Soldiers of Steel

Jodie's back was leaning against the cold steel frame that propped itself up against the wall. Holding the bed together that she sat upon. She was laying steadily, legs out crossed in front of her. In her hands a book with a Leather red cover that read ; The Staphylococci of a Mad Man. Another of the many medical books she had packed with her. Another of the many she had yet to read and inform herself about. Jodie had been awake for quiet awhile and had taken a shower earlier that morning. So her wet hair still clung to the skin and wrapped itself around her neck. The white tee was loosely hanging around her torso and the only thing adorning her lower features were a pair of tight lady boxer briefs.
The loud intercom came buzzing out through out the rooms and caused Jodie to sigh with grief. Maybe she should have just stuck to cleaning out wounds back in Henry's Lab. Maybe, maybe not. Though, his next step was to experiment on her, which is something she did not want. So in a way this whole thing is a blessing. Got her out of becoming a mutant.
Slipping on her normal everyday clothing of a pair of jeans and tight black tank top that exposed her very intricate tattoo that laced her right arm. Clasping a weapon belt around her waist, walking out of her room nonchalantly. She didn't always dress up in uniform, plus. She requested one to be in her Mech so if push came to shove she could change. In her hands she held a towel, she was trying to wring out her wet hair to speed up the drying process. But no Sooner she found herself stepping inside the Hanger.
Inside many mech's where high and mighty, storing up tall above them. Closely eyeing each one as she strolled by, letting the towel rest on her shoulders. All the way down and to the right was her Mech, a newly purchased one she must say. This was her first time ever really having a mech considering during battle all she ever needed was a med kit, space and back up. Unlikely in this situation she guessed, slightly biting her bottom lip in thought.
It was a dark silver color with a bright red cross embezzled on the side. Was she really going to ride this thing? It was a sore thumb compared to all the others. Wasting her time on this thing only made her mind stress, which caused her to shrug it off and walk away. Wasn't she suppose to check it? Not like she had any clue how. Jodie would probably mess it up if she even tried looking under the panel's.
