  • Eshiya, A world where monsters, guilds, and adventures are a real thing. Full of creatures, litches & gods, oh my! Magic, swords and everything like a video game, but you only get to die once. Well, unless you have someone in your party with resurrecting.

    Skills separated into four categories:
Weapons skills, Red Skills (sword, unarmed, bow etc),
Armor skills, Yellow Skills(Shield, leather, plate, etc.),
Magic skills, Blue Skills (fire, restoration, force, etc.),
Utility skills, Green Skills (alchemy, herb-gathering, etc.).
White EXP: Unused exp that can be used anywhere.

Everyone starts with a skill of 0 in all skills. When you begin, you get 5 points to spend in any way you want. After that point, using skills gives you experience for whatever general skillset they belong to (color-coded) which you can use to upgrade that skill or take new skills in that skill set. Skills can be taught by other people. Getting one point in specific skills so that you can get started in leveling up yourselves by using them. Adventures' levels are basically how many skill points they have.

Powerful bosses grant you "white" experience, that can be spent anywhere.

As you gain more experience in certain skills, you gain special abilities based on that skill. Having certain combinations of skill levels unlocks combo abilities.

  • This is a list of important and notable NPCs that will not be joining the two main characters on quests, but maybe often dealing with them throughout the roleplay for a variety of reasons.

  • The god of Life and Nature. A green haired man who wears a rather lame toga Vudall seems to be pretty lazy and uncaring. After all, nature will take its natural course. However, because he is a benevolent god, he gave a quest. "Go kill the Demon Lord and I will return you to the world the moment you were taken out of it!"

  • Jade and Ruby, the male-female twins that work at the Anything You Need store in town. Usually one or the other will be at the. Both of them have black hair and amber eyes. They seem pretty nice and helpful. Though they act the time, the only difference you can tell is their voices.

  • none

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

  • After being captured by a nudest witch cult, Sage and Sanz, old high school acquaintances, get launched into a fantasy world with nothing but whatever was on their person. Together, they must find out what the hell is going on?!

  • Landing in a fantasy world, Sage and Sanz go looking for answers. Only to meet the god named Vudall who is too lazy to teleport them back home unless they kill the Demon Lord. In order to do this, Sanz and Sage go to the Adventure's Guild to figure out how to navigate to their goal.

There Sanz and Sage learn the harsh reality of money in this society and know they will have to work as soon as possible to get enough to just get food. The gold they received from Vudall was barely enough to get them parts of starting gear, a room and two meals. They meet a healer named Rhea who offered to party with them and help.

Sanz found their first job. Fight off the wolves and protect the farmer's furchicks. Too bad neither is well equipt for the job and Sage is afraid of dogs.

It was just a normal walk in the park for Sanz and Sage. The night was beautiful and the only thing that could be heard was the strange tribal music in the distance. Occasionally you saw the flash of skin as several naked women ran out of the woods with a lasso. Dragging you to the back of the woods where you saw several woodland creatures piked around a demonic symbol painted in the grass. There were only two people in this wild circle, thrown together by sheer force before one in a skull headdress started to chain words that neither really knew what they said, but the name "Vudall" came up a few times. As the end, a flash of light engulfed the two in the circle and they passed out.

When they both woke, it was morning on a grassy hillside outside of a town.

"Did I get drugged last night?" Sage asked, sitting up and rubbing her face.

Sanz groaned at Sage's words, slowly managing to pull himself up.
"Ugh... you tell me pretty-boy. Last thing I remember was a bunch of naked people chanting gibberish and--"
The man had to stop himself as he finally blinked his eyes all the way open and looked around. The land was open and covered with grass, nothing like the city they had left. And the only sign of civilization was a town surrounded by stone walls.
"Where the fuck are we?"

Sage was still rubbing her eyes, the sun for so fucking bright! The soft sound of a 'moo' finally made her open her eyes. She blinked, "Cows..?" She asked. Sanz asked where they were and she looked around, "Wow, I must have REALLY got drugged. Where are we?" Sage stood up and brushed herself off. Sage then chuckled to herself, "Man this town looks like it is from the dark ages." She mentioned.

Sanz pulled himself to his feet as Sage gawked around him. He was right, the town did look like it came from the dark ages. In fact, everything around the two of them reminded Sanz of a history book or some RPG set in a medieval world.

He didn't like it at all.

"This is why I don't drink..."
Sanz took in a deep breath and looked back over at the town. Right now, he and Sage had no idea where they were or how they had gotten there. Where there was a town, there were people. Where there were people, there was information. The man took a look over at Sage.
"My best guess is that we head into said town. Maybe someone can tell us what the fuck happened."

He didn't really know Sage that well, but right now Sanz needed something to convince himself that he wasn't dreaming or hallucinating. And since there was no way the pretty-boy was showing up in his dreams any time soon, that was a pretty good measure of security.

Sage rubbed the back of her head, brushing down her hair a bit, "Yeah. Hm... Sanz, right?" Sage asked him. "We went to high school together. I'm Sage. Sage Russo." Sage said, introducing herself as they started to walk to town. They had a little bit of a walk till they reached the open wooden gates.

"Yeah.. I remember."
What Sanz remembered was a pretty-boy that spent every other minute flirting with anyone and everyone in the school. Gender, personality, appearance, didn't really seem to matter. Hell, he'd gotten into Sanz's business a couple of times--despite Sanz's best efforts. And now the two of them were out in this random place... Sanz needed to find out what the hell had happened.
"So what's the last thing you remember before waking up in what looks like the middle ages?"

"Boobs." Sage answered, "Lots of boobs." They made it to the gates and there seemed to be two guards standing outside of it. The town was loud and bustling for first thing in the morning. Carts and crates, people carrying them with goods to stalls.

"Oh I know!" Sage said, putting her hand in her fist, "This is like one of those renaissance festivals." Sage said. reached into her pocket and pulled out her cellphone. She flipped the phone open, "Huh, no signal."

Last edited:
Of course that was what Sage focused on. Sanz had wondered if the young man had anything else that went through his mind, but it seemed that wasn't the case. A quick check of his phone revealed that he too had no signal. And the time was incorrect, there was no way it was 2:00 am here. Wherever they were, it was completely disconnected from any kind of signal... annoying.
"Don't these festivals usually happen somewhere near civilization though?"
Sanz tried not to think too hard about it. Everything was very strange right now. He couldn't help but notice that even the path into the town was a dirt road, rather than a paved one or even a gravel one. He approached one of the "knights" at the gate. Hopefully he could get some answers.

"Hey... me and my acquaintance are a bit lost. could you tell me where we are?"
The knight looked Sanz up and down--seemingly confused by his appearance. Was this some kind of private party where everyone showed up in costume? Or was it just his height putting the man off?
"This is the town of Themyscira, of the lands of Eshiya citizen."

...
The town of what in the where? Sanz took in an agitated breath
"Look, I applaud you for being in character, but we really have no idea where we are and need some directions."
The guard raised an eyebrow before speaking again
"I have already told you citizen, this is the town of Themyscira."
Okay. Now Sanz was getting beyond irritated.

"I thought the festivals happened somewhere in open farmland fields and stuff." Sage half said, watching Sanz walk up to someone to talk to. Sage trotted a bit so she didn't fall behind him. They approached one of the guards outside the city. Sage crossed her arms and listened as Sanz asked some questions. What the man said was really annoying Sage too. She took over for Sanz, taking a step forward and giving a charming smile.

"Actually, look. We were dragged here by some crazy women who kept calling some dude named Vudall and we just need help getting home." Sage told the two guards.

The guard who hadn't spoken up yet looked at the other guard and then back to the two newcomers, "Well, you can check the temple? They have a priest of Vudall there." He suggested.

"A what of what now?" Sage asked, "Ok, do you have a phone that I can borrow?"

The guard just looked really confused now.

As Sage spoke, Sanz found one of his hands clenching into a fist. This charade was going to push him past the breaking point--except he stopped himself with one detail. One thing that he would have missed if he wasn't used to looking over his opponents beforehand. The spears the guards were holding... they weren't fake. They were very much real metal and primed to be used as a weapon.

The red-hot anger that had been building was immediately replaced by a cold pit in Sanz's stomach. Something was very, very wrong here. Sanz put his hand on Sage's shoulder, almost completely missing the guard's confusion at the word 'phone.'
"Thank you for your time... we'll head that way."
Sanz waited until he and Sage were out of earshot from the guards, walking with a firm grip on Sage's shoulder. Maybe a little too firm--someone with his physique might bruise from that.
"Something is very wrong here--I'm not so sure we're at a fair."
Around the two of them, people of the town went about their activities. Everything he saw made the pit in Sanz's stomach grow deeper. These were not the sort of things that one did at a fair, unless Sanz was very mistaken as to what happened in those fairs. The fact that the name Vudall meant something here was the only clue they had--Sanz could only hope there were some answers there.

Sage felt an unnaturally hard hand squeeze her shoulder before she was pulled backward. She laughed, "Ahah, thanks for your help! See you later!" She said, waving a bit as Sanz dragged her further away from them into the town. Sage watched as a couple people glanced at them, but it seemed mostly out of curiosity. Why? They were out a place a bit. No one else seemed to even have an ounce of modern clothing on. Everything looks so... authentic.

Sanz finally stopped dragging her and stopped to harshly whisper things into her ear. Sage felt herself grow a bit anxious. Where were they? "Maybe.. we got shipped to some third world? That is a long way to travel in a short time." Sage said, "Why didn't they take our wallets and phones?" Sage asked.

"Come on. I think we should go to this temple." Sage told Sanz, "Fine this, uh, Vudall guy. This is our only clue right now. Maybe he brought us here."

Sanz took another look around him before continuing to walk. His voice was kept low as they continued to move.
"Maybe? This doesn't look like any third world I've heard of though..."
Even making the ludicrous assumption that Sage was correct, and the two of them had been shipped somewhere out of the country, what was the reason? The individuals from the previous night hadn't given anything away, just said some gibberish, did a lot of drugs, and then his memory went dark. The pit in Sanz's stomach was only growing deeper the more he thought about it.
"Have you ever heard of anything named Vudall before? It almost sounds like the name of some god, but..."

"No, I've never heard of the name Vudall before. I know I know a lot of people. But I don't know these guy." Sage said as they walked to the temple with Sanz. Sage was sure they would find a way home. This Vudall guy owned a temple, so he must be the head of some kind of crazy ass cult. "It's a cult..." Sage said finally.

"Fucking..."
Sanz took in a breath through his teeth. He was already sick of this whole excursion, and the sinking feeling in his stomach told him it was nowhere near finished.
"I swear if I see any nudism in there I'm leaving. I don't care if this is our only clue."
The man took another deep breath and shook his head before walking in. He could only hope that the people in here were more reasonable. He really didn't want to lose his temper

They made it to the temple. It climbed into the sky, almost looked like the biggest building in town. Next to a few other ones that Sage had no idea what they were. On the outside, there seemed to be two marble statues hugged the doorway, one of a woman with a trident and a book wearing robes the other of a man with a leafy crown holding a stave and a scroll, also wearing robes.

"Wow. Fancy." Sage mentioned as they walked through the doorway. When they got in, there was a line of different types of alters. Looked like there were several men in red walking around the temple. Some of them had elaborate headdresses, that too Sage looked more like birds sitting on their heads with their wings spread out. It looked stupid.

"Hello young travelers, how may I assist you today?" One of the priests approached them and the only gender indication Sage had was his voice.

Okay, this was absolutely ridiculous. The town outside looked like it had come from some dark-age European settlement. But this? This looked like it belonged in ancient Greece. If this was some rich floozie's idea of getting their kicks, Sanz was going to find them and beat them so thoroughly that they spent the remainder of their days eating through a--
How may I assist you today?
The comment pulled Sanz out of his head and back into the.. temple, he guessed he should call it.
"Look--me and my acquaintance here woke up outside the walls of this... town,"
Sanz struggled for a minute to find the word. He didn't for a second believe this was an actual, real town that was here all along.
"We don't know how we got here, we don't even know where the hell we are. All we both remember is getting roped into some weird ritual, the name Vudall, and then waking up here. The guards were less than helpful and told us we should come here. All I want to know is where the hell we are and what the fuck is actually going on. Can you help with that?"
If this man gave some canned response like the guards, Sanz was afraid he might actually blow his top. And that wouldn't end well for anyone involved.

The priest did look pretty confused, "I'm not a priest of Vudall, but we do have one of his alters here." He said. He motioned for the two of them to follow as they walked deeper into the temple. They soon came up to the alter that looked a lot like the man in the statue outside.

"I'm sorry, let me see if I am understanding this right. That is Vudall?" Sage asked.

"Yes, it is. I'm afraid I don't think I can help you. Gods do many mysterious things. Often times we can't understand why or what they do." The priest said.

"Ok ok, fine. Vudall is a god, how do we talk to him?" Sage asked.

"Why, the way you talk to any of the gods. Pray to them. Pray Vudall may help you. Vudall is the god of life and nature. It is by his will we live as we do today." The priest said.

Sage raised a brow, she felt like she was slowly becoming more and more pissed as they talked.

"Do you think we're stupid?"
Sanz was openly glaring at the 'priest' currently.
"You honestly expect us to believe that some god is responsible for this and that we just have to pray until our troubles are fixed? This isn't a joke, this is two people being dragged out of their homes and shipped off to the middle of god-knows-where, and if you don't start giving some answers that make sense there's going to be trouble!"
The man was trying to be civilized about this, but Sanz couldn't stop his voice from raising, nor letting just a bit of his internal rage start to seep through. He probably sounded more irritated than anything--which was an understatement in extreme.
