to how she worded, said, and looked with her sentence. He was more interested that he didn't have to wait a few days just to crusade for another partner. He would expect people to just avoid him, but he was surrounded by a couple people. He felt no joy, he only felt mildly amused. Looking over at the fellow demon weapon, he looked rather uninterested. Gripping her hand gently, he shook.
"Izuru, my last name has been lost." He said, before facing Hotaru once more, "We will be able to see our compatability in the first class, do not falter with your skills." He seemed rather serious, like there was something to be lost if she messed up.

Hana Yukimura
Shibusen Demon Weapon | Front Lobby

The little lady smiled, "Of course I forgive you!" She said in a lively voice, "I shouldn't have been sprawled out on the stairs to be tripped on, that's so dangerous..." She chuckled and rubbed the back of her head. She then listened to the sibling's conversation, up until the question was popped.
"Oh! My name is Hana Yukimura." She said with a bow, "Japanese, into personality only, and i'm a Demon Weapon, yep!" She smiled brightly. She got onto the lobby floor properly, before turning around, "Some say I also would make a great wife, both with my cooking and assertiveness."

Hotaru | Meister | Front Lobby

The girl went to give her now founded partner an excited response but, she took note to his rather monotonous persona. If it was just shyness to a first meeting, the feel would've already faded away but, this was how he was apparently. With a short huff, Hotaru nodded, taking note to what Izuru said and the mannerism in his sentence. "R-Right," she didn't mean to stutter but, Hotaru's never really encountered a person who hasn't reciprocated her uplifted attitude. Nonetheless, this person would now be in her life and she looked forward to any future happenings between the two.

"Say um' Izuru, do you want to go look around the school?" Hotaru asked, rubbing her arm as her eyes danced along the crowd, "All this conversation amongst everyone is giving me a headache," she chuckles in a more nervous way than a comical way.

Luca Baum | Weapon | Front Lobby

"I'm a weapon myself, as a matter of fact," Luca answered, realizing that Mr. Stukov could, perhaps, be a potential partner for herself. He seemed to be nice enough, but honestly that's all that really mattered to the young German, so she didn't pay close attention to the other factors that came with picking a partner. As she was thinking about this, she noticed that said Meister's posture had changed, now much more relaxed than it had been before, and actually looking very uncomfortable for a standing position. Scooting a little bit away from him, Luca lightly poked his leg in an attempt to get his attention before moving the same hand in a motion to the empty spot beside her. "You want to sit down? I don't know exactly how much longer this will take, but since you did walk up those stairs I'm guessing that your legs are fatigued, even if it's just a little bit." That last half sentence just floated out of the blonde's mouth right as she thought of it, an action which rarely happened. Perhaps I'm just more tired than usual, she thought as she put her hands back on her legs.

Sebastian | Meister | Front Lobby
Standing slowly, Sebastian stretched and let out a groan when he felt multiple bones pop. Rubbing his neck, he glanced around the area, observing how almost everyone and their mother was engaged in conversation. Not eager to make any acquaintances, or be dragged into anything he didn't want to deal with, he quietly shuffled past several groups, making his way inside of the Academy.

Yawning, he looked around and found that the inside entrance was a lot less crowded than outside. Leaning against a wall, he slowly slid down to the floor and yet out a yawn. After the trip to the city and the walk up the stairs, he was quite.. Tired.

Looking around to ensure he had been unnoticed, he clasped his hands behind his head and closed his eyes, figuring it was as good a place as any to take a quick nap.

[fieldbox="Asphyx, green, solid"]
[spacer]From a general look at the stairway, Asphyx noted a number of different conversations going around by different bunch of people. That was something she should have expected, seeing as how the stairs could virtually let a vehicle through with how wide they were - assuming vehicle can climb the stairs... Or fall off them.[/spacer][spacer]Despite her intentions, Asphyx never made it to joining a conversation and ruining it because she caught sight of a girl waving towards her general direction. The way the girl had a ridiculously large smile and the way she braved the sea of people to reach her piqued her interest; her figure had often attracted attention but it wasn't common for someone to go out of their routine to greet her.[/spacer][spacer]The girl, who introduced herself as Ellen the Demon Weapon, would not have surprised her if she turned out to be a personification of all the positive energy in the world - to a point where Asphyx wondered if her weapon form would be balloons. Or a sweater that threatens to hug the life out of someone. Regardless of her imagination Asphyx entertained the girl with a reply, albeit perhaps with a tad of haughtiness. Her hands stayed hidden in her hoodie pocket as if ignoring the hand Ellen had extended.[/spacer][spacer]"Ellen, huh - That's a bland name. I'm Asphyx. What's so good about sweaters or sparkles that makes you blurt it out to a person you've just met anyway?"[/spacer][spacer]Despite asking a question to let the conversation flowing, she was prepared to cut Ellen off with a simple; "I'm a Meister by the way" if she turned out to be one of those people who could talk the day away describing about meaningless things. If she gives a simple answer however, Asphyx planned to retort with a disagreement and saying hoodies and make-ups were better than the two she had mentioned. There was also every chance that Ellen would exceed her expectations altogether and throw her off, but that was the joy in conversations and meeting new people - at least to Asphyx, the female Meister.[/spacer][/fieldbox]

Alexei Stukov | Meister | Front Lobby

Stukov was hardly aware of the fact that he was in an uncomfortable position, in fact he was not even completely awake at that point while he awaited the grand old announcement for everyone to get off their lazy behinds and get to class. Or wherever they would be going first off. When Ms. Baum poked his leg he opened his left eye fully, glancing her way as she scooched over a small bit and offered him a seat. Well, wasn't that nice of her? He had not even considered sitting down at all and he nodded as she spoke of both being a weapon and the offer itself to sit down. "Well, thank you kindly, I will take seat for now. Took many steps to get up here indeed, ensure students get their cardio each day, da?" With a smirk he took a seat, arms remaining behind his head as he relaxed. No sense rushing ahead, not with a potential partner already found. Things would work themselves out, in the grand scheme of things, so no sense worrying.

Darrus & Renee Vlunder | Weapon & Meister | Front Lobby

Darrus then smiled brightly. "Ah Hana, a beautiful name for a beautiful woman." He winked at her before letting out a loud oof! as Ren elbowed his side. "Excuse Darrus. But it is very nice to meet you, Hana." Ren said, glaring at her brother slightly before smiling at Hana once again. The two got onto the lobby floor and off the stairs as well. When Hana turned and remarked about being a good wife, Darrus immediately piped up, moving to wrap his arm around Hana. "Ah! Beautiful, a weapon, and a good cook? You can definitely be my wi- Agh! Chingado!" Ren pulled Darrus' ear, who then cursed in spanish, moving him away from Hana and laughing nervously. "Please excuse my dumb brother again" Darrus straightened up as Ren let go of him, sighing and laughing nervously as well. "Alright Alright I deserved that I supposed." Ren rolled her eyes and sighed. "Anyways, how's the partner search been going? Theres more new students than I would've thought." Ren looked around, sipping the last of her coffee. She noticed how many of the students had started conversing with people or found partners. Good for them. She thought cheerfully.

Hana Yukimura
Shibusen Demon Weapon | Front Lobby

Hana giggled gently as she watched the siblings bicker.
"Oh no, it's fine. I get that comment all the time, minus the weapon part. That's a bit of a turn off for most people." She said while rubbing the back of her head, "Pretty scary to change into weapon form at any time to some people."
She gasped when the girl had asked about the partnering, "Oh no... OH SHOOT THAT'S RIGHT!" She yelled, running off into the crowd, "Sorry guys see you later I need to find a partner bye!" She continued on into the ground, panting her lungs out. How could she have forgotten the soul purpose she came here for? Partner... Partner... Part- "Oof!" She bumped right into a young man.
"S-Sorry! Hey are you a meister and partnerless?" She asked while pointing to him.

John Charon l Meister l Front Lobby

John was talking to a group of people who recognized his accent and wanted to know more about where he came from. "And I think that's all I can say at the moment about Canada. I'm just hoping that have some kind of maple syrup so I can feel more at home, eh?" John said putting on a heavy Canadian accent for the stereotypical comedy of it. The smile on his face was bright and vibrant, filled with joy that he made a great first impression to a group of people. He knew that he will be seeing those people again.

As John waved them goodbye to continue his search for a partner, someone bumped into him before he could fully turn around. The impact wasn't that hard, but it was enough to make him let out an 'oof' from it. No one was hurt, but John couldn't help but apologize for bumping into her. "N-no. It was my fault, I should have watched where I was going." He said while rubbing the back of his head while lightly chuckling. "Oh?" The question she asked kinda caught him off guard. It was one he wanted to hear since it would have made his search much easier. "Of course. I was just heading to continue my search. If you are who I think you are, want to partner up?" John tried to put on his kindest smile to try and make a good first impression towards the girl.

Ellen Hirsch | Weapon | Front Lobby

Ellen's smile faltered and she stopped bouncing. That was a good question and it caught her off guard. What was so great about sweaters and sparkles? No one had ever asked her that before. Her lollipop almost fell out of her mouth.
"Well... I guess I just like them. Hmm.." It only took a second of thinking before Ellen's stupid smile returned in full force. "I think I like you. Are you a meister? Do you wanna be partners!?" Ellen held out a hand, her smile bigger than ever.

Kaito Harashima| Front Lobby

Sighing as he still hasn't found a partner. Kaito walks away from the group and goes in hope of finding a partner. Going inside he notices a guy taking a nap. As funny as he was he decides to pull a prank on him. Shouting at the top of his lungs he rolls the boy over"Boo!" laughing in a tone that was heard by everybody that was around. Helping the boy up he introduces himself"hi i'm Kaito" Holding out his hand he apologizes on why he pranked him" I'm sorry I just couldn't resist pulling a prank on a innocent person"

Sebastian | Meister | Front Lobby

Having been peacefully napping, Sebastian was caught off guard when he heard a loud voice and he was knocked over. Eyes wide, he stared at Kaito with a mixture of annoyance and discomfort. Staring at the hand offered to him, Sebastian could feel his mouth twitched as he stood on his own, practically glaring at the Demon Weapon.

"Nice. That's real nice. You may as well go ahead and stab in the side then steal my shoes." He remarked with a roll of his eye. "Anyway... 'Kaito', how about you go stand far, far away from me while I try to make sure my eardrums didn't burst." He said while making a shooing motion. Sebastian was used to prank - they were nothing new, but disturbing someone's rest? Dick move.

Kaito| Weapon| Front Lobby

"By the way those are some nice shoes though"Looking at Sebastian's shoes. They would be a nice pair for my collection. Now changing gears he explains why he disturbed him and tells him to cool down"I'm just looking for a partner" Holding out his hands in innocence. "By the way are you a meister?" Asking him ,hoping he is one. Taking out a small bottle that said 5 Hour Energy. Gulping it down he offers one to Sebastian "you know they wont let you sleep in class right?" Obviously trying to calm down Sebastian before he punched him.

[fieldbox="Asphyx, green, solid"]
[spacer]Relying on her personal experience of dealing with various people she met due to her active desire and personality, Asphyx assumed that the girl in front of her would either try to defend her interests or feel offended by the question. The way Ellen 'froze' however was a reaction she had rarely seen anyone make; it was as if Ellen just accepted what Asphyx had said, despite the fact it was a question which indirectly implied that she wasn't very thoughtful of herself if she agreed.[/spacer][spacer]"You should really think about what you like better. Also I'm a Meister, yeah."[/spacer][spacer]She replied with a perplexed look at the sudden confession, the hand out to her once more. In a normal scenario, Asphyx would have played hard-to-get, enjoying the irritation spreading across their face. She would have done exactly that if Ellen had answered otherwise. The way she answered however made it hard for the female Meister to think that she was creating such a bubbly personality, since if she was cunning enough to act out a personality then she would have either feigned to not understand or pushed her likes regardless.[/spacer][spacer]In her mind, Asphyx was more or less certain that at least to a massive degree, she was being genuine. In that case she was unable to predict what kind of action Ellen, the girl in front of her, would take if she pulled out another antagonistic answer. Worst case scenario, she might try to hug her into becoming partners.[/spacer][spacer]"..."[/spacer][spacer]The female Meister hesitated, weighing the different options but with a sigh, she gave a positive answer to the girl in front of her, somewhat carefully pulling her own hand to Ellen's into a shake.[/spacer][spacer]"It's not like I have a partner anyway - as long as you don't, like, randomly touch me that is."[/spacer][spacer]It wasn't a bad deal overall to Asphyx, for she would definitely need a partner eventually to fully experience the life at the Academy. In some sense this also allowed a perfect opportunity to get to know Ellen better so that if she was to come across a person like her again, she would know how to deal with them.[/spacer][spacer]"So, like, what kind of weapon are you, a sweater?"[/spacer][/fieldbox]

Sebastian | Meister | Front Lobby

Staring blankly at Kaito, Sebastian rubbed his face aggressively, his eye closing as he contemplated what the teen asked. Breathing out a heavy sigh, Sebastian snatched the bottle out of his hand before chugging it. Squinting, he stared at the ceiling before looking back to Kaito with a blank expression.

"Yes, I am a meister. Yes, I will be your partner. But, if you try shout in my ear again they will never find your body." He said with a cheerful smile, shaking Kaito's hand. "So, let's do our best to get along, yeah?"

Lobby

"Oh, of course!" The young lady spoke in a gentle tone. Just in time... Great. She felt relieved. "My name's Hana Yukiter-" She was cut off when a large blue man had come from the doors.
"Oh shoot, we'll introduce better later..."

Izuru ...
Shibusen Demon Weapon | Front Lobby

"Impossible." He said, pulling his sleeve back slightly to reveal his watch, "Wandering will be allowed in six hours, after classes have concluded." He commented, "As for now, we'll be escorted inside in... Three. Two. One." He pointed to the very entrance of the academy. A tall blue man wearing a tank top came from the doors, holding a megaphone.
"As normal, my predictions are correct." He crossed his arms, staring at the man as he flicked the megaphone on and held it to his mouth.

-Special Character: Sid Barret-

"Alright all of you, settle down!" His voice resonated over the immediate area, the chatter of the crowd dying down as most of the attention was drawn to him.
"Okay, great. Most of you know how to listen. That's a good sign. Now, onto the formal things. I'm Sid Barret and i'll be your orientation class coach. I was taken off of war duty a long time ago by the second Shinigami. I would have argued but that wasn't the man I used to be." He then cleared his throat, "Now then, if you'll all follow me inside, we'll be going for the gym for your first test."

~Fifteen minutes later...

"Alright, line up! Weapon with meister against the wall. All I want you to do is show how well you and your weapon can resonate. Not asking for anything classy. The strength in your link will determine which class you get into. Either the high class where you'll get the top education and an easier chance at getting out of one-star position. Or the lower classes where you will have to work and practice twice as hard to do well. Meisters will be called alphabetically and the weapons will follow them up." He sat down in a chair, having a clip board in hand.

Izuru ...
Shibusen Demon Weapon | Gym

Izuru gave Hotaru a side glance. He felt a forced twinge of emotion; worry. Worry that he will not be able to rank up with this girl, and never do well. His mindset was iron-printed to succeed and excell, but he couldn't do so if his partner weighed him down.
"When resonating with me, focus on my soul wavelength. You'll have to be calm; very calm to pick it up." He leaned down and whispered into the female's ear, "We will get into the high class." His tone had a disturbing amount of strain in it, as if forcing himself to have an emotion.

Hotaru | Meister | Gym

Hotaru looked up at her partner and furrowed her brow a bit, swallowing hard. His tone of assertion made her rather nervous actually. To excel in a particular activity or anything of the sorts was never her motive -- or never something that she'd ever force upon herself for that matter. "O-Okay.." she said, averting her eyes forward to the intimidating teacher, trying to ignore the gaze she caught from Izuru. Hotaru now clasped her hands together in front of her, feeling them grow rather clammy, she rubbed them together in sight of trying to rid herself of the anxiety she now felt.

To try and pass the time by until her name was called, Hotaru looked down at her fellow and potential classmates, somewhat realizing the reason behind Izuru's worrisome tone. Her lips parted in a quiet exhale. She looked as if she didn't have the potential as the others did. But she was ready. She was ready to show them what she was truly made of.

Alexei Stukov | Meister | Front Lobby

With the call to order by the apparent Gym teacher looking fellow, Alexei smirked and jammed his hands into his pockets, glancing at Ms. Baum and smirking, making an offhand comment as he hopped onto his feet, getting ready to follow the teacher inside along with the rest of the student body. No sense waiting any longer, they wouldn't be getting any younger, that much was certain. Sooner this test was done, sooner he could get to work right proper. Sooner he got to work right proper, sooner that the test would be done and he could go about his business as a Meister. And that meant hunting, or whatever else he got tasked with. "Well, looks like we're on the move. Shall we, Ms. Baum?"

Alexei kept quiet as he walked in, not trying to stand out and keeping on the down low as he moved, arriving at the Gym itself with people organizing themselves randomly, despite the initial call for order. Well, this should be interesting, he thought with a quiet smirk as he took a position in line, making sure that Ms. Baum kept up with him, or was at least aware of where he was in the line. They would have to see how well they really resonated now, and he was hopeful that it would go well. Granted, it was a tempered hope, but hope none the less.

Izuru ...
Shibusen Demon Weapon | Gym

Izuru heard as Hotaru's name was called a mere fifteen minutes after their entry. Some people already passed, others failed.
"Time to get started..." He whispered in her ear, leading her to the stage area gently with a hand pressed to her back. He stood in front of her when told to start, changing into his weapon form and plummeting to the ground.
"Pick me up." It sounded more like a demand than a request as he spoke in his weapon form, "Do not mess up." He didn't feel a twinge of guilt to how he was treating her.
He wanted success, and if this girl was hopeless...
He'd leave her behind.
